LESNAR/HHH Reax from NJ guy

Lesnar is HUGE in this area. I will be there live with 11 other guys. Most of them are MMA guys and want to see Lesnar more than anything. Also, besides GSP, Lesnar seemed to be the guy to fill bars during UFC PPVs in the area ( I rotate between 4 bars for PPV's, and Lesnar and GSP were the biggest draws).


Not to mention Brock beating Rock at Summerslam 2002 on Long Island was basically a babyface reaction for Brock the whole way.

    I think one of the reasons they brought back Shawn to be in HHH's corner, aside from the fact that he's awesome, is it will help pull some cheers towards Hunter as people love DX. Otherwise, straight up HHH vs. Brock and a North-East crowd wlil be heavily in Lesnar's corner.

    He's tried to get VSLBL over for a while now and it's just not working. He's the only one who uses it. It's like Morrison trying to get "Mr. Ziggles" over.

    I was at SummerSlam 2002. Long Island crowds are usually awful but they were hot for a lot of the night, especially Rock/Brock. Cheering the hell out of Lesnar was awesome as cheering for the heel in a main event was still fairly new. Loved that show.

    Yeah but that was different since Shawn was an active performer and not at "living legend" status. Aside from Canadia, I don't think there's any market that would negatively react to Shawn.

    I guess NY doesn't really like anybody, probably except for people nobody else likes or is supposed to like. But I think Shawn's considered at a different level now even when compared to 2004. I'm sure that him and Bret burying the hatchet helps a bunch. I guess I can't say they'll definitely cheer Shawn but I'd still be surprised if he's booed.
