Here is the original "Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl" from Memphis in 1979 between The Blond Bombers and Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee. The Bombers consisted of Larry Latham (Moondog Spot) and Wayne Ferris (The Honky Tonk Man). The quality isn't the greatest but good enough and the match is wild.

Funny to see pre-Honky Tonk Wayne Ferris.
ReplyDeleteBlack hair was one of the best decisions of Wayne Ferris' career.
ReplyDeleteReally bad officiating. Who cares what's happening outside the ring. Once he got the illegal men out of the ring he should have just focused on what was happening in the ring.
ReplyDeletegreat choice!
ReplyDeletelove how there's the pause where russell thinks they're done with broadcasting and then all of a sudden has to get the crew going again
and then wcw tried to mimic it in '96 at whatever ppv was in tupelo (superbrawl?)
