Cell live thread!

Yeah!

Comments

  1. The show's not till 8:00...early start!!!

    ReplyDelete
  2. (Spoiler alert)
Ryback beats up Punk for 10 minutes, then Lesnar comes out from under the ring, F5s Ryback and Punk wins. Punk takes too much time celebrating his victory though and Ryback recovers, clothelines Lesnar out of the ring and Shellshocks Punk (with extended marching). Ziggler's music hits. He stares down Ryback in the aisle, enters the ring, hands over the briefcase and Zig-zags a groggy Punk just as he gets back to his feet. Ziggler wins the title. Then he salutes the fans and waves his hand in front of his face before pulling off his mask to reveal that he's actually John Cena. His music hits as he holds the title over his head, ratings skyrocket, and all is well in Titan-town again.

I will eat a bowl of Bran Flakes tomorrow morning if this isn't exactly what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I can see this happening. But is there any way to have everyone in the ring, ref included take off their masks to reveal themselves as Cena? And borrow some of Kane's pyro budget and have the hard camera side of the cell burst into flames that form an image of Cena's face? Dark Knight Rises bat signal style?

    ReplyDelete
  4. I won't blame you for streaming it

    ReplyDelete
  5. Do you want to encourage them to run with Ryback?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Up it to a bowl of Colon Blow and I'll take that bet!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Under no circumstances is Ziggler cashing in for a WWE title shot. With separate MitB briefcases, and the fact that they've already said several times that Dolph's briefcase can ONLY be cashed in on the WHC, such laziness really would be enough to make me turn on the product for good.

And Ryback ain't winning the title either. He's already ruined WWE Main Event, don't let him ruin everything else on top of that!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Is this the first PPV since Wrestlemania with no YouTube pre-show match?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I want to encourage them to run with "not Cena."

    ReplyDelete
  10. Well, Vickie DID just become General Manager Executive Vice President of Talent Relations Associate Junior Senior Sophomre of Raw, so I'd bet on Dolph using that to pull some strings to get a WWE title shot

    ReplyDelete
  11. The football game that's on is too good. I can't justify spending $50 on a mystery finish.

That said, if the game is a blowout and it's interesting, maybe I get the replay...

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'd laugh my ass off if Show got another 45 second title reign.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm morbidly curious as to how they're going to No Contest themselves out of this corner.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I want to encourage them to have the entire roster of Superstars and Divas to run in and cause a no-contest for the main event, then break out into a Gangnam Style dance before fading to black.

    ReplyDelete
  15. This PPV gets a zero buyrate in San Francisco.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If they weren't "PG", I could see Ryback just beating Punk to bloody pulp, only to have Punk snake a win somehow. Don't know if you can make it look brutal enough to keep Ryback superstrong and still be PG though.

    ReplyDelete
  17. This is not what I would have opened with. At all.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Superplex off the cage knocks one or both of them out?

    ReplyDelete
  19. It cant lead anywhere if Ryback wins the title with the long term booking they have in place best thing for Ryback to do is go after Big Show after he beats Sheamus tonight. Also there is no point in these cell matches in the pg era

    ReplyDelete
  20. But it isn't escape rules, which is why this is such a hard call.

    ReplyDelete
  21. dont think ortons been upto much since the got busted

    ReplyDelete
  22. I don't think Orton's really given a shit since he got busted.

    ReplyDelete
  23. how do you add a profile picture on disqus?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Almost didn't watch the show because my gf is over but then decided you don't get enough epic sports nights with a hitc, the world series and a sunday night game with giant bod fantasy implications for me. I LOVE super sports nights

    ReplyDelete
  25. Grinding gear button, edit settings, avatar, browse, upload pic

    ReplyDelete
  26. Stop me if you've heard this one before: Del Rio's working the ARM!

    ReplyDelete
  27. ...keep goin', I'm following...

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm glad to see that you have your priorities in order.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That match against ziggler at the last ppv was awesome though

    ReplyDelete
  30. Probably a better finish than what they've come up with.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love jbl on commentary but lets not mix in whc title reigns with wwe title reigns.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I see her more often that I get super sports sundays though

    ReplyDelete
  33. The question isn't 'gf or sports', the question is whether Game 4 or HITC gets more attention?

    ReplyDelete
  34. or say that this match is bigger than HITC... JR corrected him on that pretty quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is Vince McMahon's world. We're not getting Gangnam Style for at least another two years.

    ReplyDelete
  36. That wasn't sarcasm!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I have game 4 at -180 on the money line

    ReplyDelete
  38. remenber when the armbreaker was a DANGEROUS submission move

    ReplyDelete
  39. I do feel like we are good hands overall for the show with jr and jbl on the mic

    ReplyDelete
  40. If she puts up with that tonight, she is a keeper

    ReplyDelete
  41. Do you also rip on Ric Flair for working on the LEG?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh snap, Del Rio almost showed some personality there!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Del Rio is 10x more fun in the mid card than he is as a main eventer. He's damn good and may earn his way back to the top next year.

    ReplyDelete
  44. But Flair didn't do that literally every single match!

    ReplyDelete
  45. ADR has been pretty good on Smackdown, but I understand that not many people watch that show.

    ReplyDelete
  46. My new main event prediction: Ryback tears a quad midway through the match.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm waiting to see if the Tigers can outdo the Yankees when it comes to failing with RISPs.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yikes! That was an awful looking spot with Del Rio on the top

    ReplyDelete
  49. It's like even though the yanks got swept they somehow put there suck stank on the tigers before they took off to sf

    ReplyDelete
  50. At least the announcers sold that botch well.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Nice transition into that armbar w/Rodriguez!

    ReplyDelete
  52. These guys chemistry is so-so. Multiple blown or "ackward" spots in a row feels like.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow. Same old, same old. I don't know why I expected different.

    ReplyDelete
  54. gotta admitt that finish was awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  55. That was a ok opener

    ReplyDelete
  56. Orton is such a smooth performer, but I find his persona/storytelling so boring

    ReplyDelete
  57. You said two when you meant fourteen.

    ReplyDelete
  58. ADR does another job huh? That was a sweet ass finish. I'd say that match was about 3.25 stars or so.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Better opener than I expected.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Because I'm an idiot, that's why.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Typical Orton match. Fluke win.

    ReplyDelete
  62. And they tried to cover it up by...slapping hands repeatedly. That was embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I immediately take that back. I say 2.75-3 stars

    ReplyDelete
  64. Good solid opener, but ever since his 2nd Wellness Randy's been missing that spark. A heel turn could do him some good in the leadup to Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think on 2nd viewing you may edit those snowflakes down a touch. It wasn't anything you won't see in a TV match.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh god the "aj scandal" smh

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thought that was a fun match. Not great, but I like ADR, so I liked watching him be kinda vicious. Top rope spot was ugly, but it happens sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Whta the hell? were you reading my mind as I was typing my initial response? lol.

    ReplyDelete
  69. jeez enough with twitter already!

    ReplyDelete
  70. It's going to be all over tomorrow's show.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Didn't TNA just do this angle?

    ReplyDelete
  72. So how many more months do we get adr vs rko? I say the over under is 1.5

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think he was missing that spark before he got busted... which is why he was probably tokin' it up or whatever anyway. But yeah, you're right that he probably need to go heel if it's possible to smoothly re-train fans on his character.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm pretty sure that Ric Flair worked the leg literally every single match.

    ReplyDelete
  75. he is afraid of count chocula though!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Is this a PPV or another episode of Raw?

    ReplyDelete
  77. At least they had the common sense to put Christopher Daniels in it.

    ReplyDelete
  78. My least favorite angle of all time was the vickie/edge/cena/big show love triangle and man does this feel a whole lot like version 2.0

    ReplyDelete
  79. "Our audience is 8-year-olds."

How many 8-year-olds understand what an affair is?

    ReplyDelete
  80. heres comes your saviour and mine!

    ReplyDelete
  81. In modern day America? Probably way more than you think. Check divorce/infidelity stats.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Can you believe a fucking b-show ppv costs 60 bucks in hd? Seems a bit much but if you're gonna get it you might as well spend the extra 10 bucks for the hd

    ReplyDelete
  83. Team Hell No loses, splits and captain opposing teams at Survivor Series? I dont see them stretching this out all the way to Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Well I'm definitely excited for this match. You know in execution this card might not be that bad

    ReplyDelete
  85. Kane is over for his own reasons. Bryan is over for his own reasons. And Hell No is over as a team. Such a unique dynamic.

If they let the right guys go at the right time, and follow tag team formula a little bit, this could go 3.5-4.0 stars.

    ReplyDelete
  86. The angle just seems odd for a show they've so aggressively pushed as "family" entertainment, especially considering it involves their biggest draw for kids.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I'd like to say, "you get what you pay for," but I don't think that's the case at all. That's ridiculous. I can understand that type of price for a four-hour Wrestlemania, but not for freaking Hell in a Cell.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Raw's a longer show and by god does it feel it!

    ReplyDelete
  89. I actually like Team Hell No to not split, keep the belts and captain opposing teams at Survivor Series where the captain of the winning "team" gets to be the captain of Team Hell No, and then decide what matches they take on when and such.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Yeah, I don't think an 8-year old victim of divorce understands what that means anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  91. JBL is making no sense right now. He's trying to start arguments that aren't there.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Kane will always be over, but he owes Bryan a part of his paycheck right now, because he wouldn't be THIS over on his own anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'll take the over. They'll stretch it to Survivor Series at least. It'll probably their "traditional Survivor Series" match.

    ReplyDelete
  94. when they split up would be cool if they continue to be friends, like rocky -mankind style of friends that would be cool

    ReplyDelete
  95. All four guys look hyped for this match. 5th gear.

    ReplyDelete
  96. The lack of appletinis makes this far less watchable.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Creative (or more likely Vince's veto power) will forget they were even in a tag team within 3 months of dropping the titles.

    ReplyDelete
  98. sad that vince thinks that the angle is over the history of the wrestler previously is over.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Honest to God, Daniel Bryan should be holding one of the WT belts.

    ReplyDelete
  100. For sure. Dude is clicking on ALL cylinders

    ReplyDelete
  101. Bryan is single-handedly saving the tag team division.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Daniel Bryan definitely wore his workrate boots tonight

    ReplyDelete
  103. Daniel's just so damn crisp. I'd like to see him throw a few more suplex's and what not to spice up his offence but i dont think he's capable of having a bad match.

    ReplyDelete
  104. He may sleep with them on.

    ReplyDelete
  105. definetely specially the WWE title,it would be my awesome seing bryan main eventing WM and winning the wwe title.

    ReplyDelete
  106. He had a decent match with Kamala for fucks sake.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I dig the little things: After Bryan gets hit by the knee, he still extends his hand out in a dazed manner.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Sandow had his middle finger extended on the elbow. Nice touch!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Imo the only two times kane had been more over or as over was when he first showed up and when he first dropped the mask.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I think THAT is the real sidewalk slam

    ReplyDelete
  111. C'mon, give it five more minutes...

    ReplyDelete
  112. damn so far this is a pretty awesome match, I like kane pulling off bryan finally too

    ReplyDelete
  113. I love that Kane and Bryan can fight amongst themselves but still keep it together enough to beat on their opponents

    ReplyDelete
  114. I feel like that little segment added to the match. Thats the kind of sports entertainment i like

    ReplyDelete
  115. You got to be shitting me! Damn the company for these lame ass finishes!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Sandow sold that chokeslam like a fucking champ

    ReplyDelete
  117. What the fuck was that finish?

    ReplyDelete
  118. I'm fine with that finish because this is a good feud I would like to see continue and I way prefer this to sandow or cody jobbing out right

    ReplyDelete
  119. What a great match, but just put the damn champs over. I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Maybe we get some Dr. Shelby tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  121. What's the consensus star rating on that one. 3.25/3.5ish sound too high. I though Bryan did some great work there

    ReplyDelete
  122. This feud MUST continue apparently

    ReplyDelete
  123. "I think Dr. Shelby should be fired. I think he already was."

I think that's insider speak for "he's already gone."

    ReplyDelete
  124. i'm sorry miz only badasses can wear trenchcoats

    ReplyDelete
  125. 2.5 snowflakes. Give it 5 more minutes and an actual finish and it breaks *** easy.

    ReplyDelete
  126. 3.25 sounds about right. A cleaner finish or a few more minutes would've made it memorable past tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Miz talking about mediocrity is funny for the wrong reasons.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Not a bad miz promo, I dug it

    ReplyDelete
  129. Wow Miz, melodrama in that promo much

    ReplyDelete
  130. Heeyyy... don't steal my words before I use them.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Good lord, he really IS trying to be Jericho 2008 II.

    ReplyDelete
  132. shhhh! He's "acting"...

    ReplyDelete
  133. I'm definitely sad they didn't give it more time. Its only 5:50 or so, and I think they only have four more matches booked. Don't get why that can't get more time?

    ReplyDelete
  134. like the brazilian comedian chacrinha said "nothing is creared, everything is copied".

    ReplyDelete
  135. Kofi Kingston might soon experience some mizfortune.

    ReplyDelete
  136. You are MONEY, BeardMoney.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Josh reddick, so glad we got you for andrew bailey. Good player

    ReplyDelete
  138. Worse acts to rip off I suppose

    ReplyDelete
  139. Kofi Kingston is going to have a mizerable time trying to hang on to his Intercontinental title.

    ReplyDelete
  140. if you wanna call it that...

    ReplyDelete
  141. 3 week build to Survivor Series??? Jaysis! If it's gonna be that throw away at least give us a few old school SS elim matches. With some proper team names too!!!

    ReplyDelete
  142. What's this, match up #115 between these two? Yawn...

    ReplyDelete
  143. Yeah, I typed that about a second before they said that.

    ReplyDelete
  144. The Chain Gang vs. The Heyman Guys?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Kofi might make a critical mizstake

    ReplyDelete
  146. Yeah, I'd like it even more if it wasn't such a blatant plug for a non-WWE show.

    ReplyDelete
  147. damn too bored to even comment on this match

    ReplyDelete
  148. Thank you very much. Vince gives me some solid material to work with.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Rest hold 2 minutes in. Man, that Miz is really improving in the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Great wrestling so far in this ppv, might make up for the possible dual stinkers of main events.

    ReplyDelete
  151. This match isn't awful or anything but I don't see how the fuck miz is ready for another main event heel push.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Not to be that guy, but Ziggler's briefcase is BLUE and is for the World Heavyweight Championship, not the WWE Championship. It's been that way for the last 3 years.

    ReplyDelete
  153. this is the begining of the Miz burial.

    ReplyDelete
  154. As long as the Miz is in there, Kofi is just one miztimed error away from losing that belt.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Sheamus has gotta do something for the next 2 months, Miz aint a bad choice if they're not going to pull the trigger on Ziggler.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Did Michael Cole just call this a sport? ooops.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Bee-U-tiful cross body by Kofi

    ReplyDelete
  158. or miztimed move from hitting the floor.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Still less than half of Dolph vs. Kofi.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'm liking the match honestly...

    ReplyDelete
  161. It's not that Kofi/Miz have bad matches. Just we've seen it all before. There's nothing empirically wrong with this match but I'm just burned out on watching Kofi and Miz wrestle.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Well, Kofi could very well be the Steamboat of this generation. Full of energy and can use his style to work with everyone. He's been a face his entire career, too

    ReplyDelete
  163. but the problem with kofi it's that he doesn't have a real gimmick like steamboat.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I love that finsih

    ReplyDelete
  165. Miz should work over the OTHER leg next time! But seriously, that was a great match!

    ReplyDelete
  166. Good solid match but no real heat and nothing that wouldn't look out of place on a typical Smackdown.

    ReplyDelete
  167. that was a nice match was some psychology and cool finish. solid 2.5 to 2.75 stars

    ReplyDelete
  168. I'm at 2.5 myself

    ReplyDelete
  169. Well at least they are trying to do something with kofi

    ReplyDelete
  170. I like the interview in the ring. Nice touch.

    ReplyDelete
  171. So are there only the two world title matches and the divas match left? That ryback match can't be booked for more than 15 minutes can it?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Was just thinking the same thing, a very Steamboat-esque performance. It would be awesome to see him elevated to a feud with Punk with Punk playing up the Savage role with everything he's got.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Wont it be cold as hell outside in Jersey for Mania 29? Or is that just my canadian self talking with our Halloween to St.Patrick's Day winters?

    ReplyDelete
  174. Oh god, 1 hour broadway for Ryback KILL ME NOW

    ReplyDelete
  175. How 'bout Sheamus-Show, please tell me that's not going to go for more than 15 minutes...lord help me.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Have you seen how muscular Ryback is? They can't cheat the fans by only letting them look at this muscles for 15 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Inferno matches for everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  178. Antonio vs Justin Gabriel for the US title i presume, why they cant actually promote that ahead of time is a mystery for another time.

    ReplyDelete
