BoD Friday Night Thread

Friday night means a ton of baseball going on highlighted by Yankees-Astros and Cubs-Cardinals.

I don't  know if there is a PPV watch going on....but you can ask.

Anything else going?

Comments

  1. You can ask, but unless you know the secret BoD password, you won't find out.

    ReplyDelete
  2. No PPV tonight? We'd be on Unforgiven 2000 iirc

    ReplyDelete
  3. That's a show that I think I've probably seen the least.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  8. Has fg76 dude shown up to wig out?

    ReplyDelete
  9. He had the ability to make it sink in the past

    ReplyDelete
  10. Where's Bill Lee when we need him?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yep. Adam told him to go fuck himself.

His flyball rate is higher than his groundball rate. The opposite of his career numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Cesaro lifting Big Show over the top rope is still such an awesome moment.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I love the corner brownie piece

    ReplyDelete
  17. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:01 PM

    God damned right!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Watched the season premier of True Detective. Didn't do much for me to be honest but I'm willing to let it play out and see where it goes.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The way China is playing, I'm not even scare of a counter.

    ReplyDelete
  20. ChiComs, get 'em!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stress is killing me. Thanks sis.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was tempted to put a bet on the usa/china game but it was +850 for the US to win before penalty kicks

    ReplyDelete
  23. No one is watching the NHL Draft?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:02 PM

    I am.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ...I don't understand how Collin Farrell beating the shit out of a dad infront of his kid and then..saying what he said. doesn't do much for someone

    ReplyDelete
  26. Nah, not with the US Women on.

    ReplyDelete
  27. that sounds dreadfully boring.

I SELECT FOR MY TEAM AYE... JERICH OLGAVERICHOVICH!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. China sucks something fierce. It's surprising there's not been a breakthrough yet.

    ReplyDelete
  29. If the Oilers get Shattenkirk, they're a good goalie away from doing real damage.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:03 PM

    More exciting than soccer.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The Sabres dropping the mic is awesome

    ReplyDelete
  32. Gabon: Both men and women can join in polygamous unions with the other gender under Gabonese law.

A poor African nation is more progressive than America!

    ReplyDelete
  33. As with every other team I like, we're stuck in perpetual suck mode, so there's no real point.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Turned it off midway through the premiere. Too many characters and just didn't care

    ReplyDelete
  35. The who in the what?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think women's soccer might the the one thing more boring than the NHL Draft

    ReplyDelete
  37. Cool scene and I'm digging Farrell's character, it just didn't grab me like the first season did. I know it's not fair to compare it but I can't help it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Watched the Under the Dome 2 hour premiere earlier. It's so bad it's awesome

    ReplyDelete
  39. Aren't the Panthers coming off of a playoff win?

    ReplyDelete
  40. The password is password.

    ReplyDelete
  41. There's a lot more boring than the Women's World Cup.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And that was not good defense by the US. Lucky that the cross found nobody.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah, they did seem to throw too much at the audience all at once.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:04 PM

Men's soccer is even worse, at least with the women you get Alex Morgan.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Watched the first two picks, stopped caring after that.

    As Adam says, because, Buffalo.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yeah, against a 4th string quarterback following a 7-8-1 division title.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:05 PM

    I thought it was 123456

    ReplyDelete
  48. What season 1 got right was that it was just 2 leads not 4.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I keep forgetting that there's television during the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I have it on mute in case a big trade happens

    ReplyDelete
  51. It's something. Better than most teams did

    ReplyDelete
  52. I just feel there is a bit to much expectation after the first season when part of what happened with he first season is no one knew what to expect...that and the none of these people are mcconaughey

    ReplyDelete
  53. Suits was awesome in its premiere. I always enjoy major crimes.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:06 PM

So the Bruins are in tank mode, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Love that scene in Spaceballs

    ReplyDelete
  56. Nope watching the Indians game.

    ReplyDelete
  57. It's a show I'm dreading watching. I don't know how many more times I can watch HHH-Angle without losing my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  58. And the Magical Free Kick Line Spray makes its return!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah, I started Suits, only did half the episode before heading out.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It's in more we have no cap room mode. They have three picks in a loaded draft.

    ReplyDelete
  61. So I've decided to chane up my avatar to famous Davids. I'll change it up once a week.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Spector did an emmy-worthy performance.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Suits is worth watching. It's not great but enjoyable enough for an hour a week

    ReplyDelete
  64. I recently discovered one of the odder youtube rabbit holes I've found: Southern kids dipping.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKQYB3fWd4Q

    ReplyDelete
  65. So, watching the remastered South Park, gawd, forgot how funny the early stuff was.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Louis Litt is a great character who should have been up for 2-3 emmys by now.

    ReplyDelete
  67. On behalf of everyone - no.

    ReplyDelete
  68. If the Pens get the Leafs to eat the Kunitz and Scuderi contracts, I'd be ok with trading Pouliot for Kessel....I think.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Holy crap, Taylor Swifts abs

    ReplyDelete
  70. That might have been the laziest throw-in I've ever seen by China.

    ReplyDelete
  71. China looks terrible. How we haven't seen a U.S. goal is beyond me.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yeah, I gotta finish the episode tonight. I totally forgot about Mike proposing.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Have they actually remastered old episodes? Because I've been rewatching a bunch from the middle years and they make a joke about doing that in the episode where they're trying to stop Spielberg & Lucas remaking their films.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I don't know to laugh or cry. I like that the next video up is how to hide dipping from your parents....Step 1: make a youtube video about how to hide dipping from your parents

    ReplyDelete
  75. There should have been one. Maybe two.

    ReplyDelete
  76. They tend to recycle stories (hoe many times has the fate of the firm been in jeopardy?). And everyone is willing to risk jail time to protect mike for some reason but those logic leaps aside its really enjoyable

    ReplyDelete
  77. I don't know to laugh or cry. I like that the next video up is how to hide dipping from your parents....Step 1: make a youtube video about how to hide dipping from your parents.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Will hockey fans irrationally hate McDavid like they hate Crosby?

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'm sure it's smooth and inoffensive.

    ReplyDelete
  80. This reeks of the game where one side dominates the possession game, but gets lazy late and concedes a goal, then can't put the equalizer in.

    ReplyDelete
  81. He's been drafted where #1 picks go to die, he has hockey fans' eternal sympathy.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Our goal scoring has been shit all tournament long.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Three. The really early goof by Rodriguez, the ball saved off the line by a China defender with the goalie on the ground, and one of the headers that just stayed high with the goalie beat.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Good evening folks!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Apparently they saved everything and are rerendering seasons 1-12 for HD. A lot of the beeps are gone too, only the Cartman gets an Anal Probe is original.

    ReplyDelete
  86. The shots are there, the finishes just haven't come through yet.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I hope Kenny Lofton gets on so Baerga can move him over and Belle can drive him in.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Rodriguez just fucked up again, funnily enough.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Want me to have a talk with her?

    ReplyDelete
  90. There's ones about buying dip underage and hiding it when you're at school too.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Is anybody watching anything yet?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Nothing beats a kid whose voice hasn't dropped having swagger

    ReplyDelete
  93. Agreed. If the show ended with Mike leaving that one time, I would have been ok with that.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Stranger In The AlpsJune 26, 2015 at 6:15 PM

So what do we have on Bash 90 that's good to great?

    Southern Boys vs. Midnight Express
Rock n Roll Express vs. Doom
    Vader's debut
    Sting vs. Ric Flair

Am I missing anything? Seems like a stacked show.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Francisco Liriano's inability to find the strike zone.

    ReplyDelete
  96. WWC. And then I could be convinced to put on a death spiral WCW PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anybody down for Unforgiven 2000 at say 8:30?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Forgot it was back, need to dl it. It's a throwback to a much older tv model. (read: hokey, mostly lousy, but somehow watchable)

    ReplyDelete
  99. Damn thy booked a huge mega main event for RAW on Monday.

"WWE has announced that the main event of Monday's RAW from Washington, DC will be Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins."

    ReplyDelete
  100. Holy crap, how did they not score there lol

    ReplyDelete
  101. Stranger In The AlpsJune 26, 2015 at 6:16 PM

    Is Carlos Colon blading again?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Boo. BOO.

    ReplyDelete
  103. That youngster is getting a lot of red, yes.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Probably. He can be a little bitch at times and has a punchable face.

    ReplyDelete
  105. they are just not giving up on Kane

    ReplyDelete
  106. Stranger In The AlpsJune 26, 2015 at 6:17 PM

Let me guess: Abdullah jabbed him with a fork.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I'm almost tempted to go and troll around.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Luger-Taker was on that show, wasn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Maybe someone here knows. So yesterday I turned this kitchen cieling light off that normally is always on. Went to turn it back on and nothing... Changed the bulb turned it on. nothing. No brakers are tripped. The switch (like most in the house) is old. is it likely the switch or do ceiling fixtures just stop working?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Reigns abandons the match when Bray appears on the screen, Kane abandons the match because he takes exception to something Rollins says, Ambrose abandons the match because someone shines a laser pen on the floor and he just can't help but chase it, Rollins manages to get pinned anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Stranger In The AlpsJune 26, 2015 at 6:18 PM

Yes! Mean Mark. Seeing him go from tough redneck Mean Mark to The Undertaker a few months later is something else

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'm down. May run around the block a few times during HHH-Kurt, so I don't have relive the stupidity.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:18 PM

    They're not even trying anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Fuck, did Vince die? I've never seen a glass ceiling shattered like that before

    ReplyDelete
  115. WWE is just like the Universe mode in the video games.

    ReplyDelete
  116. In HHH's defense he'd only been in the main even for about a year. I understand THAT paranoia. 2002-03 is indefensible though lol.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:19 PM

Why would you do that to yourself?

    ReplyDelete
  118. Probably a fuse. Same situation happened to me once... at least that's what the electrician told me.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I vowed never again after that Sin 2001 live watch. My god.

  121. I'm shocked Big Brother is still on the air. It has been on for what 15 years now?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Keep Bret somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Michael Dorn is trying to get a Worf-centric spinoff show developed.
    http://screenrant.com/captain-worf-star-trek-tv-show-michael-dorn-interview/

    ReplyDelete
  124. Suvivor is still around too. I only watched the first two seasons, but I liked them.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I wonder if he shares Tim Duncan's financial advisor.

    ReplyDelete
  126. That might have been cool fifteen years ago. Now, enh.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Could be a good match if it was just a match... Shield's first match involved Kane.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Don't give them the credit, that would be an improvement.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I hope it's the story of his return to Earth and the trials of raising a teenaged boy.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:23 PM

    And Ryback.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Maybe he can get Geordi to come and live in his alcove and help with the parenting.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Everybody Loves The Ryback!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Russell Wilson looking to get the richest contract in the NFL? WTF? What world is he living in?

    ReplyDelete
  134. I envision it more as a road trip across America.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Sadly, he'll probably get it.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:24 PM

I can think of one person that doesn't love him, but I don't think he likes anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  137. though as my friend said...what football player isn't looking to be the highest paid guy

    ReplyDelete
  138. Two super bowl appearances with a less than stellar corps of WRs? He'll probably get it.

    ReplyDelete
  139. It's sickening. There's a lot of other players who should be paid more than him.

    ReplyDelete
  140. You're wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:25 PM

To think Jacksonville took a fucking punter 2 or 3 picks before Wilson...

    ReplyDelete
  142. Maybe Ari Gold reps him.

    ReplyDelete
  143. His defense and RB carried his ass.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I hope Seattle caves and fucks their cap situation up something fierce.

    ReplyDelete
  145. The world in which he was a play away from winning two super bowls?

    ReplyDelete
  146. Dream Matches we'll never get:

    Triple H vs The Ryback

    ReplyDelete
  147. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:25 PM

    Yeah, to hell.

    ReplyDelete
  148. He always struck me as a big mark for himself.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Friggin' Matt Ryan was highest for a little bit, way it goes now.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 26, 2015 at 6:26 PM

First time the Hawks have been relevant and stayed there. He will get it

    ReplyDelete
  151. Randomly started watching Star Wars trailers. Man, those prequel trailer were so deceiving.

    ReplyDelete
  152. That would be the one benefit.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Mitch, The GodfatherJune 26, 2015 at 6:26 PM

Quarterbacks are the most important which means they will get the most money.

    ReplyDelete
  154. He was right to cock block Kurt, losing the girl never works well in wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  155. LOLing hard reading the shitty Impact tapings. What the fuck happened to this company? LLOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  156. Taylor Hall - 263 pts in 299 games
Ryan Nugent Hopkins - 188 pts in 258 games
Nail Yakupov - 88 pts in 192 games

The team has been terrible but it hasn't been their fault.

    ReplyDelete
  157. It looks like such a mess, but I have to see it.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:26 PM

At one point Sam Bradford was the highest paid (in a single season) ever.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Dog food shortage. Caused an exodus of talent.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Mitch, The GodfatherJune 26, 2015 at 6:27 PM

Yeah. Forget all the plays he has made with his arms and legs. It was all the defense and RB.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Never say never.

Who would have thought we'd get a match like Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Anytime you can make put the Harris Twins in charge of production, you gotta do it.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I'm not saying he is the best but back to back Super Bowl apperneces in what 4 years? you can understand it

    ReplyDelete
  164. I saw a commercial for them while I was at the gym (for 3 hours #HumbleBrag) tonight for the PPV... they want $50 for it!

    ReplyDelete
  165. I'm almost angry they are gonna book EC3 like Magnus when he was Dixie's chosen one. But in the end who cares

    ReplyDelete
  166. Adam "Colorado" CurryJune 26, 2015 at 6:28 PM

    Dixie Carter, that's what happened.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Fat, Ugly Inner-City SweathogJune 26, 2015 at 6:28 PM

He wasnt gonna get demoted though. If anything, he could have ridden that feud to megaface status

    ReplyDelete
  168. I don't want to be pessimistic but I feel like we've had that match before?

    ReplyDelete
  169. Back to back Super Bowls help.

    ReplyDelete
  170. WTF is the point of the pre-recorded voice that starts talking when you pull up to a drive thru? Is it to make you think it is a person that is prepared to take you order only for the actual person to interrupt you and ask you to wait? If so they are incredibly successful. If not they are just obnoxious.

    ReplyDelete
  171. True, sad, but true.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Starting Unforgiven 2000!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  175. You know you aren't under contract or anything right? Like it is ok if you don't watch.

    ReplyDelete
  176. So does an amazing defense and Beast Mode (who I also can't stand).
