Random thought

Watching NXT and seeing feuds being blown off on the show. I was wondering if there would be any money in giving the NXT guys a $10 2 hour iPPV once in a while just to blow off some of the more popular feuds and to also see if some of the talent can hack a match longer than 3 minutes and be ready for the main shows. I just think it would be nice to see and something i'd pay for since it's the only wrestling show I watch now.

Thoughts?

No, no, NO.  I like them in their own little universe where no one's watching and Vince doesn't give a shit about them.  The shows build just fine week-to-week and the answer is 9 times out of 10 going to be "No, they're not ready for the main shows."  And that's OK, because that's part of the charm of the show in the first place.  Really, Sami Zayn and maybe a couple of other guys like Kassius Ohno are the only ones I'd want to see on RAW at this point, so putting them on PPV would just be setting them up for failure anyway.

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

But they'd still outdraw Bound For Glory on PPV.

RIMSHOT.

  4. Creating a pay-per-view for NXT - an iPPV at that - doesn't change the premise of the show, it just gives them an alternative output for the show, one that can make money without relying on a cable company. Making it a wwe.com exclusive iPPV would e a fantastic incentive for the guys on the show.

I think WWE is missing the boat on this one. I still don't think the higher-ups would pay attention to what's going on down there, as it wouldn't draw all that much bandwidth usage, but could still bring in some extra money. More than BFG? Maybe, who knows. But it's worth a shot.

  5. It's funny how all the people that used to defend TNA stopped doing it once Scott started hating on the product again.

  7. Though TNA has some infrastructure. They have some things going right for them. Would it be possible for ROH and TNA to team up? Do an invasion angle?
