So after double-checking with Cox, I got informed (in a call back I just made) that a car crash took out their wires and they have crews working on it right now. But they think it won't be ready until tomorrow morning. Darn.
So... this is where you come in. Your choice, do I:
* Do this rant when the re-air comes on Saturday night, or
* Do a retro rant to make up for it?
In the meantime, I'm going to send a nasty letter to the cable company.

Neidhart he not.
ReplyDeleteTry to do the recap based off live thread descriptions?
ReplyDeleteReview TNA while you still have the chance.
ReplyDeleteYes! Best idea of the night!
ReplyDeleteA retro rant should be fine(Rebellion '02!), Dukes. I'm sure someone can pinch hit for the week.
ReplyDeletePlan C: No One Cares
ReplyDeleteBut he swerved them by sending in Jason Sensation pretending to be Russo.
ReplyDeleteDo WM9.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they just assumed it was his wife?
ReplyDeleteIf anybody in the world would have his mom negotiating his entry into porn, it would be Buff.
ReplyDeleteWhatever, it's just a bunch of fake fighting anyway!
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to be rude, but your style of reviewing RAW is annoying. Your editing skills are non-existent and you don't keep your readers GRIPPED on to your material like Scott Keith does. Frankly, your rants are boring, and they are painfully endless. I appreciate what you do and you do it with all your heart, and that is apparent. But you need to do shorten the rants and make it half-bearable. I've been meaning to tell this to you since a very long time, now that Scott has dropped recapping RAW. And as a result, we get the poor man's Scott Keith in you. Please don't take this to your heart. Because sometimes, all you have to do is BO-Lieve!
ReplyDeleteI'm in that generation; I love the indys, but most in my age see everything not WWE as a poor man's knockoff. I once got in an argument with a guy who suggested ECW was always a WWE brand (when he saw old 90's footage he just assumed)
ReplyDeleteReview RAW from last week, swapping the Bo Dallas/Rusev jobbers around. It'll be the same show anyhow.
ReplyDeleteDon;'t worry, I will fill-in
ReplyDeleteTHE RAW RUNDOWN IS BACK, JACK!
YOU'LL DO IT LIVE! YOU'LL WRITE IT UP AND DO IT LIVE!
ReplyDeleteFinishing up BoD RAW first.
ReplyDeleteThen......................THE RAW RUNDOWN IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
(unless someone else wants to recap it, which I am totally fine with)
I'd do it but I'm not home yet.
ReplyDeleteTELL IT LIKE IT IS RIC
ReplyDeleteRant like you are watching Raw in 1954
ReplyDeleteAny truth to the rumor that Cox is in merger talks with the car rental company Hertz?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he'll end up co-starring with Chyna at some point and prove my theory that God has abandoned us.
ReplyDeleteAre we finally getting the American Males gay porn?
ReplyDeleteRecap BoD Raw
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she'll call in sick for him?
ReplyDeleteWhat's Hinky Tinky Man doing in the Impact Zone, Taz? Taz? Where'd you go?!
ReplyDeleteStart working at home with Google! It's by-far the<- best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail;;';

I'd like to take this opportunity to say i've always enjoyed Andy's recap style. I haven't had cable in almost a year sobi pretty much only keep up through Andy's recaps and i think he does a jam up job. i never have trouble following the action and i don't miss out on any story stuff due to flat recapping; Andy is grwat at matching the flow and feel of the stories.
ReplyDeleteI'd say something about how you can just skip the review and give it an 8/10 unseen, but I'm not sure if that's still your gimmick or not.
ReplyDeleteuh huh huh huh....you said doodies. Uh huh huh huh, uh huh huh, uh huh huh huh...
ReplyDeleteOne guy's first comment ever is to crap on this guy, and then another guy's first comment ever is to stick up for him.
ReplyDeleteNah its me, Ryan Murphy. The email i used for Disqus was all fucked up so i just made a new one. For some reason its not letting me add a pic though.
ReplyDeleteI just did the Red Hot Core for the first time and it's the real deal. Although I feel like I should do a different workout along with it since it's just the 12 minutes...I'll see how I feel in the morning before making that decision though.
ReplyDeleteThat one there, wearing the hat, was that Cena's or Bryan's? I've never cared enough to learn this.
ReplyDeleteReply in the right post dummy!
ReplyDeleteBoth casinos will be closing. While I live in NY, have not been to AC in 20 years, been to Las Vegas a few times in that same time period.
ReplyDeleteBIGGER BOOBS go to CENA.
ReplyDeleteTATTOOS go to BRYAN.
Get your ass some Hulu Plus.
ReplyDeleteHAHA cult's comment got spammed.
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't have the clout Murphy has, as this is my first time commenting, but I've been a lurker for quite some time and appreciate Andy's recap style. I don't regularly watch Raw but feel completely caught up after reading his recap. I understand why Scott is concise in his recaps, but I'm not one to go to several other sites to find anything approaching in-depth recaps, regardless of the opinions shared in those recaps.
ReplyDeleteAs did I.
ReplyDeleteWho's Col. Debeers?
ReplyDeleteThat's only because Jerry Jarrett was around to rein him in.
ReplyDeleteAlso didn't they threaten Jim Cornette once and then they backed down after Cornette proceeded to bury them on his podcast?
ReplyDeleteIf a tirade is enough to send them running for the hills in defeat, Scott would win in a landslide.
That channel was only good when they aired rare hard to find shows like The Equalizer and the 2003 reboots of Hunter and Dragnet.
ReplyDeleteSince 2007 though, it's been a dumping ground for the same five cop shows you can see ad nauseum on the USA Network anyway.
Spike bears _some_ responsibility for TNA's promotion issues, but only for Impact itself. The rest of the crap (PPVs, house shows, and even a large chunk of impact) definitely falls on TNA.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good change of pace. I alternate.
ReplyDeleteYeah, at 7AM on Sunday morning or 3AM on a weekday. Not during key primetime hours when TNA will want the show broadcast.
ReplyDeletePlus that would mean making deals with individual affiliates all over the country. ECW proved it could be done, but it's a headache and a half and hard to promote a show when it's airing at all different times on all different channels across the country. It's a headache, and certainly not an arrangment that would shoulder the costs involved.
I read somewhere that TNA had hired some firm to negotiate a new TV deal for them. Is that not the case?
ReplyDeleteSuper brawl?! Super Saturday, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED, WHAT IS IT CALLED??
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to be the guy that gets up early to exercise before work but, alas; I am not that guy.
