Southeastern legends reflect on Continental Championship Wrestling

Hey Scott, longtime poster on the blog. I was hoping you could give some exposure to this feature story I wrote for my newspaper, talking with several legends of Southeastern Championship/Continental Championship Wrestling about their time in Dothan, Ala.
Have you sent this to Karl Stern yet?  I'll pass it along for you on Twitter because this is right up his alley.

  2. Also, here's the companion piece I finished tonight, which has some more in-depth quotes and some vintage videos to go along with them.

  3. Karl Stern's 7 part history of wrestling is a pretty great listen. Definitely feel like it was an Easter egg I stumbled across with my Observer subscription.

  6. Alabama. Same sex marriage is still held up in the courts, but groups of men were gathering in sweltering barns to watch other sweaty men fight until one was nude way back in the 50s!

  7. Thanks for putting this up. Continental was always a solid territory and I did find Charlie Platt to be a criminally underrated announcer.
