    Boners.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Put an hour into Knights of the Old Republic. That game has definitely not aged well. Still fun tho.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Finishing up my second run through Daredevil. I love Vincent's Fisk voice, it's perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:24 PM

His whole portrayal is just amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Not sure if anyone remembers the old SNES / Genesis Star Trek: The Next Generation game, but I wrote about it and actually included a link to play the game in your browser in case you want to get your nostalgia on. http://www.geeksnack.com/2015/05/10/great-games-star-trek-next-generation/

    ReplyDelete
  6. I got a chuckle out of seeing you in the wild when you popped up in the comments of a James Gunn fb post.

    ReplyDelete
  7. If Troy Brouwer scores a goal in this series I'll eat my dog's shit.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Was it my Taylor Swift analogy?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Dont bother getting out a fork then.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I honestly don't remember, it was on his post about fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:31 PM

After watching the prequel trilogy my thoughts are less is more George.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I could probably have said "if Troy Brouwer hits the net in this series..." and still be safe.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:32 PM

    Or just less George.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I blame Rick McCallum way more than George for those movies.

    ReplyDelete
  15. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 10, 2015 at 5:33 PM

I'm planning to play a trainwreck called Daikatana, just to see how bad it is.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Who wants to watch a PPV on the network?

    ReplyDelete
  17. COD: Modern Warfare 3, after dinner at my Mother-in-law's with the family.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ThebrazilianpsychoMay 10, 2015 at 5:34 PM

    Single or multiplayer?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Me if I was home, Bash 1990 is my suggestion, or Capital Combat 1990.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I was thinking ECW or mid 2000s WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:35 PM

I still think if they didn't rush the entire Vader Redemption story and swapped the ewoks with wookies Return of the Jedi would have been four stars.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jedi is 4 stars. 5 stars would have been wookies/no Death Star re-hash.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I find Matt Murdocks voice really annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:36 PM

    FOR THE REPUBLIC

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:37 PM

    Yeah

    ReplyDelete
  26. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:37 PM

    Vengeance 2004.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Over the last several days, I saw several people complaining that their favorite tv show was cancelled. If the show didn't have shitty ratings, it wouldn't have been cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Any surprises get the ax?

    ReplyDelete
  29. This. My friend posted "why the hell did State of Affairs get cancelled?!"

    It's hilarious

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thank you Captain Obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:39 PM

Those stupid battle droids that are the old republic version of stormtroopers should have had a different look.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I do dislike his shit eating grin half the time. Stop smiling, you idiot, you're supposed to be a professional!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thaddeus MountainMay 10, 2015 at 5:40 PM

Holy shit, the first 7 seasons of Aqua Teen Hunger Force are streaming on Hulu!! Robot Chicken and Sealab 2021 as well!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:40 PM

Doesn't make it less sucky if a TV show you like gets cancelled. I didn't watch any of the shows that got cancelled but I would have been bummed if Parks got cancelled in Season 3 and "it got shitty ratings" wouldn't have cheered me up.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh god, it is beyond awful. Good luck getting past the first stages

    ReplyDelete
  36. I love them. They are surprisingly funny.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:41 PM

I'm not agreeing with your dissage of Matt Murdock, I just like the quote.

    ReplyDelete
  38. disagree goerge is russo and mccallum should have been vince but he is a yes man

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:41 PM

    Is Aqua Teen still on?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I had several friends that complained that the mindy project got axed. It barely got renewed for the 3rd season but some people think it might get to the magical 4th season for syndication money.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thaddeus MountainMay 10, 2015 at 5:41 PM

John Romero thought he was untouchable. He was wrong and this game proved it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I was facebook friends with James Gunn a long time ago but I think he got rid of his personal page.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The all-digital sets starting with Clones is just so sterile

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thaddeus MountainMay 10, 2015 at 5:42 PM

It is. The next season will be the last.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I don't like the Cavs either, but few things are sweeter than watching the Bulls and their fanbase suffer. Good shit LBJ.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It might get picked up on a two season deal on Hulu since it has a loyal following and people like Mindy Kaling

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thaddeus MountainMay 10, 2015 at 5:43 PM

Right?! I should probably buy several 30 packs of High Life to really relive the experience.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Mitch, The GodfatherMay 10, 2015 at 5:43 PM

I have bad luck with shows I actually enjoy getting cancelled. Ironside, Taxi Brooklyn, Resurrection, etc. There better be a season 2 of Secrets and Lies or I will be highly upset.

    ReplyDelete
  49. There will be.

Taxi Brooklyn was a summer burnoff show.

Resurrection was a show that should've been a miniseries. It fell off hard in season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Troy Brouwer from point plank! He didn't score, of course.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I thought you said 2000 ECW for a second. I was going to run out of this thread full speed.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:45 PM

But they can't shoot for shit

    ReplyDelete
  53. Mitch, The GodfatherMay 10, 2015 at 5:45 PM

Taxi Brooklyn bummed me out. Now I'll never know if Leo will get to save his son or did Kat's mother actually die on that ferry.

Resurrection did fall off in the second season.

Did you watch Secrets and Lies or am I the only one?

    ReplyDelete
  54. How about November 2 Remember 99? Awesome vs Tanaka, Rhino/Impact Players vs Raven/Dreamer/Sandman and Taz vs RVD.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It's weird, I find the show REALLY funny... yet have no desire to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. It's a fun show. Best theme song on TV

    ReplyDelete
  57. That's the reason why I wait a month or two before watching most shows before I start watching it. Only exceptions this season was how to get away with murder and gotham which I really wanted to see

    ReplyDelete
  58. I did not. I watch The Good Wife on Sundays at 9.

Yea, Taxi Brooklyn had some nerve ending on a cliffhanger. For a summer burnoff show, it was easy to watch, even if not very good.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sergeant Dr. Facts YatesMay 10, 2015 at 5:47 PM

Did the Galactic Empire have good health benefits for their employees?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Mitch, The GodfatherMay 10, 2015 at 5:48 PM

I got to watch from the beginning. Only exception was Scandal.

    ReplyDelete
  61. There has been way too many times I have gotten burned watching a show & loving it and then it's cancelled 2-3 months into the show

    ReplyDelete
  62. I like that time when Shake was selfish, Meatwad was loveably naive, and Frylock was all serious. I think it was also when Carl was a perv

    ReplyDelete
  63. I guess N2R 99 it is. We'll start at 8.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'll watch. What time?

    ReplyDelete
  65. If Mikey goes missing, all eyes on Burt

    Keep digging that hole, Mikey

    ReplyDelete
  66. Kingpin and Wesley is definitely among the top villain bromances ever

    ReplyDelete
  67. Nope, just shitty Palpatinecare

    ReplyDelete
  68. EVERYONE GET IN HERE NOW.....your work is appreciated..here is corn

    ReplyDelete
  69. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:56 PM

Definitely. He was just completely loyal without feeling like a weakling.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I've watched very little ECW but am kinda looking forward to this. Probably going to skip Mad Men altogether.

    ReplyDelete
  71. They were best friends!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Macklin, Man Without FearMay 10, 2015 at 5:57 PM

Shawn and Diesel without the constant betrayal.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Fuck that. The majority were independent contractors. You think your average stormtrooper knows anything about plumbing? All they know is killing and white suits.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Troy Brouwer takes a stupid penalty. Rangers score. He'll show up on the game summary at least.

What a useless piece of fucking shit this guy is. He should be pitching for the Red Sox.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Isn't N2R 99 the show that prompted Scott to write his column where he went off on ECW fans?

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm starting N2R 99 in 30 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  77. 3...2....1.....and GO!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I've read little of his ECW stuff. I thought Scott always hated the mutants

    ReplyDelete
  79. Glitter shit on his forehead like he's a Hindu.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yeah but they sent him a ton of hate mail specifically because he bashed this show. (If it was this one)

    ReplyDelete
  81. I thought that opening graphic of the arena said something VERY different for a sec.

    ReplyDelete
  82. If they were independent contractors, why couldn't they work for the Rebellion as soon as their Empire work was done???

    ReplyDelete
  83. Cyrus was so underrated. He was great on color for ECW.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Smark marks of the world rejoice!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Damn!!! Check that mullet on background security guy! In 1999!

    ReplyDelete
  86. did we really love rhymes this much back in the 90's

    ReplyDelete
  87. That one security guy on the left was in TNA for a bit too iirc

    ReplyDelete
  88. When Gertner did it? Very much so.

    ReplyDelete
  89. "Can we rock? What's up, doc!"

    Yes.

    ReplyDelete
  90. That's in the style of the character, honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  91. What's Tazz doing in the Impact...oh..wrong show

    ReplyDelete
  92. Taz on screen, 1/4 actual size.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Looks like a pretty good crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Taz had an awesome theme.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I'm not watching because I don't have the network and can't (be bothered to) find it online but I'd like to state for the record that Gertner's schtick doesn't hold up in the slightest.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Wiki says this show drew 3000.

    ReplyDelete
  97. "You sold out?"

    Just signed with WWE?

    ReplyDelete
  98. I still love it.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Yep he debuted at the Rumble.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I don't understand what is happening.

    ReplyDelete
  101. That promo he cut at TNA's version of One Night Stand was pretty awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Should NXT have its own "Then, Now, Forever" type signature? In place if the WWE one

    ReplyDelete
  103. Turning Taz heel?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Pretty good promo from Taz here.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Was he a face? I have no context for this. They were already telling him he sold out.

    ReplyDelete
  106. no compete clause

    ReplyDelete
  107. Kinda hard to tell with ECW some times.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Joe Pesci in Goodfellas!

    ReplyDelete
  109. They're the same size!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Eight years out is fairly relevant for pro wrestling references too!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Pop pop Joey?

    ReplyDelete
  112. Took him like 7 seconds to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Gertner never did anything after ECW did he?

    ReplyDelete
  114. Arrow took a pic with Sting and says he wants in at WM32. Make this happen!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Cyrus is just chilling out in the corner still.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'd legit LOL if the crowd transferred that chant to Gertner.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Troy Brouwer is married? She can do better.

    ReplyDelete
  118. oh Tazz... the fanny pack buddy...

    ReplyDelete
  119. Taz' fanny pac trenchcoat look. oh my

    ReplyDelete
  120. DON'T HURT HIS ALREADY INJURED NECK!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. 1999 doesn't seem that long ago..and yet

    ReplyDelete
  122. Production Values!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  123. So the obvious question is if they still had Taz for this show, why not do RVD vs Taz, title for title?

    ReplyDelete
  124. wrestlers styles, always seven years behind

    ReplyDelete
  125. after being in the PG era so long all the cussing and such is actually catching me off guard

    ReplyDelete
  126. Because Paul sucks at writing conclusions?

    ReplyDelete
  127. I feel bad for Sting. He turned them down for 14 years and when he finally went for it he was treated pretty well and enjoyed the experience. Now he wants in and they're pretty whatever about him.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Dick Hertz...wait what?! I have no memory of this.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Classy Philly crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hey it's Jazz!

    ReplyDelete
  131. This is hilarious. Mostly because Simon can barely keep a straight(pun very much intended) face.

    ReplyDelete
  132. so this is obviously over dubbed..where the hell do they get this song?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Is that Irish Pat Kenney?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Par for the course that a celeb not only likes WWE, wants to be on tv, and is in shape enough to do something yet is totally ignored by tptb

    ReplyDelete
  135. I'm glad Spike got a good run in WWE

    ReplyDelete
  136. Who was Dick Hertz? Did he show up anywhere else?

    ReplyDelete
  137. Woah, that was a cool looking move from Hertz. Never seen it before.

    ReplyDelete
  138. All the dick puns.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I'm kind of surprised Vince Russo had nothing to do with this. Dick joke names and man vs woman are like his two favorite things.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Because he watched ECW.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I watched the NBC trailers for their new shows....yikes. Heartbreaker looks awful and I don't even know what The Player is even about.

    People Are Talking...just ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I'm still amazed at LeBron's shot earlier. The pre-Miami LeBron would've never hit a shot like that let alone even taken it.

    ReplyDelete
  143. The Three Amigos!

    ReplyDelete
  144. A blade job? But why?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Was it a blade job? I wasn't paying attention.

    ReplyDelete
  146. I really don't like them doing away with sitcoms basically. Love they are keeping the Classic SNLs Saturday at 10.

I might DVR The Player depending on reviews, but pass on the other two dramas. People Are Talking will be DVRed

    ReplyDelete
  147. Fun little match.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Novas hair is awful

    ReplyDelete
  149. Pretty even source of blood all the way across the hair line. No way that was hardway.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I can't remember the last new show I started watching on NBC. Might have been Community and that's what, 6-ish years now

    ReplyDelete
  151. I stole this comment from Nova.

    ReplyDelete
  152. "No one is gonna steal that haircut though" Cyrus is a god.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I literally looked away ten seconds and we're in a new match.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Was smothers still around at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  155. Little Guido most have said the Cowboys suck

    ReplyDelete
  156. I didn't realize this was a match lol. Did they always do this shit?

    ReplyDelete
  157. I'm surprised he didn't become a behind the scenes lifer, seems like the sort of self important asshole that would thrive there

    ReplyDelete
  158. Best conditioned ECW athlete isn't really a high bar to clear. Sandman is smoking backstage right now!

    ReplyDelete
  159. What's generally considered the best year of ECW? 95?

    ReplyDelete
  160. The network is such a mess. Even Univision and CW are starting to draw bigger. I love they moved their highest rated scripted series (Blacklist) to make room for a new show that failed and Blacklist has been plummeting against the Thursday opposition. Vintage NBC

    ReplyDelete
  161. sandman is puking up the first 12 beers right now before he drinks his next 8 ..and on his second pack

    ReplyDelete
  162. It finished first in 18-49. It's anything but a mess

    ReplyDelete
  163. He was for a long time. But he's one of the few guys educated enough to have other non wrestling jobs.

    ReplyDelete
  164. first match was just a thing..this is a pretty enjoyable spot fest

    ReplyDelete
  165. I think Big Sal would like to throw his name in "Best Conditioned ECWer"

    ReplyDelete
  166. The Voice and SNF. The NFL isn't exactly stretching anyone's programming muscles at the brain trust and The Voice has a shelf life as all these competitions do. Without hit original programming, the future is still going to be bleak on the nights Tom Brady and company isn't playing.

    ReplyDelete
  167. what the hell is cheti wearing

    ReplyDelete
  168. Inoffensive spot fest. Nova sucked.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Everything about Blurphy's entrance us seizure inducing

    ReplyDelete
  170. Poofy wrist fringe? But why?

    ReplyDelete
  171. I personally loved 95' due to Extreme Lucha Libre.

    ReplyDelete
  172. So there are like 2 guys left in the locker room that have not down a run in right?

    ReplyDelete
  173. Margot Robbie's doing yeoman's work keeping me interesting in Suicide Squad via her on set pics

    ReplyDelete
  174. ANOTHER run in? Are we watching WCW by accident?

    ReplyDelete
  175. Chetti looked like a member of NSync

    ReplyDelete
  176. Roadkill was so underrated. Could have been in the Vader/Bigelow class if he ever found the right gimmick.

    ReplyDelete
  177. The Voice still has some years left in it. The move to Blacklist was because Thursdays are a sought after night for advertisers and they had to plant their flag. They just gave it no support.

And they were smart enough to bid on football. NBC is fine once they shore up Thursdays and if they can ever figure out what to do once SNF ends

I am very intrigued by Undateable going live.

    ReplyDelete
  178. If I shoot Troy Brouwer I hope the bullet goes through him and into Curtis Glencross.

    ReplyDelete
