  1. James Horner died in a plane crash. RIP. He was the composer for Titanic.

  2. I only watched the Owens/Cena segment (on Youtube), but I thought the lampshading of the evil foreigner schtick was fun and worked well.

  5. Hey Lana, you're in line for a huge push...

SWERVED! You're not getting a push, now go make out with that jobber dork and then stand on the ramp out of the way of the camera! And you're never cutting a promo again!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Now would be a good time to bring back Zeb Colter, who should crown a Confederate States champion.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I wonder if the Impact Zone has a "Don't Forget, You're Here Forever" plaque that the wrestlers have to look at each time they tape a show

    ReplyDelete
  8. You know the fanbase wanted to get revenge on Noble for planning that lousy Rumble. Took 5 months, but they got it.

    ReplyDelete
  9. You know what's weird (OK, not weird, but interesting I guess)? I thought Michael Cole was WAY less obnoxious than usual last night and noticed it about halfway through the show. The fact that Vince wasn't in his ear last night is an interesting correlation. Not like it's anything we didn't know.

Of course, they would bring out Santino Marella in a Col. Sanders outfit and fake goatee, and he would talk about mint juleps and fried chicken.

    ReplyDelete

  38. Usually 7 per 4 days. So they are doing tapings June 25-27th and that should give them about 6 episodes. 7 taping days in July should be another 10-12 episodes. That's a total of about 5 months or so. Hell it might even take them through the end of the year assuming some of those aren't One Night Only tapings.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That was probably the writers and not the fault of HHH

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  49. Only the 5th best selling DVD?! Get the world title back on Cena right now!

    ReplyDelete
  50. perhaps..though one would think HHH had final say over the writing last night. It was a very sloppily laid out and presented show and maybe part of that was because Dunn (for as bad as he is) wasn't there and someone inexperienced was there but right from the start having Brock come out and then going to a replay of brock coming out last week... and it continued down hill from there

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  60. Those numbers seem REALLY low. Another aspect of their business model killed by the Network? I know I personally haven't purchased a WWE DVD since it launched.

    ReplyDelete
  61. He still did good stuff in the 2000s. Perfect Storm, Avatar, and Troy had really good scores.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Yeah, it's like $5 at Walmart

    ReplyDelete
  63. They do that every week.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yea he just became more hit or miss as time went on. didn't mean to shit on him.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Vince McMahon probably listens to Sinéad O'Connor in the shower and fondles himself thinking about Roman Reigns and those meaty, sweaty thighs.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think they are missing the boat with Bray here. Cut the gumbo wizard and have him be an Artist using Pro Wrestling to show off his crazy Modern Art installations

    ReplyDelete
  67. He's like a Jackson Pollock?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Are you sure you're not doing that? It's a very specific description.

  81. "Bray Wyatt sings the Children's favourites."

    ReplyDelete
  82. Damn it, Jim, I'm a smark, not a mind-reader!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm not really a fan of getting kids involved in wrestling. Raven-Sandman-Tyler was okay and Punk singing to Rey's daughter was suitably creepy but Rey vs. Eddie for Dom's paternity or whatever was stupid and if Bray brings out Roman's daughter for something cheesy, it'll be eye-rolling.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'm finishing Raw on Hulu for what I gave up on. Man this Lana face push is really picking up steam I mean her standing around not saying anything this week really set her apart from standing around not doing anything last week.

It's interesting that where they were headed with Rose in NXt of late seems to have been dropped quickly. Rose also looked better physically last night than in his last NXT taping. He was looking sickly and emaciated.

Does Vince think if Lana doesn't talk for a month we will forget she had an accent?

    ReplyDelete
  85. His hair isn't that nice.

    ReplyDelete
  86. But... but, but spooky!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Meltzer said they're in a holding pattern with Lana until Rusev heals. That probably means Vince will ultimately forget about the whole deal and she'll just become a face on the roster.

    ReplyDelete

I'm glad for freedom of speech because it helps us weed out the fucking clueless asshats a little easier.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I'm guessing not because of the injury but think we could get Noble and Mercury vs. Brock at some point during all this where Mercury puts Noble on his shoulders to face off with Brock?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences

    ReplyDelete
  103. The first Atitude Era DVD was such a DX blowjob I'm not surprised people aren't interested in the "Austin was there too" edition.

    ReplyDelete
  104. What the fuck was Puff Daddy doing in the weight room for his son's football team anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  108. honestly how do you think....Even getting beyond actually thinking that way how do you think...eh....nothing bad will come of this.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I've dealt with stuff like this in my workplace and the person in trouble always claims "freedom of speech! freedom of speech!"

What they seem to forget is that freedom of speech allows you to say anything. Freedom of speech isn't some kind of mystical barrier that protects you from the consequences of what you say.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  114. I'm amazed at how many people don't understand what Freedom of Speech means.

    ReplyDelete
  115. When you have the kind of money that lets you go 'fuck you' to those with fuck you money, you can do whatever you want I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  118. yeah, but a lot of recent firings are just for having opinions on issues, and I'm amazed that people think it's acceptable that the consequences of having an opinion should be getting fired. I don't think anyone ever misses that point, they just strongly disagree with it. But defending mass racist murder, that's a little different.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Just got to the Brock stuff seems really weird that Noble got so hurt from that bump. The padding is pretty good on the barricade isn't it? It didn't look like Brock just drove him in with reckless abandon

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

  137. If Vince and Dunn weren't there, who had the bright idea to run the Divas match that they did? Sending 5 heels out there to a dead crowd in a match that made no storyline sense?

    ReplyDelete

Though now that I think about it, Parallax's rampant philandering with other mens' wives makes me think that he's covering for something. Then it hit me: he's obviously one half of the Ambiguously Gay Duo, not that there's anything wrong with that.
