Worst WWE internet show ever?

I realize that I shouldn't throw around that claim lightly, but I can
beardly make it to the end of this...

It's no worse than any of Santino's "hilarious" shows, I'd say.  Although the sponsorship thing is annoying.

Two thoughts:

1)  In Canada, Norelco isn't a thing.  Shavers are just Philips.  Always makes it weird to watch commercials for "Norelco" shavers that are exactly the same as "Philips" ones that we get up here but with a different brand.

2)  Greatest Wrestlemania match that never happened this year for some stupid reason:  Team Hell No v. Rhodes Scholars, with Cody's mustache against Daniel Bryan's beard.  WHY DID NO ONE BOOK THIS?  You can't tell me the heat wouldn't have been off the charts.

Comments

  1. After Bryan wins the title, they should book a short program between him and Sandow for one of the C PPVs in the fall. Loser shaves the beard.

  2. I've said this before: Every PPV Cody should change his mustache to fit wherever he is. The last PPV he should have broken out the pencil thin 1920's mob 'stache in Chicago.

  3. Well that shoots the Best Beards in Wrestling list I was kicking around. Sadly, I'm not kidding.

  4. With the heat for beard v. beard they don't need the title.

  5. Yeah..I don't think Sandow will ever be shaving his beard under any circumstances.

    He's a little...Benoitish without it.

  6. What about the one where Tim White killed himself every week?

  7. It probably took him 28 years to grow the one he has now.

  8. I wanted to see Daniel Bryan vs. Kane in a Beard vs. Mask match.

If Bryan wins, Kane has to grow a beard. If Kane wins, Bryan has to wear a mask.

  9. I can see Bryan being forced to wear the goat mask when he loses a match to the Wyatt family

  10. Don't say that too loud or faces will be losing embarrassing stipulation matches, even though that's a way heels get their comeuppance.

  11. It's not even a real "show" it's just a glorified commercial. I know WWE likes to do work with men's grooming products, they could really go all out with Daniel Bryan and stuff like that.

  12. Cena could pop out of a bathroom stall every week and ask Bryan if he's ready for the (insert razor company name) Shaving Challenge!

  13. WWEFanNation jumped the shark after Z! and Are You Serious? got cancelled.

  14. It can't be worse than How does he (Superman) shave?

  15. Good lord...I don't think anything represents how petty and bored the current crop of mainstream comicbook fans are, when they obsess over a fact such as that one, I think the hubbub over Joker's face not being bleached white (as opposed to it being paint) was the real indicator of how ridiculous things became.

  16. Equally creepy is that he looks a little like Tamerlan Tsarnaev without it. With it though he reminds me of Gunner Scott, who nobody really remembers and who was Benoit's onscreen protege briefly.

  17. Rhodes loses a beard vs moustache match, but gets around the stip by shaving only part of the moustache, leaving himself with a Hitler look to get even more heat!

  18. i would imagine it's like watching Nabisco ads when you've known those cookies as Mr. Christie.

  19. People could also not remember him as Brent Albright in ROH!

  20. Scott, that wrestlemania match is genius and thus, the reason why it didn't and never will happen. If Daniel Bryan's beard was a McMahon, however, then it might have been given a main event level push.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm surprised the Wyatt's are allowed the goat mask gimmick at the moment. Just wait, even though its cool and creepy, creative will nix it because its too similar to Daniel Bryan somehow?!

  22. I'll never quite understand how anyone thought of all the ROH talent of that time period that the chunky curtain jerker needed to be signed to WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Not only that but it is an actual ad campaign to tie-in with MOS. From Norelco or whoever.
