Cool, although I'm pretty sure she's losing her precious belt tonight.

  1. Steph has so much testosterone in her at this point, she probably couldn't be classified as "woman".

  2. Always has been interesting to be how everyone is afraid of Vince, but he seems pretty fair when people do stand up to him. When Foley got the Mankind gimmick he told Vince he hated it and instead of firing him Vince used most of the ideas he had.

  5. What? Didn't Brock get that tattoo years after he left? Why would Vince feel he needed to be informed?

  6. Agreed 100%. I really respect that she straight up called Lawler out on how awful his commentary is on the women's matches and made him look like a fool when she had the chance.

Count me in the side that wants Lawler out of the booth. He's nothing but lame, hacky jokes and angle-burying bullshit. And as for him being a legend, yeah, I understand that he is...but having not grown up in Mem-phas Tenuhseee in the 70s, his legend really means nothing to me. His career in WWE consists of nothing but awful matches, except for Bret carrying him, and screaming PUPPIES in the 90s. I'm beyond sick of this guy.

  7. Natalya is fucking death on the mic. Also...is she actually good in the ring, or does she just get the "great worker" stamp simply from being a Hart? I mean, I'd say AJ and Kaitlyn could work circles around her easy, and Natalya just is better by the others by default. Otherwise I'd rank lots of other recent Divas (Eve, Beth, Melina) as considerably better in ring workers than Nattie.

  8. I can't disagree with Scotty's point or yours. Well done.

  9. Maybe I'm misremembering it because I just wanted to like her but in my mind I remember her being a good worker (relatively) during the Hart Dynasty days and when she first split off from them.

But I haven't seen anything passable from her in years. Maybe I just wanted to believe then.

Why is is wherever someone gets over on their on in the WWE the first thing that happens is they shit all over that person?

I wish she would have said if Jerry got a tat for every time he booked himself to be a 357,000 time champion in his teritory he'd die of ink poisoning.

  11. To 'put them in their place', right? I don't like subscribing to snarky groupthink, but is there another possible answer?

I like how she said she was 25 and therefore too old for Lawler to be interested in.

  12. She's decent. Her match series with Kaitlyn was pretty good. The matches had stories, actual finishes that sorta made sense and they were given enough time to tell their story. They never got the 20 minutes that the interview says unless I'm grossly misremembering but they got but they got 8-12 minutes a couple times and they delivered.

Unfortunately outside of Kaitlyn everyone else in the division right now is dreadful. Alicia is bad, the Bellas are really bad, Aksana is "exposing the business" bad, Layla quit trying 3 years ago, Naomi is green, Eve quit and I doubt the newcomers will be any better than horrific. So no matter how good she actually is, divas matches are going to look like crap unless Mickie signs or Sara del Rey starts wrestling again.

  13. I think she's actually pretty damn good as a "WWE Wrestler" (which includes working the crowd and all that stuff) and she's pretty solid as a pure in-ring worker either. Her moves have some actual oomph to them, even though she's like...112 pounds, and her finish is pretty damn sick (my non-fan brother was very impressed with the Black Widow).

And Naomi could be really good (check out a match she had with AJ on NXT, it was very solid) but I feel that she just hasn't had enough singles experience.

  14. She's the best female wrestler and in all honesty, better than a lot of the guys in term of actual storytelling and psychology. She does do a fair amount of the heel diva hairmare chinlock shit, but when she actually does moves they look pretty damn good (she's got a better Shining Wizard than Punk ever managed).

And her selling takes the best parts of Ziggler (making your opponent look like a killer) without adding the worst parts of Ziggler (business revealing cartoonishness).

  15. AJ is a lot of fun to watch- she keeps her character fresh, the Black Widow is a sick, sick finish perfect for her frame, and she's hot without being plastic.

And I realize some in the business hated her tattoo. You know what? Bleep them. Every good wrestler has a little mark in them for themselves (Exhibit A: Bret Hart). It may be a phony belt that doesn't impact business, but it's not like they're going to give her the IC belt. Hell, I'd pay good money for an AJ/Stephanie match well before I pay for HHH/Bryan.
