That show was awsome. Friends and I had a blast.Never seen a full NJPW show before but this shit made me a fan. The NEVER match was brural, Omega is the coolest, and Nakamura...Enough good things cannot be said about Nakamura.
Or you can just use the open thread like we all did.
Loved the show, though I ended up watching it on my phone as the Flipps app wouldn't stream to my TV. It also crashed right in the middle of Styles/Naito, which sucked as that was the match I was looking forward to the most. The two main events were nothing short of awesome, and I also really enjoyed the Ishii/Makabe match. Also have to say that Matt Striker impressed me with how he kept JR moving along after a couple of mistakes, their commentary was on the whole pretty good.
I watched on my phone through NJW and the stream was perfect throughout. Missed the first hour because I was sleeping but I may go back and watch the opener. It was a great show, paced very well, with matched increasing in quality towards the main event. I was slightly disappointed that none of the undercard reached potential, but that's me being greedy. I rated the main event higher than Ibushi/Nakamura although that match was more fun to watch so I may switch my ratings after another go round.
even people who have never seen wrestling in their life will love Nakamura if they watch him for the first time.awesome show. surprise there isn't much interest here or in 411
There was fair amount of interest. Most of the discussion happened in the daily thread.Agreed on Nakamura. There can't be many more charismatic than him worldwide.
Had a complete non fan join us for the show tonight. Can confirm, he loved Nakamura
Does anybody know if the PPV feed on Comcast is in English? Is this the show Jim Ross was going to announce? I'm thinking about ordering the replay at 6pm CST tonight.
I didn't catch every single match, but what I did see (the final three in a particular) were pretty great.
If you're ordering the show on ppv, then it will be with English commentators.
