The Good Shit~!

So TNA is near the end, the WWE Network cost more people their jobs this week than Russo did, yet somehow through all the despair there's been more great wrestling than almost any other week in history. I may be in the minority but I couldn't care less if TNA and/or the Network disappeared completely. There's too much great wrestling to be seen as it is, and not enough hours in the day. So move aside Menagerie, move aside Total Divas marathon, it's time for the good shit. The main event from the PPV earlier today (7/31/14), Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tomohiro Ishii~!

In all seriousness I will check out some of these. This group of puro guise has some interesting star quality, but I haven't seen them wrestle much.

  4. Dude, I so agree with you. I'm cancelling the WWE network because I don't watch it. I'm trying to catch up with the G1 Climax, but there's sooooo much and it's all so good. I can't wait to watch this match. Tanahashi always brings the awesome and Ishii is a beast.

  5. Did You Know: The John Cena Era has resulted in more firings than any other era in WWE history and that even includes the Diesel Era?

  7. It's almost too bad about TNA, being that they're finally Russo free. The Network, which I had 2 trials of, and also watch at times through nefarious streams is 90% sizzle, 10% steak.

I just want killer matches, and technology in 2014 makes that a click or two away. It's a great time to be a fan of the "sport".

  8. These matches are all the same. Strike exchanges, head drops, fighting spirit. I'M SO TOUGH. SURE YOU ARE BUT I'M TOUGHER bullshit.

  9. Man, I could see someone saying that it wasn't Shibata/Tanahashi or Styles/Okada... but that match was better than any U.S. main event I can think of this year. Not to dog stateside product, the guys here just aren't given the chance to shine in an atmosphere like this.

And Tanahashi is the modern day Hogan to these people.

  10. Styles vs Naito and Shibata vs Tanahashi from Day 4 were just fantastic. I'm not even a Japan/NJPW fanboy but have become a big fan of Shibata. He's just insane. 2002 Chris Benoit level good

  14. I don't want to sound like a total fanboy, but Tanahashi is easily one of my favorite wrestlers ever. Easily the best face I've ever seen.
