Pain & Gain and probably a Mariners loss on the docket for the evening.

  5. This is surprising to you?

Yknow who QT never used that I can recall? Hot Chocolate. Missed the boat, seems like every retro wannabe-QT soundtrack in the 90s had either "You Sexy Thing" or " Everyone's a Winner".

    Or get an assist tonight?

    Or a steal?

    Or a rebound?

Holy fuck that stat line tho

  16. Read some of the non-daily threads. For one thing, dude misinterprets a ton, and for another thing, he types like he just rattled off 1500 coffees and some amphetamines on the side.

I rarely open the non-Update/Nightly threads. There may be a thousand posters here I never see.

I think two. I'm pretty good at recognizing "voices" of posters.

One's Dougie, ones VJ, one is YankeesHoganHHHfan and the fourth and fifth don't seem to care enough to do anything.

I'm pretty sure multi-troll is a strict BoD thing.

This is my number 1 WWE pet peeve at the moment. The WWE video game booking is just old. I'd take jobber matches over putting guys in every combination possible as a way to build a feud.

  35. Didn't bother with Supergirl, Muppets look great though

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think the hack-a-stuff cheapens the game. May as well start having ref bumps. That serious has sucked. 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

    ReplyDelete

Yeah, lol they seem to dislike him too.

The only ones they really seem to hate over there are WitW and Perri.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  43. Found an ep on youtube recently and it still holds up for me.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hell, they hate VJ even more than we do.

It's amusing how HeisenGuy keeps pretending he's not VJ when it's incredibly obvious that he is. Same smug style, same smilies, he's from Toronto, and conveniently starting showing up in that thread right after he left here.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I don't see whats wrong with this. Tag Team is feuding have the guys in those tag teams wrestle some singles matches to build heat. Out of all the things wrong with the WWE this isn't on the list for me plus it sounds like it might be enjoyable.

    ReplyDelete
  46. But...but...but MUPPETS!

    ReplyDelete
  47. R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.May 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM

They started making fun of you but it's mostly making fun of WitW's temper tantrums and Perri's reviews.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Is there a show that you like but you hate every character? For me it's Suits. I love the show, but every character on the show is fucking awful. They're all selfish dicks. Every fucking one of them is a piece of shit.

    They HATE VJ lol.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  60. I used to be public enemy number one but they flamed out. Realizing they had been reposting every other comment I made for YEARS without me knowing kinda weirded me out.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Exactly, it'll be big shows for 3-6 weeks and then back to normal.

And that's coming from someone who genuinely enjoys Smackdown over those never ending slogs on Monday Nights.

    ReplyDelete

I thought that was a cool moment, but agree. It seems to reminiscent of the Ant-Man trailer.

Still, I loved it. Also, Wentworth Miller is a fucking revelation as Capt. Cold.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Maybe for a month. As long as it's taped, it's going to be second tier as far as ratings and interest.

    It's surprisingly hard with Superman.

    ReplyDelete
  79. One of those things will lead to you being over.

    The others not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Superman's a touch nut to crack so I kinda give them a pass on their f ups

    ReplyDelete
  81. Muppets looks promising, but the voices seem way off.
Supergirl trailer has good action but still has a "corny" factor. I don't how else they could do it though. Why is she the younger cousin of Superman if she's a kid and he's a baby when they leave Krypton?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Wait, Kane gets fired if Seth Rollins doesn't retain the title at Payback now?

Must have missed that revelation on Monday.

    ReplyDelete

I just mean that the attempt to keep making him this complex figure is a waste. He's not complex outside of the issues over how he should use his powers, and questions of just how much he should interfere. His responsibilities as a sort of demi-god are an interesting character conflict.

But he's not gritty. And he absolutely shouldn't be. Ever. Even a little bit.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I understand this isn't a business for MENSA members but it feels like calling the authority figure The Authority is a bit on the nose.

    ReplyDelete
  101. It's really difficulty to determine what's old and what's current. Yeah, you can tell if something was shot in 1985, but it's hard to tell if something came out yesterday or in 2005

    ReplyDelete

    Siri took her torch.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I thought it was going to suck, but the trailer totally sucked me in. I'm so glad they are embracing the time travel and alien aspects of their universe fully. Arrow was so grounded in reality, but ever since The Flash came around, they are slowly upping the ante. Only thing they've done wrong is to not tie all of these (Supergirl, Gotham, Arrowverse) together but I have a feeling that they will have a Crisis On Infinite Earths arch in a couple of years that could them all in as parallel universes.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I once read an article about Pau Gasol wanting to be a doctor, it made me strongly dislike him.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Superman also requires a lot of special effects, which TV shows can't afford.

We'll see how Supergirl handles it.

    ReplyDelete
  106. cabspaintedyellowMay 14, 2015 at 6:14 PM

    ReplyDelete
  113. Gianna Michaels is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

And Sara Jay is the GOAT butterface. She's ugly as hell, but hot, if that makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  114. There just doesn't seem to be enough difference between Superman and Supergirl. Same origin, same costume/logo, same powers, just different gender.

    ReplyDelete
  115. The only Bond film I've ever seen is Skyfall.

    ReplyDelete
  116. cabspaintedyellowMay 14, 2015 at 6:16 PM

Skyfall also has the benefit of having one of the coolest opening sequences to go with it. Granted, the early bonds can't compare with their opening sequences, since they often seem tacky now. But still.

San Andreas. Reminds me of the last time Rock was in a movie where CA gets fucked up. People weren't fond of Southland Tales then, and they won't be now, even though the title is different.

I don't think I've ever been this floored by critical response to a movie. I've never been driven into the theater by reviews, but this was a movie I literally had no interest in before this inexplicable surge of critical enthusiasm for it.

    ReplyDelete

For me, GTAIV and San Andreas are neck-and-neck, although I'm leaning more towards the former, despite the "two different piles of shit" endings.

    ReplyDelete
  156. So who do you guys think is going to end up beating Cean for the U.S. Title? I honestly can't wait for his feud to Rusev to end so he could just focus on the open challenge story full time. Have his opponents at PPV's be suprises. I think a debuting Joe in a super smark city could be a good idea. Maybe Sami gets a second shot and wins or even Kevin Owens.

They're one of the big appeals of the game, for me. Rockstar Games have some of the best stories in the industry, full-stop. Red Dead Redemption is a masterpiece, in my opinion.

IV probably is my favorite. I actually cared about Niko whereas those other guys are just instruments of destruction.

    Balor.

They wouldn't have tried Sami if that's the plan and Owens is still developing presence right now so he's not in the plans yet.

GTA IV has Niko, who's the best character of all the franchise. GTASA has a better story and supporting cast (Cesar, Tenpenny, Sweet, Catalina, Ryder, Big Smoke, Toreno.)

I always laugh when people say they only play GTA to kill things and don't play the story. Because they're missing out.

  171. I'd like to see them have some fun with it every now and again. It doesn't have to be match of the night every time out. Break it up some.

Vice City did have an amazing cast though. Then again, so did San Andreas. They got top-shelf talent for that shit.

Niko story is fucking tragic, I was really sad in the end. I let Kate die. Niko is the only protagonist with an actual conscience.

In the same subject of Rockstar delivering on story, while LA Noire shit the bed in its back half, I can't even tell you how badly I want another one of those. I know we won't get it due to developer issues, but man, I played through that game so many times.
