RD Reynolds just said on his podcast recently that the book was finished. The original was a good read
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the original but might check out this edition.
ReplyDeleteA new edition! With 30% more bullshit!
ReplyDeleteEverything I've read said the book was a lot of unsourced crap. Can anyone elaborate?
ReplyDelete"Writing assistant"? Blah blah blah yada yada yada Big Show punches Daniel Bryan. Fill in the rest, monkey.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lot of unsourced crap. It's like a bunch of forum ramblings in book form.
ReplyDeleteSo Jeff Hardy and aj are the two young up and comers that hulk thinks have the biggest star potential? Hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteYep. And they're both 36.
ReplyDeleteUnless the Death of WCW book is written by Kevin Sullivan, I'm not reading it. Also, he needs to book TNA.
ReplyDeleteConChairShow!
ReplyDelete"The writing assistant resumed his duties after medical treatment which made Sin Cara look like an even bigger pussy."
ReplyDeleteWell not like that writer can make Big Show look like anymore of a bitch, so no harm done
ReplyDeleteDid he accidentally hit the writing assistant or "accidentally" hit him? Because there's a rumor that the assistant was seen giving someone a proper handshake earlier that day.
ReplyDeleteAs I type this cultstatus is at 9999 comments. What will he do for his epic 10,000th comment? TUNE INTO NITRO TO FIND OUT!!!
ReplyDelete(either that or it just stops counting at 9999)

ReplyDeletemany laughs on the toilet as i read the original.
ReplyDeleteand holy fuck do I feel old.
ReplyDeleteMore bullshit per pound in the wcw book or when hogan talked about TNA in that interview?
ReplyDeleteIt was my understanding they cited mostly dry statistics like ratings and attendance numbers, so pleasure elaborate on how its unsourced. I'm not defending it. I've never read it. I'm curious as to why you'd make that claim.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's retiring at that #. It won't be touched for a long time.
ReplyDelete"It won't be touched for a long time."
ReplyDeleteKind of like your wiener! ZING!
y2k bug?
ReplyDeleteI want to see an F-bomb dropped. Hopefully, he won't have a braineurism while typing his epic post, leaving it incomplete.
ReplyDeleteYour sig fucks me up every time I see it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not one to usually care about such things, but that's impressive. I'm calling it, #10,000 will be a "worked shoot" on Scott.
ReplyDeleteI think I post pretty frequently... he has more posts over the person in second place than I do total... that's... something.
ReplyDeleteMmm pleasure elaborate
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty young, compared to how old Hogan is.
ReplyDeleteI would be embarrased to say I was "writer" or "assistant" on a show that entirely revolves around one dude saying another dude sucks, and then that dude kicking that guy back and calling him "poop". And then HHH beats both guys and they cry.
ReplyDeleteYou accidentally looked down at your wang?
ReplyDeleteNot that I dislike Jake the Snakeor anything, but Hogan puts him in the all time TOP FIVE??? He's better than Ric Flair, Shawn Micheals, Bret Hart, Undertaker, I could go on and on.
ReplyDeleteJake was great in the ring and had a great gimmick, but come on,top 5?
10 years later and I'm still pissed I read that WCW book. It was nothing but speculation and conjecture without one quote from anyone involved with WCW. The only other book I've read with such poor writing and a lack of research has been the Bill O'Reily Lincoln book.
ReplyDeleteIt was entertaining though. So there's that.
ReplyDeleteWhat you mean by "accidentally"?
ReplyDeleteExcited for the new edition. Definitely my favorite of the three wrestlecrap books that have been released.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't bother to ask anyone who was actually there and they just reused second and third hand stories as if they were fact.
