The most ironic part on the last MNW episode was one of the guys (May have been JBL, I can't remember) mentioning WWE was a wrestling company that does TV while WCW was just a TV company that does wrestling...the latter is exactly what Vince thinks the WWE was.
Matter of fact, almost everything JBL said on it regarding the competition was the complete opposite of what Vince likes to think.
More Zelda: Skyward Sword tonight. I need to finish it before Majora's Mask 3D comes out as well as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D... which apparently I need the new 3DS for.
Come to think of it, why doesn't Vince just hand the wrestling reigns to Triple H entirely? That way, he could actually focus on pushing the WWE brand name with other things like movies and such, like he seems to want to do.
I don't know if it's Valentine's Day being right around the corner or what, but I've really been feeling the love from you bros. It's really something. Things have been very mellow. Very chill. Real nice batch of psychos we've got going. Meltdowns are a thing of the past in our new wrestling utopia.
I fucking hate people. I'm sick and fucking tired of trusting everyone. I was talking to a guy on GameFaqs that is pretty reputable and known around there about trading my Wii U for his PS4. I shipped out the Wii U two days ago with Priority shipping and I checked and it was delivered today. He claimed he overnighted the PS4 yesterday because he couldn't ship the day before so that I would have it today. Well today passes and I didn't get it. He sent me a message yesterday, well his "roommate" did saying that he was asked to tell me that he shipped the package and he would provide me with tracking information. I've sent him two messages today and no response. I fucking hate my life. I really do. I'm tired of being fucked over. Sick and fucking tired of it.
Need advice: I have a hot new roommate that just moved in this month. She's a former lesbian with a boyfriend she's been dating for about two months. She texts me a couple times each day with funny memes and jokes. We can talk for hours when she's here. She told me that she would love to make a porn video someday and that she's "sexpositive". I really want to fuck the shit out of her, but I don't want to mess up the living situation. I'd rather she make the first move, so I don't come off as creepy.
I kinda wish Majora's Mask had gotten the HD treatment instead of Windwaker. Windwaker was already released for a decent console graphically, it didn't need the update.
Because those other things will undoubtedly fail just like everything else he's tried that's not wrestling, he knows this too much to actually try but likes to live in denial.
According to Scott some dude named Mike Moore. Let's put it this way...He fought Lex..and there was a Curtis Hughs run in ...and Madman was by far the worst worker.
I mean, give it a month or a particularly bad fight with her boyfriend and then take her out to dinner. She'll drop her drawers faster than a cheerleader on prom night.
Best you can do is ruin his reputation on the forum by telling your story to everyone. It won't get your Wii U back, but it'll ensure he doesn't screw anyone else over.
God.. I hope so. I jut don't want to end up in the "friendzone". I've been pretty much all business so far, but I need to make sure she knows I want to screw her brains out if she let me.
Well shoot a little higher for starters. You only want to 4 star the 4 star out of her? Won't even consider 5 stars?
I would give it time and see if she makes a move...she sounds like the type who will if they want something to go down. Obviously toss signs out there if the conversation gives you ins to be flirty and what not.
Trying to get back into DDP Yoga lately, but depression and being tired from work has left it tough. Worse, because I haven't been working out or eating well in the last month or two (again, due to depression and other things, like Christmas), I have to start from scratch again. Can't even hold a full lunge (aka: the "Superstar" as he calls it in this) near the end of Energy (the introductory workout).
Just wish I could keep at it on a regular, consistent basis without stopping and maybe - just maybe - lose some weight.
Watching the Savage doc, it's pretty good. The only things I don't like about it so far was them completely skipping over the Warrior and Snake feuds.
Lanny said the reason Savage left WWE is because he pitched this big elaborate storyline with Shawn Michaels that would have led to a WrestleMania match. Savage would have put Shawn over and retired but Vince shot it down and that's what led to Randy leaving. Really wished we could have seen that.
Are you bigger than the boyfriend? You could challenge him to a fight. If he wins you will leave her alone. If you win you get a night with her. I watched NWA/WCW that kind of thing is contractually binding.
Just started reading "Future's End" trade paperback. So far, it feels like a DC ripoff of "Age of Ultron", only substituting Brother Eye for Ultron, and Batman Beyond for Wolverine.
Don't look at it like you are starting from scratch. Look at it like you are picking up where you left off. It's a lifelong journey not a sprint so don't beat yourself up.
Good god...How much shit can a show have. Curtis hughes, Brad Armstrong as "The Candy Man, Prime Time Brian Lee, The Star Blazer, a African Regional Finals of a tag tournament...involving a skinny Rocco Rock and one of the Doinks, The Motor City Madman, The Renegade Warriors, The Nightstalker...more Curtis Hughes
This is a good thing. Find yourself someone else to toy with and she'll probably get a little jealous of you banging some other broad. That was like 95% of the Allison-Billy storyline on Melrose Place.
Muscle memory is a thing...You will likely advance along faster this time than before. A week or two and you could be back where you were before the holidays.
Another thing they skipped over, Savage's feud with Flair and his second title win. They literally go from MegaPowers explode-Savage/Liz wedding-Commentary-WCW.
I mean, WCW hit it's first creative lowpoint in July 1991, after that the September and November clashes got much better. The November 91 in particular is one of my favorite WCW shows of all time.
Cool I'm looking forward to some good because right now I just want to go back to 89 instead of keep moving forward...though that is kind of a lie because I can watch this old shit..good or bad all day.
They start interacting and then guess what. She's going to get funny with the rent. Different story every month. Just keep it business. When she or he is about to move out then go there.
I'd put Adrian Neville in a tag team with Adam Rose, call them the party bus. Neville could do all the work, take the Ricky Morton style beatdown while Rose stands in the corner and cheers him on. Then Rose could get the hot tag, he could do his 2-3 moves and then Neville tags in for the big finish. It'd be ***-**** everytime.
1991 clashes have Flair defending against Scotty Steiner, don't they? And a 2-out-of-3 falls defense against Bobby Eaton?
I think the Clashes in 1991 were probably better than most of the other content for WCW that year. And the November 1991 show is awesome with the US Title angle.
Yeah, the early ones have Flair v. Steiner and Flair v. Eaton, but neither is really great. The 2/3 falls stip hurts the Eaton match cause they only had like 14 minutes.
Hey you seem to know this era...any idea why the WWE Network version of Halloween Havoc 90 is the edited 2 hour version..It looked like the matches edited out were mostly a shit show but still it was curious to me.
The Wizards have been tolerable for the last 10 years or so. The Arenas era had an exciting offense, terrible defense, and a 8th place finish in the MVP race (!). They were never able to figure out good big men to go along with Arenas, Jamison, and Butler/Hughes. After Arenas' multiple knee injuries, they managed to rebuild pretty quickly when the NBA gave the Wizards a RIP present to Abe Pollin's widow after she sold the team to Ted Leonsis (because we all know the draft lottery is fixed, right?). I bashed John Wall pretty heavily at first because he didn't seem to understand how to play. But his stats have always been really good offensively. He also suffered from all the other number 1 picks looking amazing (Rose, Griffin, Wall, then Irving). GM Ernie Grunfield was able to correct his mistakes and sign good players around Wall with Nene and Okafor, and the Wiz somehow figured out how to play good defense. Unfortunate everybody's favorite white dunking machine Jan Vesely was a total bust, even if his GF was super hot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08rirsA8YaM). Luckily, the Wizards landed Bradley Beal. Otto Porter seems to be able to play, so he should be okay at worse.
Caps have mostly been good, if a major failure in the Playoffs. For a while people rather have Ovie win MVPs than win, but the gradual decline in results fixed that.
Some of the WCW PPVS, the original copy was missing and all they had was the home video version. Probably because someone at Turner REALLY needed to record the annual airing of Wizard of Oz.
Unfortunately, the first night I moved some boxes into the place, I found her with like 20 black guys in our place and nobody else. She was really apologetic. I'm not sure if I cock blocked her from a huge gangbang or not.
You said he was pretty reputable. How did you find out that he was reputable? Use that same method to cut him down.
Are there forums? Post about it. Does he have an eBay account? Give him shit reviews. You sent him your Wii U. You have an address, you have a name. There are SOOOOO many interesting ways to make him pay.
I remember years ago I tried to rig a vote on TheSmarks website. Scott had up a vote on which tape he should review between Best of Owen Hart or an RF Video Best of Benoit comp. I tried rigging it so Benoit would win but came up short. That's a helluva comp tape though.
Yeah, that was my thinking. This was in like early-00 so I think so the support was still strong for Owen after he passed away. There's a great Owen/Benoit match on the comp that's filmed handheld.
Yahoo screen is airing the next season of Community. Cause I guess Hulu didn't offer enough money? Or they wanted to make sure the audience for tSeason 6 was even smaller?
I wouldn't mind a shoot from someone that worked in the WCW offices. Be nice if it was Turner himself but that'll never happen, probably cause no one has thought to ask.
Been watching the Paul Heyman documentary on the network (about half-way through) and it's so well done. Such amazing and interesting stories, and you get to hear Heyman's sweet voice over and over again.
Well, he posts a lot on the GameFaqs forum, so I could post it there. I did some searching around the internet and I have his e-mail address, Twitter name, address, etc. I just don't want to stoop down to his level or start some dumb war because he has my address as well....
The Wizards have been total Jekyll and Hyde team the last decade. One year they'll win 45 games and make the playoffs and the next, it's a 23 win season and a top 5 pick. At least now, they have some stability.
And Lou Thesz wins the first fall with a backdrop out of a Sakaguchi headlock. Other moves in the near twenty minutes of the fall: A rather sloppy backbreaker, a decent body slam, a solid bear hug, a Thesz Press (kicked out of at ONE, early in the match), and a lot of headscissors/headlocks.
Thesz did a little heeling with a couple of not so clean breaks, but no real heel/face divide. Hell, Gotch got the best positive reaction from the crowd during the intros.
Man, it sucks when dinner is delayed because your wife has to run out to the store to pick up a few things.
ReplyDeleteThe most ironic part on the last MNW episode was one of the guys (May have been JBL, I can't remember) mentioning WWE was a wrestling company that does TV while WCW was just a TV company that does wrestling...the latter is exactly what Vince thinks the WWE was.

ReplyDeleteDoris Burke is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI could go for a steak.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, why doesn't Vince just hand the wrestling reigns to Triple H entirely? That way, he could actually focus on pushing the WWE brand name with other things like movies and such, like he seems to want to do.
ReplyDeleteDon't have a cow, man.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost ready now.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's Valentine's Day being right around the corner or what, but I've really been feeling the love from you bros. It's really something. Things have been very mellow. Very chill. Real nice batch of psychos we've got going. Meltdowns are a thing of the past in our new wrestling utopia.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Whitey Ford is available to pitch for the Yankees this season
ReplyDeleteWHAT'D YOU SAY ABOUT MY MOTHER?!!? *PUNCH!*
ReplyDeleteI fucking hate people.
ReplyDeleteMeltdowns are so 2014.
ReplyDeleteI thought you said Delta Burke.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty pumped for Bálor/Kidd and Zayne/Neville II: Electric Boogaloo tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that happened.
ReplyDeleteWe're all sticking to our resolutions to not be terrible humans.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same!
ReplyDeleteSorry man.
ReplyDeleteStill hasn't recovered from Pretzel Night.
ReplyDeleteNeed advice: I have a hot new roommate that just moved in this month. She's a former lesbian with a boyfriend she's been dating for about two months. ReplyDeleteWhat do you guys think I should do?
We can call them whitey whackers!
ReplyDeleteI kinda wish Majora's Mask had gotten the HD treatment instead of Windwaker. Windwaker was already released for a decent console graphically, it didn't need the update.
ReplyDeleteGive her my number and not let this trouble you anymore.
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!
ReplyDeleteSorry that happened
ReplyDeleteSunny is at 10 est yes?
ReplyDeleteBecause those other things will undoubtedly fail just like everything else he's tried that's not wrestling, he knows this too much to actually try but likes to live in denial.
ReplyDeleteWatching Clash 13..beccause that is where I'm at in my WCW watching. ..so Motor City Madman..that happened...
ReplyDeleteThat sucks man. Scumbags are the worst.
ReplyDeleteWho was that?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like she'll probably end up fucking you soon enough with her sex-obsessed ways.
ReplyDeleteDamn, some of these South Park episodes feel like I saw them an eternity ago when they were from just two seasons ago.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Scott some dude named Mike Moore. Let's put it this way...He fought Lex..and there was a Curtis Hughs run in ...and Madman was by far the worst worker.
ReplyDeleteI mean, give it a month or a particularly bad fight with her boyfriend and then take her out to dinner. She'll drop her drawers faster than a cheerleader on prom night.
ReplyDeleteBest you can do is ruin his reputation on the forum by telling your story to everyone. It won't get your Wii U back, but it'll ensure he doesn't screw anyone else over.
ReplyDeleteStarting the February PPVs a little early. I remember the Owen-Shawn match being bad ass.
ReplyDeleteNXT stream switched to a top ten countdown...nice going, jackasses.
ReplyDeleteBalor and Kidd are having a dandy of a match. Wrestling lives!
ReplyDeleteGod.. I hope so. I jut don't want to end up in the "friendzone". I've been pretty much all business so far, but I need to make sure she knows I want to screw her brains out if she let me.
ReplyDeleteWhat's sad was in the deepest part of my mind, I thought something like this might happen to you. I hate that I was right.
ReplyDeleteBurn the ever-living fuck out of him online. And do it every day until you get a PS4 out of him or he sends you back your Wii U, or both.
ReplyDeleteThis Going Native episode where Butters goes back to Hawaii feels like it aired 10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteIf you just want to fuck her and that's all, that could make things awkward in the long-term if you stay roommates.
ReplyDeleteYeeeesh. This would be like 90 or 91?
ReplyDeleteWell shoot a little higher for starters. You only want to 4 star the 4 star out of her? Won't even consider 5 stars?
ReplyDeleteI would give it time and see if she makes a move...she sounds like the type who will if they want something to go down. Obviously toss signs out there if the conversation gives you ins to be flirty and what not.
Speaking of which...my review of that show still isn't up >:^(
ReplyDeleteBig games on tonight for DC fans.
ReplyDeleteWizards at Bulls. Wizards played yesterday at home and beat the Spurs. Bulls will be looking to avenge a blow loss at DC last Friday.
Flyers at Caps. It's a game. Caps are playing really well. I don't know too much about hockey.
90
ReplyDeleteYou are right.. but my dick is thinking in the short term right now.. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou have this guy's address, right?
ReplyDeleteI don't get why Scott described the cage match as a typick Bret/Diesel match and gave it one star when a typical Bret/Diesel match was 3-4.
ReplyDeleteHI DEVIN
ReplyDeleteBull Dempsey looks, sounds and talks like a jobber. How did this fat fuck get here?
ReplyDeleteTrying to get back into DDP Yoga lately, but depression and being tired from work has left it tough. ReplyDeleteJust wish I could keep at it on a regular, consistent basis without stopping and maybe - just maybe - lose some weight.
If you keep cool, you'll probably have a FWB situation on your hands. Nothing awkward about that.
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy that DC has good sports teams to look forward to finally.
ReplyDeleteYou also said she has a boyfriend right now, too. Which means find yourself someone else to fuck.
ReplyDeleteFuck you and your logic and morals..
ReplyDeleteI think that is the wisest route. Try not to be too obvious, but let her know that she could get it.
ReplyDelete*shrug* Someone has to be the voice of reason around here. =p
ReplyDeleteHeart? An enlarged heart?
ReplyDeleteWhat's Scott waiting for!
ReplyDeleteWatching the Savage doc, it's pretty good. The only things I don't like about it so far was them completely skipping over the Warrior and Snake feuds.
ReplyDeleteLanny said the reason Savage left WWE is because he pitched this big elaborate storyline with Shawn Michaels that would have led to a WrestleMania match. Are you bigger than the boyfriend? You could challenge him to a fight. If he wins you will leave her alone. If you win you get a night with her. I watched NWA/WCW that kind of thing is contractually binding.
ReplyDeleteHey Vince - this is how you do Roman Reigns. Build tough guys for him to fight and have him win decisively.
ReplyDeleteVince is a dumbass. I'm convinced more than ever that his success was due to the work of everyone else around him.
ReplyDeleteIn 93? Could have been something.
ReplyDeleteWhat's ironic - and sad - is that Vince is big into those kind of stories NOW. Flair, Michaels, Triple H, maybe Undertaker.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I could win her for a month like Baby Doll.
ReplyDeleteDid he go into details about the storyline?
ReplyDeleteJust started reading "Future's End" trade paperback. So far, it feels like a DC ripoff of "Age of Ultron", only substituting Brother Eye for Ultron, and Batman Beyond for Wolverine.
ReplyDeleteDon't look at it like you are starting from scratch. Look at it like you are picking up where you left off. It's a lifelong journey not a sprint so don't beat yourself up.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now that the sound advice has been dolled out from me, here's what you REALLY do:
ReplyDeleteJust go up to her, drop trou, and ask, "So, how about it?"
Scott laying down the law and some smack in the latest IC Title tournament bracket.
ReplyDeleteIf I was picking up where I left off, I'd be able to go right back to doing the Diamond Cutter workouts and the 10-second pushups. :(
ReplyDeleteAnyone watching NXT, and if thou are did it just switch over to the world championship documentary?
ReplyDeleteBecky Lynch can straighten my pleats and suck out my fillings anytime she wants .
ReplyDeleteThe episode of Community is on where Pierce pants'ed Shirley and Troy and Abed get into classic college hijinx.
ReplyDeleteGood god...How much shit can a show have.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching, and had trouble getting the stream to even load.
ReplyDeleteShmitty!
ReplyDeleteADUH!
ReplyDeleteThey didn't really specify what year. I'm guessing 93 or 94.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good thing. Find yourself someone else to toy with and she'll probably get a little jealous of you banging some other broad. That was like 95% of the Allison-Billy storyline on Melrose Place.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too bad. I can't do those either. I know it's cliché but you have to take this a day at a time. Looking back causes you to do nothing but beat up on yourself.
ReplyDeleteJust that it was a two year storyline.
ReplyDeleteOpen my robe like Ric Flair and say "Woooooooooooo"
ReplyDeleteMine is fine so far
ReplyDeleteADUH ADUUUUH!
ReplyDeleteMaximum Overdrive is waiting for the call
ReplyDeleteI find the name Becky to be attractive.
ReplyDeleteYeah man, 1991 deserves its own wing in the wrestlecrap hof
ReplyDeleteADUH ADUUUUUUH ADUUUUUUH!
ReplyDeleteI wish Community was on Netflix. Makes me miss Hulu Plus.
ReplyDeleteMuscle memory is a thing...You will likely advance along faster this time than before. A week or two and you could be back where you were before the holidays.
ReplyDeleteIt's a total college/party hard/DTF name.
ReplyDeleteADUH ADUUUUUUH ADUUUUUUH ADUUUUUUUH!
ReplyDeleteSHMITTY!
......sadly that match is just starting.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing they skipped over, Savage's feud with Flair and his second title win. They literally go from MegaPowers explode-Savage/Liz wedding-Commentary-WCW.
ReplyDeleteDon't bang roommates.
ReplyDeleteThat shit show is from 1990, actually. 91 they actually were kind of okay at putting togehter some watchable Clashes.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it with him and Corbin at all.
ReplyDeleteIM EXTANT MR CABLE ACCESS SHMITTY ADUH!
ReplyDeletehot girls are a dime a dozen. People that pay rent on time are not. Don't mess with this.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably sound advice, but a lot less fun.
ReplyDeleteThis NXT Diva match needs to end with everyone turning on and beating the fuck out of Nattie.
ReplyDeleteIts December 90 so I'll give him a pass.
ReplyDeleteADUH! I'M A 20-YEAR-OLD SEINFELD REFERENCE SHMITTY! ADUH-ADUUUH!
ReplyDeleteI mean, WCW hit it's first creative lowpoint in July 1991, after that the September and November clashes got much better. The November 91 in particular is one of my favorite WCW shows of all time.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure there are a ton of males looking for a roommate. He could of had his cake and ate it too.
ReplyDeleteI had to restart the stream. I wonder what happened there.
ReplyDelete+1 for the Melrose Place reference.
ReplyDeleteADUH! SHMITTY IS SOMETHING WORSE THAN SHMITTY! A LAUREL ADUUH!
ReplyDeleteCool I'm looking forward to some good because right now I just want to go back to 89 instead of keep moving forward...though that is kind of a lie because I can watch this old shit..good or bad all day.
ReplyDeleteThey start interacting and then guess what. She's going to get funny with the rent. Different story every month. Just keep it business. When she or he is about to move out then go there.

ReplyDeleteDa da dada
ReplyDeleteDa da da dada dadadadada!!!
This new Backstrom show looks like they're trying too hard to make another House.
ReplyDeleteWZUP, WZUP, WZUPPPPPPPPPPP
ReplyDeleteCan anyone else see Zyan winning the WWE World title at WrestleMania 34?
ReplyDeleteHe's just a pissed off Dwight.
ReplyDeleteWrestleMania 35 at the earliest.
ReplyDeleteThe creators of House and Breaking Bad have a new show on CBS, I think.
ReplyDelete2014: Year of the Meltdown
ReplyDelete2015: Year of Voter Fraud
Nah, he's still in his 30s.
ReplyDeleteYou think Vince is gonna kick the bucket that soon?
ReplyDelete1991 clashes have Flair defending against Scotty Steiner, don't they? And a 2-out-of-3 falls defense against Bobby Eaton?
ReplyDeleteI think the Clashes in 1991 were probably better than most of the other content for WCW that year. And the November 1991 show is awesome with the US Title angle.
Also Year of the Mountie
ReplyDelete*****
ReplyDeleteSorry, reflex.

ReplyDeleteNetflix in Mexico DOES have Community.
Yeah, the early ones have Flair v. Steiner and Flair v. Eaton, but neither is really great. The 2/3 falls stip hurts the Eaton match cause they only had like 14 minutes.
ReplyDeleteHow should I go about this?
ReplyDeleteIt's astounding how the creative bottomed so fast. HH 90 is one of my favorite shows ever and then Starrcade happened. How?
ReplyDeleteToo little, too late.
ReplyDeleteHey you seem to know this era...any idea why the WWE Network version of
ReplyDeleteHalloween Havoc 90 is the edited 2 hour version..It looked like the
matches edited out were mostly a shit show but still it was curious to
me.
I gotta move to Mexico. It's the only option. Or buy the DVD's I guess. Or get Hulu Plus. I have lots of options.
ReplyDeleteI figured I'd get scammed. Nothing good ever happens to me. Ever. It's like Murphy's Law.
ReplyDeleteI'll try.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, there are worse shows they could copy.
ReplyDeleteThe Wizards have been tolerable for the last 10 years or so. The Arenas era had an exciting offense, terrible defense, and a 8th place finish in the MVP race (!). ReplyDeleteThe absolute worst.
ReplyDeleteThanks man. Just goes to show that there are still shitty people out there.
ReplyDeleteThanks ;(
ReplyDeleteThanks....me too...
ReplyDeleteThey would no longer be roommates. They would be living together. Completely different ballgame
ReplyDeleteSome of the WCW PPVS, the original copy was missing and all they had was the home video version. Probably because someone at Turner REALLY needed to record the annual airing of Wizard of Oz.
ReplyDeleteLosers are rigging the silly voting stuff. Sigh, wrestling fans.
ReplyDeleteOkay well I win because Lassiter is freaking awesome. Thanks for the compliment SHMITTY ADUH
ReplyDeleteI used to have a hot roommate.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the first night I moved some boxes into the place, I found her with like 20 black guys in our place and nobody else. She was really apologetic. I'm not sure if I cock blocked her from a huge gangbang or not.

ReplyDeleteI really wish Tony would have been forced to stay in the Phantom of the Opera outfit forever.
ReplyDeleteI knew that was going to happen. Should've gone with Leonard.
ReplyDeleteBecause WCW is always the answer.
ReplyDeleteShut up Leonard. I know about your prescription socks!
ReplyDeleteOver time, DVDs are probably the cheapest option...
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was my thinking. This was in like early-00 so I think so the support was still strong for Owen after he passed away. There's a great Owen/Benoit match on the comp that's filmed handheld.
ReplyDeleteYahoo screen is airing the next season of Community. Cause I guess Hulu didn't offer enough money? Or they wanted to make sure the audience for tSeason 6 was even smaller?
ReplyDeleteWE DESTROY SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF BY RATING THE MATCH AS AWESOME WHILE WATCHING INSTEAD OF JUST ENJOYING IT clap clap clapclapclap
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a shoot from someone that worked in the WCW offices. Be nice if it was Turner himself but that'll never happen, probably cause no one has thought to ask.
ReplyDeleteBeen watching the Paul Heyman documentary on the network (about half-way through) and it's so well done. Such amazing and interesting stories, and you get to hear Heyman's sweet voice over and over again.
ReplyDeleteWell, he posts a lot on the GameFaqs forum, so I could post it there. I did some searching around the internet and I have his e-mail address, Twitter name, address, etc. I just don't want to stoop down to his level or start some dumb war because he has my address as well....
ReplyDeleteShut up, Leonard! Those teenage girls you play ping pong with are doing it ironically.
ReplyDeleteI'm... actually okay with that. I don't need to see Terry Taylor beating Scott Irwin.
ReplyDeleteWatchign Austin/Hart at WM 13. God I loved when wrestlers hated each other and tried to kick each other's ass without stupid gimmicks.
ReplyDeleteThe Wizards have been total Jekyll and Hyde team the last decade. One year they'll win 45 games and make the playoffs and the next, it's a 23 win season and a top 5 pick. At least now, they have some stability.
ReplyDeleteAnd Lou Thesz wins the first fall with a backdrop out of a Sakaguchi headlock. Other moves in the near twenty minutes of the fall: A rather sloppy backbreaker, a decent body slam, a solid bear hug, a Thesz Press (kicked out of at ONE, early in the match), and a lot of headscissors/headlocks.
ReplyDeleteThesz did a little heeling with a couple of not so clean breaks, but no real heel/face divide. Hell, Gotch got the best positive reaction from the crowd during the intros.
Its great. I love how he basically throughout his WWE tenure has told Vince (And steph) off time and time again.
