In the midst of recapping the PPV on the show this morning, Dave offhandedly described a certain cartoon going around the WWE offices, in typical cryptic Dave Meltzerese. The gist seems to be a spoof of AJ as a teenager crying because she wants to be "just like Lita". And then they leave it at that because I'm sure we can all fill in the blanks.
So yeah, if someone could get a copy of that for posterity...
So yeah, if someone could get a copy of that for posterity...
Can't do it now because I'm at work, but if it's on the internet I'll ask the usual scumbags and degenerates that I go to for things to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteIs it this?
ReplyDeleteThat's actually funny. Especially the Wolverine Punk reference...
ReplyDeleteSo...you'll check Reddit?
ReplyDeletehaha, that can't be Punk--the cartoon depicts him with actual muscles ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a safe image/site. No worries.
ReplyDeleteThis is stupid, why not make cartoons that compares everyone who has a wellness violation to 96 hbk or everyone who does steroids to the ultimate warrior. Oh wait, because that would actually bring attention to transgressions youve allowed as a comlany
ReplyDeleteDoes this lead to AJ banging luchadores in Mexico as well?
ReplyDeleteI know I touched on it yesterday but between getting made fun of for her belt tattoo, passing out and now this, I cant imagine that AJ is well liked in the locker room. Wonder what she did?
ReplyDeleteGot over more than the rest of the Divas, especially the "mainstream" Total Divas, combined?
ReplyDeleteI doubt that. Although, she strikes me as an overachiever, which could lead to something like that.
ReplyDeleteIf she leaves WWE for AAA, and brings ADR/"Original" Sin Cara with her... the answer is YES!
ReplyDeleteI thought you meant the Scooby-Doo/WWE DVD to be coming in March. I wonder what your feelings are on THAT, Scott...
ReplyDeleteShe gonna get tag-teamed by Rey Bucanero & Ultimo Guerrero?
ReplyDeleteThe irony of wwe calling aj out for being unprofessional yesterday, then circulating a high school level cartoon doesnt strike anyone else?
ReplyDeleteIt's WWE. Double standards and a high school quad mentality are part of the company as much as "sports entertainment" and celebrity outreach.
ReplyDeleteFIVE STARS! CROSSOVER MOVIE OF THE MILLENNIUM! AND IT HAS HHH AS THE CHAMP ON THE COVER!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it just further shows how much of a boys club wrestling is and how misogynistic it can be.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure since he has a kid, he will be watching it eventually.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many times her gym bag or belt has been shat in/on.
ReplyDeleteIn the case of the tattoo and the cartoon, it seems like more of the non-roster employees have been the ones talking crap and making a fuss. She seems to get along just fine with the boys (Ziggler, Big E, and Punk at least were regular travel buddies of hers) and NXT girls she came up with.
ReplyDeleteIt's more of the non-wrestlers who are being a star in this case.
We should find that out in a shoot interview one day.
ReplyDeleteI heard that Beadle jokingly called Punk "fuckface" and he took offense. Not just AJ.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you read this?
ReplyDeleteActually cares about wrestling as a female performer.
ReplyDeleteThe WWE backstage world is no better than high school.
ReplyDeleteDidn't get that at first, but funny.
ReplyDeleteThe world is, often.
ReplyDeleteThat may not be far off from the truth.
ReplyDeleteIts funny, but id absolutely bet this annoys people in the back
ReplyDeleteWWE: We're high school for adults
ReplyDeleteWe're one A-J chant away from Vince blowing a gasket, GODDAMMIT
ReplyDeleteThis doesnt mention "fuckface", but pretty much the same version I read somewhere else:
ReplyDeleteFROM PWInsider:
However, the word making the way among wrestlers backstage at TLC today was that Lee approached Beadle not out of jealousy but because Beadle had spoken to Punk in a disrespectful manner. The version wrestlers have been passing around is that Lee approached Beadle after Beadle had a conversation with CM Punk, not during a conversation between the two.
Beadle allegedly said something in a disrespectful manner that allegedly upset Punk, which led to Lee looking for her. That comment (we have heard several versions and can't confirm what it actually was) led to Lee telling Beadle that she was not to speak to Punk in such a manner again and if she did, there would be issues between the two. Beadle then reported the incident to WWE.
Christ, the WWE would (should) get so sued for this shit if it were any normal industry...
ReplyDeleteIMHO, Beadle is some wanna be superstar celebrity chick who thinks her shit doesn't stink.
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, she is the most memorable diva of the last 3-2 years for me.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the higher up hear that, she could end up on Total Divas.
ReplyDeleteYou know what's awesome about wrestling?
ReplyDeleteIf you were a kid or a young worker who loved wrestling all their life, aspired to join the WWE and you were to ask Vince or HHH what it takes to make it, you'd be told that you have to love the business, love the magic and the spectacle, but be willing to make sacrifices.
So you do and you make it.
And then when you mention how much you love the magic and the spectacle and the business as a whole and all the sacrifices you made to achieve your dream?
You get called a fucking mark and your stock drops in the eyes of the people who control your career.
Cool! SIGN ME UP TWICE, YOU GUYS.
To mock someone because, as a kid, they bought what you were selling and were a fan of your product is absolutely baffling.
And the belt tattoo thing is equally absurd. If someone is proud of achieving something they wanted to achieve since childhood (that the WWE apparently doesn't think being a champion is anything that matters shows in their booking and is an entirely different problem all by itself) and they commemorate it with a small tattoo that's not even visible 95% of the time, that's something to giggle and give the side eye over? For fucking real?
Wow. What an awesome business.
BE A STAR WWE!
ReplyDeleteYou summed it up perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWas that picture down there the actual pic everyone's referring to?
ReplyDeleteNo. The cats I know live by Rule 34 and if it DOESN'T exist they'll make it.
ReplyDeleteIm not sure but im assuming it is
ReplyDeleteGetting buried on commentary is usually from Vince and I never recalled AJ bashing anyone publically so I wonder if something else happened.
ReplyDeleteFunny that the artist signed it. I expected a lot...more./
ReplyDeleteThen that is a poor drawing of Lita, she looks like Jeff Hardy there.
ReplyDeleteSome have tried.
ReplyDeleteEven stranger was the fact that Meltzer reported that the WWE wanted Beadle to send out the tweet she did yesterday explaning what happened. He also said that AJ was reported to have acted just like her character during the incident. This story seems really odd.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the cartoon waant even that funny. If youre gonna do some high school level humor, at least do it up right...completely over the top and offensive!
ReplyDeleteHe draws just like how the people write in creative.
ReplyDelete"What the hell? The fans are cheering her?! They get excited to see her?
ReplyDeleteFIRE HER! DAMMIT, FIRE HER RIGHT NOW! WE CAN'T HAVE THAT KIND OF SHIT IN MY BUSINESS!"
Chances its a work leading to a shitty WM spot by beadle?
ReplyDeleteMost places are like that though. When you get older, you just play nice for people you do not like.
ReplyDeleteWhich two divas care most about actual wrestling: Nattie and AJ. Which two divas get crapped on the most? Nattie and AJ.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for a company that is so concerned about its public imagine, they sure don't mind a little sexual harassment when it comes to AJ.
Crap, you may be right.
ReplyDeleteBret apparently used to do cartoons all the time on the whiteboard backstage. Of course, his were always in harmless jest and many times, the person he drew would get a kick out of it.
ReplyDeleteI'd hope not.
ReplyDeleteI think you just insulted the artist.
ReplyDeleteCreative's stuff is more like this: http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/ponytail1414/ponytail14140908/ponytail1414090800041/5451620-drawing-of-little-girl-holding-a-flower-in-the-style-of-a-child-s-crayon-drawing.jpg
And that's on a good day.
Oh, Goddammit. And it'll probably knock Dolph Ziggler out of the card or something.
ReplyDeleteI guess there is a reason why Punks pipe bomb got cut off when he started to talk about the anti bulling campaign.
ReplyDeletePerhaps this is an overreach given the circumstances, but I think people need to remember that 'the business' hasn't really changed ALL that much in the last twenty years. There's a shiny new coat of paint atop everything, but the sleaziness behind the scenes has been in place for decades now. With few exceptions, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and Vince has proven ad infinitum how much of a drizzling douche he is over a lot of things. It stands to reason that some of his underlings / company hires would reflect that scuzz bucket mentality.
ReplyDelete"Oh, dont be silly. Thats not sexual harassment, I never even pulled my dick out for her." - VKM
ReplyDeleteI bet Natalya does too and she isnt get made fun of for that
ReplyDeleteThen what the fuck was Farting Natalya?
ReplyDeleteYep. They can talk all they want about respect, honour, etc, but the wrestling business is a very dirty business with a lot crazies and assholes. There are some legitimate nice people in the business, of course, but you really need to have a thick skin to survive in it.
ReplyDeleteIt's partly why I didn't make it past wrestling school about six years ago. That's a long story.
She got a FARTING gimmick. On TV. Where the joke was SHE FARTED.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the farts
ReplyDeleteTo knock him out of the card would assume he'd be on the card at all. When's the last time he was even on a PPV?
ReplyDeleteI remember there was a small period of time when I was a teenager when I wanted to become a WWE writer, then I heard about the horrendous way they're treated and was like "LOL NOPE."
ReplyDeleteWork will not let me see the cartoon damnit.
ReplyDeleteFor the win.
ReplyDeleteDo they take requests? I'm asking for a friend.
ReplyDeleteIt's right below and very Jef safe, promise.
ReplyDeleteYea, the whole story, especially the part about beadles tweet just seems so weird. If this leads to a beadle vs aj match...I will not be happy
ReplyDeleteNo, I thought I was blocked from the hosting site, but I was able to get it.
ReplyDeleteI guess the idea is that she so wants to follow in Lita's footsteps that she even wants to ride the same dick? Fine concept, but not really that funny in the execution.
When was the last time we had a woman's championship match or any kind at WM, 22? They need another one, I am getting tired of all the celebrity tags, the multi diva tags, just give me a championship match.
ReplyDeleteWhich Divas what are they doing and would you like it Hi resolution?
ReplyDeleteI'm on it,..I mean..uh, yeah. over the top..
ReplyDeleteThis type of sense of humor reminds me of a keller podcast I heard with an ex writer a few months ago. He said Vince LOVED Borat, watched it like 3 times on 1 plane ride. Said Vince was saying shit like "See, this is the kind of stuff we should be doing on Raw." Sure Vince, shit in a bag jokes on Raw. Yes!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping Lawler drew it. He's actually a very good artist.
ReplyDeleteI like how critical you are in describing it while everyone else is yelling up and down about how terrible it is and how WWE should be sued.
ReplyDeleteVince has heard of Borat? Impressive, he's catching up it seems. He used to be a decade+ behind, now he's only seven years behind?
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, they have Orton for that.
ReplyDeleteI'm not easily offended.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till he sees Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
ReplyDeleteYeah, he's still miles above Creative's talent. His stuff would compare to much better wrestling.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing about AJ, what other diva has been booked stronger than her over the past couple of years?
ReplyDeleteShe was plugged into a main event angle and got over after that.
Then they made her the GM. A major role. She failed, even though it was a role that was not going to get her over because it doesnt play to her strengths. AJ is not a utility player. She isnt the Phil Hartman of divas. She has a character and can work well within that character.
Since then, she has been booked strong as the champion. She is not getting buried week after week like others do. Look on WWE Shopzone. There is no other diva with more than 2 merchandise items and she has about 40.
They obvioulsy see potential in AJ but the getting buried stuff, maybe she is a pain in the ass to deal with behind the scenes. They arent punishing her for being passionate about wrestling, she has the belt and has been booked better than any other diva. They are punishing her for something else. I just dont know what
How exactly is she being punished? What am I missing?
ReplyDeleteAnd you think she got that gimmick for being passioonate about wrestling?
ReplyDeleteTwo points
ReplyDelete1. There's a thing called supply and demand. If fans weren't buying her stuff, there wouldn't be that many items of hers. Judging by the hundreds of twitter pics of fans wearing her stuff (and this is just anecdotal of what I've seen with my eyes), I'd say it's safe to assume that she's justified the push given. Hell, take another look at the promo she cut and match she had last night--what other woman is capable of doing both so well?
2. I'm not sure if many people are saying she's getting buried. But the "gotcha" moments when on guest commentary, the backstage rumors of the higher ups laughing at her, and this cartoon certainly have people fearing the worst is yet to come. And, at the very least, the nerdy girl is getting treated/bullied like a nerd--pissing off a good segment of the audience here.
punished is probably the wrong word but getting made fun of backstage and on commentary is what is going on.
ReplyDeleteIt would be average for WWE's recent history.
ReplyDeleteI think it's just a combination of being a mark for the business and being very awkward socially. Any time she has a non-WWE interview, she's very jittery and acts like a 7th Grader trying to give a speech with all of her nervous ticks
ReplyDeleteAJ has been pushed stornger than any other diva since Trish Stratus. That was in the response to the people somehow thinking that AJ is punished for being passionate, which is asinine.
ReplyDeleteThe cartoon thing being passed around tells me that people must not be fans of her at all and some of that is probably due to AJ herself and her behaviors. What other diva has been reported fliipng out backstage recently? Sometimes, people create an image for themselves that just is for the public. Maybe, just maybe, AJ isnt the golden child like a lot her want to believe.
I remember some interview with a female independent wrestler, forget teh name but she sounded bitter so I didnt put too much stock in this, but she said that AJ would basically fuck anyone or fuck over anyone to get to the top. Like I said, not sure how much they were too be believed but lots of people HATE that type of person and the cartoon being passed around would fit right into that situation.
World Wrestling Entertainment
ReplyDeleteFormerly Bayside High
Glad to see Vince registered to offer his opinion in downvote form.
ReplyDeleteMeh...the cartoon looks like someone just trying to be funny. As for the backstage stuff and commentary, it seems like nearly every one of them gets put through the ringer at one time or another. Maybe it's because she was a mark and sort of continues to be one...Stan Ford sort of spelled it out nicely a bit further down, though I don't know if that's really the case, or if there's just a group of people that don't like her.
ReplyDeleteI really still have a hard time reconciling Devil VKM with how Foley generally talks about him...maybe that says more about Mick than anything else.
I cant speak for everyone, but this cartoon thing is just annoyning because it seems hypocritical to me. They slam her for being unprofessional, then circulate a high school level cartoon? Its just as unfair to punk...let people fuck or do whatever in their personal lives.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with you that she musy annoy people or have some quality that turns people off in the back. For all this stuff to get leaked, and for her essentially to be the butt of all these jokes, she must have done something or pissed off the wrong people for it to continually happen. I have no idea what it is tho
There's a lot of self-loathing that goes into that, as well. Basically, the people in charge have such a low opinion of the business itself that they can't respect anyone who is actually a mark for said business.
ReplyDeleteI still think a Zach Morris-like character would be perfect for Dolph.
ReplyDeleteWith tears in their eyes.
ReplyDeleteI'd pay big money to see Ziggler use "Time out!" as his finisher.
ReplyDeleteThose reasons do not add up to why the cartoon is being passed around though
ReplyDeleteDDP said it best: Titles are awarded to wrestlers by their peers. Why would you not want to celebrate that?
ReplyDeleteNow I don't like the design of her tat, but I don't know her for getting something to commemorate the fact that she's at the top of her game and respected enough by the higher for them to recognize them as their champion.
Because most of the guys there are misogynist jerks, I'd say. Many of these jerks are talented and brilliant, but they are jerks. And AJ is an easy target. Note that the cartoon is still making fun of her markdom and geekdom.
ReplyDeleteYou are cranky today
ReplyDeleteWell it IS Monday.
ReplyDeleteYou say misogynistic like it is a bad thing...
ReplyDeleteA valid point
ReplyDeleteSomebody's got a case of the Mondays!
ReplyDeleteOnly thing I can remember is when King was hitting on her and she told him to fuck off because she was too old for him.
ReplyDeleteAnother great use for Dennis Haskins!
ReplyDeleteSame here. In more than one way.
ReplyDeleteI had the same experience in my brief attempt at wrestling school... just a horrible group of people and environment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to AJ for joining the ranks of Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar, Invasion, Montreal Screwjob, Not-Heel John Cena, and Heel Steve Austin for being an automatic hot button issue.
ReplyDeleteIt also makes a nice Donkey Punch target
ReplyDeleteI think we should get Farva to put up a post about this. I think we have 4-5 people here who have been through wrestling school. It'd be nice to hear about the different experiences
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Ziggler being on the card to begin with
ReplyDeleteRight? How hard would it be to have someone on fiverr do something right?
ReplyDeleteHa. I didnt think so but you could be right. Only got 3 hours of sleep, then had to leave at 500am to take my parents to the airport.
ReplyDeleteThis AJ thing just rubbed me the wrong way also. Like seriously, youre a publicly traded company, run BE A STAR campaigns, and criticized AJ for being unprofessional yesterday, and this is the stuff you circulate in the offices?
I just sat in on a wrestling school meeting for a school project.
ReplyDeleteThe instructor was incredibly nice to me, so they aren't ALL assholes.
When I was in college I had a friend who was trying to break into wrestling. He was a nice guy and I didn't want to discourage him, but privately I remember thinking, "they're going to eat you alive, man".
ReplyDeleteyou missed finger poke of doom.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Petuka, this would make for a good thread.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I refuse to beleive that the sole reason for this cartoon is because guys are jerks and that AJ is an easy target. There is more to it than that.
ReplyDeleteMaybe AJ is the type of person that treats people that can not help further her career like shit or something?
AJ has some enemies in the locker room. Wonder how that came about.
The instructor at the school I went to is a friend, he is not an asshole (well at least not as an instructor) but the overwhelming majority of everyone involved is.
ReplyDeleteAnnoying people get made of fun at work. I don't see the problem but I would find it hysterical if Vince buries his ONLY over diva for getting some heat with a d-list celebrity
ReplyDeleteThey are just fucking around with her because they don't like her personality.
ReplyDeleteWe love us some AJ.
ReplyDeleteA + wrestlers too
ReplyDeleteOr she's a lousy human being no one likes.
ReplyDeleteYouve been on fire with the donkey punch references
ReplyDeleteThanks... though I don't recall making any others.
ReplyDeleteIt was done by the wwe. You can't expect much
ReplyDeleteHe needs the oversized cell phone and to film vignettes inside of "The Maxx" for this to work
ReplyDeleteI can honestly see Chikara doing something like that (if they ever start up again)
ReplyDeleteOr we'd like to! amirite?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteThis! Worst... topic... ever!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. I was JUST thinking that its kinda a dumb thing to be talking about in general, but then realized I was kinda invested in this thread. Def hot button issue
ReplyDeletePlus he'd have to change his name to Marris Zoch.
ReplyDeleteIf Zach Ryder isnt Screech...
ReplyDelete"Let's book a former sports center non-anchor who hasn't been on ESPN in 3 years and whose "big show" got such bad ratings the NBC sports channel (that no one has ever seen) canceled it. " Smh they don't know pop culture at all
ReplyDeleteHe would be jobbing his girlfriend to... Jeff? (I think that is the guy Kelly left Zach for)
ReplyDeleteSo who's Slater? A turned Roman Reigns?
ReplyDeleteHmmm, not sure. Think Rock would be zach, coolest guy in the room. Maybe Cena is Slater...kinda boring super jock? Ive just given this way to much thought
ReplyDeleteWhat your missing is that (especially for the old school guys like Vince) the carny business is at the heart of pro westlings history. When your going carny you are hustling rubes for money. The carny doesn't respect the mark. To Vince, Patterson, hhh, etc fans of the wwe are just marks on the boardwalk. Take their money and tell them to fuck off
ReplyDeleteIf they hired Dustin Diamond as his manager it would be money.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about we'll be talking about this for 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ryder.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'll get shit on for the is since AJ is the blog cause du jour, but oh well...
ReplyDeleteEver met that girl who will suck up to and suck off anyone that can help her cause? I have. And she was universally made fun of and nobody liked her except the recipient of her oral skills that week.
She's good enough at what she does to do it without the help, which is worse. *If* she is like that, which is what I'm starting to think, then there's your answer.
Wrestling is a weird circle of self loathing.
ReplyDeleteHad to call him... he'd like Trish, Mickie, and AJ in a three-way. As long as he can see tits and "hoo-hah"s (his words), he doesn't care what they're doing. And he'd also like hi-res.
ReplyDeleteWho's Kelly and Lisa?
ReplyDeleteIts so dumb. Maybe 10% of the population knlws who beadle is? Would any of them give a shit if shes on a wrestling show? At least snooki had some main stream appeal/recognition
ReplyDeleteThis is what I have been hinting at this thread. Maybe, she is disliked because of this behavior. Seems a lot more plausible than her being passionate
ReplyDeleteKinda surprised Punk hasn't had a talk with this guy.
ReplyDeleteLisa is AJ. Kelly is... ???. Jesse is Tamina.
ReplyDeleteYou want to believe she is evil. That's fine. You don't like her and you don't understand why fans love her. That's fine. But from what I could tell, she is liked by some in the locker room, she's a mark and a nerd, and she's socially inept/awkward. If she is awkward enough where people would consider her socially retarded--in an industry notorious for bullying--this makes sense to me. If the social awkwardness led to her seeming like a bitch to some people, that would make sense, too.
ReplyDeleteI just think back to high school days... the ones who were bullied were just the ones who were awkward and didn't have the tools to cope or engage the bully.
What is funny is that Vince is so dead set on going mainstream and protecting stars that he has exposed the business in way I never thought possible.
ReplyDeleteOrton has to be Screech
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's personal on some sub..I'm sorry, couldn't say it with a straight face.
ReplyDeletePunk doesn't seem like the "chivalrous, stand up for your woman" sort. She's just the latest in a long line of walking mattresses for him anyhow.
ReplyDeleteI'm raiding TNA for "Screech"... Rockstar Spud, that British guy who's Dixie's "servant".
ReplyDeleteYeah I basically agree with this. I'd just add that those kind of people also tend to treat others like shit as they slide up the ladder. Its very easy for me to imagine people hating aj.
ReplyDeleteHa, walking mattresses.
ReplyDeletePunk: "This is ALL wrong. AJ likes to ride me BACKWARDS so I can put my finger in her as-"
ReplyDelete***PLEASE STAND BY**
Really? Her being a cock-sucking nerd bitch is more plausible than anything else? That's what we've surmised from all of this? Smdh
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Punk would think if he ever saw this gimmick.
ReplyDeleteBecause when women like to have sex, its bad! But these guys can go on the road with a different ring rat nightly and its A-OK!
ReplyDeletePunk: "How does this guy know so much about me?"
ReplyDeleteWhy" Dustin Diamond is/was a wrestling fan.
ReplyDeleteTime to put up another restraining order.
ReplyDeleteAnd unless she's blowing HHH or Vince, who else has the pull to put her in the position she's in?
ReplyDeleteYes. You are right.
ReplyDeleteShe is over for a diva but you're 100% wrong about this being a nerd getting bullied. This is about an unlikeable bitch who thinks she better than everyone and tries to gain traction politically by fucking top guys getting ribbed by--people who don't like her. I doubt she gets depushed as long as she takes it in stride. Although can you even depush a diva?
ReplyDeleteIf we can use celebs, absolutely.
ReplyDeleteI'm making it off the current roster, and not using anyone in the main event.
It doesn't have to be someone in management. Girls like that will gravitate towards someone who is well liked or indispensable because they think it makes THEM well liked or indispensable.
ReplyDeleteOhh, and then they can form the Zoch Attock stable!
ReplyDeleteAJ could get t-boned by a semi and Bayless would blame it on her personality and the 'fact' no one likes her.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can tell she isn't liked by anyone. And treating a adult piece of shit like a piece of shit isn't bullying.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you worked for the company. I apologize for my 100% wrongness. It'll never happen again
ReplyDeleteMay I borrow your Jump to Conclusions mat?
ReplyDeletePeople are very divided one their thoughts of AJ today.
ReplyDeleteCan they come out to the hit song, "Friends Forever"?
ReplyDeleteWell, his avatar is HHH.
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, Bayless...we have angered the (white) knights of the (basement) roundtable. Run!
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not think she is evil. I do not hate her. Just because I so not think she is the greatest diva ever doesnt mean I hate her or think she is evil.
ReplyDeleteI kinda get her popularity but the way her fans defend fan her on everything is just insane.
Getting a tattoo of the date you won a belt and tweeting photos of fans wearing your merchandise doesnt automatically make you a great person
Instead of saying that people are ragging on her solely for being passionate about wrestling, I am trying to figure out as to why this is happening because being passionate is the lamest answer to that question I can think of. Plus, she was flipping out and swearing backstage, was that due to her passion about wrestling.
Wrong or not. I side with the group that would put it in her butt.
ReplyDeleteSo, she waited until she was signed, picked up by the main roster, got over, stayed over, and won the championship... then decided to suck Punk's dick because he was indispensable? That's the timeline we're operating on. I'm pretty sure the Punk/AJ thing started a few months ago.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't have an opinion of her either way. She's cute with a distinct character (don't really care about her wrestling ability since even the best of today's Diva matches are only okay), but I'm not enamored or anything. I just find all of Bayless and Jobber's comments funny because it's instantly "Everyone hates her because she's a bitch!" any time AJ is mentioned.
ReplyDeleteAj could stab arn Anderson with a pair of scissors and the rest of guys would blame it on backstage misogyny. We get it, you think she's just like you (not nick saikley specifically, its a collective you). SHES A FITNESS MODEL WHO EVERYONE DROOLS OVER. SHES NOT A SOCIALLY ACKWARD NERD WHO NEEDS WHITE KNIGHTS RUSHING TO HER DEFENCE. I'll bet you dollar whatever nerdy personality trait people think she has is a work. She's a 9 everyone wants to fuck. She gets her ass kissed and gets placated constantly. I'm glad the locker room fucks with her.
ReplyDeleteLet's keep the option that this is all a work on the table.
ReplyDelete"Acquaintances Always"
ReplyDeleteMake no mistake - I may think she is a dirty slutbag mark, but aren't we ALL on the side that would put in her butt?
ReplyDeleteThan being passioante about wrestling. Yes.
ReplyDeleteYou honestly think that people are made fun of more for being passioante than they are for being perceived as doing whatever it takes to get ahead?
And I am not even saying that she does this, just implying that she is doing something to piss peple off.
I know it is tough for some people here not to look at AJ through rose-colored glasses but she is doing something.
Getting made fun of on air for passing out and a tattoo is ridiculous and the cartoon thing is childish, although not terribly graphic or anything, but you think this reason for this is solely due to her passion. Gimme a break
There is too much partisanship where AJ is involved. No matter her personality, that kind of shit (the water rib, the belt tattoo rib, the cartoon) would NOT be tolerated in a "normal" corporation for long, before the lawsuits start flying.
ReplyDeleteBut WWE has never been, and will never be, a "normal" corporation. So shit like that is par for the course, and the discussion that follows isn't a surprise.
Maybe that should be a poll question.
ReplyDeleteHey guys guess what, aj isn't gonna read this thread and even if she does she's not going to fuck you. Sorry she's a fitness model, not a mousey nerdy girl waiting for you to save her.
ReplyDeleteThe whole "evil" thing was just a cheeky-and-not-to-be-taken-seriously comment. Still, we're just running around in circles here. We see this in different ways. I can concede some things, but we're not going to meet in the middle on this. Oh well
ReplyDeleteHe'd probably blame Colt Cabana.
ReplyDelete
