One of the plenty of reasons I hate Paul London.

  2. Holy crap. Just got out of How To Train Your Dragon 2. If you don't have plans tonight, go check it out.

    Red Sox-Yankees for me tonight.

I was there for the Sox in the early 90's when they were horrible. This season hasn't been anything to sneeze at, but it could be MUCH worse.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Who the fuck votes for a Tracy Smothers shoot? Seriously people, step your shit up.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 5:23 PM

That's like voting The Brood the #2 faction of all time.

  6. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 5:25 PM

Also, I can't wait to hear some Freddy Joe Floyd stories.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Sometimes the guys with no name or future in the business will open up and tell the best stories.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The Rise and Fall of the Young Pistols.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Nothing he says will be more interesting that Hero discussing the inner workings of NXT.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Them making Nuno look like a CY Young pitcher in the first game of the series where they could have caught some ground felt like the nail in the coffin for this season.

    ReplyDelete
  11. So the issue is you want to hear about NXT instead of stories about the territory days? Just seems to be a matter of personal preference instead of the guy not having anything interesting to say. If that's the case then no big deal.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 5:28 PM

The offense is just downright depressing. Calling up Mookie Betts is worth a shot, but you have to put him in the lineup first (not there tonight).

Also, fuck them for sending down Rubby De La Rosa and keeping Peavy in the rotation.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Peavy feels like the old John Lackey.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I've heard thousands of stories about the territory days. I'm not going to hear anything new.

At least with Hero, it gives us something new to talk about, he is the only out there dishing on NXT.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Smothers shoot is a top 10 of all time.

    He has stories on everyone

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't think he said anything offensive or strong enough to draw hate. Actually, he sounds like a lot of people on the blog. People hate HHH. tis what it is

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yep. I didn't care for anything Danny Doring did in the business, yet his shoots are awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The Self Destruction of the FBI.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I have put the Hero shoot on the poll 3 times and it never does well for some reason

    ReplyDelete
  20. "If he's so tough, why does he use a sledgehammer" was a very dumb rhetorical question.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The Nova shoot was good too

    ReplyDelete
  22. I saw some of it. He's perhaps too careful in regards of what he says and who he bashes. Which is totally understandable, but it doesn't make for a great shoot.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I was watching Booker T vs Buff Bagwell for some reason and I have a question. Was Angle and Austin kicking Buff out of the arena planned beforehand? Looks like on-the-fly booking but I'm not too sure.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think it is probably because people like it is just some indie shoot and not a WWE one.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It better be considering he invented the shoot interview.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Is anyone going to MITB in Boston tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  27. No joke, a lot of TNA's tapings in New York sound really good. With their potential death creeping closer, this might be their last hoorah.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Some of the stuff seemed good, some of it sounded awful, and then Samoa Joe stuff is just so god damn pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  29. They said the TLC match was good.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The fact that TNA did some good stuff that might be worth-watching is a surprise in itself.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Nope, the show has basically sold out, plus the tickets were too expensive for this particular show.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Watching the game now. Love games where Tanaka pitches, and I can't wait to head out to the Stadium to see him pitch.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm going, it will be my first ever PPV. It wasn't cheap thats for sure!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 5:49 PM

Lester can hang with him, but there is just no offensive support. I can see this being a 5-1 Yankees win.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm a little annoyed that TNA didn't offer me press passes, and I was too limited on funds to go to one of the shows. From what I've read, the next few weeks actually sound pretty awesome. I might have to start watching TNA again, at least for the next 6 weeks or so.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I went to that Raw show. Even at the time it seemed like on the fly booking to me.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm not knocking Lester at all. Dude can pitch. And since the Yankees scored more than 5 runs last night, they probably won't score anything tonight. I expect a low-scoring game.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Remember when 2012 TNA was the best thing happening on wrestling?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Wasn't their a guy who claimed he sat near Brooke Hogan on a plane, and they had an excellent time chit-chatting for like 3 hours.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I wish it was tomorrow already so I could watch the finale of Penny Dreadful and the premier of the Leftovers.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yes, had I made it to one of the shows, I would have made sure to put something up Brooke's ass.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Story is that McMahon was freaking out backstage and called an audible. If that is indeed true, I have ZERO clue what the original plan was... because the run-in pretty much established WWE as faces and WCW as heels.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah I forget who that was, but it seems like it was a semi regular.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well, not the whole shoot interview... just the finish.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Eva Green carries that show. I like it though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. She is definitely the stand out, but I really like the rest of the cast too, especially Dalton.

    ReplyDelete
  47. They filmed some of that show in Queens. One of my boss' idiot sons claims he was working as a "producer" for the show. I think he meant "go-fer" for a producer. He apparently forgets I can check the crew on IMDB.

I hate my boss. And his insipid spawn.

    ReplyDelete
  48. LOVED all his work from pre-WWE right up to his WWE termination. But since then he just kind of smokes a LOT of pot and has conspiracy theories that would make Jesse Ventura roll his eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. He's also in no shape to wrestle.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yeah Dalton is class and I like the young guy who plays Dr Frankenstein too. I kind of hope it doesn't have a "happy ever after" ending. Is there gonna be a season 2 do you know?

    ReplyDelete
  51. I voted for Hero.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Maybe, but I always link the trailer to the page as well

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, they already green lit a 10 episode second season.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Sox strike first, though.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I was pissed when heard Hero was out,but in the shape he is today I can see why.

    ReplyDelete
  56. MikeyMike, King of ClevelandJune 28, 2014 at 5:58 PM

I'm at a house party and am way outta place. Apparently drinking lite beers is not apropos in comparison to doing jello shots and shotgunnin.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Sweet, maybe a cliffhanger then...

    ReplyDelete
  58. I find myself not having any earthly idea what you meant.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Never mind. I figured it out.

    ReplyDelete
  60. My predictions are that Chandler finally transforms into a werewolf, his girlfriend(can't remember her name) becomes the Bride of Frankenstein, and they don't save Meena. Maybe we get a glimpse of Dracula as a cliffhanger.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The reason you had to wear a suit yesterday...

    ReplyDelete
  62. It looks like TNA did some really good business this week.

They should just stay at the Hammerstein full time.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Uncrusimatic_Buck_NastyJune 28, 2014 at 6:05 PM

it was a botch shoot, b!rother

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah, I had already banished it from my head. I was in and out in 15 minutes.

When I have to interview people, I can, at times be very curt when I decide quickly I don't like the person. I had that happen to me yesterday. Apparently I have trouble hiding my disdain for the Beibers and Kardashians of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Austin and Angle were beating up Booker T and just completely ignoring Buff. Didn't seem strange at the time but now it comes off as the equivalent of the silent treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yep, I still cringe anytime Hardy takes a big bump.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Uncrusimatic_Buck_NastyJune 28, 2014 at 6:07 PM

    no spoilers

    ReplyDelete
  68. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 6:07 PM

You should totally hijack the iPod connected to the sound system. DJ MikeyMike can spin some Kenny G to bring everyone back to Earth.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Such a waste of time. Plus, I had to walk through Times Square in a suit. I hate getting accosted by people dressed as Disney characters. Happens every fucking time I walk through that hell hole.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 6:08 PM

    "FUCK OFF, GOOFY!"

    ReplyDelete
  71. Mostly Elmo. There are, like, 20 Elmos walking around.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 6:09 PM

    Which one was ticklish?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Probably the one hanging around the Naked Cowboy.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yeah the Irish lass is done for so they might as well reanimate her! Where there werewolf clues that I missed? I know he has a "past" but I don't recall any other hints. Oh the wolfs at the zoo I suppose.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sounds like they brought their A-game, too. Taping there once a month could probably end up helping their bottom line.

    ReplyDelete
  76. #CENAWINSLOL

Wait you meant no TNA spoilers

    ReplyDelete
  77. There have been a few other hints as well. Plus you see a werewolf right before they show Harnett's face in the credits.

  78. Stranger in the AlpsJune 28, 2014 at 6:13 PM

Stephen Drew is this year's most useless roster addition......and that includes all 30 teams.

    ReplyDelete
  79. You'll have the upper hand in a few hours though.

    ReplyDelete
  80. It won't be shown on TV because of Spike TV is against man-on-woman violence.

    ReplyDelete
  81. If that company could get a few people in top places that understood promotion and some of the business side of wrestling, that place could turn a profit.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Cm Punk is the mystery man

    ReplyDelete
  83. Like 2007 when Jarrett hit Gail Kim with a guitar.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Odb has wrestled men before fwiw

    ReplyDelete
  85. As a long-time fan of the Drew family, I have to agree.
