Kayfabe Commentaries "YouShoot" with the Insane Clown Posse Released Today

Below is a clip of the trailer

Comments

  1. I would like the Money in the Bank winner to get a guaranteed shot at SummerSlam instead of this hotshotting the title bullshit they've been doing forever. Take the time to build a guy up in June, then pull the trigger in August.

    ReplyDelete
  2. 1. Makes sense
    2. I smell a run in
    3. I got the network, so I don't care. My guess is they got a bunch of angry callers/emailers
    4. Sure why not.
    5. Could care less

    ReplyDelete
  3. Money in the Bank has now become a staple within the company so you can't change it now. I just wish they bring the King of the Ring back with the winner getting a title shot at Summerslam.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm just curious, but I wonder if Bryan will get any revenge prior to Wrestlemania on HHH or will HHH continue to look strong every week? He's beat him up the last 2 of the 3 weeks and Bryan was kept off TV last night from said attack. This fits the pattern (for years, by the way) where HHH makes himself strong in every segment never giving the opponent any leverage and then in the match, HHH looks invincible only to lose in a weak way. Anyone who thinks Bryan looks better because of HHH is kidding themselves because the build so far sucks and again shows that HHH doesn't understand how to build opponents. Maybe it will change next week, but I have serious doubts.

Especially considering how dead the crowds were the previous two weeks, I think it would have been smarter to put Bryan out in front of the Brooklyn crowd last night and have him get the insane NYC reaction rather than sell the injuries for an extra week. I really don't understand why they would pass up such a sure thing great moment as Bryan-in-Brooklyn when they're trying to build excitement for Mania.

    ReplyDelete
  6. They barely did that with the King of the Ring crown tho

    ReplyDelete
  7. I think the build has been tremendous. I want to see Bryan kick Triple H's ass, and they now have me interested in Batista/Orton.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yes, a big show main event!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Plus, if Bryan get's revenge before WM, that sort of defeats the purpose of wanting to see him beat Triple H up at WM. I don't think they need any more heat one way or the other at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I don't get why "selling the injury" means not showing up. How many times have we seen Cena/Hogan/any face show up limping or with taped ribs to get sympathy?

I mean, wouldn't it have been twice as awesome to have a beat up Bryan show up and get beat down AGAIN by Triple H? Go for broke on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Man, if I'm the WWE, I would have Triple H kick the shit out of Bryan on every Raw until WrestleMania. This is one case where you want Triple H to look invincible, so when Bryan makes him tap out, it means everything.

You have to go all out here if youre the WWE. You got the crowd by the shorthairs on this one...you want them angry at HHH and every time they made HHH look good, they get more angry.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Bryan: As long as he's in New Orleans in two weeks, and WINNING, we're good.
Smackdown: Bray, a miracle worker could be you?
Dish: Money wins. Half of something is still more than nothing.
PPV: So WM-ER-MITB... then a lot of "nothing" until next year's Rumble. Fun.
YouShoot: One more, then I can buy. Although that Guest Booker coming out in May looks... interesting. (Bruce Prichard: Screwing Bret. I assume not in the Patterson way.)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, I agree with that approach with anyone but him, but looking at HHH's history, he hasn't been the best person to build up a great match where he'll takes a major ass kicking in the end. Punk, Booker T, RVD, Goldberg, Orton, etc., he has a history of making himself look great at the expense of his opponent.

I wanted DBry to show up in a Scooby-Doo outfit and jump on HHH. When the cops pulled him off DBry would scream, I would have gotten away with if it weren't for you meddling kids!!"

    ReplyDelete
  15. I agree with this with anyone but HHH. HHH has a history of making himself look great at the expense of his opponent. I just have a feeling that Bryan will come out looking worse because of this match.

    ReplyDelete
  16. That Brooklyn crowd last night NEEDED Daniel Bryan. They were pretty hot to start off and would have gone nuclear if Bryan showed up at some point towards the end of the show. There were YES! chants all over the place, from outside the building when the doors were opened to the subway stop outside Barclays when a train pulled up.

    What a stupid mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think it's one of those "missed opportunities" that we never saw someone winning the briefcase at WrestleMania and cashing it in on the same night.

    ReplyDelete

  24. The build has made HHH look like an out of touch, insecure, douchebag. What show are you watching?

  26. It was beyond dumb to keep him off the show. Made no sense.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Just give up. Some people will simply rather die than give HHH even an ounce of praise.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Porn-Peddling Jef VinsonMarch 25, 2014 at 9:23 AM

HHH beating the brakes of DBry only to lose by fluke roll up or DQ (with an enraged HHH destroying him afterwards to the point he's carried off on a stretcher) looks likely.
This way DBry gets his win on HHH goes into the main event as an underdog and HHH can brag that he lost on some bullshit (while looking strong in the process.)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bad trend developing with wrestling podcasts: The same guest hitting up all the shows at the same time. Lita was on Jericho's, then Renee's, and I think she is going on JR's. Lita is not that fucking interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  30. ARRRRGH THE BARBARIANMarch 25, 2014 at 9:36 AM

And Brock is the underdog, it's just kind of nonsensical. This is one of these feud where less is more, basically, two guys want to fight. Who's the biggest badass. Trips like alot of that 80's style NWA/WCW stuff, I'm surprised he didn't win out on this. His own program is awesome, this stuff, not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I mostly agree with you. I think this character works so much cause it's how people picture him/what him to be. In that regard it's not hard to get emotionally involved in it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Or bring the awesome like Punk did by throwing Paul Bearer's ashes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think it's possible to care any less for Orton and Batista. Taker and Brock is straight out of the New Generation playbook. I'm digging HHH and Stephanie but they seriously need to find better people to surround themselves with. Also wish that the Wyatts would actually do something different. They are just all talk.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Clearly I haven't. Regardless, the whole thing is dumb and makes AJ the biggest babyface in the match.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 2 weeks out and what a piece of shit Raw. I wonder if they see it as a problem that the biggest heel in the company is a guy that works in the office? I cant believe that last segment. Is this 1994? Im hoping the crown turns on Taker during this match. The guy is so lame.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yeah, I had not been a Cena fan, but the rate at which he comes back when he doesn't need to and how well he represents himself have made me a fan. At the same time I absolutely think he could be in bad shape in 10-20 years. Look at Hogan -- he wrestled an "easy" style (landing on your ass six days out of the week for years isn't easy, but he wasn't doing shooting star presses or even dropping top rope elbows) with an incredible schedule and now his knees, back, hips, etc. are all shot. Hogan also took far more days off than Cena does.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hogan's broke down because he took way, way too much 'roids.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Exactly. I'd expect that pretty soon there's going to be so much stuff that it's going to be near impossible to know what you've seen if you're going at it piecemeal.

    ReplyDelete
  39. You keep trying to make it appear as if the people who disagree with you are just Punk fanboys, yet all of your posts are making it clear that you're not exactly on the rational side of things, either.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Seriously, did he bang your girlfriend, or what?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think Marv acknowledges straight out he doesn't like the guy, which I'm sure means most of us can infer that there might be a bias. It doesn't necessarily mean he is wrong (I mean, I agree with him ;) ), but I recognize that it's there.

Although in his posts I didn't see anything that said that people who disagree with him are just Punk fanboys.

    ReplyDelete
  42. "His personality traits, IMO, they're all wrestler traits, I don't think he's really any different than anyone else. If he wasn't a "look at me!" type of person, he'd be Phil Brooks, the car mechanic. Goes for alot of these guys."

    BINGO

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes because booze and pills make people look better

    ReplyDelete
  44. Actually to be fair, even Austin himself has basically said that Austin's telling the WWE brass to fuck off the way he did was "whiny baby". It's probably not the first example I'd use. But I think I get what you're saying.

There's only an obligation if he had a further commitment, but without that knowledge it's hard to state one way or another. I think the reason this subject tends to be more divisive than something like Austin is that Austin didn't already have a large public image of being an unhappy whiner. I'm betting that has worked against Punk in terms of the opinions of a group of wrestling fans on an internet blog. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  45. The problem is under the current pay structure everyone would make 25% less money

    ReplyDelete
  46. Cena has to be taking something though. Unless he really us Superman. In which case I'm pissed he's not stopping terrorism.

    ReplyDelete
  47. If Punk stuck around he would have lost to Triple H at Wrestlemania and everyone would have thrown a fit about it.

Instead he said he wasn't working with Triple H and went home.

You can't be pissed off at both things at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Still a great match..especially considering what Bret was working with. Bulldog needed constant rest holds to catch his breath, screwed up a couple big spots and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anyone know the story behind jyd missing wrestle war 89?

    ReplyDelete
  50. I kinda resent Punk simply because hes made it clear he doesn't like his fanbase. Punk owes a lot to the fans that helped get him over in ROH, that cheered for him against all odds in ECW/08, and that got invested in his direction change in 11. ITs one thing to savage smarks (and some really do deserve it, like the people who genuinely believe Cena sucks.), but at least keep it to yourself and save the hate for the KC shoot interview in 2020.

Heck, maybe everyone secretly resents their fanbase, but people like Bryan and Ziggler handle it well, yknow? Even Cena deserves credit for just laughing at himself instead of going on a decidedly non-PG twitter rant(which he'd be totally justified to do).

    ReplyDelete
  51. RIGHT?!?! THAT is what I like to see.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Your second sentence is fact. The first one isn't. Just pointing it out.

    With tears in my eyes

  53. Go back to bed, Brandon Stroud.

    ReplyDelete
  54. "Plenty of other level-headed people who aren't such assholes that literally their entire family hates them get along just fine without drugs."

Ever consider the idea that Punk's family aren't exactly good people?

    ReplyDelete
  55. You guys are so cool and manly. It's easy to be misogynistic on a website whose community consists of what, 1 female? How brave. And yes, I'm such a "white knight" because I'm clearly standing up for all the ladies on here... except that there aren't any. You sure got me!

    ReplyDelete
  56. wrestlers don't owe anyone shit. fuck that attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree Cena has to be taking something. There is no way he can keep going all the time, not missing days, coming back early from injuries and be clean. Just not possible. When Cena does finally break down it's gonna be brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I just compared you to another overly-preachy SJW wrestling writer. I didn't say anything about white knights or bravery.

    ReplyDelete
  59. So calling out one instance of sexism makes me "overly preachy"?

    ReplyDelete
  60. It will end with me shaving your head, you on your admitting that you have been a petulant child but thanks to Parallax1978 you have now been... SAVED.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yeah, didn't Punk's brother steal money from him? And the fact that his friend's family embraced him as one of their own seems to indicate that his own family was pretty bad.

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's 2014. I expected some civility.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Women are objects to be used for men's pleasure and service. Get over it.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Right. I'm being the immature one. That makes perfect sense.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm sure I'm not the only female who lurks on these boards :) I will cut Scott some slack since he is Canadian. Ohhhhh snap!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I enjoy the shows he gives me, I pay money to see them and I cheer him on when I see him in live events. That's the give and take of my relationship to CM Punk. He doesn't owe me anything more as a fan than I already have. If fans annoy the piss out of him after work, fine. He's not on the clock anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  67. If you can't remember whether or not you've watched it, isnt that the same as having never seen it?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Good. I am glad you are smart enough to agree. Now change your position, and apologize to everyone for being wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Until the guys figure out what payoffs for PPV are going to be with the advent of the Network, there will be nobody volunteering to take time off. House shows and selling merchandise are how most of them make a good chunk of their money.

All I could ever find was that he skipped the show, and was fired soon after. When Watts came in, he brought him back.

  72. Ugh...1992 is the depths of Vince's "1, 2 ,3 he got him..oh no he didn't" soooo annoying. Crowd is crazy for this Savage/Perfect vs. Flair Razor match though.

    ReplyDelete
  73. See you have already made 2 posts without having told me everything I am doing wrong so I am clearly safe here.

    ReplyDelete
  74. You are a 2/2 that has Protection From Black and First Strike

    ReplyDelete
  75. Yeah but he can show off a copy of his post and use it to get laid. Why don't you try and think about how that line made the pigs cm punk has slammed feel if they read it you sexist pig.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I wonder how many upvotes you will get from people that are too fucking stupid to know sarcasm when they see it...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Does that make you even more brave to call it out? If you have a real problem why not either email Scott and complain to him (lol) or not read this "misogynistic" blog?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ummmm no, cuz she fucks for free. Stop being so sexist dude.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yeah, he's not the best in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Watched the favorite rivalries Roundtable. Good stuff.

They showed the Rock/Austin sit down interview 10 days before Mania in full, that interview was incredible. Rock and Austin were at their peak and they could fool even the biggest smark into thinking they never liked each other legit.

They also showed the classic promo between HBK and Bret Hart the night after Bad Blood 1997. God Shawn was such a great douchebag heel in late 1997.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Watts has nothing to do with it. Jim Herd and Kip Frye used JYD, but Watts didn't.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'd take a few misplaced up votes for the stat line.

And seriously, its more like para-lacks any understanding of how hard this world is for women...amirite!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. You are a real prick you know that? Do you have any idea how expensive the ointment for that SICK BURN will be?

    ReplyDelete
  84. According to DM they still haven't explained that. My guess is that the middle guys are about to start making a whole lot less money.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I called it out because I know Scott responds to comments from time to time. He's not the first or last wrestling fan to have that type of attitude, but it's something that people should think about a little bit more before they post. The double standard here, where Punk is the one who people might consider promiscuous because he's had multiple romantic relationships in the wrestling business, yet the women on the other end are considered the "skanks", is worth noting, that's all. I'm not calling myself brave by any means, but jumping all over me because I pointed it out doesn't seem to get the point, either.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I haven't watched a single thing on the "live" stream so no it hasn't bored me lol

  87. Stranger in the AlpsMarch 25, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Pretty sure JYD teamed with Ron Simmons on WCW Saturday Night in '92.

    ReplyDelete
  88. If anything, the move of Bryan's that scares me most is when he runs and then jumps through the ropes to the outside. Especially when his head makes hard contact with the guard rail when his opponent moves aside (I think Wyatt did that at the Rumble). THAT looks like it can cause concussions and neck injuries very easily.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Damn... that skank owes me $3 back then!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well he pretty much is actually. How many people are really better pro wrestlers? Cm punk is better on the mic than DB and they are so close in ring skills its hard to call. He's a better worker than anyone on TNA's roster or wwes other than maybe Bryan/Rollins/zayn but its close. Tanahasi might be better but if punk got to have 60 minute matches all the time it might not be so clear.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hmmm...was it in quarters? Cuz I might have stolen it from her purse after I was done.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Punk is a gaping asshole. Everyone knows this. But if his heart isn't in it then he shouldn't be out there performing dangerous moves that could parallax--I mean paralyze someone.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Well I was going through the purse to see if her drivers license had her officially listed at over 300 pounds, or if they let her say 290 to be nice and just decided to swipe some money to grab a coffee on the walk home.
