The Potential release thread is getting a lot of play.

  6. It is no more! It has ceased to be! It's an ex-thread!

  7. I think it because its buried on the front page under 2 other threads.

  8. The doctor said I wouldn't get so many nose bleeds if I just kept my finger outta there.

  9. Waltman was on a roll around this time. He had the really fun Clockwork Orange match with Raven the month before this I think.

  10. Does the magazine Stuff still exist?

  11. I always laugh at a sighting of light heavyweight Scott Putski

  12. Outside of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, who on the WWE roster that has never been world champion will be the next to win the world title?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Bray maaaaaaaaaybe

    ReplyDelete
  14. According to Missy Hyatt he wasn't just light in terms of weight.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think Ambrose. Aside from that, I honestly don't see anyone as world title material in the way they have been presented, which is just plain sad.

  16. He wasn't light in terms of weight. Guy was more jacked than Goldberg out there. I hadn't heard that Missy stuff, but it wouldn't surprise me.

    ReplyDelete
  17. That is sad. At one point they were talking up Big E, Titus, Ryback, Barrett and Cesaro as future world champs.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No one else really has the credibility right now to be a future champion. Booking can fix that, but that's a long-term, not a short-term fix.

  19. Holy shit, I know WWF & ECW had a subtle agreement and did some stuff together in 97, but JR's sat there on an old RAW straight up plugging Hardcore Heaven coming up that sunday on PPV. 97 was certainly a different age

  20. Yep. I could see Rusev getting to that level.

    ReplyDelete
  21. And it looks like it will be the thread of the night.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Vince plugged a UFC show around that same time period. Weird times.

  23. 05 TnA was good stuff man. Was Raven/Hardy Lockdown 05? That match was sweet as well

    ReplyDelete
  24. What was that Steph/Vince feud all about?

    ReplyDelete
  25. There's an interesting past vs present match, especially with Jerry Lynn refereeing, as he has quite a history with both of them.

  26. TNA from 2005-2007 was awesome and a genuine #2 competitor. The X-Division was on fire. They were on their way to making huge stars out of Samoa Joe, Abyss, and Bobby Roode. Aweome tag teams left and right. And they had managed to bring some veterans like Kurt Angle, Christian, the Dudleys, and Sting without going overboard like they did later. Even Jarrett was bearable with his Planet Jarrett stable.

  27. Oh man this match! Waltman in 05 was on point and this was the bomb. Not forgotten, just needed a refresher. Need to find the DVD I burned of No Surrender almost ten years ago now. Fuck, I am getting old fast.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Waltman deserved a long run in TNA. When you look at what wastes of space like Ken Andrson got it's just tragic he didn't hang long.

  29. It makes all the sense in the world to build up this storyline for a year, only to have your biggest star lose at the biggest event. Then chase Savage for the championship, which would mean a string of title matches in which Hogan wouldn't win the title back, only for the payoff to come at a smaller PPV. Sense the sarcasm
