    So much good stuff in this and I don't want to spoil it for people who are going to watch, but there's interesting thoughts on current talent, why it took him so long to assume the monster heel role, his injuries, etc.

    Rosenberg ALWAYS gives great interviews, primarily because he's a fan.

    It'd be really easy to give a dogshit interview specifically because you're a fan, though. Rosenberg walks the line perfectly between having knowledge/enthusiasm/rapport with the wrestlers, and asking smart, relevant questions. He's great.

    Yeah, this was good stuff- I actually listened for the whole hour, even though I figured I would get bored partway through. Sadly he didn't bring up the guys whose asses he had kicked.

    Funny how he talks about how he didn't take things seriously enough at first, which you can see reflected in his earlier use. I mean, as Sexual Chocolate he was funny, but he was just a joke character- he didn't even really BEAT anybody in that role. Though I think he overestimates himself a bit at other points- he was REALLY notorious for poor ring-work, his obesity got him sent down to the minors at various times (I remember when it was almost a cliche that he'd vanish every once in a while, just like the Big Show), and it seemed like the WWF deliberately gave him shitty non-pushes just to get rid of his inflated contract.

    Good post. Henry is fucking awesome...candid, charismatic, down to earth.

    As far as the Vince thing goes, it makes total sense. It's like saying "I love and have had the best relationship experience with blondes, but this brunette has great character traits and we might be compatible, so why not give it a try." Sure Vince might have his biases but it seems like when a smaller guy comes around with other tangible skills, Vince will give him a look and a push to see If something's there.
