Burn It To The Ground Tonight!

http://www.tout.com/m/enlfgc?ref=twt68bw3

I knew that no good would come of that Nickelback song.  Maybe R-Truth and Evan Bourne left their blunts too close to the Titantron's flammable screen?  At any rate, not a good omen for the 3-hour RAW era.

Comments

  1. I was waiting for Scott Steiner to come out.

    ReplyDelete
  2. BWAHAHAHA. I can't believe Tout just came in handy.

    ReplyDelete
  3. One of two things is going to happen with 3 hrs RAWs. This is assuming they follow the 75% social media/25% Sportz Entertainment breakdown I've read about for the 1st hour.

    1) People will tune into the 1st hour, get sick of all the social media BS, tune out, and not bother coming back b/c they have no reason to think things will change throughout the show. Ratings across the board will go down. WWE will see people tune out in droves during the 1st hour, so they will cut it in order to get people back on track.

    2) People will realize that the 1st hour is BS, so they will come back close to the 2nd hour. Along the way, 1st hr ratings will tank, and WWE will no longer be able to justify whatever they're charging sponsors for 1st hour exposure, and eventually the 1st hr will be scrapped.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I agree. I think they'll go 3 hours through WrestleMania and if it's not working, scrap it then. It's kind of silly that they're going 3 hours with MNF five weeks away. The pregame show alone pulls in just as many viewers as Raw.

    ReplyDelete
  5. My god, they found a use for tout!

    ReplyDelete
  6. And with that, Jericho is suspended for another 30 days.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Football is why they're going to 3 hours. If they can't pull high numbers in 2 hours, they'll go to a 3rd hour and claim that they have more total viewers.

WCW tried the same trick. It didn't work then either.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I dunno, he got me to click on a Tout video. That's something I'd never done before. I think in today's WWE that's way bigger than having a good match or getting over.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Jericho will have another story on his house when he gets home this evening.

    ReplyDelete
  10. What is this stupid show on before Raw?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Boo! New DISUCKS is back! Boo, I say!

    ReplyDelete
  12. NCIS: Los Angeles - sadly one of the top ten shows in the country for three years running.

    ReplyDelete
  13. My god America is unbelievably stupid sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  14. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW

    ReplyDelete
  15. Through hellfire & brimstone...IT'S RAW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. A montage already?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I wonder if they have a plan for something like this. Like, say this had happened at 8:30 instead of 6:30. What do they do? Backstage skits? Show classic footage? Make quick video packages?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Three hour show, dude. Gotta fill time somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  19. So is this the official RAW thread?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Its either Raw or synchronized diving on the Olympics.

    ReplyDelete
  21. In the case of NCIS, it's merely a case of a substantial proportion of it being old.

    ReplyDelete
  22. "CM Punk turned on the WWE Universe."

    Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah, not a fan of new Disqus either

    ReplyDelete
  24. I hate the phrase "WWE Universe" with a burning passion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. That's babyfaces heat for Punk. This ain't a heel turn. Even my marky dad thinks so.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yeah, he's kind of sexy that way.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think The Rockers could have medalled in synchronized diving.

    ReplyDelete
  28. UH OH SOMEBODY BROUGHT THEIR PIPE BOMB

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wonder what will happen with Punk.

    ReplyDelete
  30. DAMMIT! Why isn't Marcus Cor Von employed there anymore?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEqEas9hUAI

    ReplyDelete
  31. Please don't make Punk a whiny heel

    ReplyDelete
  32. Good God, I almost forgot how much I missed this CM Punk. Thank heavens he's back. Nothing earth shattering, but at least the edge is there again.

    ReplyDelete
  33. All things considered, this is good. At first everyone is booing him, now they're on his side.

    Now it gets shitty.

    ReplyDelete
  34. So I'm not watching at the moment, what's the verdict on CM Punk?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I didn't take it as whiny. I took it as someone who won't be disrespected. But I can certainly see where they could go the whiny route.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "Yeah, boo"

    I laffed.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hate to say this, but I'm...enjoying Big Show right now.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well this is turning into a giant clusterfuck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. WOW JOHN CENA VERSUS THE BIG SHOW FOR THE 20TH TIME CAN'T WAIT #WWEUniverse

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Cena and Show exchange was sad. He tosses Cena then runs away. Lame.

Plus, AJ as a generic G
M isn't going to work wonders

    ReplyDelete
  41. Punk's speech - relevant, different, good.
Big Show's reaction - charismatic, different, also good.

Then Cena comes out, the same Attitude-era beatdown we've seen a million times.

Then AJ comes out (in a business suit, why?) (called AJ Lee, why?) (playing the heel, why?) and does the same old number-one-contender bullshit we've seen a million times.

LET SOMETHING NEW HAPPEN FOR ONCE.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So I turn on Raw....AJ is wearing a pantsuit and doing the cliche " fights John Cena, winner gets a title match at "

Well that's disappointing...they had so much potential w/ crazy AJ as GM and they kick off w/ Mad-Libs?

Pass on Raw tonight, sorry WWE. I got taped delayed Olympics to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Raw was the most socially-active show on TV and beat all the top 10 on broadcast TV combined! What a feat!

    ReplyDelete
  44. So, who wants to bet Punk attacks both to end the show, and it's made a triple threat for Summerslam!

    SO EXCITING AND DIFFERENT!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Phresh! Phunky! #WWEUniverse

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh ADR is going to beat up Santino again.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Over/under on how long this match lasts? 90 seconds?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Del Rio beats up Marella...again. We saw this like 2 weeks ago. Damn this show.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Over, but just barely.

    ReplyDelete
  50. They wouldn't have passed the drug test.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Is it just me, or is Del Rio a little leaner?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nice squash, too bad I've already seen it before.

    ReplyDelete
  53. This match has to have been featured upwards of ten times at this point over the past two years.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Over, because of the inevitable ad-break. But also because they need to fill the time with SOMETHING that isn't tout-pimping.

    ReplyDelete
  55. YOU NAILED IT

    ReplyDelete
  56. It looks like Steph drove her down to Fashion Bug to pick out her generic female GM outfit.

    ReplyDelete
  57. 3-hour Raw = 7-minute Santino-ADR matches. Fun.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yes, yes it is. I don't mind procedurals if done well - Law & Order can be entertaining without making you feel stupid - but the CBS breed of CSI/NCIS is purposefully dumbed down for middle America and the over 60 crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Michael Cole: "It's ironic that Santino is trending on Twitter, because Del Rio just exterminated the Cobra."

Alanis Morissette's definition of irony has NOTHING on this dude.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Del Rio goes from beating Santino in 30 seconds to beating him in 7 minutes and Cole says he's ready for Sheamus.

Also, ADR shouldn't cut his own promos.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Amidst all the criticism though, nice match, I always like Santino selling submissions like a pro, and I like the post-match promo. More of that please.

    ReplyDelete
  62. EVERYBODY beats the US champion like nothing Del Rio. In fact moa people don't need to wrestle him though the commercial break.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Did Santino even have the belt? It seems like they've been quietly phasing the title out since he won it.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Fuck. I was hoping they'd save the Punk promo for the 9pm crossover. Now I almost have no reason to watch. And new Disqus is back? Fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Vicky dancing equals no touts

    ReplyDelete
  66. Umm, err...what was the point of Vickie?

    ReplyDelete
  67. So we have mean-spirited dialogue and goofy dancing.

    Who's writing this, Vince?

    ReplyDelete
  68. This show is pure shit. And we still have 2 1/2 hours to go.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Didnt HHH used to come out to Sandow's music?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I had a feeling there would be a "tag team match involving wacky partners."

    ReplyDelete
  71. So far, the extra hour has meant longer video packages and extended squash matches.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Didn't Sandow used to be Randy Savage's brother?

    ReplyDelete
  73. It was new because AJ was making the match. And also she was in the business suit.

By the way, AJ in the business suit took her hotness down by like 1000%. Whose bright idea was that?

    ReplyDelete
  74. You might be forgetting about the first 30 times.m

    ReplyDelete
  75. Triple H came out to "Ode to Joy".

    ReplyDelete
  76. You're ruining people's enjoyment of the show by being so critical. Shame on you!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Oh man, this drama between AJ and Bryan is so good. I bet AJ makes DB fight...KANE!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Pushing Sandow was refreshing though

    ReplyDelete
  79. Damn, I was close.

    ReplyDelete
  80. It's alright dude, you'll get one soon. In the meantime, watch another fucking video package.

    ReplyDelete
  81. ANOTHER video package?

    ReplyDelete
  82. If you ask Vince, no one remembers that ADR beat Santino in 30 seconds last time out because it was more than 2 weeks ago.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Are all these video packages meant to be a tout break for the WWE Universe?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think the funniest part of this HHH and Brock feud is that the bitch telling a guy his children are ashamed of him is somehow the face.

    ReplyDelete
  85. It would literally kill them to put one of the eleventeen wrestlers they have under contract with nothing to do right now in the ring for a few minutes rather than stalling with video clips. Literally kill them.

I've actually enjoyed the show thus far but holy shit, they slammed on the brakes pretty hard there.

    ReplyDelete
  86. And telling him that after you just said not to talk about your children.

    ReplyDelete
  87. This guy is a talented, heterosexual version of The Genius.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Closing in on the 2nd hour. Five minutes of wrestling so far.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Cut her some slack, it's Stephanie McMahon, what does she know about good story-telling?

    ReplyDelete
  90. That was one useless interview

    ReplyDelete
  91. Such diverse options for that Sheamus vs Bryan match...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Will someone spill coffee on someone already?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Am I wrong or is there absolutely no difference between a No Holds Barred match and a Street Fight? And what was with Sheamus asking Josh if he was alright? Was that just awkward or were they setting something up?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Let's get #CoalMinersGloveMatch trending people...

    ReplyDelete
  95. There is no difference, except maybe they'll call it a "Cincinnati Street Fight."

    ReplyDelete
  96. The way this show is going, both the glove and the wheel you spin to get it would get their own video packages.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I refuse to cut her any slack, especially since she basically heads Creative. You know, the main person in charge of good story-telling.

    ReplyDelete
  98. In their defense, it worked for Eve Torres. Until the writers completely forgot she existed.

    ReplyDelete
  99. So from the sound of things, this show has been nothing but video packages with a bit of wrestling thrown in. Geez, the only video packages shown in the 1997 episodes of Raw I'm watching are the "last week on Raw" things that are starting each episode now in May.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Other ways they kill time: have Daniel Bryan yell at the crowd for 20 seconds.

    THE 2ND HOUR IS HERE

    ReplyDelete
  101. More proof the internet needs a sarcasm font.

    ReplyDelete
  102. VINTAGE WHEEL SPINNING.

    ReplyDelete
  103. No, not a bit of wrestling. Five minutes. It's been lousy with pointless segments and overly long packages. You literally don't have to watch Raw because they recap the recap.

    ReplyDelete
  104. The problem with your prediction was it factored in continuity.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Fuck finish coming.

    ReplyDelete
  106. To be fair, creative normally doesn't have to turn in the final draft til 8:55 eastern, so they've only just got the script for tonight.

They've just been airing random videos from WWE.com and a replay of Santino/Del Rio from the 5/18/11 edition of Superstars to kill time.

    ReplyDelete
  107. This entire direction is a nightmare. The voting, the talking, all of it.

I believe that the Brock/HHH promo lasted longer than the TV time of Del Rio/Marella.

This is some "Street Fight", too.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Bracing myself for the further BURIAL of Bryan....

    ReplyDelete
  109. Didn't anyone look at her before she came out?

    ReplyDelete
  110. PG street fight. Hope they find a bag of popcorn to use.

    ReplyDelete
  111. What's the difference between "no holds barred" and "street fight?"

    ReplyDelete
  112. That would reference 1997 Raw, when the storytelling was good.

    ReplyDelete
  113. What the fuck is the difference between a No Holds Barred match and a Street Fight if they're not even wearing JEANS? I yearn to see Sheamus in jeans!

And yes I'm watching, but just in the background...wanted to see how they'd follow up on Punk's turn.

    ReplyDelete
  114. An unprotected bump to a carpeted cement floor from a kneeling position isn't exactly a smart bump to take.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Silly question - don't you know that 90% of the WWE roster lacks non-ring attire?

    ReplyDelete
  116. None whatsoever. I can't think of anything to mock it with because it essentially mocks itself.

    ReplyDelete
  117. So Sheamus' wrists & knees are actually WHITER under there? *shudder*

    ReplyDelete
  118. I don't know, I'm too busy getting drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  119. There's still 2 hours of this show to go. 2 HOURS!

    ReplyDelete
  120. And fighting all over the arena...a bit like a Falls Count Anywhere match! It's like they only planned out one match, regardless of the poll outcome!

    ReplyDelete
  121. One of these days I want one of the options to be "Chess Match".

    ReplyDelete
  122. Pretty good match so far. Maybe Sheamus will finally be forced to sell something.

    ReplyDelete
  123. The crowd goes mild.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Recapping what happened an hour ago.

    ReplyDelete
  125. The video packages and social media references are overwheing at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  126. So what's the end game here with Bryan? They keep dumping shit on him like this and he's going to start getting some sympathy.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Wow. Not even half way through. Scooter will have 50 underage drinkers arrested by the end of this show.

    ReplyDelete
  128. FWIW, a blunt of K2 or Spice would be fucking awful, that shit is mega-harsh. Smoking a blunt of that would be like snorting a line of ground up glass.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Wtf is this. Wrestlecrap just found a new entry

    ReplyDelete
  130. You know what, if we're gonna get upwards of 60 minutes of Daniel Bryan with these three hour Raws, that's fine.
    Destroy these jabronies DBD.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Good lord, this show has been torturous so far. And this isn't helping.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Bahaha. Bryan already relegated to feuding with the tag champs. #BURIAL

    ReplyDelete
  133. AJ: " ... You need a psychiatric evaluation."

My dad: "So does Vince McMahon for putting this shit on."

    ReplyDelete
  134. WWE Creative Humor
    ‏@WWECreative_ish

Is there anything @WWEDanielBryan can't do? You know, besides growing to 6'5 and getting the push he deserves #RAWTonight

    ReplyDelete
  135. R Truth and Lil' Jimmy sold more in that one segment than the Undertaker did last week on RAW.

    ReplyDelete
  136. What has happened in the last 15 minutes?

    ReplyDelete
  137. I was starting to pushback against the rampant negativity, trying to enjoy the good point of RAW, but this is breaking me.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Missed the opening segment where CM Punk sat on the announce table. Hope they show that again.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I'm with ya on that. I want to like it, or at least not be negative. But there's JUST SO MANY RECAPS!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Caldwell on PW Torch praised that segment

    ReplyDelete
  141. I want some of what he's smoking!

    ReplyDelete
  142. This sounds racist, but I just want the Touts from black people because they sell this shit way better.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Coming up, a bunch of men on Tout that will be single for 40 years.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Who's more unstable? really?

    ReplyDelete
  145. It's 9:35 and we are going to start our 3rd match

    ReplyDelete
  146. I feel like there's a joke in here about Kenny King selling out Rhett Titus by going to TNA, but I can't make it work.

    ReplyDelete
  147. So ya shoehorn all the black people in one segment, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  148. What did the Prime Time Players do to deserve this match? Lost on Superstars?

    ReplyDelete
  149. Poor Kofi...he deserves better than this.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Too much Tout. This is why the 'E needed 3 hours?

    ReplyDelete
  151. I would like to take this opportunity to make the point that when you have two guys who aren't that great in the ring but are pretty good in talking segments, giving them a manager to do all their talking for them and giving them matches but not backstage segments is just ACTIVELY trying to cut their legs off. I mean, what the fuck? These two haven't talked on TV in months, and that's all they really had going for them. And then, when this AW loser fails to get them over, they'll be the ones to get cut.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Instead of playing video games, they tout.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Also, I fear for Lil' Jimmy's safety during this match

    ReplyDelete
  154. "Nobody can beat them" Except for Kofi & R-Truth two weeks ago.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Rape joke AW? Really?
I like the Prime Time Players as a tag team, but Titus & D-Young really need to work on their in-ring skills.

    ReplyDelete
  156. ...you were REALLY helpful, Truth.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Why is Kofi eating a pin from Titus O'Neil?

    ReplyDelete
  158. I like Titus. He's improving in the ring and has a lot of charisma.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Could have been worse. He could have done a Batman joke.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'm all for creating new stars. Just not at the expense of guys who haven't been made stars yet.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I kinda think that's gonna be a problem for AW. Like good luck in your future endeavors kinda problem.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Hey, Punk is actually trying again! That was good!

    ReplyDelete
  163. Little Jimmy sold that kick like a CHAMP. (so did the wrestlers)

    ReplyDelete
  164. Wouldn't it be funny if Titus O'Neill got raped by, like, five Kobes right now?

    ReplyDelete
  165. I love the replay of Punk's promo...

Cole: "Let's go back to Punk's scathing indictment!"
Punk: "This is the WWE, and I'm it's champion."
Cole: "Then the Big Show came out. Then JOHNCENAJOHNCENAJOHNCENAJOHNCENAJOHNCENAJOHNCENA

    ReplyDelete
  166. They'll be a recap of it sooner or later.

    ReplyDelete
  167. His subtle dickishness was beyond the capabilities of anyone else on the full-time roster.

    ReplyDelete
  168. "Little Jimmy has just been suspended 60 days for a WWE Wellness Violation".

    Ah, that explains it.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Haha no shit they had to apologize for it. Well he's fucked.

    ReplyDelete
  170. They apologized for the rape joke. Goodbye AW.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Looks like you're spot on with that...

    ReplyDelete
  172. Wow. They really DID replay the last segment.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Yeah, he's done.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Lita's bewbs = win

    ReplyDelete
  175. The constant replays of what happened 5 minutes ago is grating

    ReplyDelete
  176. Yeah just caught that. Yikes...makes Bryan's tie incident look like even less than the nothing it was.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Yep, that's not pg

    ReplyDelete
  178. Ah fuck. Sixty days has gone by too fast.

    ReplyDelete
  179. RANDY ORTON has NINE CHAMPIONSHIPS? Good grief.

    ReplyDelete
  180. This is how they bring back Orton?

    ReplyDelete
  181. He'll be fine. It's not like he got pissed at Cena for a backstage rib or anything severe like that.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Die laughing if Slater beats him in 40 seconds.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Orton looks smaller than ever.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Man, Randy hasn't exactly been staying in shape lately

    ReplyDelete
  185. Very little definition.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Even though Orton's beard was shit, he still looks 16 without it.

    ReplyDelete
