Scott,
Love your work. I have a theory to run by you, if I may.
What if CM Punk is cutting a promo mid-ring about how the Shield are wrong to have done what they did at Royal Rumble and then the lights go out. Punk continues to berate the Shield about how their dumb tricks are stupid, etc. Then lights come back on and it's the Undertaker standing behind Punk.
My theory is this: do you think WWE has been conditioning audiences to accept the lights out gimmick for the Shield so that when the Undertaker comes back they are surprised?
Oh, and if you can, please plug my cartoon video about Paul London and Brian Kendrick's trip to Bob Evans.

Thank you!

Oooo, clever boy! I approve of the lights out gag. Although you know it's basically going to end with Undertaker beating Punk and the Shield 1-on-4.
I think it's obvious that The Shield is being led by Sabu.
ReplyDeleteHe's homicidal, suicidal, genocidal.... and he's ready to serve justice!
ReplyDeleteI'd personally love to see Sabu in a wacky cop comedy film!
Why are Paul London and Brian Kendrick visiting Mike Bennett's useless trainer?
ReplyDeleteSabu was really a trendsetter. He was pointing at signs up in the ceiling long before it became fashionable.
ReplyDeleteActually, I think Undertaker/Kane/Bryan vs the Shield would be a hell of a match, especially under elimination rules.
ReplyDeleteHe has the moustache.
ReplyDeleteMight be cool to see an Elimination Chamber match that is team-based, rather than six-way. 3-on-3, quasi-War Games match?
ReplyDeleteWar Games: Undertaker, Kane, Bryan & Mick Foley (or Tommy Dreamer) vs CM Punk & Shield = One hell of a match. :)
ReplyDeleteMade me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteIf they stick with the Punk Vs Rock rematch, and still go for 2 elimination chamber matches as is the tradition, I can see that happening!
ReplyDeleteI'd watch it, but they'd have to get Taker back giving promos by like, last night. And he'd need a reason to team with Hell No, which I'm not sure he has. They don't have enough time for this. Though they could build to that for Wrestlemania. I'd rather watch that with Taker, than Taker/Punk. That way you could have Punk and Brock against someone. Or put Punk in for the World Title against ADR...Though...I'm not sure that would be a good idea either. hrmm...I almost feel that Ryback would be the better choice to job to Taker. Gah! So many directions to go.
ReplyDeleteWell, since they already did Ryback/Hell No vs Shield, what if the rematch is announced for WM, Shield "injures" Ryback after Elimination Chamber, and Kane is like "well, I called in a favor." and the lights go out, except it's Taker instead of Shield. Plus, you can have Shield declare Undertaker's streak an injustice, and vow to end it.
ReplyDeleteLast time we saw Taker, he joined forces with Kane to tombstone a bunch of jobbers. So him allying with Team Hell No isn't THAT far fetched. Kane and Taker essentially make sense to team whenever with the brothers angle, and Bryan getting angry that Taker's coming between him and Kane writes itself.
