The kayfabe reason is that it took that long for Jack Tunney to research the rules and come to his decision, which was that Andre could surrender the title, but could not name his successor. No, he wasn't a technician in the ring, no question. However, Hogan understood one of the most important things in wrestling, and that's timing your comebacks. He was a master at knowing exactly when it was time to Hulk up after taking a big time beating from the heel. If you pay attention, that's not a skill many faces have. So, for that alone, he was not "horrendous".flair4dagoldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-10706889372220218802013-01-06T09:49:32.786-07:002013-01-06T09:49:32.786-07:00That would be incredible. As a kid I loved him, but every time one of his matches gets queued up I cringe. Even a depleted Andre gets caught botching (when all he had left was his ability to sell) because Hogan either can't remember spots or doesn't hear the call.Ronnie Vodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-44340399691876528712013-01-06T09:17:16.288-07:002013-01-06T09:17:16.288-07:00Not quite the only footage--the same match was hel...Not quite the only footage--the same match was held at Philly the same week (maybe even the same day) which was also televised.PeteF3noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-19669097348303898292013-01-06T08:00:54.353-07:002013-01-06T08:00:54.353-07:00Still too late for A season I would think :(Still too late for A season I would think :(Kyle Warnenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-12110548107838792952013-01-06T07:49:02.380-07:002013-01-06T07:49:02.380-07:00It reminds me of that arcade game WWF Superstars w...It reminds me of that arcade game WWF Superstars where Dibiase and Andre were the champs and it was next to impossible to beat them when Andre was in the ring.Jef Vinsonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-7287426359379105782013-01-06T07:23:15.739-07:002013-01-06T07:23:15.739-07:00Threadjack: The NHL lockout is over!Threadjack: The NHL lockout is over!TenGermansnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-35830739790950612042013-01-06T06:14:35.345-07:002013-01-06T06:14:35.345-07:00Now that they have the Mid-South library, DiBiase ...Now that they have the Mid-South library, DiBiase needs to get his own 3-disc DVD set with this match on it.jvc113http://www.josephcollins.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-6036974610876264092013-01-06T04:31:13.916-07:002013-01-06T04:31:13.916-07:00BamBam could have been so much moreBamBam could have been so much moreATL2013noreply@blogger.com
