Not Really Feeling The Next NXT...

Pretty underwhelming lineup for the next NXT special event, I have to say.  Especially the tag title match that will inevitably pay off the Ascension story and send them to the main roster.  Plus I was thinking the Women's title was going in a different direction, too.  Eh, you win some and lose some, I guess.

  1. Anyone else surprised it only took them THREE specials before they ran out of ideas and had to slate a Four-corners match for the title as the main event?

  2. Just read the NXT report on the Observer site. Glad I skipped the show to watch a 20 year old Star Trek movie instead.

Seriousy, a four corners match for the title? Why is Tyler Breeze the #1 contender then?

  3. Seems like a snoozefest

  4. It is stupid, but I'd assume they want to call Neville up and get the title off him without jobbing him. Not that it matters once he's on raw, but you know how they think sometimes.

  5. Eh. I like Bayley and understand that Charlotte isn't losing for a while so hopefully that's just a good match. I wish the Vaudevillains would beat the Ascension as there hasn't been a Honky Tonk title run in ages. The lucha team seems forced.

Could we please just give the show back to the bookers? This feels too scripted.

  6. It looks doubly bad as the show was better when Dusty booked it on a cocktail napkin.

  7. This could all change if we see the debuts of Fergal and/or KENTA.

  8. I was really hoping they'd go with Enzo & Big Cass, personally. They're strong babyfaces and could still go heel again if need be. Kalisto is fine but Sin Cara is such a dead issue at this point.

  9. General question: whose responsibility is it to come up with all the gimmicks in NXT?

They're not letting the actual wrestlers, are they?
