  1. Hello Blog of doomers, have a nice evening.

    ReplyDelete
  2. This is the longest recap ever!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Nice opening package, although I'm kind of getting tired of these overblown videos in general...the music and overly dramatic production is starting to get annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Brush your hair right Ambrose.

    ReplyDelete
  5. And the dissolution of the Shield begins.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Seth dropped the B word in regards to the US title!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Triple powerbomb vickie!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Here comes HHH to suck the energy of the promo.

    ReplyDelete
  9. He's going bald, and trying to keep it wet so the combover doesn't look so obvious.

I tried that before...after a while I gave into the inevitable...

    ReplyDelete
  10. I think he was to add a psycho look but to me it looks stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Did Rollins mention that its THEIR yard?

*Cue one of the Bikertaker themes*

    ReplyDelete
  12. Is he the Groundskeeper of the Shield?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Roman Reigns is the shit.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Is that a 'prove it' or 'bullshit' chant?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hey guys,I'm having this thing with Disqus, everytime a post something some words disappear and I have to edit again.

    ReplyDelete
  16. COOHHH is face tonight, I see. If he was an animal, I guess he'd be a BiPolar Bear...

    ReplyDelete
  17. He definitely improved and is showing skill on the mic,I take it back my early criticism with him.

    ReplyDelete
  18. They really are.

    ReplyDelete
  19. They all have a chance to be Main eventers.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well, Groundskeeper Willie's a ginger like Calaway was, so..

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dolph vs Cesaro & Christian vs Swagger with the last 2 Elimination Chamber spots on the line?

    That's a pleasant surprise.

    ReplyDelete
  22. It's Cesaro Time.

    ReplyDelete
  23. But is it scheduled for one fall?! Come on, Lillian! DO YOUR JOB!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I predict Christian for "Guy who gets fucked up by Brock and has his spot taken."

    ReplyDelete
  25. Stranger in the AlpsJanuary 31, 2014 at 6:19 PM

*sigh* If this was the Attitude Era, Zeb's signs would be much more awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm really not all that certain they would be.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This opening series of moves is pretty damn ace

    ReplyDelete
  28. With how he whips his head around, it's any wonder how Ziggler hasn't been concussed far more often than he has been.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Stranger in the AlpsJanuary 31, 2014 at 6:21 PM

    I just miss political incorrectness.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ahhhh. Zeb's sign. Always a bright spot in the dark world that is WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think Brock comes out at the end and the match goes no-contest.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Brock...on Smackdown?!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Alright, JBL. The John Anderson joke was clever once. Time to find a new bag.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The impact of Zigg's bumps is insane! Oh and giant swing! But the crowd boos cause it was short!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Genuine push for Antonio Cesaro or is this a Tyson Kidd go in there and make the stars look good kind of deal?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I swear, Summer Rae just has less fabric on every time I see her. By WM, she'll be wearing mint floss.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Torrie Wilson style! Oh wait this is the PG era.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just be glad it's not the 'G' era.

'Oh my goodness, Summer Rae is showing off her bare ankles!'

    ReplyDelete
  39. Somewhere in between, most likely.

The idea, though, of a title match with Bryan defending against Cesaro fills me with warm tingly feelings.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Fantasy booking Mode on

Here's a crappy idea a had for the finish at EC,Only Cena and Bryan are left at the chamber then,LIGHTS OUT Brock appears and destroys both and the match is ruled a No contest.Moving foward to Raw,Brock wants a match for the tittle,Hollywood Batista comes out saying they should give the title to him since he's the best and won the RR.With all the shenanigans at Wrestlemania The authority decides to to do a mini-tournament With Batista,Brock,Bryan and Cena

    At wrestlemania

match 1:Bryan vs Batista,Bryan wins via tapout
match 2:Cena vs Brock,Lesnar pins Cena and wins the rematch

Main event:Bryan vs Brock,Bryan wins by pinfall after a 30 minute match

Remember this a fantasy booking,I'm not being objective(like heenan in the rumble of 92),the goal is to Bryan have a Huge Mania moment.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don't know how this countdown show is going to get a half-hour out of counting down entrances and catchphrases.

    ReplyDelete
  42. No Contest in a PPV main event...again!

    NO BUYS!

    ReplyDelete
  43. That giant swing probably brought back memories of last summer

    ReplyDelete
  44. I said it was a bad idea,but a had to share.

    ReplyDelete
  45. So apparently R-Truth and Xavier Woods' gimmick is that one of them wrestles, and the other does commentary?

    ReplyDelete
  46. All depends on the talking heads. Some eps will be good, other's not depending on who's doing the talking that week.

Plus they have to be a lil objective, if it's WWE approved whitewashing BS it'll flop.

    ReplyDelete
  47. BOD what the fuck is up tonight

    ReplyDelete
  48. Emma is adorable and I want one.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'd like to reiterate my desire to have sex with Emma

    ReplyDelete
  50. I've posted below a crappy fantasy booking idea for EC.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So is this Summer/Emma thing a PG version of Trish/Mickie or what?

    ReplyDelete
  52. I fully expect every episode to have The Miz. I'm not even kidding. That's the only function he actually seems to fulfill these days. Providing robotic talking head soundbites.

    ReplyDelete
  53. http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/395/200/ba4.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm not watching, but that sounds terrible. Trish/Mickie was that weird angle that really should have been a total steaming disaster but somehow turned out awesome thanks to the talent of the two women involved.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Woods looked pretty good, aside from the ridiculous attempts at showing excitement (he looked rather bushleague), but right now he's the jobbiest of jobbers.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I don't think Emma is being written as having a crush. She just wants to be popular. The feud stems from the fact that she keeps appearing during Fandango segments, which essentially means she's hogging the spotlight from Summer Rae.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I've seen jobbier.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Anyone else think the Lego Movie actually looks tight as shit?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Wonder Woman's big screen debut is as a lego figure! Meanwhile Marvel's like hey here's a Raccoon with a machine gun, deal with it!

    ReplyDelete
  60. If you shits are tight, you need more fiber.

    ReplyDelete
  61. And Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Jobber team 1 vs Jobber team 2.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Or share a cellblock with Justin Bieber and Deebo

    ReplyDelete
  64. The Armstrongs vs. High Voltage

    ReplyDelete
  65. Still think Ryback has potential as an upper mid-card guy. He has natural heel charisma. Curtis Axel though...total waste of time, he's more solid in the ring than Ryback but he just doesn't have "IT".

    ReplyDelete
  66. After he lost to Punk at HIAC they should had gave him the IC and destroy the midcard to keep his status.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Ugh, this turn. We REALLY don't have enough decent midcard babyfaces to support this sudden influx of midcard heels. And turning him now in the middle of WM season pretty much leaves him destined to become Shad Gaspard 2.0.

On the plus side, if Darren Young becomes JTG 2.0 as a result, he can look forward to ten more years of gainful employment.

    ReplyDelete
  68. THE PRIMETIME PLAYERS EXPLODE!!!!

This has shades of breaking up the New Hart Foundation and Cryme Tyme for no reason. A year from now, Darren Young will be cut and Titus will be jobbing on Superstars once a month.

    ReplyDelete
  69. So the overish Titus turns on the not very over Darren Young. Uh...

    ReplyDelete
  70. SWEET Spongebob & Patrick sign in the background.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Ryback has decent heel charisma, but he's more or less unsalvageable at an upper midcard/main event level. It's not his fault, but this Goldberg stuff is clearly never going to go away. Unless they throw a bunch of money at Goldberg to come in and squash him and put the comparisons to bed. But Ryback isn't really worth the expense.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Let's get those two to beef up the tag division. We've lost the PTP, Real Americans are rumored to be breaking up, and The SHIELD is clearly headed for a split.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Surprised there wasn't a Spongebob gimmick in Chikara.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Seriously, one of my favorite procrastination tactics is just watching Jake promos on YouTube. I could literally watch classic Jake promos all fucking day. He's the rare promo you just want to luxuriate with.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Vince and co are so ahead of the game....

    ReplyDelete
  76. You are a sick man Jake Roberts!
    Thank you very much!

    You can't script that shit!

    ReplyDelete
  77. HHH mode on

C'mon, guys We have the New age outlaws as tag champions, what more do you want?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Shit, if Cole hadn't reminded me that Swagger was last year's Chamber winner, I never would have remembered.

Hope the spliff was worth it, Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Having the NAO as champs actually advances the HHH/Authority storyline, so its not really an awful move....

    ...aw hell, its terrible...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Abandon all hope,Hunter is now the king.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Does someone here played Max Payne 2,I gotted for my Ps2,pretty good game.

    ReplyDelete
  82. So over/under on how many months until Rusev is a lovable, dancing goof?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Who's this blonde chick?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Lana

She's also someone who can get it.

    ReplyDelete
  85. The least ready NXT guy of course gets the promotion.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Christian got a nice pop, always enjoyed his work...

    ReplyDelete
  87. Id like to see them bring back Kozlov and make em a tag team...

    ReplyDelete
  88. How about we just replace Lawler with Dutch?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Ryback would probably wind up injuring Goldberg, which would be pretty ironic...

    ReplyDelete
  90. Just googled her, very nice and she's an actress too. I shudder to think how bad she's in the ring though.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Id be fine with Road Dogg and Dutch being the new announce team....

    ReplyDelete
  92. Lawler's got a job for LIFE!

    ReplyDelete
  93. So he could be gone at any time...

    ReplyDelete
  94. He was the King yesterday and he will be the King tomorrow....

    ReplyDelete
  95. #ChristiansBack is the official hashtag, yet I wonder if anyone is just going to assume that some boil on Christian's back is the reason for the trend?

    ReplyDelete
  96. He is above all logic.

    ReplyDelete
  97. The crowd sweetening is really obnoxious here.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Im guessing Swagger is headed for a face turn and Christian is headed for an injury angle to get him out of the EC....

    ReplyDelete
  99. Randy Orton,Daniel Bryan,John Cena,Sheamus,Antonio Cesaro & Christian.

    That's one hell of a line-up.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Yeah, there's no way Christian is keeping his spot.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I was wondering why I was hearing Hogan chants, just realized they used the crowd track from WM 18....

    ReplyDelete
  102. HMM Wrong guy,Cesaro should have the face

    ReplyDelete
  103. Neither is a face; I just don't get the split.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I honestly think they've changed course on the Brock Lesnar angle. How the Undertaker comes into play is still a mystery to me though.

    ReplyDelete
  105. This. Swagger has no hope as a babyface unless he plays the 'MERICA card.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I agree, maybe they see Swagger as the next Angle....

...No, not Kurt, Im thinking Eric Angle....

    ReplyDelete
  107. I wish Taker would sit this year out or feed him Sheamus...

...I dont know anybody besides Vince that wants to see Taker/Brock again....

    ReplyDelete
  108. His ECW were pretty good.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Nah, he had value before but they killed him dead....

    ReplyDelete
  110. God, these Old Spice commercials are annoying

    ReplyDelete
  111. Cesaro had the perfect face moveset, has the look and is better talking than Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Christian is probably the best worker in that lineup outside of Bryan, but Im thinking he wont stay in there...

    ReplyDelete
  113. I was just thinking the exact same thing. Except creepy instead of annoying.

Just something about these mothers wanting their grown sons to be rejected by women so they can remain their little boys. So weird.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I wouldn't say that. But he has been hurt by how marginalized he's become.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oh I agree, the folks want to cheer Cesaro...

...once again, Vince has the pulse on what the fans want....

    ReplyDelete
  116. There's a wrestling gimmick waiting to happen

    ReplyDelete
  117. Im convinced Kid Rock would have no career anymore if not for WWE....

    ReplyDelete
  118. I love how the first four or five panels of this WM montage had absolutely nothing to do with wrestling.

    -Shot of Ali
    -Shot of Aretha
    -Shot of Liberace
-Shot of Mr. T walking to the ring

And THEN Hogan bodyslamming the 91,000 lb. Andre.

    ReplyDelete
  119. OMG STOP TRYING TO MAKE KID ROCK A THING.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Christian, I love ya bud, but I have as good a chance at Main Eventing Mania....

    ReplyDelete
  121. Bring the UFO as his finisher and the Ricola Bomb

    ReplyDelete
  122. HHH is the General Zod of Sportz Entertainment....

    ReplyDelete
  123. 13 whole minutes in the Rumble! Wow Kofi what an accomplishment!

    ReplyDelete
  124. 13 more minutes than Bryan :(

    ReplyDelete
  125. Speaking of folks being misused....

...Sandow belongs in the main event scene but lets keep pushing Orton and Big Show in top spots...

    ReplyDelete
  126. Nah, dude's a tank. He just needs to be booked as who he is: a big, strong, mean bastard. That easy.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Ah, the losing streak gimmick! Always a proven money draw! ;_;

    ReplyDelete
  128. I heard CM Punk dumping AJ to take time off AND Titus turning on Darren Young are related.. apparently Punk wants to spend more 'personal' time with his NXT rookie

    ReplyDelete
  129. I wonder if he didnt get arrested if things wouldve went differently for him...

    ReplyDelete
  130. If it was in the 80's he would be a perfect candidate for the Varsity club.

    ReplyDelete
  131. What the hell he did to earn his fame, his music sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  132. The ratings for Smackdown are gonna be horrible.... no Batista=low ratings

    ReplyDelete
  133. Heh. "Earn" and "fame". You're a riot.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Forget Sandow we got Sheamus

    ReplyDelete
  135. Losing streak time for Sandow.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I didnt mind that Lonely Road of Faith thing but his time has passed...

    ReplyDelete
  137. My English is not perfect sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  138. This Helix show on Sci-Fi is what? Thing - The TV Show?

    ReplyDelete
  139. Okay, yeah. When that was paired with that "Desire" video, that was fucking tremendous.

    ReplyDelete
  140. It'll have to be realistic. Bring back Lisa Marie and her 'son', who still suckles at her teat.

    [researches wrestling schools]

    ReplyDelete
  141. Varsity Club would be great nowadays, they would never do it though....

    ReplyDelete
  142. I don't even beat mini-Cabs that often.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Sheamus, Cena, and Orton are all better workers than Christian and Bryan..... Batista and Big Show are better 2

    ReplyDelete
  144. WWE video guys make almost every tune better with their work...

    ReplyDelete
  145. Batista should get the nick name 'Best in the World!'

    ReplyDelete
  146. It's actually not bad...for a SyFy show.

    ReplyDelete
  147. The Outlaws have no fucking clue if they're heels or not.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Middle Age Outlaws vs The Rhodes Bros in a Steel Cage? Wasn't expecting that, DX 2K14 reunion?

    ReplyDelete
  149. I thought the edict was that there were no heels or faces....

    ReplyDelete
  150. They do, but this schtick is all they have! Take it away and they're nothing!

    ReplyDelete
  151. SyFy's greatest achievement was Sharknado.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Maybe they will do a curtain call after the match leading to HHH getting punished again.....

    ReplyDelete
  153. Oh, no, your English is fine. I just find the expectation that celebrities "earn" their fame hilarious in a world with Kim Kardashian and the Miz.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Crowd looks dead as Mae Young....

    ReplyDelete
  155. The most overhyped "punishment" of all time. Sure he got the KOTR taken away but by the fall he was IC champ (Back when that still meant something) and was working a good program with Marc Mero all the while heading to a probable Mania program against Mr.Perfect before Curt was lured down south.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Its that I don't get some expressions in English.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Kim earned her fame the same way most stars do, only we got to see the audition...

    ReplyDelete
  158. Not going to argue with that. Return Of The Living Dead 4 : Rave To The Grave is their sleeper hit.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Sorry but that fits the "overcoming the odds to become the legend he is today" narrative....

    ReplyDelete
  160. 8/10 for the joke.

    ReplyDelete
  161. So that means the MIz… *shudder*

    ReplyDelete
  162. Yeah, thank god we missed his "training" sessions with Pat Patterson....

    ReplyDelete
  163. But he was Justin Hawk Bradshaw, Cole...'John Hawk' was his indie name

    ReplyDelete
  164. I'd love to see actual fake war propaganda made for the Monday Night War.

"Fight the good fight! Buy Raw Is War Bonds!"

    ReplyDelete
  165. As much as he was over the top, Id take Schiavone over Cole any day of the week...

    ReplyDelete
  166. "You fool! History has no place in the product! Now, enjoy this commercial for the WWE Network..."

    ReplyDelete
  167. CM Punk - Should i take my ball and go home?
    Good idea?
    Not a good idea!

    ReplyDelete
  168. Welcome to HHH Saves the WWE, A Revisionist-Ass History Production

    ReplyDelete
  169. Bray is reaching Jake territory in terms of hypnotically rewatchable promos.

    ReplyDelete
  170. I really wish Bischoff had just called their bluff and let DX in the building.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I was thinking the same thing....

    ReplyDelete
  172. I've said it before but just send Scott Norton and Meng out to meet them! Eric says don't worry about any criminal charges we'll take care of you and voila, angle squashed!

    ReplyDelete
  173. Dreamcast Update:

It came in earlier today, and I'm having a BLAST! with it now. Nothing like reliving the days of the Billy Joe Saga in New Orleans. Oh, and playing other games.

I do have WWF Royal Rumble coming in, but I'm NOT touching WWF Attitude, or the ECW knockoffs, with a 100 foot pole.

    ReplyDelete
  174. That wouldve actually been a smart move as WWF couldnt air them in the building, so folks wouldve all tuned in to Nitro...

    ReplyDelete
  175. My God, those Acclaim ECW games were unplayable.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Ive still got my Dreamcast, underrated system....

    ReplyDelete
  177. Have they even mentioned who won the Royal Rumble tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  178. I've seen collectible diecast figurines with better mobility than Rey.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Batista returning and winning the Royal Rumble to cement his spot in the main event at WrestleMania 30 was trully unforgettable!

    ReplyDelete
  180. They are mentioning Rumble stuff now...

    ReplyDelete
  181. I dont even think the Jeep would survive those two....

    ReplyDelete
  182. Batista returning and winning the Royal Rumble to cement his spot in the main event at WrestleMania 30 was trully forgettable!

    FIFY.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Sheamus' s return is overshadowing Bryan because Sheamus is a real SuperStar

    ReplyDelete
  184. They've mentioned it plenty of times tonight in terms of other peoples performances but no mention of Batista winning it as far as i can remember.

    ReplyDelete
  185. To be fair, they couldve misremembered who won...

    ReplyDelete
  186. Epic Ron Simmons promo from ECW:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q_loRhqrU4

    ReplyDelete
  187. Scott Norton and Wrath both should've been world champions........ Bryan Adams (Crush) also should've gotten a shot at becoming at least intercontinental champ in WWF and U.S. champ in WCW

    ReplyDelete
  188. Farooq should've been WWF champion... he should've won the 98 rumble and defeated HBK with Tyson in his corner. FAROOQ 3:16
