WWF - WrestleMania X-Seven (DVD, 2001, 2-Disc Set)

Hey Scott long time reader and owner of all your books. Just wondering if you plug my EBAY  sell, the wife is making me shed my collection a little. Thanks if you can. Keep up the great writing.

Really?  $70?  People are actually paying that for this show?  Not that it isn't awesome, but holy cow.

Anyway, good luck!

  1. Well it's unedited, I think that makes it more valuable. You know, no blurring the scratch logo, changing music etc. thats important to some people.

  2. I've added it to my Watch List. Don't get excited though, it's just so I can see whether anyone is crazy enough to shell out min $70 for it

  3. It's probably worth it when you consider most of the big matches on this show aren't available anywhere else.

  4. If I remember correctly from my crazymax.org days... it might be the rarest WWE DVD there is.

  5. if seen this dvd get sold for a lot less. just because some seller hopes/expects people to pay as much doesn't mean they are actually gonna do it.

  6. Has it never been rereleased or put into bluray?

  7. People will pay money to see Wrestlemania X-7 in an actually viewable format. The 'Do Not Adjust Your Eyes, It Really Looks This Way' Anthology release, like most other blurred versions of WWF PPVs, has so much censoring that it's impossible to sit down and simply enjoy the sodding event.

  8. I agree. The blurring, music edits and "Ghost Finkle" makes it hard to watch some older releases.

  10. Do people really still use ebay now days?

  11. It's a good set by the way, although $70 seems quite steep (down to $50 now though it appears).  They have a bunch of additional stuff covering the backstory on most of the matches.

  12. If you are gonna buy it on Ebay, you might as well just download a torrent. If I can't buy it from WWE directly, I just torrent it(old shows usually. Though I have this show on VHS and Anthology format. Great show.

  13. Why the hell is it so rare? You'd think a Wrestlemania DVD would not be THAT insanely difficult to find...

  14. I've got my good ol' VHS copy, right from the PPV itself.

  15. trololol. Well I payed 20$ (australian) for it recently. SV version region 2 ftw.

  16. No and there's no point, it wasn't recorded that way so it will look no better than it does on DVD.

  17. If you're in NA, get region free DVD player and buy Silvervision releases... they're the shit.

  18. It's rare, but there are other dvd's that are much more rare. The American versions of Vengeance and Judgement Day 2002 were both only available through wwe.com and are pretty rare. The Special Edition Trish Stratus dvd is generally considered one of if not the rarest dvd ever. It usually gets over $100 on ebay. I don't know who really needs those two or three bonus Women's Titles matches or who would buy a Trish dvd in the first place, but there you go.

  19. Nah dude, nobody does. Cool.

  20. True, but it's all relative. Those were more or less throwaway shows (I don't even remember either other than I *think* the Rock/Angle/Taker match was at one of those) while Wrestlemania X-7 was arguably the biggest wrestling show ever and it's still extremely rare.
