WWE Network Thread

I figured that maybe this could be a daily thing where you share your thoughts on whatever is happening on the live stream, or maybe you've discovered an old PPV or show that you want to discuss, you could do it right here. My own experience thus far? Too much work, not enough play. Although I caught the "Coolest Catchphrases" Countdown, and the NXT intro special. Everything is running fine, and no problems as of last night.

Comments

  1. I signed up for it but have barely had time to watch anything on it yet... BECAUSE OF YOU!

    ReplyDelete
  2. Signed up this morning and watched This is NXT, some of Survivor Series '92, and some of the 1993 episode of RAW they aired. I'm really impressed so far.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Fall Brawl 2000 opening promo.
    Great product synergy.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Watched GAB 89 - it lives up to the hype. What an amazing show!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Well, the good news is that the PPV archives are working on WWE.com - on my office computer. We'll see tonight if it's working on my home computer.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Just watched the first ever Raw...it streamed 100% without problems, even when I forwarded a little bit. Found it interesting Luger was originally coming in with the name Narcissus as opposed to the Narcissist, and also Heenan recycled his "ice cream/horse manure" bit in a promo that he'd originally used to plug the debut of Flair.

  7. Honest question to any tech savvy bloggers. How long should it take to fix the Network problems with the Xbox 360 (whichever side is to blame, WWE or Microsoft)? It seems like its a simple Log In problem that can be easily resolved.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The PS3 problem Monday-Tuesday was the O and the X button were reversed so people just clicked the other button to enter.

I'd guess with the 360 that they'll have it fixed by tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Watching Royal Rumble 1993 - the Raws they showed yesterday built to it and I thought I would finish it off. Just finished the opener - Steiners vs. Beverlys. How did Scotty not break someone's neck with the Frankensteiner? Amazing.

Also, I was going to suggest that we have one of these threads daily, instead of putting comments in random threads.

Holy shit - the video package for Michaels-Jannetty featured a shot of the video wall showing the video, watching the audience watch the video! It's not a new phenomenon!

  10. Live stream is working perfectly! I caught the Catchphrases Countdown and it worked seamlessly on the PS3. However, PPVs are not working at all for me. Tried to watch Fully Loaded 2000 and it ran for about 30 seconds, froze and the application crashed. The website is distinctively having the most issues, with constant buffering issues. Hope they can find a fix as quick as possible, specifically for the PPVs.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I assumed it would be a fast fix and be fixed by Monday after RAW or Tuesday morning at the latest. The latest rumors I've been hearing are it'll be fixed by the weekend. I'm not super upset, it just seems wierd for it to take this long to fix a log in problem. Also, the problem is on Microsofts end and they aren't known for fixing problems at a speedy pace.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeah, haven't seen you around much. Although I was reading a thread/topic on Reddit where the question was "Have you ever walked in on your SO cheating on you" and I wondered how many of the stories on there you were on the other end of.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Clearly I am everyone in that thread as I have fucked every married woman ever (or so my legend goes). The real story is that between the new girlfriend, work, and other stuff I haven't had much BoD time lately... though I try to drop in whenever the schedule allows... what have you been up to?

    ReplyDelete
  14. On a different topic, I just watched the movie "Your Highness", wow that was bad. I'm surprised as I'm a fan of both Franco and McBride.

    ReplyDelete
  15. he's back! GO GO GO to daily update thread.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Natalie Portman looked great though but yeah it's clear just like Land Of The Lost that Danny McBride only did it for the paycheck.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I know it's been blown out of proportion and has become a running joke but if you don't mind me asking (and I really hope I don't offend you by asking this). How many married women is it? What's the actual number? I'll tell you now, if it's less than 5 I'm going to be dissapointed in how it's been talked up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have not had the opportunity to try since yesterday morning, has anyone had X-box 360 log in success?

I've watched WWF Wrestling Classic (hey it was the first), the first RAW (rob bartlett...so..so bad.) and a couple Legends. The Outlaws Legends ep was fun, Giants should have been a half hour, they kind of ran out of things to say.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Be sure to check out Bobby Heenan's audition for Brokeback Mountain 2 during Luger's debut (NARCISSIUS!).

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dude, even watching that as a naive 13-year old 21 years ago, I was still a little uncomfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I loved it, and I'm not a fan of those types of movies. Portman was insanely hot in it, as was Zoey. Pretty funny as well.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Tried catching it, I'm glad they kept the original opening intro music intact as it was replaced by cheesy Muzak on the Classics On Demand version.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Had they done that for the whole PPV the viral video exposure would have been HUGE!...and in some cases the work rate would have gone up.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Smart money is on 3.5. There was that one time he doesn't really like to talk about.

    ReplyDelete
  25. That was one of the ugliest Frankensteiners ever, although most of 'em either were of the "oh shit he nearly killed him" or "do the Frankensteiner, other guy takes a safe bump half a second later" variety by that point.

The Wrestlemania 9 match is a classic example of the latter if you haven't seen it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Watched the first two Raws as well, and will be watching RR93 tonight.

That was my biggest issue with WWE 24/7. They'd have to TV but not the PPVs. This way, obviously, is much better.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Watched that this morning and the quality was great. Even paused it for 10 minutes and picked it up no problem.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I vaguely remember the WM9 one. I'll be rewatching it again soon, though. Looking forward to getting through ALL the WrestleManias before 30 hits.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ah yes, with Damian Lewis right before Homeland came out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Your Highness, an unofficial sequel to Year One.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Did you want to reach through the screen and strangle Bartlett too?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like to blame Microsoft.

People don't give them enough shit. Odds are you have to pay for Xbox Live just to USE the WWE Network.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Just watched the third episode of Raw with Flair vs Perfect. I love Heenan at some point in the episode asking McMahon where did you find this guy (meaning Bartlett), Heenan hilarious as usual.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Still nowhere near as obnoxious as WCW plugging The Way Of The Gun on Nitro to such a ridiculous extent that they even had posters for the movie covering up the guardrails (or as WCW always called them, safety rails. I guess "guard" was another of Standards And Practices' illogical banned words). Surprise, surprise, the movie still bombed.
If Artisan had picked RAW instead of Nitro on the other hand...

    ReplyDelete
  35. My money would be on five exactly, a little less than half the women he's slept with and Jesus Christ why am I pondering about Parallaxs sex life? I need help.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Last night my Roku was absolutely not working for the archives, though the live stream was working fine. Not only were streams not working, but ppvs were missing (such as GAB 1989). Since everything seems cool on my laptop right now, I'm hoping all will be well tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The answer is yes, I've just hooked up my 360 to the internet for the first time and am surprised with how money hungry Microsoft is.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sounds like things are a little better today..

    ReplyDelete
  39. It is Microsofts fault apparently. And yeah, they don't get enough shit, that's true. The Live isn't an issue with me as I already have Live for the next eight months.

    ReplyDelete
  40. McMahon's response was fantastic also. He was surprisingly amusing during Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Year One is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not out of line at all... that said... I can't break kayfabe and start the BoD attitude era.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hey it is a very interesting subject... I don't blame you one bit.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I know it was brought up in the Saturday Night Thread that we could all watch a PPV or show at the same time on the network and comment on that, to make it interesting. Basically, a live thread for an older show. The idea of voitng on a show was discussed and if you guys want to suggest some shows, let me know and I will start a poll.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It's $5 a month. And at least my 360 works, something I can't say about any of the Sony products I've owned over the years.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Doesn't have WWE Network.
    /sits in corner and pouts

    ReplyDelete
  47. I knew there was a reason I broke off my engagement...

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thread jack number 2(sorry): True Detective has to be the best show on TV right now. It's just so good and I'm racking my brain trying to figure out the case. The acting, writing and directing is all superb (that tracking shot, holy shit that was good). If Matt doesn't get an Emmy it'll be a huge injustice. The only bad thing is having to say goodbye to these characters forever in two episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Doesn't have WWE Network, glad to not be apart of the angry masses.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm more saddened about having to say goodbye to the prime T&A that show has. Woody Harrelson is a lucky man.

    ReplyDelete
  51. We can still talk about other stuff, right?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Surprisingly it was. Usually he had a quick Stop if Mr. Heenan but he actually went along with it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. You can hook it up to download game updates and shit for free, playing online or using any apps (Netflix, WWE Network, YouTube, etc...) requires a Gold account.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Nope, I tried a couple of hours ago and still no success on the log in. The problem is with Microsoft. Last I heard it'll be fixed by the weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think I'm going to try to download Virgil today.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That's funny, I have a Sony Blu-Ray player (had it since 2011) and a Sony DVD Recorder (had it since 2008) and both have worked wonderfully without any issues. You must have gotten one of those one in a million defective versions.

I had that issue with my first smartphone purchase in 2011 (Evo 3D) where it would just power itself off at random and after a week, the charger wouldn't even work. Got it replaced with a new one and have had no major issues with it since.

    ReplyDelete
  57. You just made me laugh for like a minute.

    ReplyDelete
  58. See republicans say that it is homosexuals that are ruining the institution of marriage when really it's this guy. :: Points to himself ::

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't the network too.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Think of the children!

    ReplyDelete
  61. No way dude... thinking about children would be creepy as fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  62. But if someone doesn't have the network?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I really have no issue with the latter. I'm ok with convenience wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Then you are shunned and ostracized.... on a wrestling blog.

    ReplyDelete
  65. That's bullshit in so many ways. You shouldn't have to pay to play unless it's an MMO.

    ReplyDelete
  66. No, not like that at all. Think of the kids that could be traumatized if you break kayfabe. It's not like the movie industry broke kayfabe with behind the scenes specials or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  67. IIndeed, although a lot of those go past convenience to "breaking the laws of physics". The Headshrinker one is hilarious because it's a BLATANT delayed reaction on Samu's part. And Samu was used to working with him!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Blacklisted!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. EXACTLY! Once you let the genie out of the bottle you can't put it back in.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm definitely not one of the angry ones, and I have the network. It's been a bit frustrating these last couple days, but the good still outweighs the bad.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Streaming Capital Combat (RETURN OF ROBOCOP), and I'm shocked the poster art features the Road Warriors, who are on their way out and in a meaningless 6-man tag. WCW was never known for the best posters, but where's Flair, Luger, or, I dunno, Robocop, if you have his name in the actual title of the show?

    ReplyDelete
  72. So I'm watching Bash '89 and enjoying the hell out of it buuuut...they blurred a sign with WWF on it. Why present it as uncut and do lame shit like that? Sure it was dissing the WWF but come on.

    ReplyDelete
  73. You can come watch at my house as long as you bring your aunt with you...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Such a shame that was the last movie that Harold Ramis directed.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I will throw some out, Royal Rumble 1992, King of the Ring 1996, SummerSlam 1998, WrestleMania VII, Survivor Series 1989, The Great American Bash 1989, SuperBrawl I and WrestleWar 1992. Just suggestions

    ReplyDelete
  76. Uncensored '95, Great American Bash '99, and King of the Ring '97 to throw some fun ones in there.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Anyone else find it odd they kept repeatedly playing the Brodus Clay toy shoot while Brodus himself hasn't been on TV in two months?
An old behind the scenes toy commercial shoot is the only way he can get TV time anymore because it's not like they have 7 hours a week of programming that airs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to use him on, right?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Probably took him off TV to get the stink of that awful turn off him, and bring him back without the "isn't he the guy with the Somebody Call My Momma music" stigma. Still makes no sense to show the commercial over and over with him being so happy-go-lucky with kids and toys.

    ReplyDelete
  79. It still wasn't working on the xbox for me last night. Fuckers.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Careful Brazil, it's a trap!

    ReplyDelete
  81. My common sense is tingling!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Money in the bank 2011

    ReplyDelete
  83. KOTR 97 isn't bad enough to be fun. I'd add New Blood Rising to that just for everyone's heads to explode.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Not so much bad, but thrown together as all hell. Lots of changes to the card, on top of Faarooq main eventing, on top of a weak tournament.

    ReplyDelete
  85. He definitely should have changed that credit to "Alan Smithee" before he died.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I found it weirder when the kid asked for a hug.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I like the idea of a WrestleMania series this month leading up to the big show. We should chose the 5 best or so and do that for a while

    ReplyDelete
  88. Or if you want a Trainwreck,Any ppv of wcw in 2000.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Better then Miz, Brodus has more of a Disney park character feel to him when he dances around.

    ReplyDelete
  90. YouTube, here I come!

    ReplyDelete
  91. 17,20,23,24,26

    ReplyDelete
  92. Check souled out.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Yeah, that's one of the many reasons I've been happy that I got a PS3.

(Admittedly, I was one of the lucky ones who got the nigh-legendary 60GB system.)

    ReplyDelete
  94. It's a shame the earlier years aren't that known for their work rate.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Most likely it comes from the video release, and it was already blurred on that.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Had the PS3 since the 60GB one went on clearance...

... and wait, are you really trumpeting the 360's reliability? Didn't that thing have a failure rate of 5%?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Is that the one where Dean Malenko's last match with the company is blowing the stipulations in the opener?

    ReplyDelete
  98. If we're going for that, Cold Day in Hell is even better, since we'd get to ooh and aah at Vader trying to kill Ken Shamrock.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Still fun to watch. I could watch WM 3, 6, 7, 8, and 10 any day of the week, as well as 17, 19, 20 etc etc. from later years.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I forgot 19 and 22,21 could have been the a classic if the double main event was great.

    ReplyDelete
  101. God I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I just got home and put on an episode of Hardcore TV and it started fast and is running perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  102. If I can recommend an underrated show, Halloween Havoc 90, aka the one with an orange ring. WWE should do something like that just to mess with the look and atmosphere of a show to give it a special feeling and break with the visual monotony.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I couldn't even tell you the card to that one, other than Austin/Taker and Vader/Shamrock.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yes,and Benoit becomes World Champion.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Definitely tough to listen to. What annoys me the most is that he blatantly doesn't know anything about the "sport" and doesn't hide it. Calls wrestlers by the wrong name — "Dork" instead of "Doink" — and even asked who Flair was attacking when the was going after Perfect. Just brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yeah, WM7 is basically infinitely re-watchable: the fun of 80s wrestling but very little of the fluff of the earlier WMs, plus one all-time great match in Savage / Warrior.

    ReplyDelete
  107. But Money in the Bank and HBK/ Angle really delivered.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I think it should be a show that pre-dated this blog's existence. I'd vote Starrcade 97.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I would love it if they changed the look for certain shows. It just adds so much to it, even if it's a shitty show.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Of the 4 hour WM's from 1988-91, 7 is the only one with some awesome wrestling. I loved 6, but other than Hogan/Warrior, it's a weak show for workrate. 7 has the opener, the tag titles, career match, IC Title match, and even the WWF Title Match was good. Even more amazing: Bulldog/Warlord was surprisingly fun when wrestling laws and logic would've said otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Interesting note: In July 2009, my friends and I went to a small theater for a movie night and the theater only played two movies so we could choose either "Year One" or "I Love You, Beth Cooper". Out of the five of us, three of them chose "Year One", I and another friend chose "I Love You, Beth Cooper". I ended up really liking the Beth Cooper movie because the great Shawn Roberts and I'm a fan of his work for life thanks to "National Lampoon's Going The Distance" being such a hilarious film (he was also great in "A Little Bit Zombie") and they really hated "Year One" so that's my memory of the film.
Saw it a short time later on Starz and yeah, it was really awful.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Angle making HBK taping out was mark out moment. He's one of the three men that made Superman tap out.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Starrcade 97 is nice trainwreck

    ReplyDelete
  114. Hayden Pennettiere was sexy in that flick.

    ReplyDelete
  115. The last hurrah of the Midnight Express, practically working the entire tag match with Ricky Morton, and minimal effort from Tommy Rich. That's the one thing I will remember most of the show, other than the dumbass ending with Windham as Sting.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Won't be home from work for another couple hours or so. Does anyone know if XBox is still down? Don't want to waste my time trying to sign in again...

    ReplyDelete
  117. Don't forget 8 with Savage/Flair and Piper/Bret.

    ReplyDelete
  118. You mean the one that's still PS2 compatible?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Indeed. The film also had a great soundtrack, a lot of great dialogue, great character actors (Alan Ruck represent!) and a great director (Chris Columbus).
Year One had a great director too but everyone makes mistakes.

    ReplyDelete
  120. The legendary Red Ring Of DOOM!

    ReplyDelete
  121. That was less than 3-hours, but it's definitely a great WM until that WWF title match. The rest of the show from that point on can fall into a void.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Nope, it's Cena. WM23.

(I don't think Jericho ever tapped him; he won by TKO once, though)

    ReplyDelete
  123. It's a fine match as well. I'm also a big fan of the Steiners-Nasties match. It's also the first time I remember them using the ramp to the ring and the WCW letters on the stage which gave it a different feel. As far as I know it was the first time that setup had been used, though feel free to correct me if that's incorrect.

    ReplyDelete
  124. When was that? I kinda stopped watching WWE from summer 2007 through summer 2011.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I still have pretty vivid memories of that show. Rocky/Mankind, Ahmed running the gauntlet versus NOD.

    ReplyDelete
  126. When I said Superman,I'm refering to Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Things working any better today?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Cena is the superman,is joke we have on Brazil.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I know his character is supposed to be a total sleaze for screwing around on his wife, but I don't know how you turn those two down.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Well I'm sure the show will keep up with the high quality T&A in season 2. That second sex scene in the last episode was fucking hot by the way.

    ReplyDelete
  131. The show that needs faces to go over clean features all heels going over and a shitty finish that makes the face look like a big loser in the main event.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I tried it a few hours ago and still no go on the log in. The problem is on Microsofts end. They said it'll be fixed by the weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Not just PS2-compatible, but it has the PS2 hardware actually built into it (and a bunch of extraneous crap like multiple memory card slots / USB ports). So you get *perfect* PS2 emulation.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Sitting at work steaming about this thread. WHY WONT THE FUCKING NETWORK WORK FOR ME

last night I made it through Strongbow vs vachon and it died on my tablet... which by the way is the only thing it will "work" on. Obviously its over and I'll never be able to enjoy the network.

    ReplyDelete
  135. So far, it seems to be working a million times better

    ReplyDelete
  136. "What is WCW on a Sunday?"

    ReplyDelete
  137. Anyone who can watch the wwe network during the day, whether at home or from work, I envy

    ReplyDelete
  138. Have you tried it this afternoon? It sucked for me last night as well, but is running great right now

    ReplyDelete
  139. I have this sinking feeling that when the network hits Canada we'll get a completely bastardized version like it is with Netflix up here.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Worked great for me on Apple TV this morning. Streamed an old RAW and it worked perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  141. On another note, Bryan got spotted at the hotel after the SD tapings, so he had anyone who wanted autographs and photos line up.

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BhYC6x_IQAE1Fc_.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  142. I agree sadly, I hate cheating and cheaters but damn I would have had a hard time with that even if his wife is hot too. That first girl he cheated with, damn!

    ReplyDelete
  143. Upvoting your update, obviously, not the fact that it's still down. I did get to see The Shockmaster and Blow Away on my phone last night, so there's that.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I haven't. I'm still at work and didn't try this morning. Its working better? Okay cool because last night I had no luck. This makes me feel better.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Spring Stampede 99 is still my vote sir.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Great American Bash '90 was the first time they used it.
Halloween Havoc '90 was the third time they used it, there was also a Clash Of The Champions special in-between where they used the catwalk ramp and it looked like absolute shit because of the layout of the building.
Every other time they used it looked great though.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I'm 30 years old with internet access, so random tits on an HBO show doesn't really phase me anymore. But man, Episode 2 was the exception to that.

    ReplyDelete
  148. That opening match,It's saf how the cruiserweights were branded as leprosy in the WCW,just read Jericho's first book to see.

    ReplyDelete
  149. My vote goes towards any of the earlier WrestleMania's

    ReplyDelete
  150. That's the point I think, I've been saying that doing this with a terrible show each week would be a lot of fun. Like MST3K

    ReplyDelete
  151. I've been doing that at work for the last three days.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I stand corrected. Which Clash # was it, if you remember?

    ReplyDelete
  153. I was having issues with On Demand stuff all over the place yesterday, but today, no issues with Royal Rumble 1993.

    ReplyDelete
  154. 12... I think. That was the one with Sting and the phony Black Scorpion Main Event.

    ReplyDelete
  155. That's nothing new, Farva.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I think it was number 12, I could be wrong about that but I know for a fact that Sting wrestled The Black Scorpion on that show.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Ha. I've always been a Ferrari fan

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yeah, the first Rock / Mankind match definitely adds to the weirdness of that show (how the fuck do you not book ANY of the Harts on the PPV? Bret was hurt, but everyone else save Pillman was fine)

    ReplyDelete
  159. You are correct. I remember now. The ramp had to be attached to the corner of the ring. That's the show where Flair and Luger had their match for the US title and the entire layout of their usual match got reversed as a result. Fascinating match.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I imagine watching the Network at the hospital is probably a no-no...

    ReplyDelete
  161. Speaking of rewatching old PPV's: I'm sure Scott answered this once, but were the Lethal Lottery drawings gimmicked? I was watching Starrcade 90 or 91, and was curious.

  162. It's not the video release. That one was edited down to 2 hours (and it didn't blur the sign anyways). The Network airs the complete show. I've noticed a bunch of shows where some of the"WWF" references are still censored.
There are also a ton of WWF shows that are the Coliseum Video versions (the first 4 King of the Rings and SummerSlam 1995 and 1997 to name a few). Plus, One Night Only 1997 is the hacked up 2-hour home video release that removed Bret/Undertaker and 2 other matches.

  163. Flair challenging Luger seems weird, and then factoring in it's for the secondary belt. Definitely an odd scenario.

  164. No one in their right mind could book a live PPV without any pre-determined matches. I would hope.

  165. Yep, her breast are a thing of beauty.

  166. I'm in SD too (uverse) and my experience on my brand new tablet is awfulawful. Haven't been able to make it through a whole show. And Xbox obviously isn't an option

  167. WCW would. But, yeah, they were gimmicked.

  168. There's a great moment where Flair yells, "Turner! Herd! This is for you!" as he pops Luger with a punch. A worked shoot comment I'm sure.

  169. The only catch up here is that they might be hamstrung by their agreements with Sportsnet 360 - so NXT / Vintage / etc. might not make it on.

But since everything's from a single content provider, I don't think it'll be anywhere near as bad as Netflix.

  170. Thanks. I figured they would, but I could see it working if the guys are pros, and can improvise a match on the fly.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Hopefully they can work it out. Any rumours on a launch date?

  172. The way the Mania card is shaping up I almost want to get the network the day after WM just so they can count my subscription as a buy

  173. With Starrcade '91, the matches were very random and could be passed off as believable drawings. Like Jushin Liger teaming with Bill Kazmaier... that's just out there.

  174. Oh, I'm looking forward to watching all of them. Four and five may be hard to get through (although I love the two singles title matches at 5), but 6-8 are great fun.

  175. I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEWS,Cena will not have a match with The Undertaker.

  176. Next year at the earliest, from what I've heard. I wouldn't expect it before the UK goes online, for one thing.

  177. There are a bunch of In Your Houses that would be fun to rip apart.

    ReplyDelete
  178. And it led to the match quality being really hit or miss. The Bagwell/Garvin vs. Hayes/Smothers match just has some terrible chemistry in it.

  179. Watching Survivor Series '96. Undertaker's bat entrance was awesome

    ReplyDelete
  180. Todd Pettengill in general would be fun to rip apart.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Another historical fact on that show, it's subtitle was "Fall Brawl" which is a name that would get its own PPV a few years later.

    ReplyDelete
  182. The thing with In Your House is that if you got one good match, it's enough to make the show worthwhile.

And since they had Bret and HBK, it's rare that you didn't get that (IYH4, come on down!)

  183. I watched porn and jacked off multiple times while in the hospital but I was a patient not a doctor.

  184. Also, who's the guy that WWE uses to narrate all of their stuff? He's been around seemingly forever and his voice is awesome. Reminds me of the Dragon Ball Z narrator.

    ReplyDelete
  185. BTW, has anybody here been able to catch Beware Of Dog all the way through? Is Shawn throwing a fit during his match kept intact?

    ReplyDelete
  186. I saw that, that line is immpresive. He's a good man, he spent all that time taking pictures and signing autographs when he could have been upstairs railing a Bella. Very cool!

    ReplyDelete
  187. It just means he rails the Bella later.

    ReplyDelete
  188. We HAVE to use November To Remember '97. Ripping apart Sabu/Sandman would be fun as hell.
