Comments

  1. I've got a bad feeling that RGIII gets his legs back this week and Chicago's patchwork D don't see it coming. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Went 6-0 last sunday. The gambling gods will strike me today with vengeance

    ReplyDelete
  3. Naw, washington sucks. Cytler will put up 38 and they'll win 38-21

    ReplyDelete
  4. Seeing as I'm starting Cutler in the flex and Marshall, that'd be great.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Texans are starting Case Keenum today and only getting 6.5 points? That doesn't seem right.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Bradford has thrown a pick-six already!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I think Vegas thinks Keenums probably not a huge downgrade at this point and KC doesnt score alot of points so itll be like 21-14 or somewhere in there

    ReplyDelete
  8. Tannahill just did also

    ReplyDelete
  9. I can't see it man. Everything going on in Houston points to everyone just mailing it in.

    ReplyDelete
  10. God, I hate having to watch the Bucs and Dolphins every sunday

    ReplyDelete
  11. I lived in Mississippi back in the day and we had to watch the "Aints" every Sunday. Not good times

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ugh. Bobby Hebret

    ReplyDelete
  13. Looks like all the Patriots injuries on defense are finally catching up to them

    ReplyDelete
  14. And Danny Wuerffel. Don't forget Danny F'n Wuerffel. I think Ditka entire reign was an inside joke to see how bad he could muck up the team

    ReplyDelete
  15. Such a mess. Wuerffel couldnt throw the ball more then 30 yards

    what about steelers/ravens?

    ReplyDelete
  17. What about them?

    ReplyDelete
  18. No Talib, Mayo, or Wilfork is rough.

  19. Your_Favourite_LoserOctober 20, 2013 at 11:22 AM

its a big game/big rivalry and bayless didnt make a pick for it

    ReplyDelete
  20. I would take Baltimore

YOU GO TO HELL AND YOU DIE

    (ben sucks)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Forgot where I read this but the nfl should just do away with PATs and make all teams go for two after a TD

    ReplyDelete
  23. Don't forget Tommy Kelly.

    ReplyDelete

nah, having the option adds a little excitement in the clenches, however rarely used going for might be

    ReplyDelete
  25. But at least it would get rid of that stupid go for two chart

    ReplyDelete
  26. Charles Tillman, Takeaway God.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah, Jets can run right up the middle all day long.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Terrible throw by Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I agree that having the 2 pt option should remain. I think the proposal was to give teams the ball at the 2 yard line for a 1 point conversion and give them the ball at the 5 for a 2 pt conversion, or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Fuck. Josh McCown. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I have my Vick and Cutler in one of my fantasy leagues - not good.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thought I was smart and benched Aaron Rodgers, due to injuries to Cobb and Jones, and started Cutler. I deserve to lose today

    ReplyDelete
  33. All these games blow until Peyton/colts later

    ReplyDelete
  34. Words I never thought id utter: thad lewis aint bad at all

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh. OK. Now Briggs is out. Fuck you, football Gods.

    He ain't that good, either.

At least you don't have to watch the Bills. Well, you do today.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Truer than we'd care to admit. For whatever reason, I have problems getting excited for games this year. But watching Peyton is something else. It's like watching Jordan winning MVPs in his 30s, Bernard Hopkins winning titles in his 40s, HBK or Bret creating a masterpiece in the ring... watching Peyton is watching a genius (as much as you can be genius in the sporting world) at work.

  39. Amsterdam_Adam_CurryOctober 20, 2013 at 1:33 PM

And Billy Joe Holbert, who only played there because the Bills cut him because he not only didn't bother to study the playbook, but actually came out and admitted to not studying the playbook in a press conference.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Meh, who needs the best players on the team. Amirite or amirite?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Agreed. Class dude who overcame a career threatening injury. Hard to not root for him

    ReplyDelete
  42. Josh McCown-RG3: The battle of the running QBs

    ReplyDelete
  43. No but servicable for thir 3rd qb of the year. He got them to OT last week and keeping them in the game this week.

    ReplyDelete
  44. What did cutler injure?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Groin, I believe. A mere mortal would have died, but Cutty doesn't... and this Skins-Bears game has turned into a weird shoot out (except with running backs doing the most damage)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Seems like a wild game.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Wow. Tannehill probably just cost the fins the game. Unacceptable

    ReplyDelete
  48. Wow refs. Way to rob the patriots

    ReplyDelete
  49. One of the worst calls I have ever seen took place at the end of the Jets/Pats game.

    ReplyDelete
  50. NEVER seen that called before. Ever

    ReplyDelete
  51. What happened? I don't want to read a sugar coated or safe explanation from a professional website

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jets missed a 56 yarf FG in overtime. After the miss, a guy on the Pats was flagged 15 yards fo pushing his own teammate into the pile. The guy wasnt launched and it had no impact on the play. They also called it on a rookie free agent.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I honestly can't tell you what I learned from that have. On one hand we lost to Washington, on the other hand Tillman, Briggs and Cutler didn't finish the game and we only lost by 4.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yea, tough loss. Didnt see that one coming

    ReplyDelete
  55. I only need one comment this week:

PATRIOTS LOSE! PATRIOTS LOSE! PATRIOTS LOSE! FUCK YES THE PATRIOTS LOSE!

    I'm good.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Bobby was the second good QB we had, after Archie.

Archie had almost no one around him.
Bobby had enough to get the Saints to the playoffs multiple times, but couldn't win there.
Everett had a couple decent years, but the Saints were in decline.
The less said about Ditka's QB "choices", the better.
I always wonder "What if Jeff Blake DIDN'T die in the Oakland game?" The Saints were 7-4 with him, only went 5-4 (counting playoffs) under Brooks.
Brooks wasn't awful... until the Katrina season. But he wasn't alone then.
Brees... well, he's Drew FUCKING Brees for a reason.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ditka's greatest Saints achievement was not only having two Billy Joe's on the roster (Hobert and Tolliver), but STARTING both in the same season. Twice (98 and 99)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Really? That was not prudent. Who did you start instead?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Charismatic e-Negro Jef VinsonOctober 21, 2013 at 9:39 AM

Anytime the Steelers win I am pleased.
Anytime the Ravens lose I am pleased.
Suffice to say I am VERY pleased.
