Post-Backlash RAW Open Thread

Howdy, pretty good PPV eh?

Best way to follow up a kick ass PPV like that is with a RAW that will (hopefully) answer some questions

So enjoy the show and come out swinging but remember to keep it clean.

Comments

  1. An explanation, a start of a new fued and good match is all I want from this show. Probably asking too much.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I'm guessing Lesnar will attack Cena during his goodbye promo and it will lead into HHH/Brock.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Anyone know any decent and clean sites where I can stream the Cena/Lesnar match? I don't know who to trust, and I don't want to install anything.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Personally, I'm hoping for D-Bry's continued in the WHC scene. He's too damn good.

Lesnar beating the ever-loving shit out of Trips and Cena would be fun too.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I love that the April B-show hasn't been Backlash in years, but it's still occasionally called Backlash by everyone from Alvarez to Meltzer to Keller. It's adorable. And hey, I still call it Backlash too. "IT'S STILL BACKLASH TO ME, DAMMIT!"

That said, I've been avoiding jumping into the "Brock loses" debate because I didn't see the show, and it just seems like a minefield, but it's hard not to want to speak on it, so I'll only say this:

In previous eras, other top guys would have been given that finish, that they were booked to go over clean on the top monster heel. And in previous eras, they'd have said, "What? No, I'm not doing that. Fuck you." Maybe not in those words, but they would have had the good sense to either turn it down or offer an alternative, because the men of previous eras would have realized how much money was being flushed down the toilet, and they wouldn't have stood for that shit.

I'm surprised Brock didn't speak up, but he's already getting paid so I doubt he gives a shit anyway. But I'm really not that surprised at all if it turns out Cena didn't at least try to speak up and say "Hey, maybe we shouldn't put me over him, especially since crowds seem to slowly be coming back around to me, and maybe our quarterly earnings report won't be so embarrassing next time around if we maybe don't put me over Brock on the first match out."

For all his talk during The Rock feud of "standing up for the boys in the back," he doesn't seem that intent on helping the boys in the back make more money by shooting down such a short-sighted finish. And don't give me that shit about him not having the power to do so. If Cena walks, Vince is well and truly fucked, so he'd at least hear John out. Say what you will about Hulk Hogan and how his motivating factors were always how to best make himself look good, but he knew well enough to not beat his monster opponents as soon as the feuds began, because he knew they'd subsequently draw shitty houses, and nobody would make any money. If Cena were about the boys in the back, he'd be more interested in helping them make more money across the board, and I say this as a staunch Cena supporter, who believes he's not only a great guy but a great worker, and is absolutely deserving of his spot as the number one guy in the brand. But if he's not going to help make any of the young guys in the ring, the least he could do is make them more money outside of it.

  6. Micheal Cole even ruins the video packages.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I don't think Cena's responsible for his own booking. How would he leverage that into his contract? Where the fuck is John Cena going to go?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wait, I thought it was "starring Brock Lesnar" if he won?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Most destructive force, most dangerous athlete...none of that means anything now you dolts.

    ReplyDelete
  10. People Power!!! I love it.

First Raw Ive watched in a WHILE live.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks. Hopefully Raw stays interesting enough that I'm not tempted to watch it before tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  12. God, he is so small now... and here comes HHHH

    ReplyDelete
  13. Ugh, less talking, Brock. Beat the shit out of Lawler or Cole or something.

    ReplyDelete
  14. What the fuck is this...why are they acting like he won? lol

    ReplyDelete
  15. This is funny, they're LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY making Brock Lesnar "just another guy".

    These guys are champs.

    ReplyDelete
  16. So I mean, is anyone really surprised that HHH is out that as Vince's avatar in putting Brock in his place?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yes! This is exactly what I want from a wrestling show...disputing contract stipulations! I love legalese!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Vince is masturbating hardcore to this right now. Dana White is laughing.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If I could click the Like button a million times, I would.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Brock should already be beating the holy hell out of someone. This had better go somewhere fast.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Say agree one more time.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Triple H's pop absolutely DESTROYED Brock's. This, people, is why Cena winning was such a huge mistake. Do you see the damage done to Brock?

    ReplyDelete
  23. This is retarded. Shut the fuck up and hit someone.

    ReplyDelete
  24. "They want to see you face Randy Orton...Sheamus...."

Does anyone want to see Brock vs Sheamus? I don't believe I've once heard that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ZZZzzzzzZZZ.... starting the show like this is reason one why i dont watch on a weekly basis. This is DEATH.

    ReplyDelete
  26. For an unstoppable killing machine, he sure does stand around a lot listening to contract negotiations.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This is actually pretty intense. Brock is a psycho.

    ReplyDelete
  28. HHH: Here we go... i saw that,.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Why do they think anyone cares about this contract negotiation stuff? Just get to the beatdown already.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Awwww shit, I want to see Brock and HHH right MEOW!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Drinking contest. Maybe arm wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  32. My God. Even the big beatdown was quiet when Brock was strong.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Kofi and R-Truth forgive HHH's past racial insensitivities.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Kimura =  instantly over as the most vicious submission in wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If HHH can come back from being dropped in a car within a few months, he should be over his broken arm in time for next month's PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yep, Brock is "just another guy." Just like all the other guys who've left HHH laying. How many are there?

    ReplyDelete
  37. If his arm was broken, R-Truth holding it like that would hurt like hell.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anyone with a broken arm would not want anyone touching his arm R-truth.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Suits decrease durability at a rate even higher than referee shirts.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Not watching, but did they mention that "Triple H" and "HHH" are both trending? Because it's just a million people ripping Triple H. The irony would be awesome.

Triple H vs. Brock is a terrible idea on almost every conceivable level at this point. If they wanted to do HHH/Brock, they should've done that first while Brock was still hot.

In retrospect, Brock shouldve come out and put Cena on the shelf the night after WrestleMania (or the following week) if Cena was going over in the 1st match.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yeah, let the lunatic who talks to his imaginary friends who you fired and the guy that tried to end your career handle your broken arm.

    ReplyDelete
  42. When Big Show ran out, I was thinking I felt kinda bad for him that he's not one of the guys on the "Brock v..." dream match list. Brock v. Show happened a couple of times in 2003 and it was always fun and a pretty good match to boot.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Triple H is awesome. Less than a month ago the Undertaker destroyed him. He hasn't wrestled regularly in over a year, yet he was hanging in there. That'e one tough SOB.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think Big Show just tickled HHH's nads.  After he helped him off the ring apron, he said, "Wow you got some balls there."

    ReplyDelete
  45.  I'm not too excited to see Brock turning into a foil for the continuing Johnny Ace-HHH feud.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Undertaker, Batista, Orton, Cena, HBK, Sheamus...

I like how they started the show acting like Brock had won. I guess wins and losses REALLY don't matter anymore...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I have faith in HHH's power to no-sell even the effects of a suit.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Those matches were great. The first use of the exploding ring right?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Kick his sports coat!

    ReplyDelete
  50. You guys are brutal. That shit was compelling. Not sure what would ever make you happy...

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sitting at home and making zero money isn't exactly "leverage".

    ReplyDelete
  52. It would be the WWE's dream to have every PPV match just stop after 10 minutes.  Then they could retroactively decide who won to fit the next night's booking.

    ReplyDelete
  53. A broken arm out of the socket?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I've never gotten the appeal of Beat the Clock challenges.  "Ooh, I wonder if the next match will be even SHORTER!"

    ReplyDelete
  55. Way to earn that paycheck Eve...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Eve Torres cannot talk, but my god. Oh my god is she fabulous.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The problem here is we're supposed to care because he beat up an executive. Really, we should care because he just laid out HHH, the 13 time (or whatever) world champion who gave THE FUCKING UNDERTAKER the beatings of two lifetimes at WrestleMania. Because Vince needs to put guys in their place.

Also look who's at HHH's side, it's best buddy SHEAMUS. Maybe Sheamus will try and defend HHH's honor and drop the world title to Brock tonight? Eh probably not.

Eve is looking hotter the more business-like she gets. Sadly she's introducing a beat the clock challenge, and they always kind of suck.

    ReplyDelete
  58. EVE OH BOY LEGIT BONER

    ReplyDelete
  59. I actually always like these Beat the Clock challenges. They add a little drama to the roll call of matches. Hopefully this gives us Punk vs. Bryan.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Holy mother of God...Eve looks AMAZING tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  61. BEAT THE CLOCK!

    Yep, this should be good.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Evil Eve in glasses. Yes, please.

    ReplyDelete
  63. But it really wasn't. It was silly. We all knew Brock jumping HHH was going to happen, but they took forever getting there.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Because it was a 20-minute segment about contractual details that are null and void? Ooh! Ooh! I have an idea: next week, Big Johnny visits his local planning and zoning commission to get a variance for an in-ground swimming pool!

    ReplyDelete
  65. They should call this a "Beat the Traffic Home" challenge

    ReplyDelete
  66. Where's a "we're not worthy" smiley when you need it?

    ReplyDelete
  67. That would be phenomenal. And we have video proof of it from earlier in their careers when neither was as good as they are now.

    ReplyDelete
  68. If we have HHH-Lesnar at SummerSlam, that leaves Punk open to defend against Daniel Bryan, right?  Fingers crossed super hard?

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think the ring mic is a little loud, because I just heard Miz call a spot, too.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm sure there's plenty of bad movies he could make. Maybe work on another rap album.

    ReplyDelete
  71. She's the hottest Diva by far. They should make her a valet and get someone over.

    ReplyDelete
  72. We laugh, but that could be an entire half hour episode of Parks & Recreation and I'd love it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Those bad movies and bad rap albums are all made via the company that (in this scenario) he's trying to leverage himself against...lol.

    ReplyDelete
  74. The problem is that the WWE takes 25 minutes to accomplish something that should take 5.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Maybe if I didn't know (or I guess I should say "feel like") it was as much about setting up HHH/Brock as it was Vince "putting Brock in his place" through HHH. And I really want to see HHH v. Brock, I just don't need it to be about contract negotiations to care.

    ReplyDelete
  76. That was actually a good little match there.

I bet Miz makes a more convincing Marine than Randy Orton did in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  77. You know what would help Miz? A better finisher.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Cool. People continue to not give a shit about The Miz.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Eve shouldn't wear white. Black is way more slimming...

    ReplyDelete
  80. I actually liked that match better than their Free For All match last evening.

    ReplyDelete
  81. We have video proof from the last few months, as well!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Whenever they do a "Beat The Clock" show, i just imagine a tired writers room, piles of empty coffee cups, after 4 hours of ideas being shot down and Vince just saying, "F-it, do Beat the Clock"

    ReplyDelete
  83. could she stumble on my wang, like she stumbled over those lines?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I don't love Miz, but he does deserve better than his burial of late. I'm thinking it's going to be Tensai, but I wouldn't mind if he won. I could live with a month of him and Punk, if only for the promos.

    ReplyDelete
  85. She shouldn't wear nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I think they generally always go to a finish. Usually there's only one per show that goes over the time set.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Layla. i didnt see her last night, but she will forever be number 1 in my heart and lions.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Lol Jesus man hold it together.

    ReplyDelete
  89. "You won last night, so I'm required by law to win tonight.  See you tomorrow night for the Superstars taping."  Pretty sure that's what he said.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Even Randy Orton finds it in bad taste that Miz will be portraying a marine.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yeah but I'm sure someone else would cast him in their low budget movie, just for the fame association. And anyone with a laptop can make a rap album these days, I'm surprised at this point there isn't a beat-making app for iPhone. Actually there probably is.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Beating a guy is a little different that leaving him laying, I think. I'll give you Orton & Sheamus. And even with Orton it was kind of 50-50.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Eww yeah there probably is, it's probably got like...Will.I.Am's picture on the icon or some shit.

I'm just saying, I don't think Cena's ever had the stroke to determine his own booking. Everything we've ever heard about the guy has been that he's a soldier that will do whatever he's asked.

    ReplyDelete
  94. That was a nice little match.

Layla makes a much better heel.

    ReplyDelete
  95. The Bellas are just looking unreal lately.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I like Layla, but I don't see her as a babyface. She just looks like a heel to me.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'm just sort of "eh" on this whole thing with Hunter. Although I guess I should just shut up and be thankful that for at least another month or two Brock and Punk/Bryan will be kept separate.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Justin Roberts makes some interesting vocal inflection decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  99.  Well he did used to run around yelling "Ooh-rah". Remember that psychotic referee from WCW that put up a blog saying that Vince had computer chips implanted in the brains of all his wrestlers and Cena & Miz (who at that time was just a cheesy manager) were supposed to be brainwashing kids into joining the Marines?

    ReplyDelete
  100. smiling babyface layla doesnt do it for me either... but she is still sexy.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Wish the Bellas in all their Future Endeavors.......

    ReplyDelete
  102. Layla returning to try and reclaim her best ass title from Naomi is far more important than the Divas title.

    ReplyDelete
  103. My God...that jacket is glorious.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say Jericho's opponent is Kofi.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I already had AJ at #1 and then they put her with my favorite wrestler.

    ReplyDelete
  106. even though he is from cleveland, i can not seem to get behind the miz. he just sucks... at least we have dolph ziggler.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Jesse Baker used to be a WCW ref?

    ReplyDelete
  108. I read that Punk-Jericho was really well received backstage last night. Seemed to be more so than Sheamus-Bryan. While I don't necessarily agree with that, I'm a huge mark for both guys, so good for them. Punk's spot seems really tenuous right now, so the more backstage goodwill the better.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Where is this delicious blog?

Personally, I always found the brainwashing works better AFTER you join.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Scott had a link to it up on here way back in the day. It was Randy Anderson, I think, if that helps in your Googling.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Why is Punk's spot tenuous? Dude gets more mainstream pub than anyone not named John Cena. Or Daniel Bryan, post-YES.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Did we ever get a Big Show/Jericho feud? Seems incredible that as long as they've been in the WWE together, they've never had a match on PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  113. We must have after JeriShow right?

I wasn't really watching so much back then...

    ReplyDelete
  114. i do like AJ.i can not lie. but its like nerdgirl grew up and got cute. Layla is just pure sexy. and then she speaks...

    ReplyDelete
  115. They call that a small package? That was about as much a small package as my package.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I can't remember but I don't think it led to a ppv match. I think Big Show stayed heel after the split and teamed with Miz.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Big Show is so huge; he's like a Mack truck that just carries frying pans.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I think he (like me) is just worried with Rocky and Brock hanging around out there. Brock is eventually going to murder *someone* for a title I'd think.

(But who knows now, last night taught us they don't really plan on letting any of this write itself.)

    ReplyDelete
  119. Enjoy your trip back to FCW ref.

    ReplyDelete
  120. BULLSHIT. Jericho beats the ten-count, but the ten-count did not beat the Miz's time. No fucking way.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Well new ref guy I've never seen before...it was nice knowing you!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Proof that it takes 30 sec to count to 10.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Punk hasnt been in a four way since he won the title, correct?

    Im leaning towards Miz/Punk/Jericho/Tenzai

    ReplyDelete
  124. Nope, Jericho was technically Smackdown at the time while Show was on Raw, but since they were tag champs they could both be on the same show. After they lost the belts they did a gimmick where Jericho was banned from Raw and he had to buy tickets or sneak into the building to be on the show. Then he finally got pissed when Show told him to let it go and Show laid him out with the big punch. It seemed like Show was turning face but then he basically did JeriShow Lite with ShowMiz.

    ReplyDelete
  125. No. Jericho was stuck on Smackdown, but he became world champion and feuded with a returning Edge.

Show stayed heel, with ShowMiz. They never had a feud. It's not like the team had a messy break-up. It was a marriage of convenience that ended peacefully.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Haha, that poor fuck is somewhere in the back POURING flop-sweat.

    ReplyDelete
  127. It would made infinitely more sense to do the count out spot facing the Tron so that the ref can look at the clock and speed up his count accordingly.

    ReplyDelete
  128. That shit wouldn't have happened to Referee Chad Patton.

    ReplyDelete
  129.  I do like AJ, too. But Eve's my favorite, at least when she doesn't open her mouth. To speak, I mean.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yeah, that's how I feel about Punk to. He just seems like the kind of guy they wouldn't have pushed on their own, if circumstances doesn't suggest it would be a good idea over the summer. Pushing Punk the way they have is about as much of a risk as they're willing to take these days, you never know if they'll throw the title back to Cena if the ratings are down for a couple of weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  131.  To use a Scott-ism: Numeric Referitis!

    ReplyDelete
  132. LOL, they're sticking with it. Awesome.

    Oh snap! Time to dance!

    ReplyDelete
  133. For what it's worth, there was a local commercial for No Way Out with a *lot* of Daniel Bryan saying "Yes!"

    ReplyDelete
  134. This man knows of what he speaks..

    ReplyDelete
  135. So far this is one of the best Beat the Clock challenges, unintentional referee comedy aside.  Since I knew Jericho wasn't going to win it, I'd just as soon he get a time-limit elimination and the match time stay over 4 minutes for a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Exactly, Chin. (On an unrelated note, I think it needs to be acknowledged that as long as we don't talk about Superman we're usually in agreement, haha. Who'd have thought?)

    ReplyDelete
  137. Damn, JTG just looks miserable out there.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Not unless we're counting Divas.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Lol,, right? I think that just proves how super serious Superman is.

(Or that both of us just need hopes or dreams or something...)

    ReplyDelete
  140. JTG must have been boxing King Hippo in Punch-Out and thought he was on to something.

    ReplyDelete
  141. ....sooooooo how'd that surprise work out for you, JTG?

    ReplyDelete
  142. What was his surprise???

    ReplyDelete
  143. I read they were going to keep Punk-Jericho going. I wonder if that ref legitimately blew the finish, and Jericho was supposed to beat Miz' time.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Naomi laying down the gauntlet for the battle of the the best ass in WWE. I eagerly await Layla's response next week. Should be vicious.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Brodus Clay's intro has officially reached the point of making me want to huff napalm. Is that the idiot who thinks Melina vs Alicia Fox is the greatest match of all time doing it? I hate her.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Hey Chin, would you let your kids dance with the Funkasauraus?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Funkasaurus is the MAN!!! I love his act...high impact, entertaining, and OVER. Keep pushing him...

    ReplyDelete
  148. I would think definitely yes, that's why the announce team was confused and they rushed to commercial.

Whatever, Jericho will just beat whoever next week.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Her sole function is to dance and shake that ass for my enjoyment. She can think David Arquette is the greatest World Champion for all I care.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I believe you mean he's like a mack truck with frying pans for hands.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Didn't I hear Cole say Brock left the building? That can't be all the Lesnar we get tonight can it?

    ReplyDelete
  152. #teamlayla #simplyflawless4eva

    ReplyDelete
  153. Of course! He's already been SUPER OVER with the kids from his debut. Starting to bring the kids in the ring is a perfect extension of the character for him I think.

    ReplyDelete
  154. I missed the beginning of RAW, I'm just going to make the assumption that HHH is taking over the feud for Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  155. No problem with Brodus Clay. He is there for the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Those are WEAK AZZ PUNCHES to the gut during the replay. I wouldnt take them... but they do look weak.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I don't know... I don't trust a guy with that many tattoos. Also I'd be afraid he would eat them.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Agree 100%...why shouldn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  159. That's all he carries cause that's all he needs, brother.

    ReplyDelete
  160. My fear would be one of them getting knocked out by an errant ass.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I would be remiss to say Eve is wearing the HELL out of that dress.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I had trouble logging in so I didn't get in no the Brock debate.

Here's how I see it. Yes, Brock had "outs". He dominated the match, was AA'd on the steps, hasn't had a match in 8 years, was hit with a chain, etc...so maybe the fans are thinking "Brock would have killed him if not for (insert whichever out you want)" and still buy him as a killing machine.

Another way to accomplished this is by having him win. It's Kane Booking - tell us he's a monster, tell us nobody can beat him, he loses, have him chokeslam someone the next night and tell us he's a monster.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I like wrestling because my kids like it and it has nothing to do with being able to ogle girls like Eve. I find such behavior disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Who ever is writing that snappy dialogue for Eve should be beaten to death with a dictionary. And now they're giving John Cena another opponent or something? I thought he was getting some time off. Just injure him already. If anyone needed a few months off for a refresh it's him.

Oh, it's my favorite workout song, Voices, and Randy Orton.

    ReplyDelete
  165. ...if John Cena wins the "Beat the Clock Challenge" after what he went through last night you will see the collective heads of all Cena haters explode.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I think I saw nipple, but I probably just imagined it.

    ReplyDelete
  167. So he will wrestle Brock while wearing a cast at the next PPV and pin him as well, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  168. The ONLY way this works is if Brock comes back to enter the Challenge and beat Cena's ass setting up...ugh...a title match at the next PPV while HHH heals up...right?

    ReplyDelete
  169. Any chance that Orton wins, they move the belt onto him, and he's the guy to drop it to Brock at their rumored SummerSlam match? It's like my nightmare about Punk's spot realized.

    ReplyDelete
  170. You guys warm my heart :)

    ReplyDelete
  171. If it's Namoi's ass it will jump-start them into puberty.

    ReplyDelete
  172. I have the same nightmare about Punk's spot. He should keep the belt for a long time. I don't think Brock needs it for his showdowns with Rock and Cena.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Vickie's voice made my cat jump off the counter and run behind the couch.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I LOVE Jack Swagger. He is a stud. Outside of Kofi, Dolph, he has the most upside of all the new guys.

    ReplyDelete
  175.  He's already been around as long as Ted DiBiase's entire WWF run as an active wrestler. In what way is he "new"?

    ReplyDelete

Almost want it to happen just to watch the total meltdown here.

  177. I like Swagger in the ring, and thought he had charisma when he just had the "sleepy Gary Busey grin" as Striker put it, but I think Lawler's backhanded compliment just now summed up his weakness, which is, "he's bigger than he looks, he's stronger than he looks, he's tougher than he looks."  He should look those things more.

  178. I would call an audible and have the ref who screwed up Jericho/Big Show some how come out and screw up the rest of the matches, then reveal that Miz paid him off... setting up some kind of battle royal or something to open the show next week. Then they can fire the ref in storyline for his bribery, and in real life for messing up the count-out... although with such intricate timing required, it's what makes that finish such a bad idea and why this is a better idea for Smackdown instead of Raw.

  179. I see her as my mistress. (not in a bondage kind of way, of course if she wants to explore that route on occasion then that would be cool too.)

  180. Hahahaha....you're a madman. I like him, I just feel like he's missing something though. He needs a decent heel push, a real *actual* push where they get his moves over.

  181. Kids who are just starting to watch wrestling must think of Jack Swagger being a former World Champion the way I used to think of Bob Backlund as a former World Champion: "Damn, it must have been really easy to win the title back in the day."

  182. Not to mention his counting didn't even sound like actual numbers, just yelling random noises.  No wonder no one knew what happened.
