  1. Still surprised that Sabin is champion. Can't say that I think it was a very good decision. Which is surprising, cause TNA usually does everything right!

  2. Sabin loses the belt to Bully in the cage at Hardcore Justice I'd wager.

  3. Corey Maclin. He was the main Memphis announcer with Dave Brown when I started watching Memphis on a cable access show in St. Louis. He had an impossible task replacing Lance Russell, but his booming voice made him a good PA announcer. You hate to hear things like this.

  4. That's tearable news about Cody Maclin. I was just watching the Lesley Ballinger versus Miss Texas boxing match that he referreded just last night! Rest In Piece.

  5. And a fan got arrested for hitting Randy Orton in the nuts at the WWE show today in Cape Town, South Africa.

  6. RIP Corey Maclin. I remember watching him on USWA in the mid-90s.

  7. It will be impossible for me to ever care about Manik unless they change the name of his finisher to Depression. Then I'm all in.

    ReplyDelete
  8. WWE actually posted an article about it.

  9. Manic depression is a frustrating mess.

  10. If there was one wrestler that needed to go away in the Attitude Era, it was Dennis Knight. After Southern Justice, he was the worst thing about the Ministry, and was always in terrible shape for a wrestler.

    Then they did Naked Mideon...

  11. My psychiatrist diagnosed me as having Hulk-a-manic depression. Some days I feel like I'm being pummeled by a fat man; other days I feel like I can conquer the world by simply puffing my cheeks and shaking my finger.

Good to see someone like Dennis night happy and doing well outside of wrestling. We need more stories like those.

I am assuming you also think that everyone is your brother.

  14. His skin also takes on an orange tint...

  15. And my hair all relocates to the mustache region.

  16. I watched a shoot with the Godwinn's, called the "Dark Side" of wrestling and it was just them talking about all of the injuries and drugs they endured and used in the business. Nice to see he stayed sober

Every belt in your life becomes a guitar.

  18. Nice! I set it, but you spiked that bad-boy, brother.

  19. LOL @ Orton selling it

  20. Aren't you also prone to exaggeration?

    ReplyDelete
  21. And for the explanation as to why he did it: http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe/32450-fan-who-hit-orton-explains-motives

  22. Victim 3,497 of WWE's homogenized product: Orton's junk. In the old days they'd have kicked the piss out of that shmuck.

...if he wanted to make a name in the WWE, he should have shit in all their bags.

  23. He's basically Ron Garvin 2K13

    ReplyDelete
  24. Weirdly, after finally getting turfed years later, he got all jacked up on the indies to where he was walking around looking like Scott Steiner. Surprised he never got re-signed.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Considering the history of people like Santino being pulled out of the crowd and then 'offered a contract' why wouldn't a mark think that that is how you can break into the WWE? I can't believe someone actually did it but its actually sort of reasonable logic

  26. Has anyone had a worse collection of character names than Mideon's partner Viscera? Also known as Mabel, also known as Big Daddy V. He goes from being named after somebody's grandma, to being named after intestines, to having a name you'd see on a villain in an early-'90s Sega Genesis game. I mean, "Puke" was a really bad name, but that was just one name.
