Comments

  1. Looks like a good card for the show at least, this ladder match could be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Michael Vick is going to beat Nick Foles in this quarterback competition.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Wonder what the other four will get as their 20 pt. match?

Also, I'm going to try a recap... but doing it live isn't easy. Especially not with all but the main event being multi-man (or KO) matches.

So be it. It'll just reduce my posting here.

    ReplyDelete
  4. That looked pretty sweet there, Kaz, AJ, Aries, hard to go wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I enjoyed that match, the ending interference fits the storyline quite well . .

    ReplyDelete
  6. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:30 PM

Kaz pushing the ladder on Aries after the match was a nice touch.

    ReplyDelete
  7. If Magnus isn't one of their top stars by the end of the year, they're fucking crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:34 PM

LOL At Rampage getting the boots put to him.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So which Aces & Eights do you want to see fired the most?

Such a tough choice, as aside from the occasional D-Von / Bully tag match I don't really want to see any of them anymore. But I'll go with Anderson.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:34 PM

I think Anderson fits in the group. I want Briscoe or Bischoff out.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Knux is taking that loss, brah. The rest serve some purpose or have people backstage protecting them.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:35 PM

LOL @ Tenay saying 'here they come' as they focused on ODB's rack.

    ReplyDelete
  13. That pink slip line was not good. Otherwise he did okay.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tito takes 5th MEM spot... Either Tito or Rampage take the fall, depending on which one TNA's willing to make an A&8 member.

    That's my current guess.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:39 PM

Gee, a secondary title that wasn't the X Division belt would look real good on him. Didn't they have a radio, uh satelitte title or something??

    ReplyDelete
  16. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 7:40 PM

    Mickie's looking especially tasty tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Incredulous JR voice: "She is hanging that young woman by her own brassiere!"

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thank you for saying so! I made it a point to check her out tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Quick, someone find Abyss!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I did enjoy that set of spots (Brassiere toss of Mickie, Brassiere hang of Gail.) I wasn't so hot on ODB's "no sell" of the ringpost Figure Four. Especially with Mickie kinda/sorta "helping".

    ReplyDelete
  21. Don't worry; if things keep going the way they're going, eventually they'll all be fired.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:03 PM

This is a good promo from Rampage so far.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Rampage is dressed like Scarlett and the Baroness' pimp.

    ReplyDelete
  24. For his relative "greenness", yeah, that was good.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah, he didn't get rattled much by the crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good idea, TNA, building up the match for next week... it might get me to tune in.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:07 PM

.....aaaaaaaaaaaaand Tito fucks it up with his Scott Steiner impersonation.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yes Tito, that is what he asked, for as good as Rampage's green promo was, Tito's green response has been very very bad

    ReplyDelete
  29. *perks up* Brazzers!?

    Oh. False alarm.

    *goes back to sleep*

    ReplyDelete
  30. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:07 PM

I like how they hype up BOTH the Bellator PPV and the TNA match.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:08 PM

Normally that would be my cue for a .gif, but sadly I cannot.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Synergy! Now you're thinking like a soulless corporate manager!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ken Anderson looks like a wrestler when he's walking to the ring.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm sorry. I will let you gentlemen go back to talking about brassieres now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Earl Hebner IS old.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Taz is announcing again? That's a shame.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:25 PM

Somewhere in a rehab, Kurt Angle is mad that he's not part of that finish.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jack Donaghy would be proud.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'll argue that Aces has made him quite useful. No, no world titles or serious main event runs... but as the "out there heel" he could be a good hand.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:32 PM

    "That went WELL..."

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  41. Fairy Godmothers were never so violent, either.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And the "missing four" BfG guys get their match next week. Awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  43. He didn't look out of place in the match. As a non-religlous follower of TNA, my understanding of his reputation is he's kinda terrible? So when I saw him walking to the ring, I thought he at least looked the part.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I already love this cage match because they don't have that stupid rigging around the top of the cage that they do in WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:39 PM

That rigging must make it hard to climb out of the cage.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:39 PM

Kick Tenay's ass in the cage.

    ReplyDelete
  47. He's mostly just kinda limited in the ring. Very basic WWE learned moveset. But he can bring it with brawls.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:43 PM

Now playing the part of Ron Garvin: Chris Sabin.

    ReplyDelete
  49. At least Sabin got one other win over Bully.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He looks the part in the same way Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly looked like wrestlers as well.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:51 PM

    This match is boring.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:53 PM

    Stop downvoting me, jvc113.

    ReplyDelete
  53. THE VEST OF DEATH

    ReplyDelete
  54. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:55 PM

I guess removing that leather vest got rid of the extra couple pounds that allowed Sabin to pick Bully up.

    ReplyDelete
  55. In 03, when Sabin was one of the new indie darlings and Bubba had done that solo run where he was starting to get over as a Dusty-ish everyman (although I think he was back with D-von by then) I could have bought that these two would be at the top of a company. A decade later it seems sorta wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:56 PM

If Sabin had that vest on Bully wouldn't have been able to pick Bully up.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ugh, being able to go through the open door.... and now a ref bump to ruin the cage stip. Stupid stupid stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  58. At least Garvin got to defend at a major PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:58 PM

GET THE FUCK OUTTA THE CAGE, DUMBASS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 8:59 PM

    Darren Young approves that pin.

    ReplyDelete
  61. well that turn was a week early =o_O=

    ReplyDelete
  62. Am I wrong, or was that a clean victory for the heel? I mean, fuck going through the door that cheap as fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  63. You mean the one that got jacked by Vince?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 9:00 PM

I'm still laughing at the, "You shall not pass!" line.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Well Tito and Anderson were wearing similar shirts...

    ReplyDelete
  66. Time to watch John Oliver's last Daily Show.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Allrighty then . . . I'm going to watch Main Event

    ReplyDelete
  68. Four pages of sloppy notes... Not as sloppy as that top rope spot in the main event though.

Guess I'll clean it up tomorrow morning. I'll save my usual post-show comments for it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yeah, Sabin should not have paid attention to the shenanigans going on outside the ring!
He did get a visual pin on Bully after the ref bump... but dems the breaks!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Clean as in Sabin had both the visual pinfall (ref KO) and visual escape (Anderson) wins.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 15, 2013 at 9:08 PM

Good luck with that, my dude.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Look forward to reading it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hardcore Holly... there was time there in 1999/2000 where he was kind of relevant.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The should bring Koslov back to feud with Darren Young.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Exactly. Vince had to throw everything that he had out there to stop the NWA juggernaut.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Your_Favourite_AssholeAugust 15, 2013 at 10:07 PM

the straight hair was a nice touch

    ReplyDelete
  77. Your_Favourite_AssholeAugust 15, 2013 at 10:08 PM

eh, i though he repeated himself too much about the novemeber fight

    ReplyDelete
  78. Your_Favourite_AssholeAugust 15, 2013 at 10:09 PM

    hi taz!

    ReplyDelete
  79. if they took a Kurt Angle/Rey Mysterio-y tone with that, I'd watch the fuck outta it.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonAugust 16, 2013 at 6:08 AM

    "..you're welcome."

    ReplyDelete
  81. WE ARE BEING OPPRESSED! OUR FREEDOM IS BEING TAKEN AWAY! RAND PAUL 2016!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I've thought for some time that Rampage could have made it in wrestling had he decided to go that way... he basically played a character in UFC, and is an entertaining/funny guy.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Easily the best part of the show, though they pissed me off not showing her coming out :-(
