    Repost from Daily Thread:

Austin to me is the undisputed king of wrestling podcasts. I'll take him and his wife bullshitting about Hershey the Wonder Dog and rapping to Nash about which toilet paper is more manly over Jericho, Piper or Flair anyday.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Austin's deadpan wife is the best

    ReplyDelete
  7. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:31 PM

She's pretty funny in her "no fuck given" attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 5:32 PM

I'm already liking these scenes with Steve at the army base. Jumps on the grenade without a second thought. "Grenade! Get away!"

    "He's still skinny"

    ReplyDelete
  9. Call me a cynic, but I am more inclined to believe the "Vince is losing his vision" rumor given the WWE's "defamation of character" reaction to it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jerichos equally good in my opinion, and actually on skill he's really the better broadcaster...

But yeah, listening to the World's Toughest Son of a Bitch getting needled by his wife about conditioning his beard is fantastic and hilarious

    ReplyDelete
  11. I said he was sick six months ago.

I am never wrong about these things.

    ReplyDelete
  12. whachatalkinbout justice?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:34 PM

Jericho doesn't miss a beat, but, while I should have been pissed about an episode with Nash and Austin debating which Uberfacts are bullshit, it was entertaining as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Why are you telling Jesus that?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 5:35 PM

She's just really attractive in Cap The First Avenger lol.

    ReplyDelete
  16. To me that was far and away his worst show, I'd have rather heard his wife or Cort for an hour if Nash had literally nothing to say

    ReplyDelete
  17. The show was neat to watch but it's really just needless filler.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I like that scene, along with how he got the flag.

    ReplyDelete
  19. You haven't seen this film before? I loved it. As we discussed before, Chris Evans owns this role.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:36 PM

I liked it. Just two buddies riffing back and forth for an hour. Not his best show by far, but I wasn't bored by it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I just got home and Cavs up 20 after 1. Hockey it is!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 5:36 PM

I have, it's just been a long time. I'm going through all the MCU movies.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:37 PM

I was gonna watch O's and Mets, buy figured the Bulls game would be more entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bulls/Cavs feels like it should be in the Conf. Finals. Washington or Atl is going to be a let down in the next round.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Macklin's going through Cap 1. I've always been a big fan of that movie, probably only trails Iron Man 1 in terms of a solo-character driven MCU movie.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:38 PM

Switching to Rangers/Caps until movie time.

    ReplyDelete
  27. When I get sick of wrestling I'm gonna run through the MCU movies starting with Iron-Man. I saw that in theaters when it came out but didn't pay a lick of attention.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yeah I'm flip flopping between BAL/NYM and Rangers/Caps, since the TB series is 2-0.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 5:39 PM

Damn you are a copy cat! Everybody rips off Macklin.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It was awesome watching RDJ just own the role

    ReplyDelete
  31. Still has my vote as best MCU movie.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:39 PM

TB is gonna sweep. Calling it now.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Is there anyone here I can steck the dack against?

    ReplyDelete
  34. It gives you great backstory to Winter Soldier, not to mention just feels like watching a Raiders of the Lost Ark or Rocketeer type movie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:41 PM

Rangers/Blues prediction isn't gonna happen, Rangers/Blackhawks may not happen either, if NYR isn't careful. I wanna see Calgary/Washington now, just for something completely different.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yeah you could feel the Rocketeer thumbprints from Joe Johnston all over Cap, not to mention he was the head of FX on Raiders

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jericho has stupid shit though, like "Egypt" and cow belling.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:42 PM

And pagayy instead of page. Dude tries too hard for my liking.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Just goes to show Marvel could tap the right director to give the movie the right feel

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, another friend of mine is pregnant with her second kid.

It's like a sickness going around, and I'm the stereotypical "focusing on his career" guy.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:43 PM

Cap 1 was great for all those reasons. But, I'm a WWII dork, so there ya go.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And now Bradshaw randomly turns on Zeb!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Same, most of my friends are married and/or have kids and I'm just loafing in the couch with my cat after work every night

    ReplyDelete
  47. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:47 PM

Did he ever do Cap at Wrestlemania?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:48 PM

Against Cody? I was gonna say he did Avatar but, that was 26 against Punk wasn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Don't know what part of Community or Arrested Development made them think "get us those guys for Cap 2" but I'm glad they did

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yeah. I think he also did The Flash for WM 20

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yeah because I remember he had to climb out of his hole when his entrance spring malfunctioned

    ReplyDelete
  52. Daredevil at 19

    ReplyDelete
  53. Which is exactly the same level of dumb as "National Treasure" and bow hunting talk

I get everyone's dick is hard to hate Jericho because...whatever...but I still dig the giy

  54. "Heeeey Bucky"

    ReplyDelete

Yes. Best/Worst was Silver Surfer against Chavo at Summerslam, with a beer gut and the paint kept running.

    ReplyDelete
  56. *whips off Winter Soldier mask*

    I'm Gene Parmesan!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:51 PM

I don't necessarily hate him but, I'll take Austin over him most days. Jericho's interviews are usually good, the 2 part with Lance Storm was great.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Best one was The Phantom at Halloween Havoc against Eddie

    ReplyDelete
  59. Definitely up there

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hated Cap 1, somewhere in those montages is an interesting movie but I guess they didn't feel right showing us THAT

For me it's the second bottom on the list right above Guardians

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:53 PM

Ranked above Guardians? Guardians last? We're all entitled to our own opinions but, yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Sounds ideal. Cats are better than kids anyways. They are quiet and clean themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  63. The montages were a throwback to the old 30s serials, though. It also showed that Cap had been fighting in this war for longer than a few battles. The montages were to showcase that he became this amazing super soldier and fought these amazing battles all through Europe.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Guardians was a crap movie with nostalgia piled on top to trick people into thinking it's good.

At the end we don't even know what any of the characters powers are...amazing origin.

Also, the climax of te movie is....friendship.

    ReplyDelete
  65. What are you favorite MCU movies?

    ReplyDelete
  66. If they threw their weight behind it though and did a winter soldier origin though???

    ReplyDelete
  67. And any of one those battles would've been more interesting than what we got

    ReplyDelete
  68. Aside from the music, what nostalgia? These were all original characters - certainly original for movie audiences.

And what do you mean the character powers? Aside from Groot and Ronan, no one really had any powers.

    ReplyDelete
  69. 1) A1
    2) IM1
    3) Cap2

After that they're kind of mix and match, like...I can't make a distinction between stuff like IM2 and Thor...they're equally alright

    ReplyDelete
  70. But would they have moved the story forward? No. And that's the point. Besides, you didn't think the mission where he lost Bucky was interesting?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Batista is super strong...or maybe he's not...who knows really

Same with the woman, she may be enhanced, maybe not, the 2 hour origin movie didn't really care to explain lol

    ReplyDelete
  72. Don't get him started, Marv is the outlier on GOTG

    ReplyDelete
  73. Iron Man: ***
    The Incredible Hulk: ***
    Iron Man 2: **
    Thor: **
    Captain America: **3/4
    The Avengers: ***1/2
    Iron Man 3: ***
    Thor: The Dark World: **1/2
Captain America - Winter Soldier: ***1/4

  74. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 5:59 PM

Off to see Avengers. Take it easy, fuckers.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Nowhere did the movie showcase or hint that Drax was strong. A tough fighter, yeah, but Ronan took him down like a jobber. Gamora wasn't enhanced, she was just a master assassin. Nebula was the same, just enhanced with bionics.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 5:59 PM

    Take it sleazy!

    ReplyDelete
  77. http://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/34wuji/i_believe_vince_mcmahon_is_going_blind/

I suppose, in retrospect, being a publicly owned company they would need to rush to discredit this though if untrue.

    ReplyDelete
  78. What stops Avengers going the full monty for you?

    ReplyDelete
  79. Jonathan MeisnerMay 6, 2015 at 6:00 PM

    That's later with the missus.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I dom't hate Jericho at all, but those two things are cringe inducing.

    ReplyDelete
  81. What was that based on back then? I don't even remember seeing him in the public eye at that point. Or was that why? Just curious

    ReplyDelete
  82. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:01 PM

Speaking of Marvel films, did they edit out a line in the home release of Guardians of the Galaxy?
In the scene when Groot sprouted those light up buds and when asked how did he do it, I clearly remember Peter saying "I think I know the answer, he grew...." when watching that film in theaters. Yet when I saw it again on DVD months later, it sounded like they dubbed the line over to make Peter say "I think I know the answer, I am Groot..."

    ReplyDelete
  83. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:01 PM

    Enjoy.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Having seen it twice in theatres, the line was always the latter.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Gotcha. There are still a couple MCU films I haven't seen. I guess I'll just wait for all 6 phases to conclude, and spend like $600 on a massive boxset.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Out of a wrestling five-snowflake scale

    Iron Man- ****3/4
    The Avengers- ****3/4
    GOTG- ****1/2
    Captain America: TWS- ****1/4
    Avengers: AoU- ***3/4
    Captain America- ***1/2
    Iron Man 3- ***1/2
    Iron Man 2- ***1/4
    Thor: TDW- ***1/4
    Thor- ***
    Incredible Hulk- **3/4

    ReplyDelete
  87. That's the other shitty part of that movie, a villain that can destroy worlds yet only uses his "throw them back a few feet" power because....no reason really

    ReplyDelete
  88. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:03 PM

Really? I thought it was the other, it was dirtier and funnier.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 6:03 PM

I'm going off the ***** scale too. For clarity lol.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Not a fan of Emma in any aspect really. Gotta think she will be cut whenever they make another round of those.

    ReplyDelete
  91. *shrug* If there's one flaw in the Marvel movies, it's the villains. A lot of them have been pretty ho-hum. Roman just joins that list. Really, it wasn't his movie, anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  92. There were awful tornadoes in Oklahoma earlier. Insurance estimates that there was tens of dollars worth of damage.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Plus it helps differentiate some of the three star stuff for me.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Not at all, I don't care for te goofy villain, I don't care for the nazi crap, I don't care for an evil army with a two handed salute lol

    It's all bad, that flick

    ReplyDelete
  95. Shelton BenjaminMay 6, 2015 at 6:04 PM

    Marv's achy boners

I'm trying to avoid using half stars unless necessary.

    **=meh
    ***=good
    ****=great
    *****=greatest

    ReplyDelete
  97. Dude, it's WW2 and Cap's origin. Of COURSE it's going to involve Nazi's.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree because myself along with many others think it's one of the better Marvel movies. It's in the top 5 for me.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Enjoy, dickhead!

    ReplyDelete
  99. So they have no powers at all then? But can suck up a stone with their friendship?

    Movie made no sense

    BUT SHE WAS HAWT

    ReplyDelete
  101. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:06 PM

Yeah, Ronan is like the bottom of the barrel Marvel villain.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Go report on my size and girth.

    ReplyDelete
  103. They explained that. It's because of Quill's father being non-human, so Quill is not 100% human, himself. Yeah, the power of friendship was silly, but the movie was a team movie, so it was a team effort.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Shelton BenjaminMay 6, 2015 at 6:06 PM

    ReplyDelete
  105. I don't know about that. Iron Monger wasn't very good, either. Well, the final fight wasn't, anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Enjoy, my friend

    ReplyDelete
  107. That and Star Lord isn't 100% human, so there's something not yet revealed that allowed him to hold it without being blown apart. We have to wait till Maury tells us who is his father

    ReplyDelete

    But, Jeff Bridges man...

    ReplyDelete
  110. Enjoy it, jabroni

    ReplyDelete
  111. True. The Dude did make it more enjoyable, at least. He was still written as Generic Evil Corporate Guy, either way.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Shelton BenjaminMay 6, 2015 at 6:08 PM

Enjoy, this batch of fresh baked cookies!

    ReplyDelete
  113. What I like about him though is that the film credibly builds his friendship with Tony and Pepper so they don't look like idiots when it turns out he's evil

    ReplyDelete
  114. Absolutely Anything looks pretty decent. Basically, a British version of Bruce Almighty starring Simon Pegg.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Welp, I'm gonna go continue watching Marvel movies myself. Doing it a bit slower than Sir Burt because I've been busy with other stuff. I'm about halfway through Iron Man 3, which is still pretty good in my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  116. She will find a way to steal the fan's hearts.

    ReplyDelete
  117. You mean it hit your house? Wait, that report would not cite damages but improvements.

    My bad.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Screw it, tonight I'm joining on the Marvel binge watch, since I'm getting a little weary of binge watching Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Loved it up until extremis pepper

    ReplyDelete
  120. I don't care for the way they did it, it's just so cartoony

    ReplyDelete
  121. Girth is a size.

    ReplyDelete
  122. JR's home alone is worth at least that much.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 6:11 PM

Jeff Bridges was really lame as a villain I thought. It was rushed and his dialogue in the suit was pretty bad.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I didn't mind that. They'd been trying to slowly build Pepper up so she wasn't just a damsel in distress again.

    ReplyDelete
  125. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:11 PM

If I have to rate from highest to lowest, here is my list.
    1. Winter Soldier
    2. The Avengers
    3. GotG
    4. Iron Man
    5. Captain America
    6. Age of Ultron
    7. Iron Man 2
    8. Thor
    9. Iron Man 3
    10. Dark World
    11. Incredible Hulk.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Do people watch non-superhero movies anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  127. This looks important! *yanks wires*

    ReplyDelete
  128. That's more the thing. The build up with him was fine, even if he was still more or less Generic Evil Corporate Guy. But once in the suit, it all kind of went down the flusher.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Yeah, it's always a bit jarring when I read movie reviews using the **** scale. I'm so used to the ***** scale, I usually have to stop and realize they use a different scale for movies.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yeah but after summer is over

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think it was Hulk for me. At the end of Incredible Hulk, he seems to have the beast under control and defeats The Abomination. He runs from the scene and runs overseas. Fine. Then he comes back and he can't be Hulk because he'll tear things apart and kill everyone...BUT...he has it under control AGAIN and people can tell him what to do.

And this continues into Ultron where he has things under control -- but he's afraid to turn because he'll "hurt people" -- even when he KNOWS that Witch doesn't have him under control.

Pick a damn lane. Just have Banner control the beast. In the comics, Hulk can talk in complete sentences.

    ReplyDelete
  132. ...I'm not sure I understand the question.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Trailer disasters being a priority for you is not surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Is Dark World the other Thor movie?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Rewatched winter soldier over weekend... Still awesome... Still loved the elevator "before we begin, does anyone want to get out?"

    ReplyDelete
  136. They just do nothing for me, even in summer. But I am looking forward to Jurassic World.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Or their wallets

    ReplyDelete
  138. Especially if he had a case of his BBQ sauce in his room.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 6:14 PM

The first half of Iron Man 3 was on its way to best solo Marvel movie IMO. Mandarin gets under Tony's skin, blows up his house and casts him out. The turn is controversial. Personally it has grown on me. My issue with the second half of the movie is that Guy Pearce's character SUCKED and was uber un-interesting while Mandarin was more interesting--even after the turn.

And Pepper winning the fight sucked.

They just needed a better secondary villain if they were going to do the Mandarin reveal or have the Mandarin thing be a double bluff. Because I say again, Pearce's character was lame as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  140. See, that doesn't bother me. Norton even said in the movie that Hulk can't really be controlled. Aimed, at best, but that's it. Hulk is still a rampaging, uncontrollable monster for the most part, so he's still dangerous.

Plus, the first time he hulks out in Avengers, it was also resulting from Loki and the sceptre nudging his mind.

    ReplyDelete
  141. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:14 PM

    Oh yes....

    ReplyDelete
  142. Eh, could have done that with her in the armor instead earlier... Plus, that was a perfect time to do a meaningful death

    ReplyDelete
  143. Didn't know there was a John Cena dead meme.

    ReplyDelete
  144. That's kinda bothersome too there's obviously SOMETHING going on with Banner but we never get to see it

    ReplyDelete
  145. Shelton BenjaminMay 6, 2015 at 6:15 PM

Question about one of the Iron Man's:

Forget which one, but the ads showed Tony jumping out of the plane saying "miss me!" to Pepper.

It never showed up in the movie itself.

I hate when they do that.

Also, fun fact: I never knew of her existence in the comics till the movies, even though I read it throughout the 90's.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Burt Macklin, Man Without FearMay 6, 2015 at 6:15 PM

Some people are just Damsels in distress. Pepper ain't a fighter. She has been given enough in the 3 Iron Man movies that she doesn't feel like she's useless or weak. She just shouldn't be involved in the climaxatory brawl that defeats the villain, IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Then I have seen 7 of those pictures.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Michael Cole with the loaded question!

    ReplyDelete
  149. If I had to rank Woody Allen films, limited to top ten... it'd be:
    1. Annie Hall
    2. Hannah and Her Sisters
    3. Manhattan
    4. Crimes and Misdemeanors
    5. Midnight in Paris
    6. Match Point
    7. Deconstructing Harry
    8. Interiors
    9. Purple Rose of Cairo
    10. Radio Days

    ReplyDelete
  151. My Avengers listing:

    1) Winter Soldier
    2) Guardians of the Galaxy
    3) Avengers
    4) Captain America 1
    5) Age of Ultron
    6) Thor
    7) Iron Man
    8) Iron Man 3
    9) Dark World
    10) Iron Man 2
    11) Hulk

The top three could easily be interchangeable to fit in any of the first three spots.

    ReplyDelete
  152. My favorite thing about Pepper is that they never explain the nickname. Her real name is Virginia.

    ReplyDelete
  153. "Yep Mode" Abeyance Brown ©May 6, 2015 at 6:17 PM

Yep, never made it in the film. I thought he yelled back at her, "You complete me!"
How do you think I felt when Ultron didn't directly say to the camera "There are no strings on me" like he did in the trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Holy shit what a dickhead!

  155. I've seen nine of those... Was magic in the moonlight his?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Never seen a Woodie Allen movie, I think because y the time I was of the right age he was already famous for molesting

    ReplyDelete
  157. I thought how Ultron did it in the movie was MUCH creepier.

Everyone is stealing my thunder with these MCU rankings! I can't even give my whole list until I'm done with the rewatch.

    Currently:

    1. Iron Man ****
    2. Thor ****
    3. Iron Man 2 ***
    4. Hulk **

I've not seen nor even heard of any of those lol.

  162. These lists are stupid. Everybody know Highlander won the Academy Award for Best Movie Ever Made.

  163. Annie Hall is the one that beat out Star Wars for the Best Picture Oscar. It's quite good.

    ReplyDelete

    2) Avengers: Age of Ultron
    3) Avengers
    4) Iron Man
    5) Guardians of the Galaxy

We needed that creepy version of "I Got No Stings" somewhere, I know you hear the regular version for like a second but we needed the better version.

  166. Well, actually, wasn't it because the barge they were on blew up and Hulk and Widow ended up below deck? Banner was struggling on the floor and Widow tried to tell him not to be angry from being hurt.

He really wasn't "under control" of Loki's scepter. On top of that, he wanted to hurt Widow...but then, with NO explanation, he's able to stand side by side with the other heroes (even with Widow -- the person he wanted to hurt) and fight and listen to Captain America.

It just seemed so selective to me...but, eh. Still enjoyable.

  167. I love the mythology of it. Before, you'd just get a couple of movies then a hard reboot with no conclusion to the previous story. Now we have plotting and arcs with endgames in mind; it's like following a TV show but on the big screen, with every episode having a $200m budget.

  168. Magic in the Moonlight was one of his, but unfortunately, not one of his better ones.

  169. The first Woody Allen movie I ever saw was Curse of the Jade Scorpion. I've seen others since, like Manhattan and Annie Hall, but Curse holds a spot in my heart just because it was the first one.

Plus, it has my favourite line in any movie:
"You know what they call someone who thinks everyone's out to get them, don't you?"
"Of course I do. It's called perceptive!"

  172. I saw ze Highlander movie! It was shit!

    ReplyDelete
  173. As you can see by my lists, I like movies that change the game a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if marvel cracked some subliminal shit...every rewatch, I like each one better than the last time

    ReplyDelete
  175. I have seen 7 MCU pictures. I don't particularly remember any of them but I have a generally good impression in my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  176. I'm not even like...against molesting and raping a girl invited into your home under the auspices of caring for her...

It just kinda kept me from ever checking out the movies.

If they could have gotten him for a second movie they should have waited to reveal his villainy to Tony and save that for a second movie. Having Tony just go back to where he was kidnapped and defeat the main guy in Tony's prototype is a good climax. Then in his dying breath the guy tells Tony who hired him. DUH DUH DUH!

Btw, "the guy" is the main guy who kidnapped Tony and held him in the cave. Can't think of his name and don't wanna describe him as terrorist.

  178. God that was bad.

  179. That was what turned him, of course, yeah, but his mind was already weakened from spending all that time with the sceptre. He nearly lost it until they managed to point out he was holding it. Then it all went to hell when Barton blew up the ship.

But yeah, he hulked up because of the explosion and landing below deck, but Loki had already weakened his mind. They never outright say it, but it's more in the visuals before the explosion.

  180. Huh, that one I actually liked, but I'm a sucker for Emma

  181. Someone mentioned SW up for Best Picture; I always forget Alec Guinness was up for Best Supporting Actor as Obi Wan as well, mainly because I only think of his resentment of the films.

I'm reading a novel. How iPad

    ReplyDelete
  183. I like how Ewan McGregor even said he hated doing those movies.

    Obi-Wan, the role everyone hates.

    ReplyDelete
  184. I love the slow build of the elevator getting more goons on each stop

    ReplyDelete
  185. I had no idea that movie was up for best picture, I'd always figured the 70's had good films and that schlock would've never gotten nominated.

    What went wrong in 1977?

    ReplyDelete
  186. Well, when you've directed something like 50 films, including a few masterpieces, it's hard to crack the top.

    ReplyDelete
  187. The elevator and the cargo ship, THAT is what a fucking super soldier is all about right thur
