An empty room. Which is funny, because it usually empties AFTER I show up.

I should have said "Oooos" instead of "Ooooooh".

  2. I just want to toss out there that I am fucking sick to stomach that Bray Wyatt vs. Cena might actually happen. I was actually hyped up about the Mania season with Batista coming back, now I could give a fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I know meltzer speculated it but I'd be floored if it happened. Either meltzer is getting worked or he got wind of a throwaway story amd ran with it on a slow news day.

It would be the drizzling shits tho

    ReplyDelete
  4. Just got back from working a 6-8 14 hour shift. Let's see if smackdown can put me to sleep

What I don't understand is why people are questioning why there are no set WM plans. Isn't WM like three months away? How much set up is needed?

    Wassup Farva.

Took the week off, now only the weekend separates me from Back-to-Work Monday. I'm hoping to pick up the flu or something.

This show appears to be heading in the direction of "a lot of 5 minute or less" matches.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yea. Might just phone it in amd read the spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I hear ya. I usually work 10 days on then 10 days off, they think it helps prevent burnout, but on getting back to work after 10 days off is such a bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  12. God, this show is dull

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anyone here have a PS3 that has experienced having it shut off with the red light blinking

    ReplyDelete
  14. When I first bought mine it'd do that years ago. Took it to best buy and they fixed it. They said it was a loose piece of hardware inside it

    ReplyDelete
  15. I got my PS3 about two years after it came out. I got it about 8 years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wait, you mean it won't turn on...like it's stuck in the red light and won't switch to green?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I will turn it on then after ten minutes, it will shut off and the light will blink red.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yea, me to. I got the original big assed one, not that new generation slim one.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Might just say fuck it and get PS4

    ReplyDelete
  20. Maybe this match will be good

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yea, that's what mine would do, except it'd do it like 40 mminutes in. They said it was a piece of loose hardware but they said it was also because it was overheating

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dolph Ziggler's hair is pink? Seriously?

    ReplyDelete
  23. It is running hot so that is probably the issue.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, I saw that. Looks horrendous

    ReplyDelete
  25. Gawd. That is fucking awful. Why just that one little part in the corner also?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Dolph needs to turn back to being a heel. It suits him much better than as a face

    ReplyDelete
  27. Don't high school girls do crap like that to appear rebelious

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yea. He's still a smug douchey dude. Doesn't work well for babyface obviously

    ReplyDelete
  29. This is the least interested crowd I have seen in a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ha yea. Maybe this is Dolphs inner schoolgirl rebelling against Vince.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Dolph cashed in the MITB about 9 months ago. It feels a lot longer than that

    ReplyDelete
  32. What you think...this burial is temporary and they value him long term or he's on the Zach ryder career trajectory?

    ReplyDelete
  33. People crush Rollins mic work, he's not as good as the other 2 but relative to everyone else he's not to bad

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think he is midcarder for life at this point. Running his mouth certainly hasnt helped him any either

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wish they would let Ambrose cut a long promo by himself but yeah, he has improved a good deal since joining the main roster

    ReplyDelete
  36. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:13 PM

So why was Damien Sandow's Santa dirty and grimy. It does not befit his character. They should have had him be like an Ebenezer Scrooge or something.

    ReplyDelete
  37. FTW. I like Sandow

    ReplyDelete
  38. This crowd is fucking awful

    ReplyDelete
  39. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:16 PM

Corpus Christi crowd. Not enough Rey Mysterio.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Eww, bad thought to the rumor du jour. Since the Wyatts are still in Bryan's realm, They interfere at the Rumble 3 way (is that even a thing yet?) Cena, about to beat Orton, because fuck you, sees Bryan getting manhandled, because of distraction, Orton retains, you now have a heatless, finish never in doubt main event lined up for Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Solid tv shot of a dark arena with bryan in the spotlight in the middle of the ring

    ReplyDelete
  42. That's the weirdest LED ever, generates enough heat to wear a glove, needs to be blown out, produces light from the ground up

    ReplyDelete
  43. You had me at heartless finish

    ReplyDelete
  44. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:23 PM

I'm working on a thread for the blog, to be posted in about a week or so. The Top 5 January PPV matches of all time. Anyone have an issue with Chris Benoit being in two of the matches and getting three more honorable mentions?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Naw, if thats the way it works out, thats the way it works out. There are a TON of great January ppv matches I can think of off the top of my head. Interested in ur list.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:29 PM

    Tune in NEXT WEEK!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh I will. If foley/hhh isnt #1, get ready for a spirited debate

    ReplyDelete
  48. Not that I expect Punk to live tweet taped smackdown, but still enjoy his running commentaries on Hockey whenever WWE is on. He should have someone tweet hockey from his account during his matches at this point

    ReplyDelete
  49. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:38 PM

I've always seen Mark Henry as looking somewhat like a pissed off Barry White. They should give him back his Sexual Chocolate theme, and keep the pissed off persona.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Show worth a view this week?

    ReplyDelete
  51. It's going to be a ten minute war.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Been all matches, pretty straightforward place holder show

    ReplyDelete
  53. So a typical Smackdown? :D

    ReplyDelete
  54. Exactly. Cena/rollins main event. Might be ok

    ReplyDelete
  55. Might tune in for that. Rollins is great.

    ReplyDelete
  56. No problems here. His in-ring work should never be forgotten.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Nah, especially in team/multiple type participant sports. For every great Benoit match, there's at least one other person in there busting their ass.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Im okay not remembering his matches. Which sucks because I loved his Jericho feud.

    ReplyDelete
  59. WWE only? Not that there would be a ton from WCW that would qualify.

    ReplyDelete
  60. This main event has been pretty good

    ReplyDelete
  61. Cenas in ring work reminds me a lot of Sting. They'll mostly have often have great matches and I think it's unfair to say people "carried them."

Then they have a few matches in between that are just awful.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm going be really pissed when super cena wins

    ReplyDelete
  63. Cenas much better then sting imo

    ReplyDelete
  64. Sting and Cena are a fair comparison in work rate

    ReplyDelete
  65. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:56 PM

OK. If you're reading this and not watching the show, skip all the filler, and watch the main event. Cena and Rollins are killing it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Its coming. Deep breaths, deep breaths

    ReplyDelete
  67. Stranger in the AlpsDecember 27, 2013 at 7:58 PM

WWF/E and WCW only. WCW didn't run a regular January PPV until 1997, believe it or not.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I will say I'm happy Rollins was allowed a long match with a lot of offense.

    ReplyDelete
  69. ....Henry destroying Cena here would be fantastic....though depending on my mood and how high Cena has risen above, you could insert any name for Henry a lot of the time

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well, since you mentioned you're including Benoit, mine as well go ahead and guess that his match with Raven is included.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Mr. Satan (Pat P. Pro)December 27, 2013 at 8:24 PM

Great show tonight, actually. I like how X beat Y with a rollup after Y was distracted by Z.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Mr. Satan (Pat P. Pro)December 27, 2013 at 8:24 PM

Oh, and W is on a losing streak, so I guess the company's hot on him.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I missed a Smackdown thread, man. Well, good show anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Cena is a waaaaaaaaay better worker than sting. Sting is (or more accurately was) a good worker but honesty that comparison is insulting to cena.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Cena vs Rollins? Nice!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I had a 40GB Fat version, upgraded to a 250GB Slim version a couple years back for the extra space.
