It's been obvious for a while now (to me at least) that the blame for all of the negative things about WWE currently falls on Vince's shoulders. It's been said for years now that he refuses to let any one man be bigger than the brand, thus the wrestlers are practically neutered at the door. His process sucks but I understand the intention behind it. This is isn't changing anytime soon so I'm curious why people are still complaining and groaning about it. I know the future looks bright for Vince's inevitable departure in Triple H but NXT aside, him going over Sting left me highly doubtful about how much will actually change. These people have made the wrestling business their entire world and I don't think it's possible for any of them to ever be objective about it. What are your thoughts on that?
Late night post-Payback post! I think the events of Payback, where stuff happened and, you know, that thing in the main event occurred with Kane and everything, will sum up everything you need to know about the product.
"him going over Sting left me highly doubtful about how much will actually change."
ReplyDeletelolololololololol
I had a similar reaction
ReplyDeleteTakeover is going to suck on Wednesday because of that time HHH buried Booker T.
ReplyDeleteScott's E-mailers seems to be skewing either
ReplyDeletea) younger or younger
b) dumber and dumber
c) both
Scott's recap of Payback is like the WWF Superstars recap of the Hogan/Andre rematch the day after it aired.
ReplyDeleteYeah like Sting should have really went over for wasting 8 years in TNA.
ReplyDeleteWhen did NXT backlash become a thing? Vince has never heard of it because he's too busy pushing Kane and scouting "celebrities" by watching old Jon Lovitz movies and Kevin Dunn has never seen a WWE developmental show in his life because it's "rasslin".
ReplyDeleteCalm down people, NXT is safe.

Fuck off and eat a pallet of dicks, spammer. For $89 an hour, you should be accustomed to that.
ReplyDeleteI can already see the bizzaro world email had Sting won. "When will WWE realize giving wins to all of these part timers isn't good for the future of the business?"
ReplyDeleteNo, Sting should have went over, because he is a bigger legend than even the Undertaker. If WWE doesn't admit that something from the outside is bigger than them, they will never have someone who would have the success like Hogan or Austin had.
ReplyDeletePart timers like Triple H? Or the Undertaker?
ReplyDeleteHHH and Undertaker are part timers but are strictly WWE. Sting was a guy who came in for a one shot deal with no long term plan. Its not quite the same.
ReplyDeleteshit I'd eat a pallet of dicks for 89 an hour
ReplyDeletelollllllllll!!
ReplyDeleteHey, try not to suck any dick on your way to the parking lot...Hey, hey you, get back here.
ReplyDeleteI understand the emailers confusion. Idiots supposedly write the show yet everyone here watches what these idiots write....the saddest thing is that they beat you over the head EVERY week all show long with how its a tv SHOW, its ENTERTAINMENT, its anything BUT wrestling. Yet instead of saying "you know I'm going to find a wrestling show to watch. People keep watching this badly acted out tv show hoping it becomes a wrestling show even though they tell you every week thats never going to happen again.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I think I just continue watching out of some morbid curiosity of how bad it's really going to get. I take more pleasure seeing WWE fail at this point than succeed, which is pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteJust like Mr T, Mayweather, Akebono, Butterbean, lawrence Taylor etc.
ReplyDeleteHaha. She upvoted herself!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how kids(like under 13) feel about this. All the newer guys are treated like doofuses and losers. The 40+ guys like Kane, Big Show, HHH etc. beat the crap out of anyone under 40. And whenever there's a really big show like WrestleMania, a bunch of guys in their 40's, 50's and 60's come in and get all the good spots, while the current "entertainers" are bumped to the pre-show.
ReplyDeleteIt's one thing for the older fans who actually watched Hogan 30 years ago, Rock 15 years ago etc. But if you're a kid who's just become part of the "WWE Universe", what kind of message are you getting?
And why don't they have long term plans? Sting could have been the new GM, he could have challenged Seth Rollins at ER or something like that. He could have hold the ratings up while all the other part timers went to their vacation...
ReplyDeleteNot everyone here watches the weekly shows bro.
ReplyDeleteUh, it's not possible for anyone to ever be objective about the thing that keeps them employed. That's not what objectivity is about.

Aren't you a treat.
ReplyDeleteStill a better commenter than Abeyance.
ReplyDeleteJon Lovitz starred in movies?
ReplyDeleteThis will surely work. I suggest you waste all your free time on just these comments.
ReplyDeleteNo one in the Wrestlemania main event was in their 40's. Big Show just lost a feud to Reigns. Kane is a stooge who hasn't come up on anyone in a long time. HHH has been losing to the young guys for a couple of years now.
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching RAW religiously years ago and stopped watching all together earlier this year. I feel I have become a better person of it.
ReplyDeleteI mean, I know the EXACT format of each show of this point. 20 minute heel promo to start, 7 minute random tag, another long promo, shitty divas match, nice little singles match with 2 guys who dont get pushed correctly which makes the match pointless, another long promo, horrible announcing, PG promo with toy advertisement with Adam Rose vs. Titus O'Neil or something, shitty squash match, Long promo and of course a handicap match as the main event thats like 2 stars involving the authority.
I am missing NOTHING
Am I right or am I right
That's a helluva payback review there Scott.
ReplyDeleteI bet kane was the one picked by vince to be his pitch hitter in the sack with Linda. How else can you explain him being in a major story line in 2015?
ReplyDeleteTriple H going over Sting left me highly doubtful about race relations, not just in places like Ferguson and Baltimore, but nationwide.
ReplyDeleteTriple H going over Sting left me highly doubtful about the country's dependency on foreign oil.
ReplyDeleteTriple H going over Sting left me highly doubtful about the state and future of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's marriage.
ReplyDeleteI imagine Scott wrote the Kane bit any time in the last 5 years.... Decent odds it would have been true
ReplyDeleteI've heard To Kill a Mockingbird was a good Harper/Lee promo...
ReplyDelete...
...
I'll show myself out.
"him going over Sting left me highly doubtful about how much will actually change."
ReplyDeleteThis is an aggressively stupid thought for so many reasons.
HHH is a guy who will continue to try to push himself as someone other than "guy who worked with the guy who drew the money", and that's just the way it is. We can only hope once the WWE Politburo gets that across to the younger marks that he backs off. The real sad part is we're all kind of waiting for Vince to head off to the retirement home.
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this straight -- this e-mailer puts aside the year-long greatness that NXT has been and Triple H's fantastic efforts of making NXT into a viable, interesting, and exciting touring brand -- as well as the one thing that's probably keeping Vince's Network alive -- and dismisses it because Sting lost a match to Triple H.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't it be the other way around?
Triple H isn't the only person running NXT. Don't be so naive.
ReplyDeleteTangent: I really enjoyed Triple H-Sting as a gimmicky brawl. I know we're not supposed to do anything but clutch pearls and be shocked that Triple H didn't put over the 60 year old, up and comer but I don't care. That match was insanely fun.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it too. I have no idea how to, y'know, "rate" it. But it was fun. That's exactly the type of old-timer match that belongs at WrestleMania: a clear nostalgia trip that isn't supposed to be taken super-seriously (though they did build to it as such, which was kind of a weird juxtaposition, but whatever) and is clearly out of the way of the real main events.
ReplyDeleteEverything's always so black and white when it comes to Sting. It doesn't have to be that way, either. I remember when Sting represented people of all colors.
ReplyDeleteIt might have been entertaining as a gimmicky brawl to some, but what was the endgame of the months and months of lead-up? Sting interrupts and stops the Authority multiple times during important matches (Survivor Series, that tag match to get some guys jobs back for Cena, etc) Then they have their big blowoff match that ends with Triple H hitting Sting over the back of the head with a sledgehammer then 3 minutes later Sting is up and shakes hands with Triple H. It made zero sense.
ReplyDeleteIt was great fun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't say he was the only person. NXT also has Regal, A-Train, Sara Del Rey etc. and a while group of backstage producers. But Triple H is overseeing NXT and has been instrumental in its success. OVW, FCW, and all the other developmental leagues never had this kind of success.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right about Tenay. He would've totally yammered over Jericho's appearance when he just stood there. "Chris Jericho, former cruiserweight champion, actually performed in Japan for many years and was a tag team partner of etc etc etc etc"
ReplyDeleteI agree. I also have no issue with Triple H winning. My issue is with them being all buddy-buddy afterward. It seemed out of place for both Triple H's character and Sting's character.
ReplyDeleteBut I still loved the match for the overbooked brawl that it was.
They also didn't have the types of funding, facilities, and staff working with them like NXT does. NXT is treading down the path that WWE is at and has been for awhile now. Maybe 1 good match a show and the rest is a pile of garbage leading up to a big show. Maybe I just don't see the appeal of NXT. I got into it for a couple weeks, but after that it felt like the same show over and over again.
ReplyDeleteFCW had some tremendous matches, by the way.
It feels like an old Looney Tunes cartoon where the coyote falls off a cliff and is fine in the next scene.
ReplyDeleteTriple H is generally really bad about doing the right thing in his own angles, but really good about it when it comes to everyone else. Simple as that. He has tremendous knowledge, but can't get over his own ego.
ReplyDeleteScott, you still can't count out those _Denver Broncos._
ReplyDeleteThere's a huge difference between "I personally don't like NXT" and "NXT isn't a success". It's arguable that NXT is the only real success to come out of the botched WWE Network.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, FCW had some killer matches. But it was never given the push that NXT is enjoying because it's doubtful the product as it was could stand on its own the way NXT can.
Yeah, but Undertaker(who won), HHH(who won), Sting etc. are all older guys. Rock got to cut a promo, raking away match time. Even Lesnar, who went in as World Champion is a a part-timer, who was last a full-time wrestler in 2003/early 2004. While the tag champs, and lots of other guys were bumped to the pre-show.
ReplyDeleteLast year's Mania gave us the infamous Run of Bootista.
The big news is that Mania 32 will feature "any legend who can still go" in order to try and fill out the venue.
All the time we're told how guys like HHH, Rock etc. are much better than any of the current group of losers. In fact, the only current guy who gets a decent push is Roman Reigns, the one guy fans don't care about.
I loved seeing a 56-year-old guy and a 45-year old guy getting a prime Mania spot, while most of the younger guys(including the Tag Team Champions) were bumped to the pre-show.
ReplyDeleteAnd then having HHH come out AGAIN to tell everyone how great he is, only to be confronted by a 43-year-old guy who was last a full-time active wrestler in when, 2002? 2001?
No way is Sting bigger than Taker.
ReplyDeleteScott are you doing a Payback rant?
ReplyDeleteNXT has also had the Network to air their weekly shows. One could argue that NXT essentially is FCW just with more resources.
ReplyDeleteFCW was only around for 5 years and has given the WWE 10x more talent than NXT has, granted NXT has only been around for 3 years or so. The point of developmental is to get guys ready for the WWE, but NXT seems now like it is trying to be branded as its own thing. That's cool I guess. There's more than a handful of talent in NXT right now that has spent way too much time in NXT and should've been called up months if not years ago.
I thought this was already his Payback rant.
ReplyDeleteHe's the executive for it though. He may not be doing everything but he's the one fighting for resources and choosing the people who are doing everything. Hell of a job so far.
ReplyDeleteI hated everything about the match. Thought it was atrocious and made Sting look awful
ReplyDeleteBro?
ReplyDeleteYea, but Rock cutting a promo is awesome
ReplyDeleteBecause since about 2004, WWE has made sure that any and all new talent who isn't related to someone already famous will NEVER get over, and at the first sign that the fans are reacting to them, will get put on a humiliating losing streak.
ReplyDeleteSo they end up with the sad fact that the youngest guy is genuinely over is John Cena. Sure, there are other guys who are kinda over, but not big-time over. Some of them COULD have been big-time over, however WWE made damn sure they aren't.
And the only heels who are big-time over are those guys who were big-time over before 2005, guys like the Big Show and Kane. And it's unlikely that WWE can create genuine Main Event guys again, because they seem determined to make sure that they never have a true Superstar ever again. Except Roman Reigns, who is the Juggernaut, and the Future of WWE.
I keep pointing this out. I don't see what responding to a spammer accomplishes
ReplyDeleteI'm upset at the title "Vince Thoughts", then not seeing "WHATAMANEUVER, PAL! SETS HIM UP FOR THE RIDE OH YEAH BAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROP!!! UP AND.... DOOOOWWWN!!! YOU'RE FIRED!"
ReplyDeleteBut how many tickets did that sell? How many more people bought the Network? How many people watched RAW the next night because of it?
ReplyDeleteAnd how sad it is that one Old Guy beats another Old Guy, then a third Old Guy who never even wrestled comes out and humiliates the Old Guy that won earlier?
Reading your comments is like listening to JBL on commentary. He'll go to any length to twist words and situations to be able to disagree with everyone present.
ReplyDelete"Oh noez, he but some 60 year old in the only match he's won in the last 2 years!"
ReplyDeleteI guess we're supposed to dismiss the accomplishments of every successful CEO/business leader because other people also work for the same companies.
ReplyDeleteColonel Sanders? Fuck that guy. He's not the only person who operated the chicken fryer! Don't be so naive.
What did Bill Gates ever create?!
ReplyDeleteSting was world champion, before the Undertaker existed! Ok, maybe not bigger, but he is close. If he went to WWF when WCW closed, he could be what Taker is today.
ReplyDeleteCalling the Rock a "43 year-old guy" is an understatement. The Rock is one of the 3 biggest stars in WWE history. If he wants to show up, you give him some time (just not as much time as he got at Mania this year, his segment went way too long).
ReplyDeleteFlawless logic. My football team playing shitty bugs the hell out of me but I'm not going to move on or accept it, I'm going to keep watching and hope they get better.
ReplyDeleteThese days nothing outside of WWE is bigger than them though.
ReplyDelete"If you've got a business—you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen."
ReplyDelete#THANKSOBAMA
Yeah, I agree that Rock being there = Good Thing.
ReplyDeleteRock eating up that much time = Bad Thing.
Hey look at that, we found a middle ground for our two differing opinions. I don't think that has ever happened in the history of the internet.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing sadder than the fans overreacting to HHH beating Sting is the guy who booked himself to beat Sting to prove a fifteen year-old point.
ReplyDeleteEven a brief 5 minute Shield reunion was great stuff.
ReplyDeleteYeah but the people he's choosing aren't working out. The Wyatts have been largely a flop since separating and people seeing through the fact that Bray's weekly promos haven't evolved in over a year. The Shield member were largely a product of FCW, not NXT. Adam Rose has been a jobber, even though many on this site said he would be a huge start just because of his entrance. Big E was a part of FCW before NXT and he has been largely a flop so far but is starting to shine a bit as a tag champ. Bo Dallas has been a big flop but I'd say that is more booking than wrestling, but who thought he would be a big star anyways? Emma is a diva jobber. Paige, even though she's won the Divas title a few times, has been largely disappointing. Lucha Dragons are still too early into their call-up to tell if they will be any good, but most likely just pushed then tossed to the side just like Ascension was. Neville has won like 1 match since being called up, but has been in some very good matches. He could end up being a decent midcarder, but I think he deserves more. Rusev spent a little time in NXT before getting called up and will most likely end up a career midcarder or worse now that his feud with Cena is over.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost positive Rock went so long to try to kill time for Bray and Taker's entrances. Vince doesn't understand time zones.
ReplyDeleteBig E drinking his milk in anger after the tag team elimination chamber match was announced was pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteWe don't know if it was his call or not, and if you really think Vince would've let the face of WCW go over a big WWE star at their flagship show even if HHH wanted to lose, well...this is Vince we're talking about.
ReplyDeleteAnother solid outing from the WWE. Nothing too offensive on the PPV itself. The tag match on the preshow was, however, one of the most embarrassing things they've done in a while.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to win that many matches when you spend 20 minutes almost every week putting you and your wife over.
ReplyDeleteTriple H also happened to get all of his Kliq members a Mania paycheck as well. Also, got the New Age Outlaws a tag title run and Mania paychecks in 2014.
ReplyDeleteHe also tried to get his buddy Batista a Mania Main Event and World Title run in 2014.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Rybacks selling was better than usual. As far as Neville goes just make him IC champ at Elimination Chamber. Maybe do a unification match with Cena a few months down the road?
ReplyDeleteThose are all main roster problems. NXT doesn't exist to fix Raw. The fact that somebody sucks at running the pro team doesn't change the fact that Triple A is being run near perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI've liked their Neville booking so far. And he has been awesome in the ring.
ReplyDeletePeople make far too much of the HHH Sting match. If anything, HHH has proven he's willing to put over talent over these past few years. I'm not interested in the current product all that much, but there are certainly better arguments to pick at than him not putting over Sting at WM. In 2015.
ReplyDeleteThe I Quit match stole just about every gimmicky spot from the Austin-Dude Love and Rock-Mankind matches. And it still kinda sucked.
ReplyDeletehey
ReplyDeletehey WWE
hey WWE why'd you bring Neville up if you didn't know what you were going to do with him?
HHH isn't the guy writing and booking the shows.
ReplyDeleteIntroduce him to the audience. Get him over before a push.
ReplyDeleteThis guy gets it.
ReplyDeleteLet's note that this is Vince McMahon we're talking about, who has no problem sabotaging guys that don't fit his model of what a pro wrestling should be.
But when Triple A is supposed to be designed to make guys ready for the pro team and it doesn't do its job, how is that being run near perfectly?
ReplyDeleteMaybe as a fan it is cool to watch, but how would you like your favorite baseball team's Triple A team to win their title every season, but your favorite MLB team is in last place every year because the guys in the farm system aren't performing when they do get called up?
Anything from Payback worth checking out?
ReplyDeleteThe main event and the tag team title match.
ReplyDeleteSkip the divas tag.
ReplyDeleteBetween The Shield guys, Wyatt, Rusev and Neville, it feels like they are protecting guys way better than they used to as rookies.
ReplyDeleteThis is where the enhancement matches from the 1980s and 1990s really helped - they gave the audience a chance to get used to a talent, see the move set and learn what they're all about before they got into a program.
ReplyDeleteIn fairness though he also made Bryan look like a million bucks at WM and then reformed evolution in order to put over the shield right after that. I think people nit picking on HHH for these sorts of things aren't being objective
ReplyDeleteMain event
ReplyDeleteTag match
Dolph-Sheamus
All very good.
They introduced just about everyone that way and they turned out fine, or if they didn't, it was because they sucked anyway (Outback Jack, Cpl. Kirchner).
ReplyDeleteWhat was the point of him looking like all that cash at Mania if two weeks later on Raw he was running away scared of Kane?
ReplyDeleteYeah. I admit I was surprised that they haven't turned him into another midcard scrub thus far. I'm happy for him this is exactly how he should be used.
ReplyDeleteWas watching Payback on my phone at work, but called into a meeting before the end of the US Title match and didn't get back to it until right before the main event. I'm just happy I saw the triple power bomb to Orton, made the whole show worth it.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, was Elimination Chamber being put on the 31st for WWE to hope that those with the free subscription that are watching forget to cancel after the show ends at 11 PM and get rolled over into having to pay for June and beyond? If so, brilliant business move.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit! Austin is doing a Network podcast with Heyman. Nice.
ReplyDeleteIf only it could be 3 hours long...
And Heyman/Austin on June 1st is a plan to get you to subscribe in June
ReplyDeleteBecause Kane is a monster and the undead brother of the Undertaker. He's consistently in the main event which means he has to be great. Duh
ReplyDeleteI miss enhancement matches. At least then we were guaranteed that someone would hit their finishing maneuver, and the guy taking it would actually be pinned after one!
ReplyDeleteWHATAMANEUVER!
So Sheamus busted Ziggler open last night. This is what, the 3rd guy Sheamus has hurt since his big return?
ReplyDeleteSo how is it an indictment of the Triple A team if the manager of the pro team makes terrible decisions that lose games?
ReplyDeleteIf they were smart, the show would start at 9 pm and run until 12:01.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how big a star a guy is in the minor league, when he gets to the big time he always flops. So he was never properly prepared for life in the big leagues.
ReplyDeleteBecause that's all it was. Nothing connecting the spots. Just a bunch of laying around until the next foreign object spot. Like a New Jack match without the gore.
ReplyDeleteAnd June is also Money in the Bank, one of the historically best PPVs
ReplyDeleteDidn't watch it, but this moment from the Fatal Four Way match was very cool:
ReplyDeletehttps://gifsound.com/?gfycat=NastySpotlessHoopoe&v=pBI3lc18k8Q&s=4
"Okay, it's over now CANCEL!! QUICK!! C'MON, YOU CAN GO FASTER THAN THAT!"
ReplyDelete"I'm going as fast as I can! AHHHHHH!! Pop ups! THEY WON'T CLOSE!"
.
.
"Too late."
Dropkick
ReplyDelete"Do you want to quit?"
Snapmare
"Do you want to quit?"
Chop
"Do you want to quit?"
I don't really care because The Rock cut a promo
ReplyDeleteIt's like in the NBA when a team brings in highly touted lottery picks, but their coach is one of those crusty old farts who only wants a team full of veterans while barely giving the rookies and other guys playing time. Then when their confidence is utterly destroyed, they get traded to another team and , whaddaya know, they were actually damn good when given the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are right. This is clearly the fault of Triple H's NXT stewardship that Raw's writing and booking sucks.
ReplyDeleteThat's the kind of thinking that led to WCW going out of business.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think that type of match is old school, so they hammer home to the idiot newbie casual mark audience that it's an "I Quit" match.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Ziggler bust himself open headbutting Sheamus?
ReplyDeleteThey finally found a gimmick where Big E could naturally use his humor.
ReplyDelete"HART, WHADAYASAY????"
ReplyDeleteNot really, no. People love to see The Rock
ReplyDeleteThought Payback was a strong show, main event was excellent.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was when Cena yelled at him going through the wall and the referee asked him if he'd quit.
ReplyDeleteIf so, I stand corrected.
ReplyDeleteJUNE IS NOW FREE!!! Just kidding. But probably.
ReplyDeleteThey're gonna actually have to give people something worth watching every month! This can't be a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteWe aren't supposed to enjoy wrestling.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and Ziggler busted Sheamus open at King of the Ring.
ReplyDeleteI'm still somewhat convinced that Ziggler bladed himself. That second replay of the headbutt makes me go "hmmmmm...."
I've never seen the I Quit match Piper refereed. Is Piper really that awful in it?
ReplyDeleteUgh...that match was just...
ReplyDeleteI still don't believe Bob Backlund submitted. He in no way, shape, or form said the words "I Quit," unless "YARGGGGGAH!" is "I Quit" in Scottish or something.
ReplyDeleteNope, he didn't. But at that point I think everyone was just glad the match was over.
ReplyDeleteRyback breaking a rib seems like Karma. also Neville is being protected until they find a solid role for him? How about he starts beating people in matches and get pushed up the card
ReplyDeleteLarry Brown lol
ReplyDeleteHe is. It's Piper after 1992. It's bad.
ReplyDeletepretty distracting
ReplyDeleteCena breathes
ReplyDelete"Do you want to quit?"
Rusev stares
"Do you want to quit?"
Ref stubs own toe
"Do I want to quit?"
I like that they realized a Shield reunion while not a bad idea long term wouldn't make any sense and Ambrose and Reigns basically saying "Fuck this asshole" did a lot to rehabilitate their characters.
ReplyDeleteWho? Considering how many WWE fans are kids, and that Rock hasn't been a full-time performer for over a dozen years, how well do you think that went down with young fans?
ReplyDeleteBob Backlund also never submitted to the Iron Sheik. In my mind, he was WWF champion from 1978 through 1994.
ReplyDeleteIt went down really well, since The Rock is one of the biggest names in Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteMan, he stretched that 30-day rule to the limit.
ReplyDeleteI guess Dolph was here to show the world his brain fragments.
ReplyDeleteI still want to know if they had said "yes" would that have counted since they hadn't actually said "I Quit". the rules seem pretty fluid.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite section of that main event was Reigns vs Ambrose. That is going to be a hell of a dream match a couple Wrestlemanias from now.
ReplyDeleteThat's not telling a story, PAL!
ReplyDeleteBut in what time zone????
ReplyDelete:: That Guy ::
Best part was Ambrose's sudden "Fuck you" face to Rollins when Rollins tried to do the fist pose.
ReplyDeleteThey'll probably make June free also.
ReplyDeleteFor all its foibles, I actually liked the I Quit match last night...but I'm with y'all on the ending. That was just beyond stupid.
ReplyDeleteMain event, as usual, was good, but completely ignoring all the Kane story they had been building up was equally as stupid. No big summer angle (to ruin) this year, looks like we're just spinning wheels from big show to big show (and hopefully no Big Show........ah who am I kidding).
If NCAA champion Brock Lesnar could do it, why not NCAA Division II champion Bob Backlund?
ReplyDeleteIt's worth watching for how bad Piper is, how weird Backlund is and just how awful overall the match is.
ReplyDeleteEspecially the ending. I refuse to acknowledge #BRIEMODE being pinned.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the show last night. I hear it was a show that happened in a town somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe only one that matters! Greenwich Mean Time!
ReplyDeleteI love how politically correct about it you are "Enhancement talent".
ReplyDeleteSo once they figure out where Neville goes in the show, it's JOB CITY, BABAY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWay to believe the internet, smark.
ReplyDeleteEh, Big Show brought his working boots last PPV and disappeared from our tvs for a while like we wanted.
ReplyDeleteHe gets a pass for a couple months lol.
Great PPV, fun time on the BoD on the live thread. What a solid show!
ReplyDeleteHey, four out of the last six months were free. Why not another?
ReplyDeleteI don't want jobber to think I'm talking about him.
ReplyDeleteAmbrose is proof that once they get a guy over they can job him out like crazy and then put him back in the main event at anytime and he'll still be over.
ReplyDeleteRusev got beat with stairs, driven through a wall, blown the fuck up with pyro, but a rope across his closed eyes did the trick. Okay then.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he realizes who you are yet.
ReplyDeleteMark!
ReplyDeleteWHADDAYA SAY?!
ReplyDeleteThey structured it like a boring ass last man standing match.
ReplyDeleteSee also: Wyatt, Bray
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it's a good thing they figured out to replicate the "Jericho Effect."
I am completely and totally unmemorable to him.
ReplyDelete"Fuck, wait, that's Ferrari? Shit, dude, sorry."
He's said that to me 108 or 109 times already.
I did enjoy that match, yeah...and you're right, he fucked off right after so there was no horrible aftertaste!
ReplyDeleteTo be fair that was because Lana had seen enough.
ReplyDeleteHe had to get stitched up, think it was hardway.
ReplyDeleteHaving him stand tall the last two RAW's and beating the champ will do that.
ReplyDelete"Smarky smark smark." - A Smark named Smark.
ReplyDeleteI smark you, TripleS, John Edwards, and Vince Jordan. Smarkin' yeah, smarkitches.
Orton ate the pin and nobody will remember.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you always keep us up to date on the fact that you don't watch. We were all talking about the status of your viewership last night, and again this morning.
ReplyDeleteSmark me?! No, no...smark YOU! Smark YOU Dad!
ReplyDeleteI am sure Mrs. Extant does that also.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely good. That way when he jobs to big show and Kane, it'll mean something for them.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't really true. You have to have the ability to be so good that you stay over no matter what horse crap they give you.
ReplyDeleteSad but true.
ReplyDeleteWherever I may roam
ReplyDeleteGo smark yourself, you smarkin' hippie.
ReplyDelete"The best kinds of fans are the ones that brag about not watching the show!"
ReplyDelete-No one ever
I need a Freebird Rule here at work, where somebody else can fill in for me when I don't wanna be here.
ReplyDelete
