Wrestlers getting into real fights?

Did you ever hear that supposedly back in the day that if a pro wrestler got into a fight with an "ordinary person" and lost, they were fired as to keep with kayfabe of them all being the toughest guys to walk the globe?   Only if they're working for Bill Watts.
