Here are my picks for this week:
Kansas City (-6.5) vs. Houston
San Francisco (-3.5) at Tennessee
Cincinnati (+ 2.5) at Detroit
Last Week: 1-2
Season: 6-9

I've got a bad feeling that RGIII gets his legs back this week and Chicago's patchwork D don't see it coming. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWent 6-0 last sunday. The gambling gods will strike me today with vengeance
ReplyDeleteNaw, washington sucks. Cytler will put up 38 and they'll win 38-21
ReplyDeleteSeeing as I'm starting Cutler in the flex and Marshall, that'd be great.
ReplyDeleteTexans are starting Case Keenum today and only getting 6.5 points? That doesn't seem right.
ReplyDeleteBradford has thrown a pick-six already!
ReplyDeleteI think Vegas thinks Keenums probably not a huge downgrade at this point and KC doesnt score alot of points so itll be like 21-14 or somewhere in there
ReplyDeleteTannahill just did also
ReplyDeleteI can't see it man. Everything going on in Houston points to everyone just mailing it in.
ReplyDeleteGod, I hate having to watch the Bucs and Dolphins every sunday
ReplyDeleteI lived in Mississippi back in the day and we had to watch the "Aints" every Sunday. Not good times
ReplyDeleteUgh. Bobby Hebret
ReplyDeleteLooks like all the Patriots injuries on defense are finally catching up to them
ReplyDeleteAnd Danny Wuerffel. Don't forget Danny F'n Wuerffel. I think Ditka entire reign was an inside joke to see how bad he could muck up the team
ReplyDeleteSuch a mess. Wuerffel couldnt throw the ball more then 30 yards
ReplyDeletewhat about steelers/ravens?
ReplyDeleteWhat about them?
ReplyDeleteNo Talib, Mayo, or Wilfork is rough.
ReplyDeleteits a big game/big rivalry and bayless didnt make a pick for it
ReplyDeleteOh.
ReplyDeleteI would take Baltimore
ReplyDeleteYOU GO TO HELL AND YOU DIE
ReplyDelete(ben sucks)
Forgot where I read this but the nfl should just do away with PATs and make all teams go for two after a TD
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Tommy Kelly.
ReplyDeletenah, having the option adds a little excitement in the clenches, however rarely used going for might be
ReplyDeleteBut at least it would get rid of that stupid go for two chart
ReplyDeleteCharles Tillman, Takeaway God.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Jets can run right up the middle all day long.
ReplyDeleteTerrible throw by Smith.
ReplyDeleteI agree that having the 2 pt option should remain. I think the proposal was to give teams the ball at the 2 yard line for a 1 point conversion and give them the ball at the 5 for a 2 pt conversion, or something like that.
ReplyDeleteFuck. Josh McCown. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI have my Vick and Cutler in one of my fantasy leagues - not good.
ReplyDeleteThought I was smart and benched Aaron Rodgers, due to injuries to Cobb and Jones, and started Cutler. I deserve to lose today
ReplyDeleteAll these games blow until Peyton/colts later
ReplyDeleteWords I never thought id utter: thad lewis aint bad at all
ReplyDeleteOh. OK. Now Briggs is out. Fuck you, football Gods.
ReplyDeleteHe ain't that good, either.
ReplyDeleteAt least you don't have to watch the Bills. Well, you do today.
ReplyDeleteTruer than we'd care to admit. For whatever reason, I have problems getting excited for games this year. But watching Peyton is something else. It's like watching Jordan winning MVPs in his 30s, Bernard Hopkins winning titles in his 40s, HBK or Bret creating a masterpiece in the ring... watching Peyton is watching a genius (as much as you can be genius in the sporting world) at work.
ReplyDeleteAnd Billy Joe Holbert, who only played there because the Bills cut him because he not only didn't bother to study the playbook, but actually came out and admitted to not studying the playbook in a press conference.
ReplyDeleteMeh, who needs the best players on the team. Amirite or amirite?
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Class dude who overcame a career threatening injury. Hard to not root for him
ReplyDeleteJosh McCown-RG3: The battle of the running QBs
ReplyDeleteNo but servicable for thir 3rd qb of the year. He got them to OT last week and keeping them in the game this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat did cutler injure?
ReplyDeleteGroin, I believe. A mere mortal would have died, but Cutty doesn't... and this Skins-Bears game has turned into a weird shoot out (except with running backs doing the most damage)
ReplyDeleteSeems like a wild game.
ReplyDeleteWow. Tannehill probably just cost the fins the game. Unacceptable
ReplyDeleteWow refs. Way to rob the patriots
ReplyDeleteOne of the worst calls I have ever seen took place at the end of the Jets/Pats game.
ReplyDeleteNEVER seen that called before. Ever
ReplyDeleteWhat happened? I don't want to read a sugar coated or safe explanation from a professional website
ReplyDeleteJets missed a 56 yarf FG in overtime. After the miss, a guy on the Pats was flagged 15 yards fo pushing his own teammate into the pile. The guy wasnt launched and it had no impact on the play. They also called it on a rookie free agent.
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't tell you what I learned from that have. On one hand we lost to Washington, on the other hand Tillman, Briggs and Cutler didn't finish the game and we only lost by 4.
ReplyDeleteYea, tough loss. Didnt see that one coming
ReplyDeleteI only need one comment this week:
ReplyDeletePATRIOTS LOSE! PATRIOTS LOSE! PATRIOTS LOSE! FUCK YES THE PATRIOTS LOSE!
I'm good.
Bobby was the second good QB we had, after Archie.
ReplyDeleteArchie had almost no one around him.
Bobby had enough to get the Saints to the playoffs multiple times, but couldn't win there.
Everett had a couple decent years, but the Saints were in decline.
The less said about Ditka's QB "choices", the better.
I always wonder "What if Jeff Blake DIDN'T die in the Oakland game?" The Saints were 7-4 with him, only went 5-4 (counting playoffs) under Brooks.
Brooks wasn't awful... until the Katrina season. But he wasn't alone then.
Brees... well, he's Drew FUCKING Brees for a reason.
Ditka's greatest Saints achievement was not only having two Billy Joe's on the roster (Hobert and Tolliver), but STARTING both in the same season. Twice (98 and 99)
ReplyDeleteReally? That was not prudent. Who did you start instead?
ReplyDeleteAnytime the Steelers win I am pleased.
ReplyDeleteAnytime the Ravens lose I am pleased.
Suffice to say I am VERY pleased.
