  1. Good evening.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Looks like a pretty meh show.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Swagger,is time to job.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Someone let me know a rating for christain vs sheamus

    ReplyDelete
  5. This match has been pretty good so far.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Swagger is pretty as a midcarder, nothing more or less.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Cesaro vs. Bryan...again...YES!

    ReplyDelete
  8. "Swagger is pretty"

    ReplyDelete
  9. It would be funny if Bryan just connected the knee right away.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Don't do this.

    ReplyDelete
  11. What's better for business and booking: WWE's method of having the champ constantly wrestle 15-20 minute non-title matches on free TV? Or what TNA is doing with Magnus, in which the champ rarely wrestles a real singles match on TV, theoretically making his matches seem like a bigger deal?

    ReplyDelete
  12. 80's style. World champion rarely had singles matches on TV. You'd have to pay to see him wrestle in your city at house shows or on PPV. Over exposure is never a good thing in wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm NWA fanboy so this is my typo of booking,if the cham fights on tv,it has to be in tag match and he should not take the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yep! I love that style. Or have him squash someone once a month or so if he did wrestle singles.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Have the champ in Non-title match rarely, and ever more if he loses. If the guy beats the champ,he can instantly cash a title shot.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ROH is having their 12th anniversary show tonight. The card actually doesn't look too bad.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think they are really gonna let Orton with the title.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is the VOD going to be out tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'll see later.Isn't Bennett challenging Briscoe's belt?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm at about 95% thinking Orton retains.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Save your garbage, throw in the ring of WM at Batista vs Orton.

    ReplyDelete
  22. So what's the final word, who is getting the WWE Network and who isn't?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am getting it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Not avaiable at Brazil,I don't care of getting even if was possible.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I am trying to get the first ever RoH show to review for the blog tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What show are you gonna watch first?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I watched GWF on ESPN Classic for the first time the other day. The only guys I recognized were Booker T (half of "Ebony Experience" with Stevie Ray, but Ray wasn't at that particular show) and Axl & Ian Rotten (as "Bad Breed"). Anybody else caught GWF on Classic? Is it worth DVR'ing?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Pay attention to Adam Cole and Kevin Steen.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I rag in Steen for being fat bu the can go in the ring. That I never doubted.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thinking of all the PPV's first and I think it might be Great American Bash 89

    ReplyDelete
  31. Excellent choice, somehow Iwould make a ECW PPV marathon.

    ReplyDelete
  32. 12. Will encores of Raw, SmackDown and Main Event be on WWE Network?
The Best of Raw and SmackDown from 2012 and 2013 will be available on WWE Network.

Hmmmmmm, so no Raw/Smackdown's aside from a couple DVD comps?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Jerry Lynn vs. Sean Waltman. Those matches were way ahead of their time.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I used to love GWF on ESPN, I would watch it after school Mondays through Thursdays (they never showed it on Fridays). Lots of fun, early GWF had Sean Waltman, Eddie Gilbert, the Patriot, and even Cactus Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Right now, I'm thinking watching any WCW PPV with Sting-Vader. I love me some Sting-Vader matches.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I will definitely check those out

    ReplyDelete
  37. Their strap match at SB III was my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  38. "Come Sting to the White Castle of fear"

    ReplyDelete
  39. They really killed Cody's reaction.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Right? SBIII may be the first thing I cur up!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hard to find a nice clean copy of the PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 6:51 PM

So.....we were going to get CM Punk vs. Triple H at WM. Then Punk left, and it looked like maybe DB was his replacement. Then they decided to swap out H's with Kane. How about Daniel Bryan vs. Kane at WM. Smell the buys.

I typed this with about as much excitement as it reads.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Millions and millions of dollars for WM 30.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I used to have it on two VHS taped for me off of PPV at my parents' house. I really have no idea if that stuff is still up there.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Can we limit thebraziliankid to something like one post for every twelve hours?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Haha I remember taping PPV's on two VHS' too. Dumb VCR couldn't tape in SLP.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hmmm....is it just me, or does Rey move slower these days than anyone else in this match? Compare his running to Wyatt's, for example...

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think he is done once his contract ends in a few months

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think Kane vs Bryan will happen before Mania. I think they'll put Bryan in with Triple H at Mania or in the WWE title match.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:01 PM

This thread is livelier than an Amish prayer circle.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I got fucked up at one of those, English.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Harper putting Rey into the barricade made me giggle in glee.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'll try and continue yesterday's polls...

    Favorite opening match ever?

    ReplyDelete
  54. DDP is going to be on Shark Tank soon if anybody is interested.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yes TNAs method is knocking them dead at the box office.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:02 PM

It's funny how when the Mrs quotes "Witness", and I confuse it for "Kingpin".

    ReplyDelete
  57. Bret-Owen at WMX, and Dolph-Edge at Rumble 11.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:03 PM

    Liger - Pillman, Superbrawl II

    ReplyDelete
  59. Psycosis vs Rey,Bash at the beach 96.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I don't know why he needs more money. The guy has to be loaded.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Angle vs Rey Summerslam 2002

    ReplyDelete
  62. Just put that on. I actually think its a good show.

    ReplyDelete
  63. One of the reasons he got over in the first place was his speed and agility, and he's just obsolete now with guys like Ziggler and Bryan.

    ReplyDelete
  64. When I go out my girlfriend says "I pardon you." We both have a little laugh, but when I'm briskly walking towards my car she starts shooting at me from a guard tower.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yes me too, I have it on my DVR to record every week. I got really caught up in the buisness aspect of the show. Also it's fun seeing idiots and assholes get taken to school by Kevin.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Better show?

    GAB 91 or Summerslam 93?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:10 PM

My head just exploded....again. I don't how many times this needs to happen before I finally get the hint.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well, I'm sure he made some decent money from WCW and his short time in WWE. But let's not overestimate the guys worth, he's not The Rock or Cena. Also he probably has already put a good amount of his own money into the buisness.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Bret-Doink pretty much makes it Summerslam, GAB is the second worst show of all time.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Who thought dance off would be a good idea.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Gomez Addams is still alive.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Emma is not getting over at all right now

    ReplyDelete
  73. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:13 PM

*ugh*. Give me a bottle of cyanide and WWECW December to Dismember, please.

    ReplyDelete
  74. This gimmick won't get over with WWE.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Haven't seen her NXT work,So from what I saw,she sucks big time.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:16 PM

Yeah, Ron Simmons may be the first black champion, but he still only comes on TV once or twice a year to say "DAY-UM!"

    ReplyDelete
  77. Russev looks like a weirder Michael Elgin

    ReplyDelete
  78. Certainly not in the way they are presenting her. Her segments are all dead.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Dolph - Welcome to Rock Bottom!

    ReplyDelete
  80. He doesn't have the bald spot,so far.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I think Emma and Santino are fun. Yeah, I know.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Serious question, if Darren Young gets fired, does he have a career in AAA or CMLL as Juan Cena?

    ReplyDelete
  83. This spy guy has a worse business idea than the bicycle smoothie guy

    ReplyDelete
  84. At least Dolph will put Titus over strong.

    ReplyDelete
  85. That dynamic might work, actually. Santino can make lemonade out of lemons and Emma is likable.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Santino hasn't been fun since the Honk-A-Meter.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Havoc '91 six-man. Keep being you, Phila.

    ReplyDelete
  88. What name would you choose if Miz and Ziggler became team.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I need to start reading spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I don't think the guy should take that offer honestly. But he should take the advice, scrap the Utah idea and keep traveling places doing seminars. I said that before Kevin.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Poor Ziggler. Remember when he was challenging for the world title? Now he needs a lousy distraction just to beat Titus O'Neil.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Gonna see what they have in the li-bary. You never know how they'll launch. Some old Spectrum shows would be great.

    ReplyDelete
  93. the Cleveland Steamers

    ReplyDelete
  94. I do like Titus well enough, but why the hell waste him like they are? I don't know anything about him beyond the rumors I hear on here, but he seems to give it a good/great effort every time he's out there. Plus, when he cashed in, it was the biggest pop of recent memory (pre-Bryan/Wyatt) thingy. I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Edited to clarify what the hell I'm talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Neo job Squad would be my pick.

    ReplyDelete
  97. His yap gets him in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  98. You should pay to see the champion defend his title. Squash city, non-title all the way. This is why there are secondary titles; the old St. Louis territory almost never defended the Missouri title when the NWA champion was in town. Protect the belts!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I disagree, there are plenty of survivolist and apology pose people out there. He just had a bad buisness plan, he needs to keep traveling and doing seminars for everyday defense and maybe lower the price point per person.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Did I already miss him being on? I completely forgot it was tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Kyrie Irving 3-16 tonight. Yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  102. He's improved immensely since pairing with Dutch. He has every tool in the box, now to put them together.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Wow, Daymond gave him an offer and he took it

    ReplyDelete
  104. I do not care for the Usos.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I care less for the Outlaws.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I was surprised too but it wasn't a bad deal for either party. Hopefully Damon gets him to drop the Utah idea. Ever notice how Daymon does that a lot, gives somebody an offer and says "take it now or it's gone". Always seemed like a dick move.

    ReplyDelete
  107. They are a solid team but when they split up, I dont think they will find success as solo wrestlers. They will have to completely re-event themselves and that is really tough to do today.

    ReplyDelete
  108. That's his style. He almost bullies people into taking a deal.

    ReplyDelete
  109. They seem to me like a very late 80's early 90's low/mid-card team. Meh.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I'm glad they're willing to cannibalize a perfectly skilled and reliable talent just to prove a petty point.

    ReplyDelete
  111. The Fabulous Ones. It's been decades.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Can Del Rio still be saved from midcard hell?

    ReplyDelete
  113. It's really depressing that we're at a point that you have to type "WHEN the split up."

    ReplyDelete
  114. Bubba Bomb by Jey Uso? Okay.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Space Jam 2 is being made starring LeBron.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I read that he's leaving soon, lol

    ReplyDelete
  117. He's flopped as both a heel and a face in the last year. If he's saved up enough money, he should just go.

    ReplyDelete
  118. About time Lebron took his talents to outer space. Can he stay there?

    ReplyDelete
  119. It's sad, they did a good job protecting him until WM 27,after that it went downhill.

    ReplyDelete
  120. that evaluation is waaaaaay off Page.

    ReplyDelete
  121. What stage of DDP yoga is the face lifts and botox?

    ReplyDelete
  122. DDP is on Shark Tank right this moment

    ReplyDelete
  123. Why the hate for Summerslam 93? Razor establishes himself as a babyface, Stieners/Bodies is perfectly good old school tag team wrestling, the Bret/Doink/Lawler stuff is terrific and the throwaway 6-man is all action from start to finish. It's not even the worst show the WWF did that year, never mind the stream of bullshit from WCW.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I'm being serious. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/22/space-jam-2-is-happening

    ReplyDelete
  125. And we still haven't got a Incredibles sequel.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Did you see his sell job last night?

    ReplyDelete
  127. I really hope TNA doesn't sign him.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Sheesh, at least use someone with charisma like Blake Griffin.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I doubt TNA can afford to pay him any more than a deal in Mexico would.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Shoulda went with Jake

    ReplyDelete
  131. Welp that sucked for Page.

    ReplyDelete
  132. So Christian cuts a heel promo earlier in the show and gets a face pop?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Sheamus cuts face promos and gets booed, weird symmetry

    ReplyDelete
  134. So is there any way short of his pod door breaking locked Christian's not the first one out Sunday?

    ReplyDelete
  135. He couldn't lose - the exposure is great.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Unless Orton/Bryan starts, and they decide to do a title change...highly, highly unlikely.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Summerslam 1993 is a solid card. Steiners-Bodies is a really underrated tag match and the six-man between the Smoking Guns-Tatanka vs Headshrinkers-Bam Bam was so much better than it had any right to be.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:48 PM

Maybe Wile E. Coyote can blow LeBron the fuck up with his Acme dynamite stack.

    ReplyDelete
  139. DDP didn't get the deal by the way. Although it sounds like his buisness is doing pretty good. As long as he doesn't try to grow too fast he should continue to see a slow and steady upturn in profit. It's never going to be a HUGE buisness honestly but it'll be a nice decent sized buisness for the foreseeable future.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Still hoping against hope I see.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Christ, I'll never figure out how to work it

    ReplyDelete
  142. Poor Christian, chamber afterthought, made of glass, and working hella stiff with sheamus

    ReplyDelete
  143. Normally, I'd make a job about having Cole explain it, but Cole doesn't look like he knows anything about exercise these days.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'd die if they got Tony Schiavone to do a demonstration.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:52 PM

Sheamus vs. Christian. Winner gets a last name. Choices are Johnson, Smith, O'Doyle and McGonigle. WWE app users get to vote.

    ReplyDelete
  146. They should just start fucking with people and give the one named guys two next

    ReplyDelete
  147. Can Ryback be saved from Midcard hell?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Oh I wanted to ask a question on here. Anybody else remember when the WWE did the Championship Scramble matches where like six people are in a match (sometimes coming out in intervals like in the rumble, sometimes not) and pins and submissions happen but the match keeps going for like 20-30 minutes. Whoever got the last pin/submission in that time limit walks out the champion.

Now I was watching one recently and every time a person "won" it said "New WWE Champion....." on the screen. So are all those pins and wins considered official title wins? If so that means Paul London can count himself as a former WWE Champion.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:54 PM

One of these guys is a creative change in direction away from having no names.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Huh, they did that for the big belts? I remember it for hardcore

    ReplyDelete
  151. No,it wasn't considered the unofficial champion, until the match ended.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:55 PM

I believe during those matches, they made it clear that only the final decision stood.

    ReplyDelete
  153. It was Kendrick not London, but only the last person was ever credited as champion.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I thought Sheamus fell for a sec.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Very true, I've heard of plenty of businesses that saw an increase in business after going on Shark Tank. It just sucked he didn't get a deal. But honestly, 200K for 5% seemed a bit much.

    ReplyDelete
  156. As much as I disliked his push last year, I'm kinda liking BowlyBack. They should let him roll around in that for awhile, ditch hennig though

    ReplyDelete
  157. They showed a production truck with Heath Slater on it, and JBL is saying Christian is too ugly to be on there?

    ReplyDelete
  158. Somehow I got a fever/flu type thing today and I'm laying around sick so I'll probably watch smack down tonight instead of Saturday am. I've just been watching the lady killers and fever sleeping

BTW better Marlon wayans movie (the movie, not his performance:
Requiem for a dream or Ladykillers?

    ReplyDelete
  159. Black Hair vs. Brown Hair is up next!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Stranger in the AlpsFebruary 21, 2014 at 7:57 PM

It's only to remind people that Slater still works here.

    ReplyDelete
  161. They should have given him the IC title after he lost to Punk and let him destroy the midcard.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Requiem for a dream.

    ReplyDelete
  163. So Darren get his revenge on Titus by blowing on his whistle? Ummm.. Okay...

    ReplyDelete
  164. I'm reading ROH spoilers for the 12th ann. show

    ReplyDelete
  165. I think he could work in a tag team. Give him a good Ricky Morton type to do the heavy-lifting and Ryback can be the hot-tag guy who cleans house and destroys people

    ReplyDelete
  166. A little push can go a long way

    ReplyDelete
  167. Christian doesn't even lose to primary finishers any more, poor bugger

    ReplyDelete
  168. Not a bad route to go actually. But I stupid and don now how 2 upper load this app thingy without Cole giving me instructions. Does it work on a rotary phone? Michael isn't there to tell me! How do I go to the bathroom? How do I make a sand which? How do I have sex? I need an app that has Cole giving me detailed instructions on how to do everyday things. But first I need Cole to tell me how to download said app. This went on too long.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I was actually liking his initial push,he wasn't perfect but with some work could have improved.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Christian is now a JTTS.

    ReplyDelete
  171. tj: for someone that couldn't care less about the olympics, how much longer til the universal channels go back to normal?

    ReplyDelete
  172. Wouldn't it make just sense to actually show the NXT crowds doing her dance? I'm a pretty "smart" fan and I don't watch NXT at all. Without context, the dance just looks goofy.

    ReplyDelete
  173. If the IC title meant what it once did, I think ADR could have been great as that upper-card heel. The Rick Rude, Curt Hennig type guy who can main event, but is mostly an IC-level dude. They crammed him down everyone's throat early and often and kind of got spit back out

    ReplyDelete
  174. That's the 3MB tour bus. There's a great shot of Jinder in a purple tux on the other side.

    ReplyDelete
  175. "Jimmy Uso's here and he's here to Make A Difference"

    ReplyDelete
  176. I'm still waiting for "Breakin' 3: Electric Boogalee"

    ReplyDelete
  177. Ah OK, just wasn't sure if they were credited. And yeah, I watched the match, knew it was Kendrick when I wrote that out up there I saw Kendrick in my head but for some reason wrote Paul London. The brain is weird sometimes.
