Flair vs Rude is high on the list of personal Dream Matches that actually happened

Hey kid. Trying to check myself into rehab.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Watching "The List" for more shocking title changes. What a moment when Goldberg beat Hogan.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ehh...in '89-'90, that would rocking. Babyface Flair against uber-dick heel Rude. I'm in for that.

    So A-Rod's 3000th hit is a HR.

First ballot HOFer or does he get the Clemens/Bonds treatment?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarJune 19, 2015 at 5:55 PM

He gets the "Jeter Aper" treatment, never sees the Hall of Fame.

    ReplyDelete
  11. He SHOULD be a first ballot HoFer

    ReplyDelete
  12. He's Clemens-Bonds-Palmeiro. No chance for a while.

My booze problem is out of control so I'm trying to get help.

Anything I can do to help.

  15. Serious question: what does WWE have to lose by forming a partnership with New Japan?

The biggest problem with foreign wrestlers for WWE is having to assume the long-term risk for talent that can't speak the language. They've been burned by Mistico, and KENTA has been a disappointment thusfar. With a partnership, they can bring in new guys for short stints that can tear the house down in NXT, and even the occasional WWE show.

It would be good experience for the New Japan guys to be exposed to "WWE style". And, for the one time each summer that WWE swings by Japan, instead of selling out the Sumo Hall alone, they can sell out the Tokyo Dome with a co-promoted show, which would look a lot more impressive to fans watching live on the Network.

They don't really compete with each other, but they could sure do a lot to help each other out.

  16. known cheaters won't get in for 50+ years because the journalists r a-holes and will make it a moral-ethical case

    ReplyDelete
  17. First ballot Fuck You A-Roder.

I sure hope Ichiro's 3000th hit is a bunt single.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:03 PM

Not really. Trying to get locked down for for at least a month, 6 or even 12 months would be better. I'm probably about to lose internent privliges for a while.

  19. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarJune 19, 2015 at 6:03 PM

I hate the whole process of the Baseball Hall of Fame, because the BBWAA are a bunch of a-holes, many of whom haven't covered baseball in a long time. Get a new set of voters and maybe I can take the process seriously.

    Fuck off, this isn't funny.

  22. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:04 PM

Fall Brawl 93 without the Shockmaster nonsense:

    Rude, Austin, Pillman, Vader vs
    Flair, Anderson, Windham, Sid

Horsemen reunion, even if only for one show

    ReplyDelete
  23. A year? Are you drinking every night?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Macklin, Man Without CrownJune 19, 2015 at 6:05 PM

Good luck with that man. For what it's worth, you've got my well wishes.

    ReplyDelete
  25. He'll never get in.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:05 PM

I've been drinking every night for like 15 years now.

    ReplyDelete
  27. when u all think rude peaked in being over? 89' ic title run? or his cage match with warrior.. or post wwf? i watched wm5 today so this has been on my mind

    ReplyDelete
  28. WM5.

Dangerous Alliance hits the philosophical TNA Angle question. If an amazing match/angle happens in the minor leagues, does it count?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Who's being funny?

Just keep saying that to yourself until you get to the place where you can get help.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:07 PM

Probably the win over Warrior and IC run, WWF wise. But he was next level awesome vs Sting and Flair in WCW

    ReplyDelete
  31. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarJune 19, 2015 at 6:07 PM

And why are steroids, an illegal substance, a worse offense than the greenies guys like Mantle, DiMaggio, Aaron and others took?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh wow okay. Stay strong brother.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Macklin, Man Without CrownJune 19, 2015 at 6:08 PM

I think you're right with your 89 pick. Boom period WWF and he was really over.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Good luck buddy.

  35. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:09 PM

I'm sitting in the waiting room to get admitted.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Alright then. Hang in there.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:11 PM

Thanks homie. You were always right about the booze thing.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The thing is, Vince always thinks his product is the best and to team with another would be beneath him.

He did do it in the past but that was for money and competition reasons. Now that WCW is gone, what's the incentive for him?

    ReplyDelete
  39. '89 when Piper pulled Rude's pants down in a steel cage match exposing his firm Minnesota buttocks to a pack MSG crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  40. You're a strong dude, you'll get through it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good luck! You got this.

    ReplyDelete
  42. i agree. and today there is like a 8%+ discrepancy between professional players and the public who are diagnosed and recieve meds for ADHD.. i think that says alot for how much players go through to get an edge.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Macklin, Man Without CrownJune 19, 2015 at 6:13 PM

Would you describe his buttocks as turgid?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarJune 19, 2015 at 6:13 PM

I loved Rude in WCW, he fit in there so much better than WWF.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:13 PM

    93 was good

    ReplyDelete
  46. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:13 PM

I got nowhere else to go.

    ReplyDelete
  47. More like rugged. You could grate cheese on those cheeks.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Extant1979 - Extreme SuperstarJune 19, 2015 at 6:14 PM

Dude, stay strong. We got ya back.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The time he was on raw and nitro within 1 hour

    ReplyDelete
  50. $45 for the RoH PPV tonight?!?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Frank Thomas never got caught with steroids.

It's okay to cheat if you don't get caught, or it's "cute" cheating, like spitting on balls and corking your bat.

    ReplyDelete
  52. He was THISCLOSE to being WCW World Champion in 1992. Then he never hit that level again (fake World titles notwithstanding).

I'd say he peaked in WCW in 92.

    ReplyDelete
  53. $5 for the RoH PPV tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  54. That is a ridiculous price to charge

    ReplyDelete
  55. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:16 PM

As an 8 yr old mark, I remember thinking "why should I care?" Regarding the Flair-Fujinami feud. Tuned right back in to Hogan vs Slaughter

    ReplyDelete
  56. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 19, 2015 at 6:16 PM

For the first time in my life I'm trying. That's a good start.

    ReplyDelete
  57. five dollars? get outta here...

    ReplyDelete
  58. ThebrazilianpsychoJune 19, 2015 at 6:17 PM

    Workrate.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:17 PM

    8 yrs old. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. What's the mindset behind upvoting a post like this?

    ReplyDelete
  61. No eight year old cares about work rate

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'd order if it was like $25. I can't justify spending $45 on a product that I barely watch. I'm sure I'll watch via other means though...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yeah I guess fucking that up is what I get for being a smart ass.

    ReplyDelete
  64. That he is trying to get help.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Because Fujinami beat Flair in Japan. Could he do it again in America?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'll probably watch on my iPad while I watch something else I'm way more interested in

    ReplyDelete
  67. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 19, 2015 at 6:19 PM

What was the first match you remember appreciating workrate in?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yeah man, you've already taken care of the first step. Some say that's the hardest part. Just continue being your strong self and I'm sure you'll conquer the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Good luck, buddy! I quit drinking 6 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. You got this!
