Tupac's Just Fucking With Us Now

Yes, HOLOGRAPHIC TUPAC plays Coachella.  He's not even TRYING to hide his living status now.  Dude's been dead for 15 years now and he's still got better abs than any of the guys in the audience and another 2 CDs coming soon.  Hopefully no one comes up with Holographic Biggie to trigger an East-West Hologram War.

Actually, come to think of it, they might just resurrect Biggie with this unholy technology and have them do a Pepsi commercial together.

  1. Hopefully no one comes up with Holographic Biggie to trigger an East-West Hologram War.

lol, personally, i'd rather see another East-West Ventriloquist war.

  2. Scott, your last line is what scares me about all of this. Who is to stop something like that happening now? I guess Pac's mom gave Dre permission to do it at Coachella, but I don't even know if that is absolutely necessary, with him being dead and all. And was anyone at that concert that psyched that they got to see Tupac "live"?

  3. They were going to have Holographic Biggie, but no one wanted to pay the increased electrical costs to make it happen...

  4. Rumor has it that Kim Kardashian is already trying to hook up with Holographic Tupac.

  5.  Yes. Someone needs to resurrect Mr. Show instead of these hip hop artists

  6. I can't be the only one wondering if WWE might try something like this someday. We could finally get that Sammartino-Hogan-Austin-Cena Fatal-Four-Way match, and settle all the debate.

  7. It's not a bad idea for the WWE to try something like this.  Maybe create a hologram opponent for Kane.

  8.  I think she may have ownership over his likeness.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Well, you could start by taking Cena out, he's not part of the debate.

  10. So Tupac is the new Hatsune Miku?

  11. What is this Coachella?

Tupac has always been a hologram, you guys.

  13. I saw this and thought it was awesome. They should do this for all sorts of dead musicians, why the fuck not, we have the technology! I want to go see Tupac, Biggie, Big L, etc play all of their old shit, even if they are holograms that would be awesome, that video looked great. Do it for rock stars too. Get a hologram Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison out there, stat! Lennon too.

  14. All of those guys are still alive though, do it now!

  15. She gave him permission after he gave a healthy donation to the Tupac Shakur fund.

  16. I don't know if heaven has a ghetto, but it apparently has a nice gym...or at least PX90.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's a music festival in California.  That's about it.

  18. Honestly, I'd pay top dollar to see holographic 2Pac live. I'm sure a lot of people would, and he'd outsell any of the current that's out today that people want to call rap. Have Biggie & Eazy-E on the bill too. They could probably have Blacc Haze do some of the "live" stuff, like I'm sure they did when 'Pac said "what up, Cochella!"

  19. Hologram 2pac should stick around as a celebrity with a completely distinct personality from tupac shakur.

  20.  Pac wasn't even really ghetto, anyway. His mom was an intellectual type that was involved with the Black Panthers, so if she didn't have money it was more by choice of being a "radical" than by economic force. Pac went to a fancy performing arts private school. Most of the "ghetto" stuff was a gimmick with him. To which I say, good. Nowadays he wouldn't even have to hide the fact that he's not really "gangsta", ie. Lil Wayne or Kanye.

  21. I don't have any theoretical problem with this, I just don't see the point. What excitement is there in going to a concert and seeing a performer you know is not really there, and is in fact dead? You're just listening to a recording and watching a video. It's like going to a concert movie without editing.

Although CNN started this trend by using it to have people on their election coverage stage that weren't actually there, like will.i.am.  WWE should do this rather than having Rock appear via satellite, or so they can still have Lesnar cut promos and let him stay off the road more.

  22. I was quoting one of his songs..oh, nevermind:

  23. Don't take it personal, Jef...Mr. Murphy is traditionally pretty dense. I don't think he does it purposefully or that he can help it. It's best to just avoid and move on, you know?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow, this just blows my mind. Kind of makes me think the money spent on this sort of tech crap could go to a much better purpose though. I'm not totally convinced that Pac is actually dead, but that's a whole other discussion.

    ReplyDelete
  25.  Ah. Honestly I've never gotten too into Pac. Still my point stands. And fuck this Dan cunt.

    ReplyDelete
  26.  There's a Tumblr pic going around of that, actually.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe WWE can make Holographic Eddie Guerrero in his WWE Title era and Holographic Macho Man in his prime so we can see something really watchable besides Brock and DB.

    ReplyDelete
  28. There are actually several people out there who think he's not really dead.  I remember a few years ago, there was a Vibe magazine issue that featured a picture of Tupac with new tattoos and one in particular that referenced 9-11.  Obviously, those were photoshopped but it's funny how the magazine didn't even reference the tattoos and basically left it to the reader to notice them.

  29. I pretty sure he is dead, and that Shug Knight (doubt I'm spelling that right and don't care, fuck that scumbag) had him killed because he owed Pac money. I just have a hard-on for conspiracy theories. Pac and Biggie are still alive, Oswald didn't kill Kennedy, Bush was in on 9/11 (I'm damn sure of that one no matter what), the British government had Diana killed because she was fucking an arab guy, you get the drill... Never trust ANYONE (except family and close friends, and even then be REALLY careful), and always assume you're being lied to.

Wouldn't surprise me if Tupac is living in the Cayman Islands or something drinking some of that good $300 a glass shit. He has made way more money dead than alive.

Before anyone jumps in my shit, I just want to say that conspiracy theories are just theories, I'm not saying they're facts. And that half of what you see on the news is bullshit. Make that 90% if you're watching Fox News.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like conspiracy theories they get people talking and most them seem really plausible. Especially the Kennedy one, I still think the Government had a hand in it somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hologram Tupac>>>>>>Any rapper out today.

I knew they're gonna run this thing into the ground apparently he's going on tour.

    ReplyDelete
  32.  and Guerilla Black do the same for Biggie. :D

    ReplyDelete
  33. Uh...I actually wouldn't have a problem with Hologram Owen, Rick Rude or Curt Hennig cutting promos next Raw because it would be the best RAW since their times.  I mean, really, hey, I think I have my morals and all but I'm not related to them so that shouldn't affect me one bit.

    ReplyDelete
  34. There are pictures of his body online- at least there used to be.  It was at a totally gross site called rotten.com.    They also posted pictures of Chris Farley at the scene of his death that I  really wish I could "unsee" and erase from my mind.
