Apparently Arn attacked him, and it was Arn who first drew the scissors. He was just better connected at the time.Greg Phillipshttp://www.facebook.com/people/Greg-Phillips/45100401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-62700175907239629162012-12-12T11:49:17.132-07:002012-12-12T11:49:17.132-07:00It is interesting to wonder "what if" Si...It is interesting to wonder "what if" Sid hadn't tried to injure Arn Anderson. If he had won the belt, the whole "Hogan-scene" would have been much different. It's weird because WCW was talking about Hogan on TV by February, even though he didn't officially sign or join until about June. In hindsight, I would have rather seen Hogan stay in Japan and seen Flair keep the book of the rest of '94 - but that's me at this point.fg76noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-45368007201865053562012-12-12T10:50:31.293-07:002012-12-12T10:50:31.293-07:00I will always maintain that, once they got some aw...I will always maintain that, once they got some awesome tag matches between the Blondes vs. Flair/AA, they should have audibled the new Horsemen and had Austin/Pillman murder Roma, and join up with Flair & Arn. After battling each other, the young guns learn respect for Flair/Arn and the Horsemen way, while the elders see future Horsemen in Austin/Pillman during their battles. Flair, Anderson, Pillman, and Austin as Horsemen would have offered a "something old, something new" take, plus FOUR guys who could hold their own and benefit from the increased stature. Not just Flair and three guys who back him upATL2012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-49896378259195341082012-12-11T20:38:50.552-07:002012-12-11T20:38:50.552-07:00Yes, they did cut out the forgettable "Four H...Yes, they did cut out the forgettable "Four Horsemen reunion" from the tape. I had to piece together what I could from Dailymotion. If there was an interview segment from Bischoff or Missy Hyatt I apologize for missing them.
I agree that the matches were good, but Vader was not a money-drawing champion. I bet Bischoff saw dollar signs when he saw that crowd pop for Sid though.Rock Star Garyhttp://rockstargary.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-69350972534245659972012-12-11T20:23:56.769-07:002012-12-11T20:23:56.769-07:00This is one of those tapes that Turner Home Video ...This is one of those tapes that Turner Home Video released in late 1993/early 1994, although I think they cut out the Flair For The Gold Segment. Still overall a good show though in a terrible period.

Oh, and Nick Bockwinkel is a total pimp.nwa88noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-18513600685685473302012-12-11T10:35:08.934-07:002012-12-11T10:35:08.934-07:00I have still never seen this show. Maybe it's me but I always thought that was so weird because they both were WWE legends and are being celebrated on a WCW show.Weyernoreply@blogger.com
