Who's that limping out the ring... Rey Mysterio... there he goes...
ReplyDeletemaybe he's not really injured, just beat up from full on ring rust? that's an impressive injury turn around even for Rey. Note- injury turn around for Rey means the opposite of what it means for John Cena.
ReplyDeleteCesaro vs Regal has all of my thumbs for an idea.
Retire, Rey. Go out a hero, not a pathetic gimp.
ReplyDeleteOn the Wrestling Observer radio show, Alvarez made a comment about him limping TO the ring. There gets to be a point where even if he is healed, he's not healthy.
ReplyDeleteLet's let Louis CK explain: http://youtu.be/WzEhoyXpqzQ?t=1m
Jesus Rey...I was fucking kidding when I said you were injured.
ReplyDeleteThe Raw were he won the belt and lost it to Cena in a great match would have been a fantastic way to go out. I've been a Rey fan since ECW but I agree it's time to go, there are other things he can do.
ReplyDeleteSuch as? This is a legit question; not a dig in any way. Do you mean within the wrestling business, or does the man have other skills of which I am unaware?
ReplyDeletehe probably clean duct work.
ReplyDeleteHere you go, Rey- http://www.hirelittlepeople.com/jobs.htm
ReplyDeleteWait- why isn't Cesaro vs. Regal on the PPV?
ReplyDeleteTrainer, spanish announcer, enjoy the rest of his life with his family relaxing, run an indie promotion, serve as an agent especially for Mexican wrestlers, lots he can do.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering more about what, if anything, he might do outside the industry. Or, has he reached a point where he really doesn't need a source of income for the remainder of his days?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on how he has saved/invested which no one on these boards is going to know. His net worth is supposed to be about 8.5 million dollars so as long as he didn't blow it he should be set.
ReplyDeleteHHH doesn't think Regal's body is good enough, so the people won't buy him as a wrestler.
ReplyDelete..too late.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Rey is that his high-flying style is what got him fucked up to begin with and because he's so small no one would believe it if he abandoned it and went to a more mat-based style.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Smack head, coke head, pill head etc... seriously fuck that guy
ReplyDeleteLimpin' Aint' Easy.
ReplyDeleteSomeone please tell me this is just HHHtrolling (or as I like to call it, TripTrolling). Regal and HHH are friends, right? I understand the heavy reluctance to put Regal on a full-time schedule, but Regal-Cesario is MONEY. Ah well, I'll just watch it for free.
ReplyDelete"[S]erve as an agent especially for Mexican wrestlers"
ReplyDeleteThis. If WWE is going to bring in guys like Mistico, then they should have a resource who can bridge the gap from lucha to "WWE style".
Poe's Law, as applied to professional wrestling.
ReplyDeleteHe was limping on his way to the fucking ring. Jesus, Rey, just call it quits.
ReplyDeleteJesus Rey still has many years left. He's the lucha star of tomorrow...

ReplyDeleteVideo of him walking around the ring showed no signs of limping.
ReplyDeleteI like avocados and I am certainly not going to pick them
ReplyDeleteHe could reccomend a good Ace bandage.
ReplyDeleteThat's the funniest thing you have ever said
ReplyDeleteI dint know that it is that good given his history
ReplyDeleteI stole it from Mick Foley.
ReplyDeleteCould have sworn it was the Godfather.
ReplyDeleteRey deserves one more Wrestlemania payday. He's as loyal an employee as this company's going to find.
ReplyDeleteReys gotta fucking hang it up. Love ya man, but move on
ReplyDeleteMaybe he should get that cart they used to bring Andre the Giant to the ring at Wrestlemania.
ReplyDeleteRing rust? That motherfucker didn't MAKE it to the ring.
ReplyDeleteJust have Rey introduce the WWE Universe to Kalisto, he's the future Rey.
ReplyDeleteThat "History of the WWE" DVD... I'm psyched for the documentary, but I really have no interest in the matches. Not that they're bad, per se, just that most of them have been released already, multiple times even. Even the Cena/Punk match from earlier is pretty much a lock for the "Best PPV Matches of 2013" release.
ReplyDeleteThen again, I can't really fault the company for choosing those matches. If you're doing a documentary about your company's history, then you're going to naturally pick the biggest matches in your company's history. As nice as it would have been to get a great hidden gem, I can understand why such choices really wouldn't fit.
He just needs to stay healthy and keep his family issues in check long enough to get one. That's the problem.
ReplyDeleteJacked as shit for Kalisto. Not even gonna lie.
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of him so just watched some footage on Youtube. He's spectacular but he won't be able to use about half his moveset in the WWE. All of his big moves especially. The video I watched was basically a compilation of people landing on their head/neck!
ReplyDeleteYeah
ReplyDeleteYeah, but even if they were totally safe, he still wouldn't be allowed to use them. The WWE style basically restricts you to two or three signature moves, including finisher.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's OK. I loathe Indy spotfests.
I just think his l
ook and style are awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt was him, Stone Cold, The Rock, and...Kane at a house show where they were making jokes about Foley's knee injury.
ReplyDeleteThere you have it.
ReplyDeleteThere are these things called "grocery stores" with "produce sections." They should have your "avocados." No picking from you required, aside from choosing the one(s) you like.
ReplyDeleteRey? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteYes. I dislike him as a wrestler and as a person.
ReplyDeleteAh then I take that back... still nothing funny from you.
ReplyDeleteWhy as a person? I hadn't heard anything about his being a junkie, but I also hadn't looked.
ReplyDeleteNo Buddy Rogers winning the title is surprising.
ReplyDelete
