  1. Primarily white suit Angle is an underrated look.

  2. I always partial to 2006 black suit Angle

    ReplyDelete
  3. LOL....Austin just straight up steps on Rock's balls

  4. It's kinda tough hearing slightly mush-mouthed JR but you have to give props for working through it.

    Stiffies

    ReplyDelete
  6. Bret and Flair pull off one of the least obvious and most obvious blade jobs in mania history within about 45 minutes of each other.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Bret's "hardway's" are a thing of beauty

    ReplyDelete
  8. Speaking of WM 2000, can't believe they didn't bring in the Radicalz as WCW invaders and did their version of the nWo.

    ReplyDelete
  9. See, now Lawler's back to his 94-98 form, so it was clearly the fault of Michael Cole the Goatee Wearing Bitch

    ReplyDelete
  10. Me too but white doesn't get enough love.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I rewound it back twice and I really think I know how to break down a wrestling match and I honestly couldn't tell when he did it, so for one Bret worked fast as hell and he was super discreet. That's why he's the best.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Always felt Lawler's commentating was overrated, even in his prime during the attitude era.

    ReplyDelete
  13. We just ran a segment with Bill Walton chilling at the MGM Grand pool with young hotties and the Utah mascot while wearing a Willie Nelson shirt because of course he is.

    Bill Walton is the best.

    ReplyDelete
  14. He gets the razor when he is knocked outside, he gigs when Piper sucker punches him a minute later.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I preferred his less gushy blood than the crimson mask that Dusty and Flair would do. Getting a nasty cut happens in a real fight; the crimson mask is S&M porn.

For the newly married among us; don't ever call your significant other a shitty person for calling you an incompetent ass when something goes wrong. It doesn't end well at all.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wow WM 8 Liz was smoking hot.

    ReplyDelete
  20. It goes from a garbagey brawl to a proto-version of WrestleMania X-7

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh you're on the Water Buddies show!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi every BoDy!

    ReplyDelete
  23. That was a crazy fast gig. That's pretty impressive for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wood (esp. morning)

    ReplyDelete
  25. It was a joke we made about Natural Disasters. Imagine if it went the other way around and Tugboat got Earthquake to change his name to a boat.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Really dumb joke from a couple nights ago.

A different world where Earthquake embraced the power of Hulkamania and became half of a boat themed tag team with Tugboat.

  32. Were you here last night for the talk about Charlotte woo'ing when she gets it up the butt?

The slow drawn out woo, too

    ReplyDelete
  33. Mike Rotunda would have to manage them.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Pretty good match. Clearly the worst of the trilogy but it was fun. ***1/2

I needed that laugh in the worst way right now, thanks guy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. for the single among you: don't ever get married.

    Craig DeGeorge

    ReplyDelete
  54. Really good match so far.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Craig DeGeorge --> Mooney --> Pettingill --> Lance Wright --> Cole --> Josh Matthews --> Todd Grisham

I lose track of the parade of pretty boy interviewers after that

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'll do WrestleMania 16 and call it a day. You got a set a special time for X7, baby.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "Lukewarm" MrJustinBMarch 12, 2015 at 5:43 PM

It's kind of a weird thing to have lived through a whole generation of fans who so hated Vince on commentary that it was a goto joke, to Cole, to now Lawler. At this point, I feel fans would love a bit of "123Hegothimnohedidn't!"

    ReplyDelete
  62. Great Brock-Angle match!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Ok I have no interest in 16, where we at on SS 03

    ReplyDelete
  64. Remember when Ventura pulled Vince to the table a few years ago, comlete with the suit and Obsession?

Vince really should channeled his past life there

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'd take David Crockett and Larry Matysik at this point.

Vince had the disadvantage of being compared with legends like Russell, Solie, Ross, etc while these current doofuses don't have that.

  95. Do you realize for a while how many people from the State were in mainstream tv?

Reno 911 had a couple people
    Michael Ian Black
Joe LeTruglio is still going strong

    ReplyDelete
  96. Ken Marino has a show I think.
Michael Ian Jan and David Wain are cult directors.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Off to get pizza. Back in a few.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Wait, you're acting as if we're still not getting that. It's just in a far blander form. Every single important match, like a title match, Cole will have his "COVER, WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION, and a kickout at 2" that'll take the suspense out of every meaningful pinfall attempt.

    ReplyDelete

Wrestlemania 16 was my one and only live in-person Mania and it felt like just another PPV. So weird, since they were delivering such great PPVs in 2000. The main event felt like Just A Match, rather than a Mania title match. The two triple threat matches delivered, but the rest was forgettable.

  120. The Barry Lutz Show (asking the chimp if he knows he is), the prison without a fence (just a line that is considered "off limits"), and the mailman delivering tacos are some of my favorite sketches other than the Doug ones and Louie crashing the last supper.

    ReplyDelete
  134. In 2003, "ECW" was the "This is awesome!" of overused crowd chants.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Kane-RVD hasn't been bad so far.

    ReplyDelete
  136. So I rarely watch smackdown, did they edit DBry's audio on that intro? Cause it sounded pretty muted on this TV

    ReplyDelete
  137. And then going off of that, since you'd need a fresh main event for Backlash...I'd make it a fatal four way with Rock, HHH, Jericho, and Benoit. But then Backlash would have one less awesome match :(

    ReplyDelete
  138. Wait, Summerslam 03?

Have fun during that main event. Maybe it's changedsince then

Also people always point to WrestleMania 2000 as disappointing because the rest of 2000 was so strong but if you view WWF years as Mania to Mania then WM 2000 was the conclusion to the 1999 season and thus makes much more sense. X-7 was the conclusion to the 2000 season and is appropriately epic.
