1990 GAB for me.
ReplyDeleteI would have gone with WrestleMania X8, WrestleMania 2000, and Armageddon 1999 myself.
ReplyDeleteDude... let's just do the Hall of Fame live post on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteKick, WHAM, Pedigree for you.
ReplyDeleteOr Rumble 02, Mania 25, and Armageddon 03.
ReplyDeleteI think out of the six of those... Mania 25 was the only one that pissed me off. Perfect chance to just LAUNCH Orton into the stratosphere to get him on that Cena level... but they waited a month. The match structure still pisses me off too... trading finishers one minute into the match certainly led to something different, but it sucked.
ReplyDeleteThat can happen too.
ReplyDeleteThis is much better in light of the weak choices.
ReplyDeleteChi town or bust
ReplyDeleteChi Town Rumble only because one of my all time favorites finally won the Title, and led to my all time favorite match (clash of titans best of 3) and another 80's classic (Pro Wrestling Illustrated's match of the yr), plus Has there ever been a wrestler who is so revered as Steamboat that you cheered when he beat Flair and kick started one of my favorite years for wrestling
ReplyDeleteFine by me.
ReplyDeleteThere can be only one.
ReplyDeleteBash 90 or Chi Town Rumble 89, tough choice....
ReplyDeleteChi Town is a one match show.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I completely agree. They were always pushing Orton as kind of there, and he had his title reign, but then he got hurt and came back with tattoos and a new faction and started kicking people int he head...and he just had so much momentum. They were flirting with a GREAT story line leading to Wrestlemania but didn't realize it until a week before the show, naturally, but if done right, Wrestlemania ends with Orton defeating Triple H....it would have made Orton the heel Triple H was in the 2000's.
