  1. Kane getting written out of that match wouldn't be the worst thing that's ever happened.

  2. Randy sure is taking a lot of L's lately. I'm starting to like him more.

  3. I am not here on behalf of my friend CM Punk, I am not here on behalf of my client, the intercontinental champion, Curtis Axel, I am here on behalf of the latest entrant into the All Star Money in the Bank ladder match, Brock...Lesnar!

    Punk: wtf Paul!

    Summerslam is set :P

  4. I'm 100% for it.

  5. So which one of the three different wives is Orton getting divorced from?

  7. St. Louis area police are ready to collect some OVERTIME!

  8. Holy shit is Randy Orton worth a lot of money... I found a lot of those numbers surprising... so glad I went to college instead of being born into a wrestling family :( (Yes I know that didn't make much sense... WORK WITH ME PEOPLE)

Also his ex-wife has a Sandra Bullock quality about her... no real point there, just an observation.

yeah ive noticed that. and his powerslam attempts have been whiffing on the 1st few attempts too.

  10. Orton is pulling in a little north of 300K/month and only paying $4,500/month in child support? Either He had a hell of a lawyer or an awesome ex wife.

    ReplyDelete
  11. They said it was amicable. Wifey also got a house and just under a million bucks. If it's actually amicable, it's very possible that the 4500 a month is the base payment. When the kid needs to go to a private school at 20,000 a year and then go to Harvard, I'm sure daddy Orton is going to be happy to shell out for her.

  12. GYM BAGS BEWARE!

  13. 300k A MONTH?!

  14. Again, the comparisons to the olden days of wrestling are staggering, even when it comes to divorce:

Hogan and his wife divorce because Linda is crazy and Hulk might possibly have been gay with Brutus. Dynamite Kid would threaten his wife with a shotgun. Bret cheated on his wife all the time because she was batshit crazy. Bulldog sodomized Diana with a broom after giving her roofies, which was also the first sentence in her book. Austin beat up Deborah.

Today, guys like Cena and Orton get divorces because "eh, we're just not feeling it anymore."

  15. Guarantee Lil' Viper is going to Country Day.

  16. That's beyond amicable, that's probably a pretty good prenup. General rule of thumb is 5-10% of spouse's income after taxes if things are amicable and a lot more if the woman is out for blood. Assuming he's taxed about 33% he's still barely handing out 2% of his monthly take home. That's got to be a prenup.

  17. Yeah, that was a staggering number. And I assume that doesn't include merchandising cuts, since it said "salary." Makes me wonder how much Cena is really taking in. Gotta figure close to double that.

I love Orton as a performer, as is well documented here, but that's a crapload of money (probably not much compared to WWE's bottom line though).

  18. I love that spot. He and Christian did a really clever series of counters in their match last week that included the powerslam miss and Christian headfaking Orton into going for the RKO counter to the springboard sunset flip (which Orton used to beat him for the title a couple years back).

  19. I'm completely fine with wrestlers being compensated the way they are. They deserve the money they're making.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Must not be using WWE's legal team.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Orton's wife is either really awesome or he got a hell of an attorney. His child support payment is nothing, and he keeps most of his shit. Good for them for putting their child first and not acting like psychopaths.

    ReplyDelete
  22. What about the 3 other Mrs. Randy Ortons?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I haven't heard many good things about Randy Orton the person, but he apparently is very attached to his kid.

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER 2 FUCKING SAME JOKES IN THIS VERY SAME PAGE?!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I agree. I was just surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I heard he's gotten better compared to a few years ago.

Having a child will mellow you out.

  27. In this day and age of vicious divorces, I'm glad that Orton's was settled easily.

These terms seem fair to both parties.

  28. I think John Cena called Old!Randy an asshole on the most recent Orton set.
