Pre-show is less than a minute away.  IT'S TIME TO RUMBLE!

Comments

  1. Pre-show has begun. We're minutes away from kicking off with the Old Age Outlaws.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I think a little piece of me dies when I see that a TAX SERVICE company has sponsored tonight's show.

    ReplyDelete
  3. The set is identical to RAW.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Holy hell, Duggan, HBK, and Flair on the PPV panel? That's an eclectic mix.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I really hate their set designs for the last few years. They all look the same.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Me too. I miss how every event had their own feel.

    ReplyDelete
  7. HBK shaved...a little. Very classy.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I keep thinking Duggan and Flair are going to have a "HOOOO!" and "WOOOO!" battle.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Royal Rumble "I'm gonna win" promos or GTFO

    ReplyDelete
  10. Who put Skinner on the panel?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Duggan in a suit just looks bizarre.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Was that Michaels' subtle way of shitting all over this entire idea of "analysis"?

    ReplyDelete
  13. WWE did a sim of the Rumble match on 2k14 and Batista won. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk4znPqIIIo

    ReplyDelete
  14. The thing is that these panels don't make much sense when the WWE sells this as entertainment and not as a legitimate activity.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Renee Young seems like the coolest woman in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Damn quite the panel

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'll join you Renee....

    ReplyDelete
  18. That woman betting her money on Reigns is gonna lose it....

    ReplyDelete
  19. Cant they be both....

    ReplyDelete
  20. Renee Young is too good, I expect her to be pedigreed within the week.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Road Dogg's second generation too, Hacksaw.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maybe, but they pound in threw various means that this stuff isn't real and then try to say that it is at the same time. Drives me nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Big Ben is in attendance, I have a feeling Renee is locked in some bathroom at the moment....

    ReplyDelete
  24. Or be called a horse face or something. I'm sure they'll have Michael Cole bully her soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Something something Renee Young something something interracial sex

    ReplyDelete
  26. Interns probably sat there for 10 hours until finally Batista won it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mr. Cena is making a run-in tonight isn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  28. That's a great setup for a no-holds-barred garbage brawl. Unfortunately, Cena/Orton has been billed all along as a straight wrestling match.

    ReplyDelete
  29. JBL seemed more over than Lawler, thats odd....

    ReplyDelete
  30. Here's a idea for Orton, after losing the title, how about continue this crazy batshit style of gimmick.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If Vince Russo was booking this, Mr. Cena would turn on John and join Orton.

    ReplyDelete
  32. How about he takes a vacation to Parts Unknown...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Shit, Kane's not manning the tumbler.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Id be down with that....

    ReplyDelete
  35. forever,well that's a nice idea.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Id be fine if he did a HHH like job to Warrior at WM...

    ReplyDelete
  37. Look''s like all hope is gone.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sandow deserves to move up the card....

    ReplyDelete
  39. Or actually be on it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Drop the interracial, and there's my line.

    ReplyDelete
  41. OBNOXIOUS FAKE LAUGHTER!

    ReplyDelete
  42. So has it been stated whether or not Brock and Bryan are in the Rumble? Because the match becomes 16x more interesting with those two in the match.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well, he'll be #2, seems like.

    ReplyDelete
  44. There was a dreaded Daniel Bryan glitch they had to keep dealing with....

    ReplyDelete
  45. What's your favorite rumble perfomance

Ric Flair takes the prize for me,the booking was perfect,Flair was badass and at the same time a coward for stealing and begging for mercy.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Bryan/Wyatt opens the show.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Bryan's gotta be a surprise entrant.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I just re-watched '92 yesterday. It really is perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Which would be a nice way to showcase him, my guess is he gets dumped within a minute of Rumble starting...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yes! chants, which obviously means Vince is gonna call an audible and give Big Show a Royal Rumble win

    ReplyDelete
  51. Age has not been fair to Flair.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Rko,Warrior gets 5 moves goodbye. On the next raw,Randy announces his retirement. It's sad cuz i loved his Legend killer stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Define irony: The New Age Outlaws won their first tag team titles in 1998, coming in as the hot new team, pointing out how old and busted the Road Warriors were throughout the entire feud. Fast-forward 16 years later and the Outlaws are now the old and busted team, yet somehow still in the tag title picture.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Neither have his 30 ex wives....

    ReplyDelete
  55. And even had comedy as floped around the ring and begged for mercy,it felt so authentic.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hey if they can help get the Rhodes over even more, it works....

    ReplyDelete
  57. And sadly winning more matches than the LOD!

    ReplyDelete
  58. How come they don't just put the pre show on tv when you order the show?

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't care how old NAO are, "Oh you didn't know?" is still fun as hell to yell.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Someone tell the Outlaws they're heels. Oh well, they're just emulating their buddy Hunter.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Pretty sure that Rumble featured the best roster in the history of the Rumble too....

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm still baffled that Road Dogg is younger than the Rumble favorite, Batista.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I know this guys are "too old" but at least they can work a crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  64. New Age Outlaws: Graduates of the Hunter/Steph School of "We're Heels, Except When We're Not"

    ReplyDelete
  65. Heenan's commentary was a huge part of it too.

    ReplyDelete
  66. They did this shtick when they were heels too, but they insulted the crowd. Not doing that here, though, so yeah, makes no sense.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Your PG Rating better call somebody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. 45 year old men telling the crowd to "suck it".

    ReplyDelete
  69. I knew Batista is old, but he's that old?!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. There are no longer "Heels" and "Faces".....

    ReplyDelete
  71. The crowd does realize that NAO are the heels here right?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yep. 45. Road Dogg is 44.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  74. I haven't been this excited for a show that's probably going to piss me off since the last time I got excited for a show that pissed me off.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Plenty of bullshit still, though.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Pat Patterson still booking shit....

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yeah, we know what Hunter and Steph told Vince so they could pull their shit.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Porn-Peddling Jef VinsonJanuary 26, 2014 at 5:46 PM

    Or his creditors.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Do you really want to tell Goldust to suck it?

    ReplyDelete
  80. That giant Royal Rumble sign is almost a throwback to the hanging banners they used to use.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Take your top off, Billy. (no homo, not that there's anything wrong with that)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Shawn's 2010, Kane's 2001, Benoit's 2004 and Punk's 2011.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Then we'd have to call him Mr. Man-tits.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I miss the hanging Raw is War. Reminds me of when I was young and free...full of hopes and dreams.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ways you can tell wrestling is fake: This match will magically end in less than 14 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Porn-Peddling Jef VinsonJanuary 26, 2014 at 5:47 PM

I hope DBry shows up in a lucha outfit with his beard sticking out from under his mask and becomes a surprise contestant.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I was hoping Hogan could talk to Orton on the side about how to beat Warrior and we get the return of Horace!

    ReplyDelete
  88. 15 minute time limit?

    ReplyDelete
  89. MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! Your 2014 BoD Rumble winner has arrived. I will be accepting congratulatory posts below. To quote a fellow Rumble winner, YOU ALL PAY HOMAGE TO THE MAN!

    ReplyDelete
  90. WRESTLINGS NOT FAKEEEEEEEEEEE!

    /Arquette in Ready To Rumble

    ReplyDelete
  91. Commercials?!

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yeah, pisses me off.

    ReplyDelete
  93. If Flair was the protagonist,Heenan and Moonson were the supporting actors.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and Goldust were all on the Rumble 99 card. Cody Rhodes was 13 at the time.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I gotta admit this Cody/Goldust mash-up theme is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Flair 92, no question. And I completely agree with you, he managed to be both a coward and asskicker at the same time. Him going at Barbarian with punches and chops, you had to respect that.

    ReplyDelete
  97. If they replaced Cody with Val Venus, this would be a perfect Heat main event from 1999.

    ReplyDelete
  98. What ever happened to Ric Flair Mortgages or whatever the hell it was?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Well, my specific TV isn't showing the pre show that you guys are all watching, but this pro bowl is quite something.

    ReplyDelete
  100. And we get a commerical in a PPV pre show on youtube in the middle of a match

    ReplyDelete
  101. A commercial break...ON THE PRE-SHOW?!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Kane 2001, Shawn 2007, Punk 2010-2011

    ReplyDelete
  103. They're telegraphing Batista's presence way too much. Either they're fucking retarded, or they're going to pull a fast one and have someone else win.

    ReplyDelete
  104. GO TEAM RICE!

(All 5 Saints are on his team. And I despise Deion.)

    ReplyDelete
  105. I know, I'm having to watch on my phone while also checking here.

    ReplyDelete
  106. That reminds us to buy a pay-per-view that happens in less than 10 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Porn-Peddling Jef VinsonJanuary 26, 2014 at 5:49 PM

Yeah. Like I'd REALLY take financial advice from Flair.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Guys, we do this every PPV.

They have commercials on the pre-show. It's not that weird.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Either way only Batista or Bryan have a shot at winning.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Can't it be all of the above?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Porn-Peddling Jef VinsonJanuary 26, 2014 at 5:49 PM

    Boo.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Did cole just say "a cook out at 2"?

    ReplyDelete
  113. I don't watch the pre-shows......

    ReplyDelete
  114. Take your fancy logic somewhere else, Cabs

    ReplyDelete
  115. We may see Val this year!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Doesn't make it any less silly.

    ReplyDelete
  117. WWE ...NOW, FOREVER....FORGET ABOUT THEN....

    ReplyDelete
  118. I miss Moonson and Heenan.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Would people be upset if Punk somehow won the rumble?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Damn, Goldust is fucking tearing it up out there for a throwaway pre show match.

    ReplyDelete
  121. If Renee is there then I'm there!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Doesnt mean I have to like it....

    ReplyDelete
  123. Why are there no more time limit draws?? Good way to keep two guys looking strong and a good way to set up another match down the line..

    ReplyDelete
  124. Plus Deion's team are playing in grey & neon yellow.

    ReplyDelete
  125. ERICK ROWAN IS GOING TO MAIN EVENT WRESTLEMANIA!

    (BeardMoney gets a chubby)

    ReplyDelete
  126. No. He deserves the win more than Batista, at least.

    ReplyDelete
  127. And if you're not down with man-tits..

    ReplyDelete
  128. If he dumped Bryan to win it, he could probably be biggest heel in the company again...

    ReplyDelete
  129. Zanatude should have taken final 4 bets also.

    Reigns, Punk, Batista, Sheamus

    ReplyDelete
  130. Between Rumble 92 and Wrestlemania 8, Heenan and Monsoon hit some ridiculous heights as straight man/comic guy. I think someone said you could just listen to the audio track of their commentary and still see everything in your mind.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Bryan, Punk, Batista, Sheamus

    ReplyDelete
  132. Batista and The Shield

    ReplyDelete
  133. This is the first ppv I've watched on tv with other people in over a decade. My friend and his "mark" brother are here.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Cody is pretty good also. Footnote.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I'm expecting Bryan to dump Hogan, Warrior, all members of DX, Punk, Sting and Undertaker tonight as Triple H's plan to make Bryan not over anymore goes into effect.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Guess there's a few cheap fucks still undecided and need NAO/Rhodes to help em decide...

    ReplyDelete
  137. Bryan and all three Wyatts

    ReplyDelete
  138. I'm sorry. What year is this again?

    ReplyDelete
  139. ... and NEW Tag Team Champions of the Wooooooooooooooooooorld!

    ReplyDelete
  140. It's good to be in the club. The Friends of Hunter club, that is.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Wow, we're off to a great start tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  142. I like the Outlaws but that is kinda stupid. Unless they are just jobbing them back tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Now if TNA did this, the IWC would be SHITTING on them

    ReplyDelete
  144. 3/4 of these guys were big parts of the show in 1998

    ReplyDelete
  145. the IWC will shit over this too.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Great, more politics...

    ReplyDelete
  147. Let the dissension begin.....

    ReplyDelete
  148. The tag division has never been better, yet somehow somebody decided that the best option for the tag titles was a team that peaked 15 years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  149. It's a catastrophe, a calamity, a goddamned nuclear apocalypse. It's the end of the world as we know it.

    ReplyDelete
  150. C'mon, the IWC is currently shitting all over this.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Why, it's 1999, sir. Yeah, I don't get why an Acolyte is doing announcing either

    ReplyDelete
  152. Nepotism at its finest (worst)

    ReplyDelete
  153. It is gonna be weird seeing Goldust enter the rumble as something other than nostalgia spot.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Thank you to all those hot young teams busting their asses, just so some retired pals of HHH can come in and win the belts.. I have a bad feeling about this night...

    ReplyDelete
  155. Well, didn't see that one coming

    ReplyDelete
  156. Fameasser: Two-count for Dolph
Fameasser: Three-count for someone significantly older

    ReplyDelete
  157. No way they hold those longer then 2 weeks

    ReplyDelete
  158. I'm guessing Gunn and Dogg won the titles?

    ReplyDelete
  159. Just do the opposite and I predict lots of success....

    ReplyDelete
  160. Cody's awesome. His run with the mask in 2011 is one of my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  161. It's clear they are doing this to get the Usos over at WM.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Hacksaw with a suit seems wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Dean Ambrose to job the IC title to a Bronco Buster and X-Factor soon?

    ReplyDelete
  164. That's because Dolph does a Rocker Dropper. I keed.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Well, it IS named after him. I think he knows how to execute it better.

    ReplyDelete
  166. It's a dumb move, regardless of who's doing it.

    ReplyDelete
  167. That is getting the job done....

    ReplyDelete
  168. I'm fine with that, nice to be given a reason to watch future preshows.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I've got Punk as my representative. #1 baby!

    ReplyDelete
  170. whoops. shows how much attention I'm paying.

    ReplyDelete
  171. In 2014, Billy Gunn has a WWE title.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Meh, they wont hold it long and that was a pretty decent match all things considered.

    ReplyDelete
  173. OK so if you show up to a royal rumble party with a Phil's BBQ party platter and a 30 pack of pbr you are a class act. I apparently choose my friends wisely

    ReplyDelete
  174. I'm not watching - did he at least cut off the sleeves?

    ReplyDelete
  175. He should have wore a wood grain tie.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Reddit leaker called tag change. This is going to be a long night.

    ReplyDelete
  177. "To everyone at home I have to say I can't be objective in this match"

"When did you ever been objective"

"This isn't fair to Flair, this isn't fair to Flair"

"I never thought I would say this but thank you Roddy, that's a Kilt not a skirt."

    ReplyDelete
  178. Ric is just still pissed that The Giant beat him for the World title in 1996.

    ReplyDelete
  179. It's cool. I mean Ambrose has the U.S. title, but hasn't defended it since the Stone Age.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Ric Flair wrestled Brock Lesnar? When the Hell did that happen?

    ReplyDelete
