WCW Conspiracy Theory

We've all heard every theory for the collapse of WCW from the finger poke of doom to the AOL/Time Warner merger. But what if it was an inside job? By none other than Hanoi Jane herself?

Hear me out. Jane marries Billionaire Ted in 1991. The same year WCW became WCW, right? she divorces him in 2001, the same year WCW goes under. Coincidence?

THINK ABOUT IT

But who was she working for? Crockett, perhaps? Another jealous NWA honcho? JIM HERD?!?!? Let's not forget WCW also ran shows in N Korea. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!

How have we not seen this before? If I were a betting man, I'd even wager it was her own voice on those WWF skits in 96. That's probably when she recruited Razor and Diesel! Whoa, And that just came to me! IT GETS DEEPER AND DEEPER!!!!

THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!

I feel like I've already thought about too much as it is.  Don't you think I've been considering that very theory in my mind over and over since the company died?  Don't you think we ALL haven't thought about the Jane Fonda Theory at some point while wondering what went wrong?  But then that's when they turn on the chip in your brain and you get shocked for asking the wrong questions.  Not worth it.  Gotta finish.  They're coming right now.  #WAKEUPSHEEPLE #THANKSOBAMA

I'm positive Fonda filled her workout videos with all sorts of WCW subliminal propaganda.

We're through the looking glass here, people.

Speaking of WCW, Buff Bagwell talked about moving to WWF after they won the war:“There has to be at least two companies, or else we’re all screwed. You need other places to go. When I signed with WWE I went from making a million dollars a year to $220,000. Two weeks later I was fired anyway…”

Did WCW really pay this guy a seven figure salary? If so WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK

Wouldn't surprise me. Wasn't Stevie Ray making upwards of 800K a year. Yes, let THAT sink in for a bit.

They gave 400K to one of the No Limit Soldiers and he hadn't even wrestled before and paid millions of dollars for Dennis Rodman to show up a few times a year. They were never all that careful with how much money they spent in their hot streak.

  6. I don't know about the collapse, but the sale sure was an inside (screw) job. Where were you on that one, Bush administration?

  7. Seriously. There was never a time where the market value for buff bagwell should be close to a mil. That's insane

  8. I see Jesse Baker is alive and well, though this theory has a surprising lack of sodomy.

  9. I do wonder if Jane does DDP Yoga...

  10. Says it all when LACK of sodomy is the surprise.

  12. It's remarkably easy to spend other people's money.

  13. salaries were crazy at this point. Bagwell was an upper mid card guy and ran in the right circles. Heck ECW never made a profit and was paying guys liked Taz, Sandman, RVD, etc. 200k and even 300k a year in 98 and 99. WCW was bringing in Sandman and Whipreck at 4 and 500k. I can certainly see Bagwell pulling 7 figures knowing what those guys got.

  14. All WCW wrestlers had was there guarantee. No tshirt sales, no incentives, that's it. So a million isn't so crazy after that. And he was probably like 15th on the highest paid chart.

  15. Yeah, it is mighty coincidental that Stu Snyder bailed to the WWF when he knew WCW was up for sale, orchestrated a deal where the WWF would buy WCW and then went right back to his old job at Turner Broadcasting after the sale was completed.

And nevermind that literally every other bidder for WCW was willing to put up more money to buy the company yet AOL Time Warner went with the LOWEST bid, I mean whenever a corporation puts a struggling division up for sale, don't they always sell it to the HIGHEST bidder, not the LOWEST?

That whole sale was an inside job if there ever was one.

  16. And what's funnier about that story is that Buff constantly complained on radio shows and the Internet throughout WCW's final year in existence, feeling that he was underpaid!

  17. Bagwell was a hot star after the Luger feud, they really dropped the ball not turning him face when he came back from the neck injury.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yep. Fuckin criminals. And then I've heard that they basically got WCW for free once the outstanding ppv royalties came in. Makes me wish Jericho had actually scrapped up the cash to buy it.

  19. Yeah Bagwell was always a big deal.for me growing up as a young mark. Great look, he had charisma as a cocky assholeand I thought he had a cool finish a million sounds right hell ziggler gets around a million 700k I think and anybody that thinks ziggler is any more over than Bagwell is delusional.

  20. There were no othrt bidders, once the show was cancelled. They didn't want to guarantee rights fees to bischoffs group for 10 years. I'm not saying Stu Snyder isn't shady as hell, but he wasn't the only reason vincr ended up with wcw.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Actually, Jerry Jarrett and Randy Savage were still bidding. Bischoff's group was the only bidder that pulled out and Jarrett and Savage were both mad that AOL Time Warner took Vince's lower than lowball offer even though both their investment groups were willing to pay far more money to buy WCW so yeah Stu Snyder was pretty much the only reason Vince ended up with WCW.

  22. Speaking of Hanoi Jane, I'm binge-watching Grace & Frankie and can't stop staring at her. 77 years old, and looks unspeakably fit. Damn.
