Ric Flair's daughter.. Considering she's gonna get as many chances as it takes her to get over, coupled with the fact it looks like she could get over on her own, we're likely looking at the future right here..
I'm kind of amazed that this was basically her first match ever and she looked like a totally normal and comfortable wrestler out there.
She did some cool stuff. I thought the finisher kind of sucked but she can work on that. I don't really find her that attractive though.
ReplyDeleteWow, I had no idea she was wrestling.
ReplyDeleteAfter so little experience, she's already 100 times better than David ever was.
What? He's a former US CHAMPION!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, I agree with your comment.
For all the tragedy that has befallen Flair of late, it's great to see him in such good spirits, watching his daughter with such obvious pride in his eyes.
ReplyDeleteAlso of note, Bailey's gimmick of a wrestling superfan is pretty fun, like how she's so starstruck by being near Ric Flair that she finds it hard to focus on the match.
I never watch NXT...was that a gimmick? If so, kudos to her, b/c she had me fooled.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia says she's 27. I wonder why she's starting now. Helping dad pay the bills?
ReplyDeleteYeah, a modified neckbreaker is a weird finisher. That bridging move in the middle was kind of cool though.
ReplyDelete'I don't really find her that attractive though.'
ReplyDeleteshe has her father's face
thats a cool gimmick.
ReplyDeleteShe looked pretty smooth and confident for someone with very little experience. She did a good job working in her gymnastics background without it being too contrived.
ReplyDeleteShe has some work to do but she's already better than any current Diva with the possible exception of man-arms.
ReplyDeleteHe's just happy to have another earner in the family.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it just came naturally to her - she's already $700,000 in debt and only getting better.
ReplyDeleteupvoted cause the way aj harasses kaitlyn is funny
ReplyDeleteMost of the NXT divas are better than the ones on the main roster
ReplyDeleteIt look like she almost missed hitting it too.
ReplyDeleteShe worked the corner spot in that her dad used to fail at 99% of the time.
ReplyDeleteI don't get why that is. Why don't they just promote them? Do they not want a strong Divas division?
ReplyDeleteDoes she have her creative control clauses worked out? Has she perfected the art of refusing to put people over?
ReplyDeleteAJ is actually a pretty goof worker but otherwise yes your are correct the rest are shit.
ReplyDeleteShe's not super hot but none of the Divas are expect maybe AJ. But I thought for someone that green she looked really good.
ReplyDeleteShe actually had a few innovative moves. And I thought she used her gymnastics background well. Personally I liked the flipping Stoner/Diamond Cutter/RKO finisher.
I must be the only person in the world who didn't hate David. Him and Daffney were one of the few bright spots during the otherwise horrid WCW year of 2000.
ReplyDeleteSummer Rae says hi...
ReplyDelete"Personally I liked the flipping Stoner..." what does RVD have to do with any of this?
man-arms?
ReplyDeleteBecause they can't bother figuring out what to do with more than 2 divas at a time. And they can't bother giving them more than 2 minute matches.
ReplyDeleteAJ is easily the best in the division in WWE.
ReplyDeleteLol Stuner
ReplyDeleteGetting closer...
ReplyDeleteThey were entertaining but David was still a shit wrestler.
ReplyDeleteI don't 'hate' David, but he was clearly 'not-ready-for-prime-time'.
ReplyDeleteWhat Craig said. And because they're not really interested in getting any of them over as 'wrestlers'.
ReplyDeleteHe's sayin' she stunneded him!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell she was trained (at least in part) by Flair, just from the way she moves in the ring, the way she locks up, etc. And as noted, she's already light-years beyond where David was at this point.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, she doesn't spend more money in spilled liquor in bars from one side of this country to the other than all the other divas make combined.
ReplyDeleteI think it was Mickie James who said that the intention behind the Divas matches is supposed to be a "break" between other matches and that they're basically guided to not do anything extreme as to show up the males. Obviously take that with a grain of salt, but some of the stories add up.
ReplyDeleteYep. Poor girl.
ReplyDeleteTwo Things...
ReplyDelete1. Charlotte is going to be over like crazy when she gets the call to the main roster. For her first match, she looked fine.
2. Bayley has a great, fat ass.
On the plus side, she'll probably get the figure four when she gets called up.
ReplyDeleteOn the minus side, she'll probably get paired up with Miz.
That... was actually not bad at all, especially for someone who was in her first match. Better than any match David ever had, and that finisher was pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteWhy does the original poster think that Charlotte will get as many chances as it takes?
ReplyDeleteHow many chances in WWE did David and Reid Flair get?
I can see why they do it at the start, but I hope that they get her father away from ringside soon. His disgusting face and body really don't belong anywhere near a Divas match.
It doesn't matter that she's a goof, AJ is still a good worker!
ReplyDeleteI hear she can go for 60 minutes every night and twice on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHuh huh...you said "her ass"!
ReplyDeleteI think she's pretty fine. Better looking that Hogan's daughter, that's for damn sure.
ReplyDeleteYeah, she is kind of goofy, but I find it attractive...
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't ready to curtain-jerk a D-ball level indy show.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is because gymnastics doesn't pay to well, unless you win an Olympic gold medal and get a shit-ton of endorsements.
ReplyDeleteHe's the only reason she's there. Chill dude.
ReplyDeleteAgreed x2. Dat booty. My god...
ReplyDeleteIt's the reason she got there. It doesn't have to be the reason that she stays.
ReplyDeleteSee Guerrero, Vickie.
id like to my 2 inches in there
ReplyDeleteI meant good. Typing on my phone is hard.
ReplyDeleteYou mean typing on your phone is harf?
ReplyDeleteExactativley
ReplyDeleteOriginal poster here.. I reckon not answering your question would raise your ire more than any answer I could give, so.......
ReplyDeleteDavid Flair, Daphne, and Russo were one of my favorite stables ever. Using a Statue of Liberty as a weapon? Priceless. And the funniest thing ever in wrestling is Russo pointing to a backyard crick and saying Ric used to make David swim through " shark infested waters"!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Russo trainwreck see what sticks era of WCW.
Was David EVER good? I remember him having the same awkward wrestling style all the time, but I stopped watching a year or so before the demise of WCW. He always did that clumsy thing where he'd hold his arms ds out at a 90-degree angle in front of him, like he was supposed to be ready to lock up, but it wasn't high enough to be a real guard, so he just looked like a nerd.
ReplyDeleteY'know what's sad? I was just going to ask if Reid was coming along nicely as a wrestler, and then I remembered...
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping the girl ends up better than David Flair did in the ring. I don't think he EVER got better.
I atleast appreciate that Schiavone would talk about how bad he was in the ring as apposed to buttering him up like Erik Watts
