    Just wrote a new blog post about comic books. Particularly, it's about how comics have a stigma put upon them by the general public while just about every other medium (save for perhaps video games) isn't. For example, you wouldn't watch one movie and if you didn't like it, say "Well, movies aren't for me."

    Movies.
    Comics are fine and all, I just sort of grew out of them. Which isn't to say that I think they are only for kids, but for me personally I just lost interest.
    I was never allowed to watch movies much as a kid, and so never developed much of an affinity for the medium. Eventually after seeing "It's Pat the Movie" I largely retired from movie watching because that was the most horrendous piece of garbage ever committed to film.

    But again, "growing out of comics" is my entire point. What if you said the same thing about books? Or music? Or television shows?


    Obviously, I don't know what you're into, but the same argument applies to any form of entertainment. It's a huge medium that isn't relegated to just one thing.

    Yeah, I guess that's true, it's entirely possible that there are comics out there that I would enjoy still. There's nothing inherently wrong or juvenile with them as a form of media.
    Unless someone has made It's Pat the Comic Book. In that case fuck all comics.
