That was the weirdest year yet one of the most important of the modern wrestling era. Flair winning title, Hogan's semi-retirement, the steroid scandal explosion and its effect on Hogan's WWF future, Warrior's flake out, the ascension of Hart/Michaels etc., house show title changes etc.Faceman007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-30075243551865956462015-06-02T12:10:12.653-06:002015-06-02T12:10:12.653-06:00Stuff like that made me not believe in wrestling a...Stuff like that made me not believe in wrestling at all anymore.Dwaynenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-91102689937918582932015-06-02T12:08:12.621-06:002015-06-02T12:08:12.621-06:00I remember them using Papa Shango to put Bret over...I remember them using Papa Shango to put Bret over as the new WWF champ by the end of the year.Dwaynenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3838126259950293862.post-15670426801545712842015-06-02T12:05:32.615-06:002015-06-02T12:05:32.615-06:00I still thought wrestling was real when he put tha...I still thought wrestling was real when he put that curse on Warrior. Warrior/Shango was bombing houses left and right. If that plan was in the works, Hogan would've vetoed immediately knowing how bad it would make him look if he went in their with a anti-draw like Shango and have weak numbers that would affect his negotiation leverage.Garth Holmberg, C.C.http://DaWrestlingSite.com/noreply@blogger.com
