If WWE ever acknowledged TNA's existence, I'd subscribe to the network if they did a test pattern only on Thursday nights with "It's either this or TNA" on the screen.
I still don't get why anyone is expecting a significant content upgrade until July/August. They want to KEEP us as subscrbiers. They aren't going to give it all up at once.
What exactly is it that makes TNA watchable? They aren't even WWE-light. They're like the generic off brand knock-off grocery store version of "sports entertainement" that's being sold at the discount grocer that sells all the cereal that's past it's "best buy" date but it's still technically legal to sell.
No way. If they could draw a quarter of that then they wouldn't be on syndicated TV on 1/15th of the markets. ROH has a small niche audience that's MUCH smaller than TNA's.
If you go into watching TNA or any other show with a negative attitude than that is your fault. They have entertaining storylines with great continuity and a very talented roster. They just need to work on some small kinks and they will be golden. I don't understand the hate on TNA. It makes zero sense. WWE has been 90% ass for the past couple of years yet people defend them like they are God's.
Same way people clown me for wearing Reebok when Nike is the biggest brand in the world. I don't give a fuck who endorses the shoe, I wear what I like and is comfortable. Same with WWE and TNA.
TNA is not a knock-off WWE. Both companies have been caught using each other's ideas. If you are too blind to see that then oh well. ROH may be an "actual wrestling program", but that's just it. No fans want an actual wrestling program. They want a mix of wrestling and storylines. That is why ROH is on Boo Boo sydnicated TV at random hours of the day and TNA is drawing and has drawn 1+ million viewers on a regular basis for 8 years. ROH can't grow and won't grow because they cater to too small of a fanbase.
Neville defends against a #1 contender that had yet to be decided, and a women's title match with contestants yet to be determined. Both should be determined by the end of the tapings.
Could this lead to a Tyson Kidd push? Kidd looks a lot better than he did with the duck hair, but I feel like he's missing something. Maybe a mullet, some stubble, and a leather vest, would do the trick.
He got ejected in the second inning of the game yesterday because he was very clearly using pine tar on his neck. Against the same team who let it go a couple of starts ago. Freaking stupid.
MLB suspended him today for 10 games. He'll miss one start.
It's like choosing between a douche and a terd sandwich. The dichotomy in their fan bases/viewers are different. I'd be really curious what ROH would do with a time slot like tnas.
I really think 90% of the people who watch tna are wrestling fans who watch tna bc it's there, as opposed to TNA fans. This 90% would watch ROH if it was on
Nope, he was that stupid. Yankees lost 5-1 yesterday, and today they're blowing the Sox out 10-2 behind CC.
I got tickets to the Yankees-Mariners game next Tuesday, Pineda was supposed to pitch. I swear to God, if I get Vidal Nuno instead, I'll be fucking pissed.
Literally a week after Daniel Bryan won the world title, TNA had their "little guy with a beard" win their "world" title.
Now, you can tell me they both steal from each other, but that is exactly what happened and I (and I'm sure MANY MANY OTHERS) are framing it the exact same way, and that make TNA look like a WWE knockoff, plain and simple.
Currently in the 24/7 live chat with WWE Network and asked them about adding Prime Time episodes since my e-mail never received a response.
